He absolutely loved flying, being free and moving fast! Except he didn’t particularly enjoy all the attention he got as such a well-known pegasus. Somepony might even go as far as to call him famous for being able to create a thunder boom when reaching high speeds and producing a lightning trail afterward. His life in Cloudsdale had to come to an end, he needed a change of scenery. “Done! I’m sick of this place…. All of these ponies, the way they treat me, I just want out! I want a new life where no pony knows me and I can be happy…. Alone.” Thunder Flash said stomping his hoof down in his small cloud apartment near to the weather team’s main office. He was there just in case he needed to be called in for an emergency thunderstorm. Yep, that’s all he was good for, was cooking up and good storm. He didn’t entirely hate being a weather pony, he really did enjoy making others happy and especially loved flying in the rain through the dark clouds with all the lightning bolts jumping around, he found it exhilarating. “I want to go somewhere, where somepony will appreciate the weather work that I do, and I can enjoy flying and keep to myself. “Then go, you’ll find that Ponyville is full of wonderful happy ponies who would definitely love to have you as part of their community.” Came a mysterious, yet oh so familiar voice inside his head. He knew just who it was. “Hello Princess, what a surprise. Were you eavesdropping on my personal thoughts?” Thunder thought as sarcastically as he could, hoping she would not be offended, even though he knew she had a good sense of humor. “You seemed a little troubled the last time I saw you, so I thought that I might check up on you, but anyway, I mean what I said. Go to Ponyville, leave here if you don’t want to stay, I’m sure someone else could replace the “Lighting bolt of Cloudsdale,” as head of thunderstorms division here in Cloudsdale. “Are you sure Princess? I don’t think I should just get up and leave.” Thunder pondered “I am 100 percent serious Thunder Flash, if you feel un fulfilled here in Cloudsdale as the captain of the thunderstorms division, then go off and be happy, I’ll send notice to my faithful student Twilight Sparkle, she resides in the Ponyville library, she will do something about your living arrangements.” “Thank you very much Princess, it means so much to me that you would do all of this for me, please don’t tell anyone where I’m going or why I’m leaving, alright?” Thunder said out loud to the empty room. “Of course Thunder, I will do exactly that, have Twilight right to me when you arrive.” “No need, I’ll be there in under a minute.” Thunder said boastfully “Oh really? Don’t you need to pack anything?” Celestia said, puzzled. “Naww, I’m just bringing food and money, send my final pay check to me later ok?” “As you wish Thunder, I hope you have a safe journey to Ponyville and a happy new life. Twilight has received my letter and is already preparing for your arrival in Ponyville, look for the large tree house, that’s where she will be. Good bye Thunder, write to me if you need anything, I’d be happy to oblige.” Celestia said with her usual calm and soothing voice. Thunder always thought her voice was truly beautiful and loved the conversations he had with her, even though there weren’t that many. They always seemed to get along, having a similar sense of humor. “Will do Princess and thanks again, I mean it.” Thunder said, getting a little excited about what his new life had in store for him. He put about 10 apples in each of his saddle bags, dropped a coin purse with around 500 bits in it and put his signature old style looking golden flight goggles on his neck as he left his house, turned off the lights and closing the door behind him, he muttered to himself “Good bye and good riddance.” Trotting through the cloudy streets of Cloudsdale, nearing the edge, Thunder sighed; time to get a fresh start. Leaving behind his friends who he would regularly hang out with and the mare who’d broken his heart some time ago. He was just glad to be getting away from it all. His mind started to wander once he reached the edge of the cloud that was Cloudsdale, peering down at the dimly lit town below, “there it is, Ponyville, my new home…” Just barely making out the image of the giant tree in the middle of the village, “That must be Twilight Sparkle’s house.” His thoughts drifted to his friend Blazing Flame, his friend who he would hang out with whenever he actually felt like leaving his house. Then drifting to thoughts of Flitter Breezeheart, the mare that destroyed his heart, dumping him while he was about to head out to make an emergency weather call. Shaking his head to free himself from thoughts of her, he still had feelings for her, that he couldn’t deny, but he wanted to forget about her. “Now or never, Goodbye Cloudsdale, goodbye Blazing Flame, and ugh… goodbye Flitter” Thunder said solemnly to himself. He took a couple steps back then ran towards the edge of the cloud, leaping as hard as he could, wings still firmly at his side. He began to fall, pace increasing as he put his goggles over his eyes so he could see. Straitening himself out and aligning himself with the area in front of Twilight house, he made himself as thin and as aerodynamic he could make his fairly large stallion body look. He could feel like he was reaching a good speed and flapped his wings once, as hard as he could almost doubling his speed, making a thunderous boom and a lighting trail appear behind him. “There’s no thunderstorm scheduled for tonight is there Rainbow?” Twilight said to the rainbow maned cyan pegasus standing next to her, rubbing her sleepy eyes. “No, ugh Twilight, why did you bring me out here at 2:00am, I have to get up early tomorrow to clear the skies.” Rainbow said to her purple unicorn friend. “The Princess sent me a letter and said to arrange living quarters for a weather pegasus coming down from Cloudsdale. So I thought to get you, being the most logical choice, since you’re a pegasus as well. Twilight said, proud of her good decision. “Wait a minute, you said a weather pegasus from Cloudsdale, coming right now? “Yes I did Rainbow, why?” “And we just heard thunder and saw lightning correct? “Yes why!? “ohmygosh, ohmygosh, ooooh myyy gooosh!” Rainbow said, suddenly more awake then she was seconds ago. “What is it Rainbow? Do you know this pegasus?” Twilight said with a quizzical look on her face. “Yes! His name is…” BOOM! Swish, a yellow bolt of lightning flew past the two mares standing there in the open night cloaked town. Thunder landed flew in a super high speeds, swooping up right before impacting the ground. Looping around an landing in between the two mares, “Hi my name is Thunder Flash, you must be Twilight Sparkle!” “That’s him, the Lighting bolt of Cloudsdale, Thunder Flash! He is known by all the weather pegasus for his amazing thunderstorms and signature lightning bolt and thunder boom when he reaches top speed.” Rainbow Dash said, trying to conceal a fan girl squee. “Yup, but please, just call me Thunder, I left the thunderstorm team to get away from all of the annoying pegasus always trying to get my autograph or hang out with. All I really wanted was a quiet place to enjoy some music and to fly with a good friend. “Well, Mr. Thunder Flash, I have arranged for you to stay with my good friend Raindbow Dash here, she is the fastest pony in all of Equestria!” Twilight said with a big smile “Fastest pony in all of Equestra? Wow, I always hear the ponies talk about the winner of the best young flier’s competition, Rainbow Dash, only pegasus to pull off a sonic rainboom. I’m honored to meet you, and would be great full to have you let me stay in your home, Ms. Rainbow Dash.” Thunder said, as cool as he could, trying to make the best impression he could. Blushing profusely Dash tried to reply “I-I-I uhmm, thank you Thunder Flash, that means so much coming from you, you’re welcome to stay at my house as long as you need.” Taking a big breath after speaking. “Thank you very much and you to Twilight, it was very nice of you to convince Rainbow Dash to let me stay at her house” “Actually she was against it until she fou—mmmph mhmhmmmph!” Twilight was cut off by Rainbows hoof in her mouth. “Ehehe, uhmm, let’s go to my house, it’s that big cloud one over there, start heading over, I’ll be there in just a moment.” Rainbow Dash said, unaware that he face was bright red. “Alrighty, you’re the boss!” Thunder said with a sarcastic smirk as his wings shot out. They were bigger then Dashes, that was why he was so fast, he flapped them one good time and went straight into the air and slowly flew over to Dashes house. Dash watched him slowly fly away; she couldn’t take her eyes off of him, still blushing, even harder than before. She couldn’t help but notice his large muscles and long vibrant mane that compliment his dark black fur coat. “Rainbow! What was that for!?!?” Twilight said, spitting Dashes hoof out of her mouth. “Shh Twilight, please don’t tell him that, I don’t want him to think I’m some weird obsessive fangirl, I’ve just always been a fan of his work and I kind ‘a look up to him “Oohh, Rainbow, you like him don’t you?” Twilight said smiling devilishly. “No I don’t! I don’t like anypony, no matter how cool or…. Good looking they are….” Dash trailed off. “Just go home and make him feel welcome I won’t tell anypony about your crush on our new resident.” “I don’t have a crush on him!” Dash yelled a little louder then she though, causing Thunder to glance back at the two mares. “You coming Rainbow Dash?” Thunder yelled toward the rainbow pegasus. “Oh! Yeah! I’m coming!” Rainbow said eagerly. “This might not be so bad, so far it’s an improvement on Cloudsdale” Thunder thought to himself. Dash quickly caught up to him and matched his pace. Grinning widely “I’m really happy I got to meet you, I really like you, erh, I mean your work.” Dash said with a blush “I like you to Rainbow Dash, you don’t need to be so nervous around me, just treat me like one of your friends ok?” Thunder said with a smile “Oh yeah, alright, uhmm, Thunder Flash? I was wondering if I could get some pointers from you some time, maybe you’d like to fly with me?” Rainbow asked, her face going beet red. “Damn it Rainbow! You can’t fall for him, he’s just an over glorified weather pony with amazing speed and cool attitude with alluring blue eyes…” Rainbow thought to herself. Smacking herself in the face with her hoof trying to stop the thoughts she was having about Thunder. “I’d love to fly with you sometime; I was hoping you would ask me! I’m a little excited about flying with the fastest and coolest mare in all of Equestria!” he said with a happy look on his face. “You think I’m the coolest and fastest mare in Equestria?!?” Dash said, so taken back by what Thunder had said to her. “Well I defiantly think your cool, but the speed thing, well, that depends on when we have our little flying session.” Thunder said with a wink. Dash couldn’t believe she was with Thunder Flash, the Lighting Bolt of Coudsdale and he was complimenting her. She was beyond a whole new level of happy. “You wanna have our flying session right now?” Dash said, rubbing her eyes and yawning. “I’m pretty awake, but you look pretty tired, we should get back to your place soon. I mean I haven’t even went to sleep tonight and it’s around 3:00am and I think rest is a good idea.” Thunder said, smiling awkwardly at having to deny the mares flying request. He felt something when he saw her sad look, something he had felt since he first met Flitter, he blushed a little. “Aww ok, I guess sleep is a better idea.” Rainbow was still looking sad. “Y’know what? Fine, let’s race to your house, first one there and to do 1 lap wins ok?” Thunder said trying to cheer Dash up. It worked, upon hearing that, her ears perked up and her face lit up, “really? Oh man! I’m totally gunna win! Ready set go!” Dash yelled, speeding off towards her house. “Whoah!” Thunder said as he saw her shoot off towards her house, leaving a rainbow trail behind her. Thunder flapped his wings as fast and as hard as he could trying to catch up with Dash, she wasn’t far behind. He finally caught up with her, they were almost at her house, and Thunder said “Nice try but you’re too tired to beat me!” With that, he flapped his wings even harder and it made his signature thunderous boom, and he soared forward, leaving a lightning trail behind him and a half asleep Dash, mouth a gape. Thunder zoomed around her house and came to a graceful stop in front of her door. Dash didn’t even finish the race, only came down in front of Thunder with a disappointed look on her face. “That’s not fair.” “It is to, that’s my special talent, but still nowhere as impressive as your speed and the sonic rainboom.” Thunder said modestly. “But I lost, I never lose, I hate losing…” Dash said, with a bit of anger is her voice… “It wasn’t a fair race, you were tired, we’ll race again tomorrow ok?” Thunder said, trying not to make his new friend angry with him. As the two pegasus entered the house, they walked up Dashes spiral stairs towards her bedroom, “Uhmm, where will I be staying?” Thunder asked shyly, trying not to sound rude. “Oh pony feathers! I forgot you don’t have a room… Uhmm I don’t know I only have one room in my house, I guess you could sleep on the couch, or uhm, we could…. Uhm-uh sh-share my bed, I mean it is really big.” Rainbow said with her face burning red. “Uhm you hardly know me and you’re asking me to sleep with you? That’s awfully forward; I admire your courage though.” Thunder said embarrassed at her question. “I think I’ll sleep on a couch and we can deal with the no room thing tomorrow, I’m tired and don’t want to make you feel un comfortable, having a strange pony in your bed with you.” Thunder said blushing as well. Rainbow Dash was a tad disappointed that she was turned down, but she half expected it, considering he had many mares lined up to be with him and he never was known to be with anypony after hearing about his break up with Flitter. “I oh, uhmm, I’m sorry if you thought that was a little weird, I just wanted you to be comfortable, maybe feel a little more at home” “It’s alright Rainbow Dash, I’ll just sleep downstairs on that couch I saw, thanks again for letting me stay at your place, it’s real nice of you.” As Thunder walked downstairs he felt a little disappointed to turn down Rainbow Dash’s offer, but he knew it was the right thing to do, he didn’t even know if she liked him, she might already have a special somepony. “Call me Dash, Rainbow Dash is too formal.” Dash called out to him. “Will do, Dash!” he said with emphasis on the Dash part and a wink. Rainbow Dash blushed profusely and turned around and got into her bed. “Oh my gosh, Thunder Flash is in your house, and downstairs, in your house, sleeping here…. This is a dream come true.” Rainbow Dash has always thought he was a good looking stallion and was shocked at his appearance face to face. She buried her face into her pillow and drifted to sleep. Thunder was surprised that he was out of Cloudsdale and already well off, he had made two friends, has a place to live in and it was with a beautiful athletic mare pegasus, he was very happy. Something he hadn’t felt in some time. “I wonder where things will go tomorrow?” Thunder said placing his saddle bags at the side of the couch and throwing his goggles on them and crawling onto the couch and slowly drifting to sleep, thinking about his new life, a fresh start here, in Ponyville. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Racing Heart, Two Destined Lovers //-------------------------------------------------------// The Racing Heart, Two Destined Lovers Morning was here, slowly opening his eyes; Thunder could see the sun shining through the windows. Groaning as he dropped off the couch, he looked around the room sleepily. “Oh yeah, I’m still in Rainbow Dash’s house.” Wandering around, wondering what to do, he decided he would go into Dash’s room to see if she was awake, passing a clock he saw that it was 7:00am, “Wow, that’s early for going to bed at like 3:00.” Wondering why he wasn’t tired, he continued towards Dash’s room, coming to her room he peeked in, seeing Rainbow Dash in her bed, sleeping soundly with a smile on her face. He blushed a little bit, thinking to himself, “She’s just some pegasus who’s letting you stay in her house, there’s no reason to be afraid to talk her, you talk to plenty of fillies before, some who are real lookers. None of them are as good looking as her, that’s for sure” blushing wildly, as he backs away. Thunder moves into the kitchen and sees a schedule on the fridge, “Oh pony feathers! Rainbow Dash has to bring in a storm in a half an hour!” remembering that she was still asleep, Thunder grabbed his goggles and shot out the nearest window towards Twilight’s house. “Twilight! Twilight! Are you up?” Thunder shouted. “Yes Thunder what do you need? I’m in the middle of making my morning checklist of things I need to put on my checklist of things to do today.” “Uhmm what?!? Never mind Dash is still asleep and there’s a storm due in half an hour, I’m going to help her out, where’s the main office for the weather pegasi?” Thunder asked hurriedly “There is none, Rainbow Dash takes care of all of the weather around hear except for the major storms that Cloudsdale would send it, all of it on her schedule.” Twilight said smiling at your offer of help. “Oh, all by myself? Hmm I kind of like the sound of that.” Thunder said tapping his chin with his hoof and smiling devilishly. “My copy of the weather schedule says just some clouds and a bit of rain. Make sure you don’t overdo it, ok?” “Alright Twilight, thanks for the help!” Thunder said putting his goggles on his eyes and speeding away into the sky. “Alright, time to get some clouds and start some rain.” Thunder said to himself as he flew off into the distance. As time passed, the clouds accumulated and eventually there was a full-fledged storm over Ponyville with rain pouring and wind blowing. As Thunder flew past Twilight’s house he saw her poke her head out the window, mane blowing violently in the wind. “Nice job Thunder! This storm is fantastic, you should probably go check on Rainbow!” Twilight shouted “Will do Twilight! I’m heading there now.” Thunder said saluting and flying home as fast as he could, hoping Dash was still asleep. When he got home he flew in through the window and closed all the windows to prevent the rain from getting in. He trotted over to Dash’s room and peeked in the door, seeing she was still asleep. Thunder boomed and Dash shot out of her bed and screamed “Oh crap! I have to make a storm that covers the whole town and it’s already 9:00am! What do I do? What do I do?” “You can calm down and listen that’s one thing” Thunder said pushing her door open and walking into her room, she looked at him in surprise while listening to the patter of rain and the sound of wind around her house. “There’s already a storm? But who? And when did? Did you do this?” Rainbow said very confused and still probably half asleep. “Yeah, I kinda peeked in your room when I got up and saw you were sleeping there so peacefully, and I did wake you up when I came here from Cloudsdale.” Thunder said, a little embarrassed, “So I decided that I would take matters in to my own hands and put my specialty to work and I made this big storm here for you” “You did 2 hours of all of this just so I could sleep in? Why didn’t you wake me up to do it.” Rainbow said really confused, yet relieved that she didn’t have to do it herself, she was dreading having to get up that early. “What kind of a stallion would I be if I woke a the mare that I just kept up all night and told her to go and do hard labor, not a very nice one that’s for sure. Plus I enjoy the solitude when I’m dealing with the weather, when I was in Cloudsdale; I was always surrounded by pegasus wanting to talk to me, that’s why I left” “Oh well, hehe, thanks a lot for that, I am pretty tired.” Rainbow said rubbing the back of her head, a little embarrassed. “I’m getting kinda hungry and I’m sure you haven’t eaten in a while, want to head down to Ponyville for a bite to eat? My treat!” “Really? Thanks so much Rainbow Dash, I’m getting really hungry, I haven’t eaten since lunch yesterday. I really need a job” Thunder said a little sad. “Would you like to work with me as the weather pegasus? You could be my little helper.” Rainbow says with a smirk nudging Thunder in the side. “Okay! That sounds great, you and me, workin’ together clearin’ the skies for all the happy ponies of Ponyville, I’d like that and I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone other than the fastest and coolest mare in all of Equestria” Thunder said letting out a bit of a laugh Taken back by his compliment, Rainbow blushed a little. She had noticed herself that she was getting more comfortable around Thunder. As was Thunder around her, they had only known each other for a little while, but both had quite a connection. “Oh you know it, and there’s more where that came from.” Rainbow said heading towards the door, “Now stop your chit chatting and let’s go chow down.” Flinging the door open, wind came in and rain started pelting Rainbow, she slammed the door and looked back at you with a soaked mane. “Hehe, maybe we could just stay home for the day and eat here? Rainbow said, looking between bunches of her dripping mane. “You really have out done yourself, that’s for sure.” She said with a giggle “Yeah, I can make us some breakfast, I had cooking for myself for years.” Thunder said, with confidence in his eyes. “I’m going to make you a breakfast you’ll never forget my dear friend Dash.” Blushing at the thought of having breakfast made for her by the stallion she had a crush on, though she would never tell anypony that she has a crush on somepony, she did have an image to uphold, but she was excited that somepony cared enough to make her breakfast. She kept thinking to herself, “He’s just a friend, why would somepony who has turned down mare after mare like me anyways?” Saddening herself a little, but still happy none the less. After around 45 minutes of waiting in her room with the door closed, cleaning up, she could smell wonderful smells coming from the kitchen she opened her door and started to trot towards the kitchen. “No no no, you stay in there until I’m done, just 5 more minutes while I set the table and put the finishing touches on.” Thunder said pointing towards Dash’s room. The two ponies enjoyed their meal and Dash was very impressed with Thunder’s cooking skills. She found his ability to cook that well, a little bit attractive. After they finished eating and cleaned up the kitchen, the two ponies headed out to clear the clouds because the storm was supposed to be done for the day. With the two pegasus working together, they cleared all of the clouds in under 5 minutes. Panting heavily Dash and Thunder looked at each other and smiled, “I’ve never had that much fun clearing the clouds with anypony before” Rainbow said looking at thunder, blushing and smiling. “I’ve never actually gotten to clear the clouds, it’s usually a team that comes in later, so I’m off for the rest of the day.” Thunder said also out of breath. Both of the pegasus were both in a great mood and were full of energy. “Now that it’s clear out, do you wanna have our re match?” Rainbow Dash asked with fire in here radiant lavender eyes. “Uhmm, sure Dash, but uh, where do you wanna race?” Thunder asked Dash, feeling a tad nervous that he might lose to the athletic rainbow mane mare. “Uhh, how about through Ghastly Gorge? I’ve raced through there once before, it’s pretty intense and really long.” Rainbow suggest, hoping Thunder would say yes. “Uhm, sure I guess, but no holding back alright Dash? I wanna see if you really are the fastest pony in all of Equestria” Thunder said, trying to boost his confidence by being nice and making the conversation about Dash instead. “Alright then Thunder! You are on! I am going to leave you in the dust.” Rainbow exclaimed as the two pegasus made their way towards Ghastly Gorge. Arriving at the entrance of the gorge, thunder flew up as high as he could in order to get a good view of gorge and trail. After soaking in the details of the gorge, Thunder met up with Dash at the entrance again. “Are you sure you want to do this Dash? It’s kind of dangerous looking,” Thunder said, kind of nervous. He hadn’t done much agile flying, most of his flying was just speed, he was agile, but still probably not as agile as Rainbow. Thunder had never flown through here and was kind of nervous after hearing Dash’s story about getting caught under some rocks at the bottom of the gorge. Thunder wasn’t exactly very confident when it came to his abilities, only when he felt comfortable around somepony could he talk about his exceptional speed. “Don’t worry scaredy cat, just keep your eyes ahead of you and you’ll be able to see me go through the gorge, then you’ll know where to go.” Dash said, boastfully. “Alright Dash, you’re on, I will prove to you that I’m still faster, on your mark.” Thunder said, pawing at the ground and getting ready to go at the signal. “Go!” Dash yells as they both dash off into the sky and down into the gorge. Speeding through at high speeds, dodging the out cropping rocks on the side of gorge. One powerful flap of his wings, and Thunder reached top speed with a boom and a flash, Thunder’s speed doubles as he zooms through the gorge leaving a lightning trail behind, Thunder gained a huge lead on Dash and she immediately knew what she had to do. Knowing that it was only a possibility that it would work, she had to try it if she wanted to win, speeding up as much as she could, Dash kept on Thunder. Even with his speed doubled, Dash was starting to catch up to him, looking back, Thunder started really pushing himself as hard as he could to keep ahead, when behind him…. BOOM, He saw an enormous rainbow coloured ring and then a flash of a rainbow as Dash flew past him at almost 3 times his speed. Immediately, Thunder stopped and just stared with his mouth agape, astonished at what he just saw, a sonic rainboom, it was supposed to be just a myth, he had only heard ponies talking about it, never seeing one himself. Do to the sonic rainboom and his thunder boom earlier, a lot of the loose boulders started coming down, fast. Thunder started to panic as he dodged boulders left and right, just barely able to make it away in time, there was no hope of him winning, not now, not since she pulled that kind of move off. Looking back over her shoulder, Dash could see Thunder hovering in place, completely in awe at what he just saw, she turned around and flew over to him at incredible speeds, leaving a vibrant and beautiful rainbow trail in her wake. Stopping right under him at the edge of the gorge, on the ground. Thunder flew down to Dash to have her fall into his hoofs. “Hehe, so what’d you think of the sonic rainboom, I’m the only pegasus in Equestria who can pull it off.” Rainbow said, still panting heavily. “That was, amazing Dash, just amazing, the colour, your speed, that was, just awesome, you’re awesome Dash.” Thunder said, looking into her lavender eyes. Thunder couldn’t help but think about how amazing this pegasus was, she really was something else, something truly special. “I’ve never heard anypony say anything like that to me, it uh, means a lot to me, thanks Thunder, but uhmm, you’re going to have to carry me home, a sonic rainboom kinda takes a lot out of me.” Rainbow said, now blushing furiously. “Alright Dash, but promise me one thing, we can have a talk when I we get back ok?” Thunder said, now filled with questions about this mare, who is she and why is she so amazing. “Deal, thanks, but sorry for making you carry me home.” Rainbow said as she was helped up onto Thunders back, her forelegs wrapped around Thunders neck tightly. “Any time, you’re not heavy at all. You all set back there?” “Yeah, I’m ok” Dash said with her face buried in Thunders mane, he smelt like her house, mixed with the smell of the forest air. She thought the smell of him was intoxicating. “What’s wrong with you, you even think he smells good, stop being such a girly girl, you don’t fall for anypony.” Dash thought to herself, she could think that all she wants, but she couldn’t stop it from happening, she was falling for this pegasus that she just met last night. What she didn’t know was, Thunder, the stallion who never had feelings for anypony, or much feelings at all, let alone happiness since Flitter left him, was falling for her. Dash was the only pony who had made him smile since Flitter had been with him, but there was something different about her, something captivating. Thunder stretched his large wings out and gave them one strong flap, pulling them both off of the ground. Dash squeezed tighter on Thunder to make sure she didn’t fall, causing her to bush even more. “Do you want to get some dinner after our talk when we get back Dash?” Thunder asked, a little embarrassed to be asking her to dinner. “Yeah, sure, I’d love to” Dash said, with her head still against the back of his neck. She felt them touch down at her house as he walked her into her house and gently placed her down on her couch. “Alright Dash, uhm, I don’t mean to be so front about this, but who are you? I mean you just did a sonic rainboom, and you’re letting me stay in your house, a complete stranger, just because your friend asked you to?” Thunder asked, very eager for an answer. “Sigh- alright, I am exactly who I say I am, Rainbow Dash, the weather pegasus of Ponyville and the element of loyalty, Twilight is one of my best friends, I’d do anything to help her, as well as, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack and Rarity.” Rainbow said looking at Thunder with a want of acceptance in her eyes. “Wait what? Element of loyalty? Sonic rainboom? That’s it! I know where I’ve heard that name before, you’re the element of harmony, you and your friends changed Nightmare Moon back into Princess Luna and defeated Discord! That’s so cool, it’s like you’re a celebrity or something right?” Thunder asked with a big smile on his face. “Yeah I guess so” Rainbow said, very embarrassed, “Though, it’s funny, I felt the same way about you when I found out that it was you coming here to Ponyville, big weather pegasus from Cloudsdale, I hear a lot about you when I go up there, mare’s talking about you all the time, but I never got to meet you, I’ve always been kind of a fan.” Rainbow said, extremely embarrassed at what she had just said. “You actually were a fan of me? Rainbow Dash the super fan of the Wonderbolts and element of loyalty actually cares about the work that I did?” Thunder was taken by what Dash had told him, he was now blushing quite a bit. “Yes I do! Why wouldn’t I, you’re the coolest stallion I’ve ever met, that’s why when I found out it was you who was staying in my house, I couldn’t help but be happy.” Dash said, looking deeply into Thunder’s eyes. “I’ve always looked up to you Dash, all of the things I hear about you, winning the best young fliers competition and saving Equestria, twice, you are such an amazing mare, I always wanted to meet you. I can’t believe I didn’t know it was you when I heard your name and saw you, I guess I was just too pre occupied mentally.” Thunder said as they both sat there, now looking into each other’s eyes and wondering, how they had both come together, two ponies who admired what the other had done so much, looking up to them. “You really think of me like that?” Rainbow asked, now feeling like the happiest mare in all of Equestria. “Yes, and you actually think that I’m cool? Just some lowly weather pegasus who ran out on his job because he couldn’t take his life anymore.” “Yeah, I do, I’m being honest when I say that I’m extremely happy that you’re able stay here with me.” Rainbow said, blushing profusely now, face red as can be. The two pegasus were so taken by what they had said to each other. As they sat there in silence, pondering about how to break the silence, Thunder finally broke it. “Hey uhm, Dash, I was just thinking, if you would be up to it, would you –uhmm, like to go out with me, like on a date?” Thunder asked, heart now racing and blushing deeply, luckily, his jet black fur made it harder to notice. “Y-y-you, want to go out with me? On a date? Yes! But uhm, why?” Rainbow asked, with wavering in her voice, she was so embarrassed, no pegasus dared asking her out ever, for fear that she would say no and usually she would, “Who the hell is this guy? Asking me out after knowing me for less than a day?” Rainbow though to herself, “And why did I say yes, oh god, I couldn’t help it, but he likes me.” She couldn’t help but blush even deeper as she let her mind wrap around the fact that somepony wanted to be with her, let alone it being the pony that she had a little filly’s crush on for so long. “Well, I uhm, to tell you the truth, I wasn’t planning on asking anypony out after being here for less than a day, especially after having my heart broken, I really did think I wouldn’t fall for anypony ever again, but when I met you, I don’t know why, but I could smile again and mean it.” Thunder said, with his eyes begging for Rainbow Dash to understand how difficult this was for him. “So how about we make this dinner together our first date, of hopefully many?” Thunder said, hoping desperately hoping for Dash to say yes, not just out of pity. “Yes, I’d like that, a lot, but before we start dating I’m going to tell you something a bit embarrassing.” Dash said, looking down and pawing at the ground with her hoof. “What is it? I won’t laugh or anything, I promise.” Thunder said, trying to make sure he didn’t blow it with this mare, he really fallen in love at first sight, he just didn’t want to accept it until he realized how difficult it was for him to talk to her, just like when he first met Flitter. “The reason I’ve been acting so shy around you, is cause well, uhm.” Rainbow said trying to think of a way to say she has had a crush on him ever since she saw his picture in the newspaper from Cloudsdale and now was ecstatic to have him living with her. “OH HORSE APPLES!” Rainbow screamed, so frustrated, she had never told anypony this and would even yell at her friends who would talk about her having a crush, denying it flat out. “I-I-I’ve kind of had a crush on you, for quite some time, I’ve always wanted to meet you so that I could ask you out myself, but the thought of how many mares already ask you out, because of well, you being you. When I actually met you, I couldn’t do it.” “Y-y-you’ve had a crush on me for that long? Without even meeting me?” Thunder said, surprised. This was already more attention and love that he had gotten from Flitter. After hearing this, his heart almost skipped a beat, he could hear his heart beating in his chest, even feel it, his face getting hotter, he knew he was beet red now, but he didn’t care anymore” “Yes… Oh- I knew I shouldn’t have said that, I’ve probably weirded you out, now.” Rainbow said, now with tears forming in her beautiful lavender eyes, as she thought about how she messed everything up. “No, it’s the exact opposite, I find it sweet, I used to have a marefriend, but she never really had feelings for me, she left me and broke my heart, I’ve never felt like this towards another mare since then, until I met you, but, it was something different, as if I could feel you back.” Thunder said, moving closer to Dash, and wiping the tears off of her face. “I really do like you a lot, and would love you to be my very special somepony, my Rainbow Dash.” Thunder said still moving in closer, as if he couldn’t stop. Thunder kept moving forward, until Dash closed her eyes and whispered, “I’d love to be your marefriend, your, very, very special somepony.” After saying that, she could feel her lips gently touch Thunder’s. Pulling back a little as if just being shocked, she had never kissed anypony, let alone the pony she’d had a crush on for so long. She eased back in towards Thunder, still lying down on her couch, as she felt Thunder’s lips press against her own, and feeling the heat from his face and his breath on her face, she melted inside. Thunder pushed a little more into the kiss and could even start to feel Dash’s tongue push through her lips, begging for entry into his mouth. Immediately complying with Dash’s bodies request, he let her tongue inside and greeted it with his own. This kiss grew deeper and heavier, the two pegasus, both feeling hot, and enjoying both of their first, real, true kiss, they both melted into each other. Slowly breaking apart, Thunder opened his eyes to see Dash’s eyes slowly fluttering open. She looked it his eye, with probably the sexiest look he had ever seen, and whispered, “That, was uh, something else. I think I could get used to that.” Dash said, her face red as a beet. “Yeah, hehe, so how about we go to dinner? As a couple?” Thunder said with an awkward smile. “Yeah, I’d really like that.” With that, the two pegasus, flew off together towards Ponyville again. //-------------------------------------------------------// First Dates and Minor Complications //-------------------------------------------------------// First Dates and Minor Complications Off to the diner in Ponyville, together. Thunder could finally smile again and Dash was so happy, to finally have somepony she could be with, somepony to love, her very own, very special somepony. On their way to the diner, slowly flying through the sky as the sun began setting, chatting about flying and the Wonderbolts and their adventures. Thunder learnt a lot about the adventures Dash went on with her friends, listening intently as she recalled the events, he felt almost as if he was there. “Daaashie! Daaashie! Ohh Rainbow Daash!” came a voice from below them as they entered the main square of Ponyville. The two pegasus landed in unison, and a in a flash of pink, there was a bubbly and pink curly haired earth pony right in front of them. From the stories he had heard, Thunder immediately knew this was, Pinkie Pie, the super hyper active, prankster, and element of laughter. The element of laughter fit her all too well. “Oh hi Pinkie! What are you up to?” Dash asked. “Oh nothing, just going for an after work stroll, who’s this?!?! I’ve never seen him before, what’s his name and when did you come here? Why are you with Dashie?” Pinkie said in an explosion of energy and happiness. “Woah there, settle down, I’m Thunder Flash, I’m knew here from Cloudsdale, I was in charge of thunderstorms there and I’m staying at Dash’s house, because she was so kind enough to take me in, having no place to go in all.” Thunder said, looking at Dash with a smile, which made Dash blush. “Oh oh really? If you’re new, then I’m going to have to throw you your welcome party, it’s customary that everypony receives a Pinkie style party when they move Ponyville.” Pinkie said hopping up and down with a big grin on her face. I’ll get back to you two with the details when I get everything set up, but, oh, where are you two going anyway, on a date?” Pinkie asked with a giggle, obviously meaning it as a joke, but at hearing this Rainbow stiffened like a board. “No! We’re not dating! I we’re just going to get some dinner together because he’s new to Ponyville and I didn’t want him to feel lonely.” Rainbow barked at Pinkie. “I know, I was just kidding Dashie. No need to make a fus over it, unless you aaare dating him, I mean look at your face! You’re all red, ehehe ahaha” Pinkie giggled. “Pinkiiie, stop it! I don’t want the whole town to know, I have a reputation to uphold, I can’t have everypony in town thinking that I’ve gone soft because of some stallion.” Rainbow said, in a hushed tone, so that no pony could hear her. After hearing that, Thunder was shocked and a little saddened. “Does she not want anypony to know we’re going out? Am I embarrassing her?” Thunder kept thinking to himself. Trying not to think too hard about it, he didn’t realize the sad look on his face coupled with the tears welling up in his big blue eyes. With that he just let his emotions get the best of him and took off, he didn’t care where, he just didn’t want Dash to see him cry. Dash was startled because of the gust of wind that his large wings made, as she looked over to him, she saw him take off and fly away. “Oh no! What did I do? Thunder wait! Please, come back!” Rainbow screamed with sadness in her heart that could be heard so well in her voice. “Where’s he going? What just happened? And I think I felt rain drops, it’s not supposed to rain.” Pinkie said puzzled. “I gotta go Pinkie, I’ll chat later!” Dash called out as she flew after Thunder with all of her might. He had already gained a large lead on her, just barely out of her range vision in the darkness. It didn’t help that his coat was black, she could see his vibrant mane and tail luckily. Flying as fast as she could, rivaling the speed she reached when Rarity was in trouble at the best young flyer’s competition. With a large boom and a flash of yellow light blinding her, Dash lost sight of Thunder. She couldn’t believe it, she hadn’t even gotten to the diner with her and she said something to make him run off. Dash dropped down to the ground and sat there, starting to cry, hard. “What have I done, my stupid big mouth made him run off…” Dash said sobbing, “I’m sorry Thunder! Come back, please!” Dash cried out, hoping that somehow he would hear her. Meanwhile Thunder had landed by a cottage near the edge of the Everfree forest, he landed behind it, leaning his back on it and crying silently to himself. “She’s embarrassed to be around me, it’s just the same as Flitter, I don’t want to have my heart broken again.” Thunder said, his heart already obviously in turmoil. Thunder heard rustling coming from nearby, he looked over and through his tear blurred vision he saw a yellow pony with a pink mane duck back out of sight. “Oh, *sniffle* uhmm I’m sorry, is this your house? I’ll leave, I uhm, I just, no I’ll go.” Thunder said, voice wavering. “No wait! I uhm, what’s the matter?” The very shy sounding voice came, stepping out slowly, Thunder wiped his eyes. He thought about her and what Dash had told him, this must be Fluttershy, he could tell, by her appearance and very shy demeanor. “Oh, it’s nothing, I just kind of had my heart bucked, hard.” Thunder said, sniffling. Fluttershy approached Thunder and hesitantly sat down next to him. Looking at him through the part in her mane, a little afraid, but she wanted to help. “Who did this? That is uhm, if you don’t mind me asking.” Fluttershy said softly. “Funny you should ask, it was your friend, Rainbow Dash, you see, I’m new here in Ponyville, and well do to certain events, well I ended up asking Rainbow Dash on a date, I thought we had something, she sure acted like we did, but when Pinkie came by, Dash tried denying the fact that she was on a date with me, let alone telling Pinkie not to let anypony know about it.” Thunder said, starting to sob again. “Rainbow Dash did this? Oh no, you poor thing, I’m sure Dash didn’t mean any harm by that, she just isn’t known for saying the right things at the right time.” “Please don’t take it personally uhmm, I’m sorry, but what’s your name?” Fluttershy asked, looking at you with concern in her eyes. “I’m *sniffle* Thunder Flash, I’m from Cloudsdale.” “Well, then Thunder, would you like to come inside with me? It’s awfully dark and you can stay here until you feel better.” Fluttershy offered. “Ok, thanks Fluttershy, that means a lot.” Thunder said, standing up with Fluttershy. She was much smaller than he was, but that didn’t seem to bother her to much as the both trotted inside. Still back in the streets of Ponyville, Dash lied down on the side of the road, sobbing, hating herself for what she had done. Hearing the sound of the crying, a chatting Applejack and Rarity who were passing by, trotted over to find the emotionally distraught Dash, sobbing on the side of the road. “My stars! Rainbow Dash, what are you doing here? Why are you crying? Rarity asked, astonished at the sight of the bawling pegasus. “Yeah? What happened Rainbow? What’s the matter?” Applejack added. “Oh, R-r-rarity, Applejack! I messed up big time, I was going on a date with the new pegasus in town and I said some things that I really shouldn’t have and he ran off, he looked so hurt. Please help me find him, I need to make it up him, I don’t even care if he forgives me, I just have to tell him I’m so sorry.” Rainbow said, still sobbing deeply. “You? Were on a date and messed it up? Well I’m not surprised, you aren’t exactly a romantic, are yah Rainbow? I’ll help yah look for him, what’s he look like” Applejack said reassuringly. “and I shall help to Rainbow, anything for our best friends.” Rarity chimed in. “Oh thank you so much, guys.” Rainbow said, with little hope in her heart. “He’s a large black coated pegasus with electric blue and yellow mane, deep blue eyes and some blue and yellow lightning bolts for a cutie mark.” Rainbow said, blushing at his description. “Alright, we’ll find him for you Rainbow” the two ponies said in unison as the dashed off. “Go ask Fluttershy for help to Rainbow!” Applejack called back to her. “Ok, thanks again girls.” And with that, Dash shot up into the air and flew directly towards where Thunder and Fluttershy were sitting and chatting, trying to help mend Thunder’s broken heart. When Dash got to Fluttershy’s door, she knocked on the door and yelled into her house. “Fluttershy? You home? I need your help, I screwed up my chances with a guy that I was supposed to be going on a date with by running my big mouth and I need to find him, just to tell him how sorry I am and that there’s no possible way that I would be embarrassed as his girlfriend.” Tears were still pouring from her eyes as the door slowly opened up. There stood Thunder Flash, with a red eyes and a sad look on his face. “You aren’t embarrassed to be dating me? Really?” Thunder said in disbelief, “Yeah, sure, then why did you try so hard to make sure no pony knew that we were going on a date huh?” Thunder said, with more tears still in his red eyes. “Thunder! Oh thank Celestia you’re here, please forgive me! I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean what I said, I was only embarrassed because I’ve never had a boyfriend before and I was afraid that my friends would make fun of me. It had nothing to do with you, in fact I wouldn’t want anypony to see me with anypony else except you!” Rainbow said, tears still flowing out of her eyes. “I’m kinda finding it hard to believe you Dash, you’ve really hurt me.” Thunder said, looking into Dash’s distraught eyes, as they begged him for forgiveness. “As soon as I realized what I did, I felt terrible Thunder, and when Applejack and Rarity found me crying at the side of the street, I asked them to help me find you, I told them everything, without hesitation, I really am not embarrassed by you, you’re still the coolest stallion I’ve ever met, and my heart still belongs to you.” Rainbow said, now bawling. “ Please Thunder! I never thought that I would feel this way about somepony, I don’t want to lose you, when you flew off and I lost track of you, I gave up all hope and broke down, I never want to lose you, I think I might have fallen for you, so I’m begging you, forgive me for being so stupid.” Rainbow begged. With that, Applejack and Rarity came running into Fluttershy’s house, surprising everypony in the room with their appearance. “Please Mr. Thunder Flash, Rainbow isn’t exactly the smartest when it comes to romance and relationships, please forgive her.” Rarity said to Thunder. “Yeah, Rainbow ain’t exactly the best when it comes to this stuff, please just forgive her stupidity, she really cares, she came to us bawlin’, beggin’ for us to help ‘er find you.” Applejack added. “Don’t worry, I already have forgiven her, after what she just told me, I believe her completely, I was just really hurt, and I didn’t want to have my heart broken a second time, I thought Dash was different, and boy was I right.” Thunder said, walking closer to Dash, who was lying on the ground of Fluttershy’s cabin, her face on the ground in depression. She looked up when she saw Thunders hoofs. Lifting her up with his hoof, Thunder kissed Dash passionately on the lips. With that, it was almost as if Dash was immediately lifted out of her depression in complete bliss from the kiss. “I think I might get addicted to that.” Dash said looking lovingly into Thunder’s eyes. “I really meant it, I’ve fallen for you, and your handsome face and caring attitude, not to mention your nice body.” Dash said with a blush, into Thunder’s ear. “I’ve fallen for you to Dash, that’s why I was why I couldn’t stand to hear you say things like that to Pinkie Pie. You are absolutely beautiful and I really want to be with you.” Thunder said as he kissed Dash again on the forehead. “I’m still so sorry Thunder, I really do want to be with you, more than anything, just please forget what I said?” Rainbow asked with a sad look in her eyes as she nuzzled against Thunders neck. Thunder couldn’t help but blush at the cute sight of Rainbow Dash nuzzling up against him. He blushed at the feeling of her warmth as it radiated throughout his body. “Y’know, I mean it when I say that I’ve fallen for you, I have never felt this way about anypony before.” Thunder said looking deeply into Rainbows beautiful lavender eyes. “I do know and I’ve fallen for you as well. It may seem like we’ve only known each other for so little, but it feels like I’ve known you for a life time.” Dash said as she leaned in close towards Thunder’s face, as she felt the warmth of his breath she let her eyes fall closed and as did Thunder. Their lips making contact, the two pegasus melt into each other’s warm embrace. Thunder’s large wings outstretch and wrap around Rainbow is a loving protective embrace. “Well look’at you two, just happy as can be?” Applejack said with the tip of her hat. “Aww, I’m glad you worked everything out Rainbow darling.” Rarity added and trotted off with Applejack. Breaking their kiss, Thunder yelled out to Applejack and Rarity, “Thanks for everything you two, I’m glad I finally got to meet you.” “Uhmm, I’m glad you two are happy now, and uhm, but it’s Angel’s bed time, so you kind of have to go, but uhmm, oh I-uhh, you can come back any time you want to visit ok?” Fluttershy said. “Oh, sorry Fluttershy, we’ll get out of your hair.” Rainbow said, blushing and scratching the back of her head in embarrassment. “Alright, well, do you want to go get some late night dinner before the diners close, lover boy?” Dash said with a bright shade of red across her cyan face. “For sure, I’m starved; now let’s get out of Fluttershy’s hair so she can put her bunny to bed.” Thunder said, taking off and pulling Rainbow Dash with him. “Bye Fluttershy, see you later!” Dash yelled back. “Oh! Bye Rainbow Dash! Bye Thunder!” Fluttershy said, waving her hoof. As Thunder and Rainbow left Fluttershy’s house, they heard her door close behind them and flew off towards Ponyville. “Sure you aren’t going to be embarrassed to be with me or anything?” Thunder said with a worried look on his face as he landed on the edges of Ponyville’s main square. “I’m sure, why should I be embarrassed to be with the best stallion ever?” Dash said rubbing up against Thunder as they trotted happily towards Sugar Cube corner. Taken by the compliment he just got from Dash, Thunder stopped in surprise and blushed deeply. Dash looking back towards Thunder, wondering why he stopped, had to stifle a giggle. “Oh come on Thunder, don’t tell me the Thunder Bolt of Cloudsdale never got any compliments from any mares?” Rainbow giggled. “Actually no, I never really got any compliments from anypony, let alone a beautiful mare…” Thunder said, looking down and pawing at the ground with his hoof. His face was beet red and he didn’t want Rainbow Dash to see it. He was acting particularly shy around Rainbow, even though before he hadn’t. “Well now you have me to make sure you always get compliments, alright there lover-colt? That and no need to be so shy alright? Dash said, elbowing Thunder in the side then giving him a kiss on the head. Blushing an even deeper shade of red, “thanks Dash, I’m glad I met you. Somepony who truly cares about me.” Thunder said, thoughts drifting back to Flitter, no longer feelings of despair, but he felt free from her, like he really could begin to be happy with somepony special. Before they realized it, they were at Sugar Cube Corner. Entering together, both smiling, at Mrs. Cake, who was at the counter. “What’ll it be you two? We’re closing soon, but since I know Dash is one of Pinkie’s best friends, I’ll keep the shop open for you two, so you can have your, little dinner together.” Mrs. Cake winked. “Don’t worry, Pinkie told me everything that happened and I think you to make a wonderful couple, though Rainbow Dash, I never took you for the romantic type.” “I’m not really a romantic, but I want to be with him none the less. I hope he feels the same way.” Dash said while blushing and looking up at Thunder, who was slightly taller than her. “I do Dash, no need to worry.” Thunder said, kissing Dash on the cheek. “So, Mrs. Cake, how about some dinner? What do you want Dash?” “I’ll have a salad, I need to keep healthy so I can keep training for the Wonderbolts!” Dash yelled with her hoof in the air and determination in her eyes. “Really? I’ve met the Wonderbolts a couple times, I went to flight school with Spitfire when I was a little colt and I occasionally fly around with her, of course not anymore that I’m here with in Ponyville, she’ll wonder why I left.” Thunder said, reminiscing. “You, Spitfire? Friends? How could you leave her behind like that?” Rainbow said, shocked. “I don’t know, I haven’t seen her in months, so it doesn’t matter, but I really don’t care, now that I’m here with you.” Thunder said, looking at Dash lovingly. “You would rather spend time with me then with the Wonderbolts? Dash said mouth agape. “Yeah, why wouldn’t I?” Thunder said with a smile. “You’re way cooler and a much better flying partner than them anyway.” “Really? B-b-but, me? Better? Than the Wonderbolts? You really think so??!?” Dash said, she looked ecstatic. “Yeah, I’d fly with you over them any day Dash, plus none of them are cute, like you are.” Thunder said snuggling against Dash. “Anyway, I’ll have some hay fries and a salad as well and I’ll cover the bill.” “Will do, Mr. Uhmm, I’m so sorry, what’s your name again?” Mrs. Cake said with an embarrassed smile. “My names Thunder Flash, but just call me Thunder.” He said with a grin, Dash still leaning against him, smiling widely. “Oh, alright then, I’ll be out with your food in just a moment.” Mrs. Cake said with a big smile as she trotted into the kitchen. After their meal, the two pegasus thanks Mr. and Mrs. Cake and started home. “You go on ahead of me, okay Dash? I just want to tell Twilight something. Meet’cha at home in a bit ok?” Thunder said kissing Dash on the forehead. “Oh, ok, I’ll wait up for you.” Rainbow said with a smile. Thunder trotted off to Twilights house to have a chat with her. Knocking on her door with his hoof, the door swung open, looking down, Thunder saw a little purple and green dragon standing there, looking up at him. “Can I help you?” the dragon said. “Yeah, I’m looking for Twilight, can I speak with her?” Thunder said, looking quizzically at the dragon. “Twilight! Somepony is here to see you!” The Dragon shouted “Coming Spike! Thanks!” Thunder heard Twilight shout back. Soon after, Twilight trotted up to the door and looking at Thunder with surprise. “What brings you back here Thunder? Something happen with you and Rainbow?” Twilight said with worry in her voice. “Yeah, actually something did happen, I just had something to ask about her.” “No problem, come inside.” Twilight motioned for Thunder to come in. After around 10 minutes of explaining the day’s events, Thunder finally came out and asked Twilight. “So, well, what I wanted to ask was, I think I may have fallen for Rainbow Dash, but I don’t know what to do, I’ve fallen for somepony before, and that ended terribly for me” Thunder said looking down. “I really hope that she won’t leave me, I really feel something between us, but I’m also known for being a stupid pony when it comes to love.” “I see your problem Thunder, but you really don’t need to worry, especially if Dash is reacting the way you say she is, I’ve never seen her act like that around anypony before, so she must really like you, plus she is the element of loyalty after all, I doubt she’d leave you.” Twilight said with a chuckle. “Now head home and see her, I’ve got some last minute organizing to do.” “Thanks Twilight, you’re a great friend.” Thunder said with a smirk, he gave Twilight a smile and flew out her open window as quickly as possible, sending papers everywhere. “Uugghh! Spiiike!” Twilight yelled, with an annoyed look on her face. “Come clean this up, I’ve more important things to deal with.” Thunder got home, to his new home, with Rainbow Dash. He walked in the front door and looked around, Dash was nowhere to be seen. “Thunder? Is that you?” Dash called from what seemed her room. “Yeah, it is, where are you?” He asked to be sure. “My room, come in here for a second.” Rainbow shouted back. “Alright then.” Thunder thought to himself as he trotted over to Dash’s room. When he entered, he saw Dash lying there, on her bed, with a very sexy look on her face, grinning at him. When Thunder looked at her, he couldn’t help but blush, she was a very, very attractive mare, her body was toned from all her flying and her mane was beautiful, all complimented by her breath taking lavender eyes. That must have sucked royally; well at least you had friends there to keep you company.” Dash said, starting to feel bad for Thunder. She had thought that he was living it up in Cloudsdale until now. Dash had no idea what Thunder’s life really was like before he moved to Ponyville. “Well, heh, you see, the thing is, I never really had any friends, and I spent most of my life alone, just going to work, then home to eat and sleep.” Thunder said looking down, “So I decided to give up my so called life and leave. It just so happened that Celestia gave me an offer to come here and she would take care of my living arrangements.” “She did all of that for you? That’s so nice of her to do that and I’m even more grateful now because I get to be with you.” Dash said, walking over and snuggling against Thunder. “Well, I don’t have to deal with weather today, so how about we spend some time together, just you and me, no pony else.” Dash said, gently kissing Thunder’s neck, sending shivers down his spine. They were bigger than most Pegasus, and created a large gust of wind when he flapped them. He took off, grabbing Dash by the hoof and lifting her into the air with a spin, almost as if they were slow dancing in the sky. “I’m so happy to have somepony to love.” Thunder said nuzzling Dash. “I won’t ever leave you Thunder.” Dash said with a smile. The two pegasus arrived at the lake side and sat down. Thunder trotted over to the lake and stepped in slowly, it was the perfect temperature, nice and warm. Dash soon followed after, swimming over to Thunder and kissing him deeply while the floated in the water. Thunder smiled and dove under water and surfaced, his wet mane covered his face, shaking his head, and he could see Dash again. Thunder smiled at Dash giggled. Dash dove under as well, and then re surfaced. “Woah, you look really sexy with your mane all wet Dash.” Thunder said blush beet red. “Hehe, thanks, you look good with your mane wet to." Both pegasus where clearly in love, even after one would consider such a short time, but time did not matter to them, they were happy and no pony could stop that. After a quick bite to eat and a nice walk home in the dimly lit streets of Ponyville, Dash and Thunder finally reached home and flew up to the top and in threw the window. “Hey do you want to go up into the clouds and watch the stars for a bit? It sounds like it would be very romantic.” Dash said with an awkward smile as she nudged Thunder with her nose. “Yeah, quality time with just you in the sky, alone, nothing but you, me and the stars.” Thunder said with a sigh of happiness, “That does sound good, really good to me indeed.” The two pegasus stretched their wings and soared out the window and into the clouds above Dash’s house. Thunder and Dash laid together in the fluffy white clouds, gazing up at the beautifully lit black sky, riddled with stars, large and small. It was a truly a sight to be remember, then a flash of light soared across the sky, it was a shooting star. Thunder, nor Dash, had ever seen one before even with all of the time they spent in the air at night, soaring above the clouds. Thunder couldn’t take his eyes off of all the twinkling lights in the sky, until finally; he got a sudden urge to look towards Dash. When he did he saw that she was looking at him, instead of the sky. “We’re all alone up hear, no pony around, do you want to have a little more fun, I think I’ve got enough energy back from last time.” Dash said, her face was already looking heated, just the same as the rest of her sexy athletic body. Thunder poked his head out of the water and looked up to see Dash fly straight at the water and fold her wings in last second, she sped into the water and flew back out like a torpedo. The two happy ponies swam about the lake for an hour or so, having a great time. “So, when are we going to get some breakfast?” Thunder asked after his stomach made a loud groaning sound. “Let’s go now, we can go to Sugarcube Corner and give Pinkie a visit. I’m sure she’ll find something good for us to eat.” Dash suggested, unusually cheery, “I can’t wait to get something to eat, I’m starved! And it’ll be nice to see Pinkie again, she’s always a riot!” Dash was now flying a couple feet above the ground, with a very large grin on her face. “Wow Dash, you seem so happy, why the huge attitude change?” Thunder asked quite curious as to why Dash was so unusually happy. “You’re usually so cool and bold about everything. Thunder and Rainbow made their way to Sugarcube corner and entered the store. They were greeted by a group “Rainbow Dash! Thunder Flash!” All of Rainbow’s friends were there, Applejack tipped her hat, Pinkie jumped onto Dash, Fluttershy was smiling shyly, Rarity winked at Thunder which surprised him a little, but he knew she was a flirt and finally Twilight ran up and hugged Thunder, they had become the closest because she had really helped him out with Dash and with his own mind. They really were all the best friends Dash could have asked for and now they accepted him as Dash’s boyfriend. Thunder really started to feel as though he was becoming friends with all 6 of them, and most particularly Dash, his lover. Rainbow Dash, the brash and bold rainbow mane pegasus, fastest flier in Equestria and also the sexiest pony Thunder had ever met. Dash was so perfect in Thunder’s eyes, he loved everything about her, her alluring lavender eyes and her sleek and athletic muscular body, she not only beautiful, but down right sexy. All of Dash’s friends were very good looking mare’s but Dash was by far the best looking. Usually when you have time off you’re practicing for the Wonderbolts or some other thing of the sort?” Rarity said smiling devilishly. “Don’t tell me you to were, you know?” Rarity was very smart when it came to other ponies and she knew immediately. “Doing what? What?!?!?” Pinkie said bouncing around the room giggling. “Yeah sugarcube, mind tellin’ us what you two were up to all day?” Applejack said, now starting to get interested. “Now, now you girls, this is their personal life, we don’t need to be meddling.” Twilight stepped in. “Oh come now Twilight, darling, we all know that they were busy all day doing nasty things together, come on? Why wouldn’t they? I know I would if I had my own handsome stallion alone to myself all day.” Rarity said, with a sly grin on her face. “Rarity! Don’t say things like that! That’s such inappropriate conversation for ponies at a restaurant.” Twilight spoke up, “Plus, I’ve said it once before and I’ll say it again, this is their personal life and they can do whatever they want!” “Oh alright Twilight darling, but you know it’s true.” Rarity gave her hair a flip as she headed for the door, “Well I must be going everypony, it was great seeing you all, and you to Thunder” Rarity winked. “Bye Rarity!” The group of ponies said in unison “Well I guess we better get going now to, it’s getting late” Dash said, “I’ve got to conjure up a doozy of a storm tomorrow bright and early.” “Alrighty there, I guess I’ll be seein’ ya’ll around sometime soon after.” Applejack said, tipping her hat and bowing. “Bye Applejack, I’ll be sure to visit you tomorrow when Dash is busy with the weather for some of those delicious apples of yours, that I’ve been so unfortunate enough as to not have had any by now.” Thunder said with a laugh. “Aww shucks you, I’ll have a big batch of appletastic treats for you to try y’hear?” “Okay! Sounds good to me!” Thunder was smiling brightly, “See you all around soon everypony, bye” Thunder and Rainbow Dash left the shop after saying there good byes and flew back to Dash’s house. Once home, Dash immediately went into the room and went to sleep. “Not coming to bed handsome?” Dash asked seductively “Naw, not that tired, I’ll join you later.” Thunder had other things on his mind. Thunder stayed on Rainbow’s couch until he was sure she was asleep, and from there he took off, out the window and onto the roof of Dash’s house, lying down and relaxing on the cloud house’s soft roof. Letting his thoughts wonder, he finally came to after around a half an hour of day dreaming, he looked up to see some clouds that had drifted from the nearby Everfree forest. Spreading his very large wings, he soared up into the sky, with an intent on surprising Dash when she woke up. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Day With The Wonderbolts //-------------------------------------------------------// A Day With The Wonderbolts It was still the middle of the night, and Thunder soared up into the clouds above Dash’s house, he looked around and noticed Cloudsdale above him, he thought to himself, “I hope they’re still doing their late night practices.” Thunder reached the edge of Cloudsdale, he flew up high above Cloudsdale and looked around, hoping he would find them, the Wonderbolts, the group that Rainbow Dash admired oh so much and aspired to join. Thunder aimed to get Rainbow and him a day with them, he was fan himself, but Rainbow was total fanfilly over them. As Thunder looked around he saw exactly what he was looking for, three streams of smoke at the ends of three blue and yellow clad pegasus soaring out of some clouds at the other end of Cloudsdale. “Now’s my chance, Soarin, Spitfire and Fleetfoot are still awake.” Thunder could easily tell them apart due to Fleetfoot and Soarin’s size as well as Spitfire’s bright flaming red mane. With a great flap of his wings, he was off, speeding towards the Wonderbolts, turning slowly to match their direction but still moving fast enough to catch up with them. One more powerful flap of his large black wings and *BOOM!*, Thunder flew at double the speed towards the Wonderbolts with a trail of lighting behind him. Catching up to them in mere seconds he slowed down, and was now flying backwards in front of them. The Wonderbolts halted in surprise, “Holy shit!” Spitfire yelled. “Don’t jump out in front of us like that, almost scared the feathers off me.” “Sorry Spitfire, I just had a question for you guys” Thunder said smiling awkwardly and scratching his head in embarrassment. “Wait a minute, I know that voice, black fur and huge wings…” Spitfire got close to Thunder, very close, circling him. Thunder could feel her hoof brush over his mane. “Why if it isn’t the Lighting Bolt of Cloudsdale, Thunder Flash, I haven’t seen you since back at flight school.” Thunder had gone to flight school with Soarin and Spitfire and was good friends, but they haven’t seen much of each other since they became famous and he joined the elite weather team. “Soarin, look! It’s our old buddy Thunder!” “Hehehey Thunder! I haven’t seen you in forever! Holy crap your wings got big, you were always teased for being so big, but Spitfire and I thought it was cool.” Soarin laughed, “Hey Fleetfoot, this is the colt I was telling you that you should go out with, he’s huge and you’re small, it will be adorable in comparison” Soarin stifled a giggle. “Shut up Soarin!” Fleetfoot said, smacking him in the rib cage. “I don’t want to date anypony right now, even if they are cute.” She said blushing. “Enough yammering, what brings you by here? I thought you’d be out working with the weather team, there’s supposed to be a big storm brewing in about two hours.” Spitfire questioned. “Naw, I quit there a couple days ago, I live in Ponyville, the Princess arranged for me to stay with a pegasus named Rainbow Dash and well, now I’ve kinda fallen for her.” Thunder said, cheeks turning crimson. “That raises further questions, what happened to Flitter whatshername? Last I checked you were head over heels in love with her.” Soarin said confused. “She broke up with me, kind of tore my heart out, I was depressed for quite a while. That’s why I left Cloudsdale to start a new life and that’s when I met Rainbow Dash.” “Wait Rainbow Dash? Isn’t she that Rainbow mane filly that won the best young fliers competition?” Spitfire asked. “And she saved my pie, I owed her a dance at the royal wedding for doing that for me heheh” Soarin laughed. “Yeah, she’s asleep back at home and I wanted to surprise her with a day of flying with you guys, she is your biggest fan after all.” Thunder said, “it would mean a lot to her.” “For you Thunder? Anything, as long as you promise to come visit us more, we’ve got some catching up to do.” Spitfire winked. “For sure, could you three come down to Ponyville in the morning, say around 6? Dash has to get up and clear the Clouds at 7, so I want to get it done early and have some time to hang out with you guys, like the good ol’ days before she wakes up to her big surprise. “Sure thing, we’ll be there at 6:00am sharp.” Spitfire said. “Actually I can’t make it, I promised a friend I’d go out with her tomorrow, and I don’t want to ditch her.” Fleetfoot said. “Aww that’s fine Fleetfoot, Soarin and Spitfire are enough I guess.” Thunder said, “nice getting to meet you though, and by the way, your pretty cute yourself.” Fleetfoot turned beet red in surprise, luckily her suit hid the fact that her face was turning an embarrassing shade of red. “Aww don’t tease her like that, she’s shy around stallions she likes” Spitfire joked. Fleetfoot jumped when she heard Spitfire say that, like she had been shocked. “I gotta go. Sorry, Nice meeting you Thunder, good practice guys.” With that, Fleetfoot Dashed off with her legendary speed. “Wow, she’s fast…” Thunder said still giggling. “But she really can’t take a joke can she?” “I don’t think so! Ahah!” Soarin laughed. “Alright we’ll be there in the morning Thunder, see’ya buddy.” And with that, Soarin and Spitfire flew off towards Cloudsdale. Thunder smiled and thought to himself it’s nice to talk to friends, I almost forgot how much fun it was around those two. Thunder flew back to Ponyville and began the process of clearing the clouds out of Ponyville. He was done in about twenty minutes then headed back to his home with Dash. His home, it still felt weird saying that his home is with Dash, but he was happy and sure that it would become the norm. Thunder fell asleep on the couch and woke up, around 5:30am; he had been sleeping a lot the past 2 days and was very well rested. He went outside and went for an early morning jog, after 20 minutes or so, he looked to the sky and saw Spitfire and Soarin, flying down from Cloudsdale, not in uniform. The two out of uniform Wonderbolts landed in Ponyville next to Thunder. Spitfire leaned over and hugged Thunder tightly, Thunder returned the hug. Soarin hoof bumped Thunder and the three trotted off towards Dash’s house. “Shh, she’s still asleep, I’ll go wake her up, you guys wait here, and she’s going to love this for sure.” Thunder said, trying not to laugh in excitement. As he approached the door to Dash’s and now his room, he pushed the cloud door open, peering into the Dark room. He walked slowly into the room, the light from the halls painted the room with colour, he could see all of Dash’s knick knacks, like her crown from the best young fliers competition and a mannequin horse with her gala dress on it. Then there was Dash in her bed under the covers, nights were starting to get cool, he trotted over, he could barely see the covers move up and down from her soft breaths and sleeping face. Thunder trotted over to her sleeping body and leant over her and gave her a kiss on the cheek, and whispered, “Hey Dash, wake up.” Dash opened her eyes and looked sleepily at Thunder, blinking a couple times before smiling then kissing him gently on the lips, whispering quietly, “Morning lover-colt.” She gently nuzzled against her lovers face and asked him softly, “what time is it? Remember, I have to clear the clouds at 7:00.” Rainbow was acting very lovey dovey and out of character, it couldn’t have been a more perfect time for this to happen. “Come with me ok Dash? I have something to show you.” Thunder said, lifting Dash out of bed and helping her to her hoofs. “What is it? I’m too tired!” Dash complained. “Just come with me okay?” Thunder lead Dash into the hall and into the kitchen where Soarin and Spitfire stood, with big grins on their faces. “Hey there Rainbow, been awhile hasn’t it?” Spitfire said with happy expression. “Yeah, been a while” Dash said, not fully aware of who was in her house. Dash finally looked up, he mouth dropped open, “Ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmygosh, th-th-the W-W-Wonderbolts, are in m-m-my house! How? Why?” “You can thank your coltfriend here, he came and found us last night during one of our late night practices and asked us if we wanted to come spend the day with him and you.” Soarin said with a laugh. “But, why would you guys just say yes to come hang out with Thunder? I mean he’s great and everything, but isn’t that just a little strange? Not that I’m questioning a good thing, I’m just a little curious is all.” Dash was so flustered. “How could we turn down an offer from our oldest friend from flight school, we went to flight school a year before you did, so you never really met any of us” Spitfire chimed in cheerfully. “You guys were friends? Why didn’t you tell me Thunder?” Dash said confused and happy at the same time. “Well, y’know I’ve been going through so much lately it hasn’t crossed my mind that I would have needed to tell you, plus I haven’t seen them in years.” Thunder said, “Well anyway, they came to spend the day with us.” “The whole day? Oh my gosh!” Rainbow said, her eyes gleaming, “Oh but I have to clear the clouds soon.” She added solemnly. “Don’t worry Dash, I already took care of that, I went and visited them and arranged everything late last night then went home and cleared the clouds early before I went to bed.” Thunder said, hoping Dash would appreciate it. “Owhh, I can’t believe you did this.” Dash said, her eyes welling up with tears as she stared intently at Thunder. “Oh Dash, I’m sorry, I thought you’d be happy, please don’t cry.” Thunder said, taking a step towards Dash hesitantly. “Thank you so much! It means more to me than anything!” Dash ran towards Thunder and tackled him to the ground and pushed her lips firmly against his. Thunder was confused as to what just happened but wouldn’t question a good thing. “You’re welcome Dash, I’d do anything for you.” “Aww, that’s so sweet.” Spitfire said tilting her head to the side. “So what do you guys want to do, well not to interrupt your moment though.” She was stifling a laugh Thunder and Dash managed to get themselves up and Dash spoke up “how about we go do some flying now?” “Woah there Dash, you just woke up, don’t you think it’d be better if we all went out and grabbed some food?” Thunder said, feeling like a buzz kill. “Hehe, oh yeah, I am pretty hungry, I guess we should go get some grub, you guys hungry too?” Dash asked? “I’m always hungry!” Soarin spoke up, obviously excited at the mention of food. “Oh god Soarin, we know.” Spitfire said with a giggle. “Yeah I could go for a bite though, I haven’t eaten this morning either.” The four pegasus flew down the ground beneath Dash’s cloud house and started their walk towards Ponyville. Soarin and Thunder walked in front and chatted about old time back in flight school while Spitfire and Dash walked behind, holding a rather girly conversation for such athletic mares. “Y’know Dash, you’re one lucky mare.” Spitfire said, looking at Dash secretively. “I guess I am, I have a wonderful coltfriend who managed to get me a full day with 2 of the Wonderbolts.” Dash said brashly. “No not just that, I mean look at him, he’s big strong, has nice big wings and is very good looking, and yet all the years I knew him I never saw him with anypony except the one pony who broke his heart, and because of that he told me that he thought he was never going to love again.” “I never knew that! I wonder why he never told me.” Dash thought out loud. “It was probably something he didn’t want to dwell on, or that he thought it might hurt his chances with you.” Spitfire said consolingly. “But in all honesty, he’s a good looking stallion, you’re lucky that he decided to be with you, I mean even I had a crush on him for a bit back when we were little, but now I have Soarin, well kinda, I just gotta try and let him know that I have feelings for him, too bad his top priority is food.” “Even you liked him? Oh no, what do I do? I really don’t want to lose him to somepony else.” Dash said worriedly. “Don’t worry Dash, I just liked him, what you and Thunder have is mutual love for each other, much more different, you can really tell with each other, you two are really concerned with the others emotion and well-being.” Spitfire said, with envy in her voice. “I really am happy to be with Thunder, I honestly never thought I would be with anypony let along Thunder Flash, the Lighting Bolt of Cloudsdale. I’ve kind of always had a crush on him, but I was afraid to say anything, then when Twilight asked if he could live with me, I kind of got all shy and afraid of him, that is until he asked me out” Dash was now a bright shade of red. The four pegasus made their way toward the local café and all sat down to order, after a hardy breakfast Dash shot out of her chair and yelled “Can we go do something now? I’m bored!” “Wow, she really is energetic isn’t she?” Spitfire asked “Yeah, I guess, but I think it’s more excitement about getting to spend the day with you guys, her idols.” Thunder said with a smile. “and I’m happy to be hanging out with you guys again, it’s been far too long.” “Yeah it has!” Soarin yelled putting his foreleg around Thunder’s shoulder. “Let’s go hit the lake! I haven’t gotten to go swimming in forever!” “Dash, do you want to go for a swim?” Thunder asked. “Actually I was kind of hoping that we could go flying and maybe a race or something.” “How about a race to the lake?” Spitfire suggested. “Done, that sounds great!” Dash said with a big grin, she was feeling almost giddy, hopefully she’d be able to show the Wonderbolts her stuff and maybe they’d let her join. “Alright, on my mark, you ready everypony? Get set!” The four were all crouched down, ready to blast off into the sky at a moment’s notice, “GO!” With that, the four pegasus simultaneously shot off the ground with Spitfire in front and Soarin right behind, Thunder and Rainbow were both tied with Soarin. The lake was a good ways away and gave everypony equal chances of winning. Dash pushed as hard as she could, then *BOOM* of course, a sonic rainboom, Dash took off past the group of pegasus and soared towards the lake. “Well time for us all to step it up a notch eh?” Thunder said to Spitfire who he seemed to keep up with effortlessly. Though she also looked as though she wasn’t trying, and same with Soarin. “Yep, let’s kick it up a notch for sure!” Spirtfire said with a grin. Her speed almost tripled, leaving a smoky trail behind her, she looked as though she was a ball of fire, soaring through the skies. Soarin was right behind, he looked back and said, “see you later Thunder!” “Not so fast! I aim to win!” Thunder said, flapping his large and powerful wings as hard and as fast as he could. *BOOM* a thunderous boom crackled across the sky, louder than any crash he had ever made, bright lighting emanated from Thunder as he shot forward, his body jumping around in zig zag patterns almost instantly catching up with Soarin and Spitfire who were gaining on Dash, Thunder decided he was going to do his own signature move, one that only he can pull off, and no pony had seen it before, they all thought it was a natural anomaly. Thunder pulled himself up as hard as he could and he soared towards the bright blue sky of Equestria, in no time as all he must have been a good thirty thousand feet into the air, turning forward on a downward angle towards the lake, he shot down at almost five times the speed, coming in so fast the sky began to light up a bright yellow, it sounded as if there was an enormous lightning storm. Thunder’s zig zag pattern stopped and he was careening towards the lake at full speed, until he went silent, to other ponies around Ponyville, all they saw was a giant lightning bolt hit the lake, the large streak was surrounded in rings of electricity, it was a sight to behold, even if it was there for only three seconds or so. To Thunder, everything was moving at normal speed, the adrenaline in his blood made his reaction time good enough to be able to perceive and react to his surroundings. He could see Dash at the end of her giant rainbow streak almost at the lake, with Spitfire and Soarin right behind. Thunder came smashing down towards the ground splitting the air molecules of the sky, his body was heating up immensely, until. Dash looked at the lake up ahead, then what looked like a lightning bolt hit it, the splash it created must have been at least 200 feet high. Dash Soarin and Spitfire all came to a stop and watched in shock, they all looked behind to see that Thunder was no longer behind them. “Where, is, Thunder?” Dash said between hard breaths. “Wasn’t he, behind you guys?” “Yeah he was, he yelled something about aiming to win before I lost sight of him, all I heard was a thunderous explosion behind me and then I don’t know I was focused on winning.” Soarin said, with concern in his voice, “I hope he’s ok.” “Let’s go look down by the lake, I have a feeling that big splash was his big ass crashing into the lake.” Spitfire said, with a grin. “How? That couldn’t have been him, that was lightning.” Rainbow said confused. “There’s no way he could have passed us, he was so far behind!” “Well, I can almost guarantee that it was him, I’m sure you’re aware that he makes a streak of lightning when he gets to top speed, well when he dives down from the clouds, he moves at the speed of light, using the charge from the air in the clouds, he gets blasted towards the ground, and well, that energy needs to go somewhere, so it went into the lake.” “How do you know that?” Dash said baffled as to what she was just told. “Well, I went out to watch him practice while we were at flight school. It was almost like a nightly routine, though he didn’t know that I did that hehehe.” Spitfire’s face was started to turn pink. “Well then what are we waiting for I need to see if he’s ok!” Dash said as she sped off towards the lake with Soarin and Spitfire right behind her. They arrived at the lake to see Thunder floating two feet above the water, right in the middle of the lake. He had small bolts of lightning shooting off of his body and the water beneath him was spinning slowly and evaporating, forming a mist around him. “Holy shit Thunder! You scared the hell outta me!” Dash said flying towards Thunder, tackling him into the water. “Please don’t scare me like that again Dash said while the two floated together in the lakes center. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you, but if you must know, I’m fine, I can do that move easily I’ve already perfected it.” “Just please don’t scare me like that! I was worried something had happened.” Dash said “And don’t y-“ She was cut off by Thunder’s lips pressed against hers. Dash melted into the warm kiss and when it broke, she could only say “You suck” before pushing herself against him and stealing another kiss. “You guys ok!” Spitfire yelled from the shore. Dash and Thunder broke their kiss and simultaneously waved to Spitfire, “Ya we’re ok!” Thunder yelled. Heading towards the shore, Dash and Thunder were met half way by Spitfire and Soarin jumping into the water. “Wow, the water is so beautiful and refreshing!” Spitfire said, absolutely mesmerized by the fresh water, though it was getting close to fall the weather would start to get cold at night but still remain rather hot during the day. “Yeah, Thunder and I come here quite often because the water is just so perfect.” Dash said smiling at Spitfire. Soarin flew out of the water up around a hundred feet or so then dove back into the water making a pretty big splash. “Ahah! This is great to have some time off practicing and going to events, I missed being able to relax and just do nothing all day!” Soarin said as he swam in circles around the group. Thunder couldn’t help but notice that Spitfire looked quite sexy with her mane all wet, but still nothing compared to his lovers amazing looks and body to compliment her brash and bold athletic personality. Thunder flew out of the water and scooped up Dash under her forelegs, “hey what are you doing!” Dash yelled through a laugh. Thunder threw Dash into the air, causing her to do multiple back flips until he caught her, holding her, cradled in his forelegs like a little foal. “What are you doing Thunder” Dash said, still giggling, very out of character. Thunder dove back into the water with Dash in his forelegs, she screamed a very girly scream as the crashed into the water. When they both emerged she looked at him with a smile and started laughing, “Well that was a pretty cute scream.” Spitfire said with a mischievous grin. “Ahah, oops, I just got a little scared.” Rainbow said. “I thought you were fearless” Soarin said with a mocking tone. “I am! Just today is an off day, I’m just having some fun!” Dash was now embarrassed. The group of four continued to play in the lake for another couple hours then headed back for a late dinner at Sugarcube Corner. After dinner they said their good byes and Spitfire gave Rainbow and Thunder a hug then they both flew off. “Thank you so much Thunder, this has been the best day of my entire life, I got to hang out with the Wonderbolts together with the love of my life.” Dash hugged Thunder tightly in front of her house before they went inside. “I’m freakin’ exhausted, let’s hit the hay, I need some sleep after all that’s happened today on top of getting little sleep last night.” Thunder sighed with a smile on his face. He entered Dash’s room and got to the edge of the bed before he was tackled into the bed, feeling hooves run along his sides and up his wings that were up in surprise. Thunder let out a moan of pleasure, with a shudder. “Tonight, before you go to bed, I’m going to give you a thank you gift for all of your work in setting this up.” Dash said, with a hungry look in her eyes. She began kissing down Thunder’s back, licking the base of his wings slowly. Dash flipped thunder over onto his back and began kissing down his chest onto his stomach and finally to his colthood which was now standing fully erect, she placed her mouth around the tip, licking it slowly and playfully. “How does this feel? Hmm?” Dash asked with such lust in her voice. “That feels amazing Dash” Thunder said, breathing heavily. Unable to contain himself Thunder flipped Dash over and pinned her down and she let out a little squeal. “I can’t help it anymore Dash, no matter how tired I am, I’ll probably have enough energy for this.” Thunder plunged his member into Dash’s marehood. Thunder was truly starting to feel as though he was truly a member of the Ponyville community and the welcome party that Pinkie had been planning for the entire 2 weeks since he’d been here was today, she apologized to him about not having one sooner but she had been really busy with helping the cakes. Thunder told her it was no big deal, he wasn’t exactly fond of parties, in saying that, he knew it was mistake immediately after when she went off about how it’s impossible to not like parties. So for the sake of his sanity Thunder decided to go. The party wasn’t for another 6 hours and Thunder had just gotten home after patrolling the edge of the Everfree forest; he truly did feel like he could call it home now. Stepping into the front door Thunder calls out “Hey Dash, I’m back from patrolling the boarder of the Everfree forest! You home?” There was no answer. Stepping inside, he heard a *thunk*, looking down he saw his goggles he wore when dealing with weather on the floor with the strap torn in half… “Great, now I need a new strap for these, well I guess I could pay Rarity a visit, see if she has an extra leather strap lying around.” He spoke to himself in an irritated tone. Just wanting to relax, he reluctantly turned around goggles in his saddlebag; he flew in the direction of Carousel Boutique. Thunder arrived with a graceful drop to the ground in front of the store making no sound, pegasus are light on their hoofs after all, no matter how big they are. Pushing the front door open he heard a bell ring and the sound of trotting somewhere in the back rooms. “I’ll be with you in a moment dear!” he heard Rarity call. “Take as long as you need Rarity, I’m in no real hurry, mind if I come back there and say hello at least?” Thunder said, knowing that he was now pretty close with all of Rainbows friends. “Thunder Flash? Is that you? Oh why of course darling, come in!” Rarity said with a sudden change in attitude to a much more chipper tone. “Rarity, I was just wondering if you could fix my goggles for me. The leather strap snapped and they were a gift from my dad, they mean a lot to me, being the only connection I have left to him and all.” Thunder’s father had just recently passed away before he left to Ponyville, he never knew his mother, so they had grown very close. “Why of course dear! Anything for a close friend of mine, especially Rainbow’s other half” she said as mockingly as possible. “Hah, thanks Rarity, how much do I owe you for a new strap? I finally have some money from my job with Dash, hehe” Thunder was scratching his head in embarrassment. “Oh that’ll be 2 bits, but for you free, because you’re such a handsome stallion and these goggles just look so good on you.” Rarity said as she walked by, still focused on her worked she brushed her tail under Thunder's chin, wrapping around his head and slowly sliding off. Shaking his head trying to get the smell of Rarity out of his nose, she smelt good, really good. “Rarity I really don’t want to impose, I have money now, so I wouldn’t want to hurt your business just because we’re friends.” “Oh nonsense!” Rarity said, walking slowly over, she put her hood on Thunder’s lip and moved close, “Now now, just accept the gift as a token of my gratitude that you have let Rainbow Dash and all of us into your life.” She was now almost an inch away from his face. Thunder gulped and stepped back nervously, “So that’ll be 2 bits right?” “No, like I said, it’s a gift, from me to you, now let me get it, I’ll even put it on the goggles for you.” Rarity trotted off, after a couple seconds she was back with a small leather strip in her mouth. Thunder grabbed his goggles out of his saddlebag and placed them on the table, “Thanks Rarity, it means a lot” Thunder was still feeling uncomfortable, blushing profusely. Rarity floated his goggles over to her with her magic, as well as the strip of leather, Thunder watched as she skillfully and almost effortlessly slid the broken pieces of leather out and onto the table and the new one into place, making it look almost brand new. Thunder was ecstatic to see his goggles looking brand new again, “Thanks Rarity! It looks great!” Thunder jumped over and hugged Rarity and pulled her into the air, floating a couple feet above the ground. “You’re very welcome Thunder, and might I say, you are quite strong, look at your muscles my dear.” Rarity said, prodding at Thunder’s stomach. “I’m only like this because I’m out so often, it’s not like I try.” Thunder said modestly “Oh but it really looks like it!” Rarity said, walking around Thunder, looking at every inch of his body. She ran her hoof along his side and grazed over his wing, causing him to shudder. “I’m going to go now, Rainbow is probably waiting for me.” Thunder said, trying to get out of there before Rarity did something more drastic. “Good bye Thunder Flash, I really do hope to see your handsome face around sometime soon” Rarity teased. Thunder sighed with relief, happy to be out of that very uncomfortable situation, Thunder trots out into the streets of Ponyville only to hear his name called by an overly familiar voice, one that brings good memories back, yet rips at his heart. “Thunder! Turning to see Flitter Breezeheart, his ex, staring at him from across the street with a smile on her face, she trotted over to Thunder happily. “Thunder! Where have you been? I hadn’t seen you around Cloudsdale for the past 2 weeks and when I asked your boss where you were, he said he got a letter of resignation from the Princess in your name.” Flitter said confused, “When I was walking down the street yesterday evening I saw Soarin and Spitfire and they told me they had just spent the day with you down here in Ponyville!” “Yeah, I asked them to come spend the day with me and my girlfriend Rainbow Dash” Thunder said embarrassed. “You left home and came here and got a new girlfriend? Oh…” She seemed disappointed, “You see, Thunder, after we broke up, I started missing you and even began to think about how much I miss treated you, not really being there for you. I miss you Thunder, I really was insensitive and… I want you back; I’m still in love with you! Will you please take me back?” she was almost begging, the look in her eyes were desperate. “Sorry Flitter, I don’t have feelings for you anymore, I’m in love with another mare and she loves me back and cares for me unconditionally.” Thunder stepped back away from Flitter. “Please Thunder! I want you back, I miss you so much!” She yelled as she jumped at him, tackling him to the ground. “Hey Flitter stop! I said I don’t love you!” Thunder yelled out. All of a sudden, Flitter was knocked off of Thunder and onto the ground. “Get off of him!” Dash yelled angrily, she was pawing at ground like a bull ready to charge. “Don’t you dare lay a single hoof on Thunder.” “Dash! Oh thank goodness you’re here; let’s just go home please, I just want to be alone with you to relax.” Thunder was looking worried. “One minute, who in the hoof is this mare and why was she pinning you down like that?” Dash sounded furious and confused. “This is Flitter Breezeheart, the mare who tore out my heart before I met you and she was just telling me that she wants me back.” Thunder said, still emotionally distraught from having to see his heart breaker again. “Oh, this is the mare that put you through that much pain” Dash said with words that stung like venom, she was disgusted by her presence. “I don’t think you get it missy, you had your chance with him and you blew it and hurt him, I don’t want to see you around him ever again, Thunder and I are in love and I couldn’t stand to see this caring and loving colt to go through any pain anymore, so I won’t ever let you interfere with our life together.” “You’ll always be second to me! I was his first girlfriend, I was the first pony he said that he loves, and he’ll never truly love you as much as he loves you.” Flitter said, with tears in her eyes. “Shut up Flitter! I don’t love you at all, you’ve caused me so much grief, and you’re nothing to me now! Just leave me alone! I love Dash so much, she is kind, loyal, beautiful and loves me, that’s more than you in every aspect” Thunder screamed, tears were in his eyes, he couldn’t stand to hear Dash be yelled at by the girl who now has caused him to feel so much anger towards. “Flitter, I’m sorry, but you neglected me and even avoided me, I don’t know why I even had feelings for you, but I’m with Dash, and she has stolen my heart.” Flitter got up and started walking away, “I guess it was a waste of time for me to come here.” Flitter wiped some tears away with her hoof, “I’m sorry that I’ve hurt you so much Thunder, I didn’t think I did hurt you that badly.” “You did Flitter, please leave” Thunder said, trying not to be rude anymore, feeling a little bad for shouting. “Thunder, you don’t still have feelings for her do you?” Dash said, looking up to him worriedly. “Of course not, you’re the only thing that’s on my mind, I love you so much Rainbow Dash, and you are the only thing I’ll ever love.” Thunder brought Dash close and kissed her passionately, “I’m so glad I have you Dash” “Of course you are, ‘cause I’m so awesome!” Dash said, poking herself in the chest, “But I’m really glad I have you to Thunder, I feel so comfortable around you, like I don’t need to worry what anypony thinks at all, nothing bothers me.” “I’m so glad you feel comfortable around me, I’m not going to lie, and I felt nervous for the first while being around you, since you’re so popular and everypony knows you as this amazing mare.” Thunder said pawing at the ground, “I-I-I actually really like your attitude, your always so brash and bold, taking life head on, like what you did with Flitter, without giving a second thought as to who she was, you threw her off me, I saw so much fire in your heart, you really care.” “Oh-pfft, of course I care Thunder, you’re my lover-colt” Dash said brushing her hoof across Thunders chest, “In all honesty I thought you were too cool for me, that’s why I was nervous around you as well, I guess we were both pretty shy to be around the ponies we had crushes on.” “Yeah, who would have thought we both had feelings for each other without the other knowing.” Thunder face began to heat up. “Yeah, I’m in love you for sure, the coolest and sexiest stallion in all of Equestria is all mine.” Dash said with a coy sly grin. Moving up close to Thunder and kissing his neck gently she whispered “I love you so much.” “I love you to Dash!” Thunder said nuzzling against Dash’s soft fur, “Think we could head home now? I’m exhausted and I just want to relax.” “Sure, as long as we have the rest of the day to ourselves!” Dash said floating a couple feet into the air flapping her wings happily. Thunder and Dash trotted home, even though Thunder was still a little uneasy about his encounter with Flitter. As they walked into their home Dash noticed that Thunder was looking conflicted, as if he had a lot on his mind, “Are you ok Thunder? You don’t look so good, is this cause of Flitter?” “Yeah, I guess so, I just can’t believe she would come all this way, just to try and get me back, I mean, I gave my heart to her and she ignored me, not caring at all, I’m just so confused” “I really hate that mare, who does she think she is? Coming into your life like this after hurting you like that.” Dash was furious at Flitter, she stomped her hoofs down in anger. “I hope I never see her face again, or I don’t know what I’ll do, this is the first time I’ve been this happy and I don’t want it ruined ‘nor do I want you to ever go through anything like that again.” “Thanks Dash, it means a lot to me that you care this much” Thunder said, blushing a deeper shade of red. “Bahaha, you’re blushing, that’s adorable!” Dash laughed, “I’ve never really noticed it when you blushed but this time I can see it, d’aww!” Dash was now on the floor. “Stop it Dash! That’s embarrassing” Thunder said, hiding behind his hooves, he got embarrassed easily. “Baha! Aww Thunder you’re so adorable when you’re embarrassed.” Dash mocked. “That’s it, I’m going home, see you home when you stop mocking me!” Thunder said stomping off, face as red as a beet. “Aww no! Thunder, come on!” Dash said, trying to stifle her laughter, she seemed to be getting more and more comfortable around Thunder day by day, feeling more secure about her relationship with him. “Please don’t leave, it’s only the afternoon, let’s at least go for a swim, take your mind off of all this?” “Sorry Dash, I think I’m just going to go home and relax, find something to occupy myself for a little while, you can go do something with your friends if you want, it’ll probably be pretty boring just sitting around with me.” Thunder said, yawing. “Alright, I guess I’ll go for a swim and then go see what my friends are up to, if you need me, I’ll probably be at Sweet Apple Acres.” Dash said, giving Thunder a small kiss on the lips. “Love you Dash, I’ll see you later.” Thunder said, waving his hoof as Dash flew off. “Love you to Thunder! I’ll be looking forward to seeing you.” Dash said with a smile. Dash had definitely started acting like her normal brash self, but something was still different about her, not bad, just different, she had a loving attitude, she actually seemed to care about somepony else besides herself and her friends, she cared for Thunder. “Hmm, what should I do? I haven’t had alone time like this in some time, I’ve forgotten how calming it can be.” Thunder sighed happily. “Though it’s ok being alone when you know you still have somepony who wants to be with you, instead of being alone because you’re always alone.” Thunder began flying to the town square of Ponyville, he looked around and saw Twilight trotting by, a quill and paper floating with a rose coloured glow in front of her. “Twilight!” Thunder yelled as he flew up towards her. “Oh, Thunder! It’s nice seeing you again, what’s up?” Twilight said, with a smile. “Oh, I was just looking for some paper and pencils, know where I could find some” Thunder inquired. “As a matter of fact I do, I just came from the supply store and picked up some pencils and paper, it’s just down the street, what do you need them for?” Twilight ask quizzically, she seemed to take an interest as to what a pegasus like Thunder would be wanting with writing tools. “I-I-I uhmm, well…” Thunder didn’t like to admit it, but he was becoming a rather talented artist, his artistic abilities in the drawing field had been improving due to his loads of free time being alone so often. “I kind’a have a thing for drawing and I haven’t in a while, so since Dash is off doing her own thing, I thought I’d practice a little.” “You can draw!?!?” Twilight said surprised, “Really? I’d love it if you could show me some of your drawings.” Thunder was nervous, no pony had ever seen his drawings before and he thought he was only half decent at drawing, “Uhmm, I’m not very good and I left my sketchbook back at my house in Cloudsdale.” Thunder was now nervous, face turning red slowly. “Well I know what we’re doing now! Let’s get you a new sketchbook and some pencils!” Twilight said with gusto. “Off to the supply store again, my chores can wait, I really want to see your drawing abilities.” “Actually I was kind of hoping to get my actual sketchbook back from my house, Celestia said she’d keep it there for me in case I wanted to go back, so it must still be there.” Thunder said, trying to make sure Twilight wouldn’t say yes. “Well, then luckily for you, I have my hot air balloon to get us up there together and I can cast a walking on clouds spell as well.” Twilight seemed to be ecstatic. “It’s settled then; I’ll drop all this stuff at home and accompany you to Cloudsdale.” “Ohh uhmm, ok Twi, but I really don’t think I’m very good.” Thunder said, trying whatever possible to make Twilight uninterested in seeing his sketchbook. “Nonsense, I’m sure you’re a great artist, all artists I’ve seen say they have bad work, but they do an amazing job.” Twilight said with a smile as she put her hoof gently onto Thunder’s shoulder. “Don’t be embarrassed, I won’t laugh at them promise.” Twilight’s voice was soft and reassuring. Thunder’s tense muscles relaxed as they slowly trotted towards Twilight's tree house. After giving Spike the supplies to put away. Thunder and Twilight got into her hot air balloon and then she used her magic to start it up. “Here we go Thunder, off to your home in Cloudsdale.” Twilight said as the balloon began to gently lift off. They began to pick up speed and after around 5 minutes they were already level with Cloudsdale. Twilight stepped out of the balloon onto the clouds and began to wobble before regaining her balance. Thunder and Twilight walked and talked about famous Pony artists as they made their way towards Thunder’s house. He was rather surprised at Twilight’s knowledge of almost every subject known to Ponies and also found it quite entertaining. When they arrived at Thunder’s house, they stopped before entering the front door. “What’s the matter Thunder? Aren’t we going inside?” Twilight asked, with concern in her gentle voice. “Well I’ve never had anypony in my house since I broke up with Flitter and it’s kind of a mess, so if you aren’t too bothered by it, then, well I just thought I should warn you.” Thunder said embarrassed. “Oh its fine, I’ll be ok.” Twilight said with a soft giggle. “Ok, I warned you.” Thunder said opening the door, walking inside he went straight over to a dresser and opened the middle right drawer. “This is my sketchbook, but you can’t take a look at it until we’re back in Ponyville okay?”, Thunder stuffed his sketchbook into his saddlebag and trotted over to Twilight. “Alright, I promise.” Twilight said, sounding a little disappointed. “Pinkie promise?” Thunder said with a giggle. “Yes, cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.” Twilight said making a motion to stick something into her eye. “Now let’s get going I want to see your drawings so badly now! I’m getting all excited.” “Ok, fine, let’s get back to your balloon.” Thunder said, as they briskly walked out of the room and onto the streets. After reaching the edge where Twilights balloon was, they were both met with shock when they saw Twilight’s balloon was gone. “Oh no… somepony stole my balloon!” Twilight said with much despair in her heart. “How am I supposed to get back down to Ponyville without it??” Twilight was now starting to tear up. “Uhmm, Twi. I have wings y’know.” Thunder said with a smirk, trying to reassure her that everything was ok. “Yeah, but I don’t! How is that supposed to help me get back to Ponyville?” Twilight was now crying, “I’m scared Thunder!” “Twilight! Calm down, I’ll fly you down, don’t worry, just hop on my back and hold on tightly, I won’t let anything happen to you, I promise.” Thunder said, holding Twilight close to him. “Ohh, I don’t want to be a burden though.” Twilight said through her tears, sniffling quietly. “You aren’t, I owe you big time for getting me a place to stay in Ponyville and kind of setting me up with the mare of my dreams, I owe you much more than a free flight down to Ponyville.” Thunder was trying to calm Twilight down. “Oh ok, but please don’t drop me, it’s not that I don’t trust you, I jus-” Twilight was cut off by Thunder’s hoof being gently placed over her lips. “Calm down Twilight, nothing will happen to you.” Thunder said kneeling down on all fours and lying flat on the ground, “Now hop on and hold on tightly around my neck, just try not to choke me.” Thunder said with a laugh. Twilight carefully moved herself over Thunder and lied down slowly onto his back; she could feel the warmth of his body and smell his mane, it smelt like fruit and mint. Slowly wrapping her hooves around his neck, she shivered at the touch; she had never been this close to a stallion before and felt a little uneasy. “I-I-Is this ok?” She asked nervously trying not to make Thunder feel uncomfortable. “Yeah, it’s fine.” Thunder said, blushing, his face was now a deep shade of crimson, “Are you ready?” “Ready as I’ll ever be.” Twilight said, squeezing a little tighter around Thunder’s neck. Thunder could feel the warmth of her body beginning to mesh with his own, her fur was soft, her whole body seemed to melt into his, and she was a lot softer than Dash was. “Alright, let’s go!” Thunder said as he flapped his large wings, letting him soar into the air. Twilight had her eyes closed tightly as she pushed her face into the back of Thunder’s neck in fear. “Is it safe to look yet?” Twilight yelled trying to be heard over all of the wind. “Yeah its fine Twi, the view is spectacular!” “Ohh ok!” Twilight reluctantly opened her eyes with a flutter as they adjusted to the light from Celestia’s sun. “Oh dear Celestia, this is beautiful, it’s much higher than I could go with my balloon, it’s breathe taking.” Twilight’s eyes were beaming; she was truly amazed at the sight before her. “Yeah, it’s truly a sight you can appreciate.” Thunder said looking back towards Twilight. Turning his head back his face was inches away from Twilight’s face, her face was full of wonder and eyes bright in amazement, and she looked so happy and actually kind of cute. “Thunder, can we take the long way down” she said softly, with redness forming on her cheeks. “I’d like to see more of the beautiful Equestrian sky.” She was now looking directly into Thunder’s eyes, only inches away from hers. “Hey Twilight? Mind if I do something a little drastic, I just kind of feel like doing it.” Thunder said. “I think I’d be ok with that,” Twi said closing her eyes gently. Thunder Dove down, the sudden jerk in movement made Twilight gasp as they drove down to the cloud below. Emerging from the bottom and steadying out. Twilight looked at Thunder unimpressed and soaked to the bone. “Hehe, sorry?” “Y’know you sound a lot like Dash there…” Twilight said, still looking unimpressed, she did the same kind of thing to me when I first met her in Ponyville. “Well, let’s get dried off and head down to Ponyville.” Thunder said, flapping his wings bringing them up in an arcing pattern, and then diving down towards the ground at full tilt. As they approached the ground, their speed continued to rise. Thunder could feel that oh so familiar feeling as the adrenaline began to flow through his veins. The air began to feel thick with energy, as sparks began to shoot off of his body and back onto either him or Twilight. Soon, *BOOM* a thunderous roar could be heard across the sky. Twilight screamed out as they barreled towards the ground. There was an enormous flash and 3 lightning rings formed around the stream Thunder left behind as they drove towards the ground at breakneck speed. After coming close to the ground, Thunder leveled out and flew over to Twilight’s house and slowed down, coming to a grinding halt. Twilight rolled off of Thunder’s back, looking up at him, while she tried to catch her breath. Her heart was practically beating out of her chest. “Holy buck, that’s was exhilarating, aaand terrifying all at the same time, let’s never do that again.” “Ehehe, sorry I just kind’a got into it.” Thunder was now feeling extremely embarrassed. “I didn’t mean to scare you Twi.” “No it’s fine, I’m just a little light headed, anyway, let’s go in my tree house, I want to take a look at your drawings now.” Twilight said eager to see the art that Thunder had accumulated over the years. Sitting down in Twilight’s house, Thunder opened up his saddle bag and pulled out his sketchbook and opened it to front page, “They do get progressively better over time, well because this is over 4 years of sketches.” The book was very large “Ok, I’m looking forward to it!” Twilight said with much excitement. They began flipping through the pages, seeing picture after picture. The drawings began to get progressively better. “Ohh my, is that Princess Celestia?” Twilight asked very surprised? “That’s amazing it looks exactly like her. “Yeah, Princess Celestia actually asked me to come to Canterlot and sketch this picture of her, I guess I ended up turning it into a fully rendered pencil drawing.” Thunder said with an embarrassed laugh. “Who are these Ponies?” Twilight asked, turning her head to the side trying to figure out who she was looking at. “Ohh, these are my parents, Storm Gust and Summer Winds. I drew this of them together for their anniversary picture. I only had a picture of my mom to go off of since I never actually met her, but my dad loved it.” Thunder was now smiling softly as he thought about his dad. “That’s so sweet. I’m sorry about you not getting to know your mother.” Twilight said putting a foreleg around Thunder to comfort him. “Actually this next picture was from the newspaper a couple years ago. It’s Rainbow Dash, when I first saw her picture in the newspaper, her beauty captivated me.” “She looks amazing in these photos, I can’t believe you’re such an amazing artist.” Twilight was eagerly flipping through the many drawings of Dash, royal guards and even a drawing of Luna and Celestia together when her sister came back home. “You have to show Rainbow these, she’ll love them” “I don’t know, there are quite a lot of pictures of her, she might find it creepy.” Thunder was feeling uneasy. “I think it’s sweet, and she did say she had a crush on your for quite a while.” Twilight was trying to reassure Thunder. “Oh, well it’s getting kind of late; I guess I should head home.” Thunder said, closing his sketchbook and putting it in his saddlebag. “Why don’t you stay for dinner?” Twilight suggested. “You can go home to Dash after, ok?” “I guess it couldn’t hurt.” Thunder thought out loud as his stomach grumbled. After they ate their dinner together discussing his art and looking at a couple more pictures as they ate, Thunder flew home as quickly as he could. “Dash, you home?” Thunder called out walking into the front door. “Thunder! You’re home!” Dash yelled tackling Thunder over. His sketchbook and pencils fell out of his saddlebags and onto the floor. “What are these?” Dash looked at the book that fell open to a page with a couple drawings of her. “Are these pictures of me?” Dashed asked, kind of shocked. “Uhmm I ugh, yes….” Thunder was mortified. “I drew them after I saw you in the newspaper, I kind of developed a crush on you…. After that I couldn’t help it, I just started drawing pictures of you absent mindedly.” “These are amazing!” Dash said looking at all of the pictures that filled the book. “I didn’t know you could draw so well!” “I kind’a hoped no one would know it’s a little embarrassing.” Thunder was blushing a deep shade of red. “Nonsense I think it’s sweet, I mean I did have a crush on you too.” Dash said with a smirk, trotting over to embrace Thunder in a hug. “Let’s head to bed already, I wanna take a look at these in the morning.” Dash spoke in a very sexy tone. The two pegasus packed up Thunder’s mess and trotted off to the bedroom and crawled into bed. They both passed out in no time after having such busy days, there would be much to talk about in the morning. //-------------------------------------------------------// Life Love and A New Home //-------------------------------------------------------// Life Love and A New Home Days progressed to weeks and soon, two months after his rather unpleasant encounter with Flitter, Thunder had his own life in Ponyville. Having more time to practice his drawings and spend time with Dash because together they could deal with the weather faster than they ever could alone. Life was going great for Thunder, he finally had some money stashed away for personal use and still had a steady income from his work with Dash. He kept himself busy when Dash was off doing her own thing by visiting Twilight and teaching her how to draw, because of Twilight’s unicorn powers, she adapted very quickly. After time, Twilight became almost as good as Thunder and even began to fill up her own sketchbook that Thunder had bought her as a thank you gift for being the one to help set his amazing new life in Ponyville in motion. Thunder was sitting in the bedroom drawing a rather, obscene picture of Dash that he had drawn in the past, that well, needed to be redone with his improved skill, when Dash trotted into the room and greeted him with a hug. “Oh drawing smut of me are we?” Dash questioned with a rather lustful look on her face as she eyed Thunder, blushing and trying to hide his work. “Oh uhmm, yeah, this is an old drawing that I thought I’d try my hoof at re doing it.” Thunder had given up on trying hiding his work from Dash as she grabbed it from him and brought it in front of her face. Eying the well done monochromatic, fully rendered pencil drawing of her in a sexy pose was, in a way, flattering to her. “Wow, your drawings really have improved; I remember the old version of this.” Dash looked over at Thunder with a sly grin, “Your old version was based solely off of seeing a single black and white image of me in the newspaper, but yet you produced such a good drawing, and this one is amazing and boy do I look sexy in it.” Dash was now chuckling to herself. “Hey Dash, I uhhm, well during my drawing sessions with Twilight, she asked me when I was moving out of your house, seeing as I have my own income and I can manage to support myself.” Thunder was never very good at bringing up big issues, he usually just let them fester inside in hopes he would forget. “Wait, you’re leaving me? Why would you move out!?!?” Dash looked almost angry, “Why would you? Aren’t we? I uhmm.” her face drooped into a sad look, almost lost… She moved slowly over to Thunder wrapping her forelegs around Thunder’s foreleg in a pleading embrace. “Don’t go…” Dash whispered solemnly as a tear fell from her lavender eyes and onto Thunder’s hoof. “I didn’t say I was, I just thought about what Twilight said, and I felt like I was just burdening you. I thought maybe if I moved out, then you would have your own bed back and I won’t be using your money or stealing your food. I just feel bad for it all…” Thunder was slowly putting his drawings back into his saddlebag. “You aren’t a burden and I uhmm” Dash’s voice began to go quiet… “I like having you in my bed, I’d feel lonely without you there now…” “I know but it was only a thought, if you want me to stay, I’ll stay…” Thunder said hugging Dash trying to comfort her. “I don’t want you to stay because I want you to!” Dash yelled angrily with tears rolling down her face, “I want you to stay with me because you want to!” “Dash, I do want to, I just didn’t want to impede upon your life, I just felt like I barged in unannounced and changed your life around…” Thunder was trying to tell Dash what he wanted to say without hurting her feelings any more. “I just thought you might want to get back to your life.” “This is my life!” Dash yelled, tears falling off her face as she yelled, her eyes were blood shot from all the crying, “You are now part of my life Thunder!” her voice began to go quiet again, “I love you and I don’t want you to leave me…” Thunder nuzzled the top of Dash’s head as she clung to his fore hoof. “I did want to stay, I really don’t want to leave and if I’m staying then, I’m going to help pay the bills and try to not be a burden… I’ll even get my own room ok? I’ll sleep here on the couch, give you some personal space.” “No… I don’t want to spend the nights alone anymore, I was so lonely at night without you, spending all of those nights dreaming that I had my very own special somepony, and now that I do, he is telling me that he doesn’t want to spend the night in the same bed as me.” Dash continued to sob, she felt like her heart was being torn apart, “Thunder, I love you… please stay with me” “I wouldn’t have it any other way, if you really want me to sleep with you, I guess I could try and deal with it…” Thunder joked, hoping to cheer her up. “I really hope you do *sniffle*, something really bugs me though…” Dash said with a smile breaking through her sadness. “What might that be?” Thunder said with a sigh of relief that Dash had changed the subject. “I was always the coolest Pony in Equestria, and the fastest too...” Dash sighed, “And ever since you came along, you're just so dang cool!” “You think I’m cool? Really now?” Thunder smirked. “Thunder, you’re faster than me! I’m supposed to be the fastest pony in Equestria and you can beat me in a race!” Dash said with slight annoyance in her voice. “Ugh, you can draw! You’re fast, strong, your wings are huge and Celestia I might add, it’s just such a turn on! That fact that you’re better than me, it-it-it, just burns me up!” “Dash, seriousl- mmph!” Thunder was interrupted by Dash tackling him to the ground, she began to kiss him passionately. She slowly moaned into his mouth, causing Thunder to melt into his lover. The kiss broke with an almost invisible string of saliva between their mouths. “Are you sure you still want to leave now? You could be having this, anytime you wanted…” Dash said in a seductive tone, running her tongue slowly along Thunder’s neck sending shivers down his spine, causing him to moan deeply. “Dash, you know I’m not leaving!
