Clouds are definitely comfier than sheets.
Spike sighed as he lay awake, enjoying the feel of the fluffy cloud bed against his scales. It had been a long day, but the dragon found himself unwilling to go to sleep. Instead, he combed his claws through Rainbow Dash’s mane as he listened to her soft snoring. The mare herself had fallen asleep the moment she had landed on the bed and had taken to wrapping her hooves around his chest.
Spike couldn’t help but smile to himself; Rainbow Dash wouldnever catch herself being so affectionate while awake. But now, while she was asleep, the mare was cuddling him.
As he listened, Spike could hear her heartbeat thudding softly against her chest in a slow rhythm. His own chest tickled slightly as Dash breathed gently against his scales.
The room was otherwise silent, save for a very quiet humming coming from somewhere else in the house.
He didn’t quite get how it had happened between Dash and him. One moment everything had been normal, as far as normal goes, and then the next thing he knew, he couldn’t take his mind off her.
A smile crossed Spike’s face.
He didn’t regret a thing.
The last thing that crossed Spike’s mind before he fell asleep was what they might get up to the next day. He hoped that he could take her to see something she’d like.
Something interesting.
Somethingawesome.
Spike awoke to find something was prodding his side.
“Hey, Spike?” Dash’s voice whispered next to him.
The dragon grunted in response.
“Are you asleep?”
Spike peeled his eyes open. “Not anymore,” he replied. He couldn’t see very well in the darkness, but he could almost see Dash just in front of his face; her breaths tickled his snout.
“I was just wondering,” she began, “About you.”
Spike blinked. “What do you mean?”
Dash shifted uncomfortably, and Spike realized that she had been almost lying on top of him. “What I mean is, I want to know how you feel.”
“About what?”
“About us,” Dash replied.
Spike smiled affectionately. “It’s not like Rainbow Dash to be cuddling like a filly,” Spike teased. “You’re not ill, are you?”
“This is a one-off,” the mare retorted. “And don’t tell anyone, or I’ll come for you.”
“What’re you going to do? Cuddle me to death?” Spike laughed and tickled Dash.
“Stop!” she giggled.
The pair laughed together and snuggled closer. Spike could now see Dash’s magenta irises reflecting the faint light of the moon that peeked in through the window. They glittered almost magically.
“I think ‘us’ is good,” Spike whispered with a smile as he gazed into those eyes. “I like ‘us’.“
Before he could say any more, Dash had pressed her lips to his own. Spike was caught off-guard and must have forgotten to breathe or something because his vision swayed. After a moment he recovered, however, and wrapped his arms around Dash’s head.
“This is a one-off, remember,” Dash teased.
“One-offs should happen more often, then,” Spike replied.
Rainbow Dash giggled and kissed him once again. A long, passionate kiss. Spike combed his claws through her mane and down her back, and she moaned through the kiss.
“I thought you said we had a deal…”
“Can I break the deal just this once?” Spike murmured back, continuing to run his claws across her body and over her wings, gently tracing circles over her fur. He loved the way she felt against his claws.
Dash didn’t reply instead, she kissed back more fiercely, her breaths becoming shallower and shallower, urging Spike to continue.
“Dash?” Spike said suddenly, breaking from the intimacy. “What doyou think about us?”
Rainbow frowned. “What do you mean?” she asked nervously.
“Well you always act so… nonchalant all the time, I can never tell what you’re thinking.”
Rainbow seemed to consider this as she shifted slightly and broke eye contact with him.
“I… Look, it doesn’t matter.” she stuttered. “I don’t really think about important stuff.”
“You’re a worse liar than Aj,” Spike snorted. “C’mon. Tell me what’s on your mind.”
She fidgeted, withdrawing slightly from their embrace. “You’ll laugh at me…” she mumbled softly.
“It’s like three in the morning, Dash. I promise I won’t laugh at you,” Spike whispered softly, moving closer to her to make up for the lost distance.
“It’s dumb,” Dash complained.
“You know I’ve said plenty of dumb stuff to you.” He smirked, but he wasn’t sure his partner could see it.
“Yeah, I…” Dash began. “I don't know how to say it, but I like ‘us’. A lot. I mean, as much as I love flying. And boy does that say a lot.”
“Ew, gag!” Spike gasped suddenly, poking her side. “Rainbow Dash actually hasfeelings?”
“Hey, I can be sentimental when I want to be!” Dash pouted.
“And it’s so cute when you are,” he teased.
“Cute!?” Dash complained.
“Yep,” Spike replied. “Like a big teddy bear.”
“A teddy bear?” Dash laughed before Spike pressed his lips against hers and rolled over until he was on top of her. Rainbow Dash giggled as Spike’s claws danced across her fur and combed through her mane.
“You’re weird, you know that?” Dash said, breaking away from the kiss.
“I’m a dragon,” Spike retorted. “Maybe I think you’re weird.” He prodded her side. “You have fur and squishy skin and feathers. That’s not normal.”
“And you have bad breath, so it looks like we’re both weird.”
“Oh? I’msorry,” Spike breathed, projecting his breath at Dash.
“Eurgh, do I even wanna know what you ate at that buffet?”
“Lots and lots ofgarlic.”
Rainbow Dash wrinkled her nose and gently pushed his snout away. “Stop trying to kill me.”
Spike giggled. “Death by bad breath? That would be a tough one to explain to the others.”
“You'll have an angry Celestia on your tail,” Rainbow pointed out with a smirk.
“But it would be worth it,” he replied with a devilish smile.
The two laughed together on the bed, in spite of the ungodly hour they were awake at. Spike knew there were no neighbors to disturb, so it didn't matter how loud they were. As their laughter died away, however, Rainbow gave him a serious look.
“I mean it, though,” she whispered.
“Mean what?” he asked, their gazes connecting.
“That I like 'us' as much as flying. I… I likeyou as much as flying.” Rainbow grappled with the words, but Spike could see she meant them.
“You know I think you're amazing,” Spike replied, his voice barely above a whisper. “I've always thought you were.”
“You're feeding my ego,” she whispered back, a smug smile dancing across her lips.
“I know.”
Before another word could be said, Rainbow closed the gap between them once more and rolled over on top of him, their arms and fetlocks caressing each other. She was breathing heavily as she ran her hooves across his scales, tickling him slightly.
“Dash,” Spike mumbled in a daze as their lips separated. He could feel his body getting excited. Were they really about to do this? The whole situation felt surreal. Rainbow was only answering his internal questions by grinding her body against his. “I-I've never done anything like this before.”
She stopped.
“Like what?” she asked, meeting his uncertain eyes.
Spike felt the heat that had been building up in his body rush up to his cheeks. “I've never had… you know… sex before.”
Even in the darkness, he could see Rainbow Dash blush and look away. “Yeah, I…” She roled off from on top of him and clopped her hooves together gently. “I guess I've not really done anything like that either.”
Spike's eyes bulged. “Huh? What! B-but you're older than me. How have you not—“
“Yeesh, make me feel like an old mare why don't you. I never bothered with relationships, okay?” she sighed. “I mean, the only time… well, it wasn't really anything at all. We didn't get very far.”
“What happened?” he asked softly.
“It was just a party once, a couple of years ago. I was drunk, and I had no idea what I was doing. It didn't… I dunno. It was dumb.”
“This isn't dumb, right?”
“No!” Rainbow said quickly. “No, I'd like to…” Her voice trailed away and she watched him carefully.
“Well, what are we supposed to do?”
Rainbow smacked a hoof to her face. “What? Do I have to give you 'the talk' or something?”
“No! I mean, like, what do youwant to do,” Spike mumbled, his face growing hotter by the second.
She took a moment before she answered. “Spike,” she whispered. “I can't think of anything to say that doesn't sound really dumb or cheesy.” She ran a hoof up and down his tail, tracing gentle circles across the scales. “But I really like you, I…”
Spike could feel his heart thundering in his chest. It begged him to do something, so he rolled over and kissed her again. She responded by wrapping her hooves around him and grinding her body against his again.
His mind was racing. He could feel his dragonhood growing harder with each heartbeat. She pulled away and giggled softly when he accidentally jabbed her with it.
“You know that's my leg, right?” she snickered.
“I didn't mean to poke you with it,” he groaned.
“You sure?” she replied with a cocky grin.
Spike didn't reply. Instead, he explored her body with his claws. He trailed a single digit down her side, causing her to shudder. Rainbow Dash may have acted like she didn't like being tickled, but sometimes Spike wondered otherwise. As he stroked her side, she moaned softly into his ear, brushing her lips against the earfin.
Rainbow Dash's hoof continued to meander up his tail and around his side. Then she traced it across his chest, moving lower and lower. Spike couldn't help but laugh when she stroked his sensitive belly scales.
“What's so funny?” Rainbow demanded.
“Sorry,” he giggled, “it just really tickles.”
She giggled with him and softly kissed his cheek, her hoof moving lower and lower. Spike gasped when she brushed against his dragonhood. He swore he could already feel dribbles of precum dripping onto the sheets.
“Are you sure about this?” Rainbow whispered, her magenta irises glowing excitedly in the faint light.
“Yes,” Spike whispered back.
Rainbow grinned and moved under the sheets. Spike realized she was moving lower; he could feel her hot breath against his scales.
Once again, he felt her hoof brush against his cock. He took a deep breath, allowing the air to completely fill his lungs as the hoof slowly brushed against his exposed member. Now he was definitely sure he was getting precum all over her bed. Rainbow Dash was going to kill him.
“Please tell me I haven't got anything on the sheets,” Spike said.
“Screw the sheets,” Rainbow chortled. “I'll clean them tomorrow.”
Spike could only moan in response as Rainbow proceeded to stroke up and down his shaft. He felt the urge to hold something, so he settled for scrunching his claws into the bedsheet. He hoped he didn't tear the sheets with his claws.
“This isn't hurting you, is it?” Rainbow asked from under the sheets.
“What? No! Why?” Spike breathed.
“You just tensed up, that's all,” she mumbled.
“No, it feels great,” Spike assured her. “Like, really good!”
He was met with only a soft giggle and a ruffle of the duvet. Although his heartbeat could go no faster, he was sure that it was taking extra measures to pump as much blood south as it was able. His loins felt as if they were on fire.
Once more, he felt Dash's hooves stroke his cock. Something warm touched the tip. Spike moaned as he realized it was her tongue, noting how even more precum was escaping. Rainbow swirled her tongue swirled around the head of his member.
“Whoa. This stuff isactually salty,” she said from under the duvet.
“It is?” Spike asked.
“Yeah, I thought ponies were exaggerating, but this stuff is seriously salty.”
“That's not a bad thing, is it?”
