Dear Diary,

7 days until the Games! Tomorrow, my family and friends and I are leaving for the Crystal Empire! Even th~~e~~ough the Equestria Games don't start for another week, the tourist ratings are apparently awesome for the Crystal Empire. We get to spend a whole week there!

With us going tomorrow, today was basically packing, packing, packing. I'm tired now. Good night!

6 more days! And several hours ' till we arrive in the Crystal Empire! I'm on the train right now. My friends are chatting. Briar Berry just asked what I was writing. She's reading over my shoulder now.

Dear Diary,

Later. I'm in my room that I share with Briar, Raspberry, Lila, and Sweetpea Punch. There are cystals everywhere! It's so beautiful! I've already met several Crystal ponies. They're so nice and innocent, like nothing in the world can go wrong! Even though things have for them, in the past. They're so optimistic!
