Dear Diary,

Still in Fillydelphia. I went to see the Liberneigh Bell, something I missed yesterday. The view is really pretty. I know I'm contradicting what I said yesterday, but things are looking brighter today.

I'm contemplating on whether or not to go to Hollow Shades. It's a really small town. Maybe I'll stay for a few hours?

Dear Diary,

I'm in Hollow Shades! Sorry I didn't write on the train, I was sleeping. It was a night ride.

Hollow Shades has a gloomy look to it, which makes it really cozy. The ponies here are hospitable and eccentric. They gave me tips for storing fruits over long periods of time. Will use.

One pony here is named Wind Spirit. She's really pretty and nice. Her coltfriend just proposed to her. Isn't that sweet? She told me how this was the second wedding in Hollow Shades, and how everypony here is basically family. Except, they aren't all family. If they were, how would Wind Spirit's coltfriend be able to propose? They would be related.

Going to lunch now.

Went on a berry picking expedition this afternoon. One pony named Heights accidentally fell into a really thorny bush. It took forever to get him out!

I get to keep the berries. Leaving in the morning, though. Remember when I said I'd only stay a couple hours? Plans changed. I really like this place!

Dear Diary,

Left Hollow Shades this morning. I promised to write Wind Spirit when I finish my tour of Equestria. Probably not for a long time.

On my way to Canterlot. I went once when I was a filly. It was so glamorous! I hope it will be the same this time around!
