I have to remember to send a postcard. This place is really cool. The Statue of Liberneigh has a really interesting history. It was imported from the Macintosh Hills back when it was only a territory of Equestria! The ponies there were really generous to give Manehattan this wonderful statue! Love, Fruit Pack Dear Diary, I had a busy day after the Statue of Liberneigh! I went to Bridleway and watched Anniegh. I do wonder, what kind of parents name their foal Anneigh? I know she's an orphan, but it's not an appealing name. At least, in my opinion. Right now, I'm on the train out of Manehattan. It was really fun here, but I'm a tourist, and it's time to see a different city! Next stop: another coastal city: Fillydelphia! I'm going to turn my lamp down now and say goodnight. I went to see the Liberneigh Bell, something I missed yesterday. The view is really pretty. I know I'm contradicting what I said yesterday, but things are looking brighter today. Sorry I didn't write on the train, I was sleeping. It was a night ride. Hollow Shades has a gloomy look to it, which makes it really cozy. The ponies here are hospitable and eccentric. They gave me tips for storing fruits over long periods of time. Will use. One pony here is named Wind Spirit. She's really pretty and nice. Her coltfriend just proposed to her. Isn't that sweet? She told me how this was the second wedding in Hollow Shades, and how everypony here is basically family. Except, they aren't all family. It's pretty here, but it's small and there aren't many attractions. In fact, I think Dodge Junction is the smallest town in Equestria! I won't hold that against them. To make up for my short stay, I sent a postcard. Right now I'm on the train to Appleloosa. The ponies with me have told me there's a nice buffalo herd in these parts. I can't wait to meet them! She's really fast, and I had a friendly race with her. I also had a tour of the apple orchard. The tour guide was named Braeburn. He let us harvest a few apples. I'm not really one for apples, I prefer berries and grapes. Instead of sleeping in a hotel, Little Strongheart and Chief Thunderhooves let me sleep with the tribe! It's all starry out and there's a campfire so I can easily right in my diary. If I ever published a book on tourist destinations, I would definitely recommend meet the Buffalo. I'm Fruit Pack! Someponies might call me crazy, writing in a diary like I'm talking to a pony. I think it's fun! Right now I'm in Nieghra Falls, my hometown. I'm going to be leaving soon. I'm going on a long trip across Equestria, as a tourist! It's gonna be so awesome! I'm supposed to be packing right now, but all I really need is some bits, rain gear, and my fruit, so I figured I'd stop and write in you. My first stop is Manehattan, which isn't too far from here. I'm leaving by train tomorrow. Love, Fruit Pack Dear Diary, I'm on the train! It's really exciting, but I'm also a bit nervous. The mare next to me is a pink unicorn. I'm sure she doesn't want me writing about her, though, so I won't go into detail. A couple minutes ago, we were just served salad off the food cart. It was really good. I don't think I'll need to eat for a while! My tummy is getting butterflies just thinking about all the exciting ponies I'll meet! And the exciting things I'm going to see! I have to go now. One unicorn began to sing about being in Manehattan. It was a very nice song. It's pretty dreary out, right now. I had trouble finding a cab, so I decided to walk instead. This is such a cozy room. It's pretty cheap, because I can't afford to spend all my bits on one room! One pony that I managed to talk to was named Strawberry Ice. She had a super pretty mane. Of course, we didn't chat long. She had somewhere to go. She told me how Manehattan had lots of fashion forward ponies. Maybe I'll check out one of the fashion shows! Love, Fruit Pack Dear Diary, I'm writing out on the streets! I went to the art gallery and Princess Celestia walked in! I was in a room with a princess! How exciting is that? I just realized, that with the Equestria Games coming up, I'd better make my trip correspond to that. My last stop is the Crystal Empire anyway, so I might as well take my time and be ready to speed up if I'm too slow. I went to the Traders' Exchange last Equestria Games. It was just like the ferry in Manehattan. I was running low on bits, so I stopped at the Canterlot Bank and withdrew some of my savings. The teller was really nice. Canterlot is nice! When I get married and have foals, I'm going to take them here! But that won't be for a while. There was this one pony downtown who drew portraits! He made one for me! In it, I'm looking awestruck out on an ocean. It reminds me of how I felt on the Manehattan ferry! Too bad I can't paste it into here, it's too big! I got a shirt at the shopping center. On the front, it has a picture of a pony who is clearly exaggerating a story to her friends. 'Tale Tale' is printed right above it. I think it's adorable! Another town of friendly ponies! Can't wait until tomorrow! Next stop, Van Hoover! Thorn's hometown! I've heard that it's pretty cold up there. About a moon until the Equestria Games. I'll hit Ponyville after this, and maybe Cloudsdale. If I can book a balloon tour! Love, Fruit Pack Dear Diary, I had one craaazy day today! It's my first day in Van Hoover Vanhoover, and I'm in a deluxe apartment all to myself! The ponies here mistook me for somepony else, and despite my protests I wasn't who they thought I was, they insisted I get a heated apartment. When I say apartment, I mean a loft above the tiny apartments. It's pretty cosy in here, I just hope it doesn't turn into a cliche 'Keep the Celebrity Lookalike Captive' scenario. :) I hope I resolve this tomorrow. It was super humongous!! And it was super pretty too! She told me a cool story about a couple years ago, when she performed a Sonic Rainboom during the Best Young Fliers Competition! And she also saved Rarity from her doom! And She saved the Wonderbolts! Anyway, I watched her show off her stuff until some Cloudsdale residents came by and asked if I wanted to tour the Weather Factory. It was cool. Literally. It was freezing in that place, but Pegasi are immune to cold air because they live up in it, so I was the only one shivering. I got to wear a white jacket and a hard hat and it was so amazing! I learned some interesting facts, like how Cloudsdale is the weather capital of the known world! I knew about being weather capital of Equestria, but this now includes the Griffon Kingdom and such! I'm really tired from my exciting day but I had to write all the details! Love, Fruit Pack Dear Diary, It's noon. I am traveling across the Unicorn Plains. I had no idea it was legal until this morning! I decided to get a really awesome look at Equestria, and what better than to travel on hoof???! Everything is curvy and also flat, and there are no trees for miles! The air is fresh and springy and not too hot. I've seen a couple rabbits so far. Actually, I left about an hour ago. But I'm well packed, and if I get stranded out here, I can just build a shelter and wait for rain. (By the way, yesterday I learned that the reason it rains at least once a week is because if there ever was a lost pony, they wouldn't die of dehydration.) Gonna keep on going now. I'm sorry I have written in a while. I've been busy. For example, I had to sort through all my mail, do my chores (yes, I have to), send extra postcards, make reservations for the Equestria Games (this early!) and respond to my mail and hang out with my family. One other thing I have to do is tend to my berry garden. My mom's been doing it for me while I was gone, and it's gotten pretty big. I used the preservation technique the ponies at Willow Falls taught me. I really enjoy telling my family about my travels across Equestria. Neighagra Falls is only being represented in two events, but we wanted to show spirit! We got flags and necklaces and shirts and pom poms with the Neighagra Falls colors- pale blue, white, and yellow. I probably won't be wearing much of it, otherwise I'd look like a wreck! But it's still fun to have all that stuff. Besides, what if I see some poor pony without a home in the cold? I could give them my shirt! That sounds weird, I guess, but it isn't! I don't need to know history to enjoy the Games, though. Still, it's interesting. The games originated in Cloudsdale, as a pegasus only event, then expanded to the entire country only five hundred years ago! Besides that, I harvested some of my ripe berries. As for me, it wasn't too bad. I enjoyed it, especially the part where the main character, Mania Magic, says she wants to see the entire world! I've seen practically all of Equestria! But I'm stuck in my usual life, not that that's a bad thing. it's he not really important to write that I went to the grocery store today. It's still fun here!
