Chapter 15 The Power of Light

“What is going on?!” Thunderstorm says.

“It’s Neutologist.” “They worship the marker and protect it.” David says.

“Why would you protect what kills you?!!” Thunderstorm says.

David shrugs.

“They’re crazy.” He says.

“I hate these damn freaks.” Isaac says.

“Those javelins are moving too fast for me to catch with hooves but Isaac.” “I have an idea for how you can.” Thunderstorm says.

“What are you thinking?” Isaac says.

“Just walk out there and take them out.” “I promise you that a javelin won’t touch you.” Thunderstorm says.

“You better not be playing me.” Isaac says.

“I don’t break my promises Isaac.” Thunderstorm says.

“Alright.” “Let’s do this.” Isaac says.

Isaac steps out into the open.

Thunderstorm’s eyes glow completely white.

Isaac catches a javelin.

“Whoa.” “They’re moving so slow to me now.” Isaac says.

“Go.” “Stop wasting time.” Thunderstorm says.

“Right.” He says and runs through the javelins.

Dodging and catching them.

“Wow.” David says.

The javelins finally stop raining down.

Isaac walks back.

“I killed a couple but the others retreated before I could get to them.” Isaac says.

Thunderstorm’s eyes go back to normal.

“Oh well.” “We’ll get them in time.” Thunderstorm says.

Isaac holds out his hand.

“Thank you for not taking the chance to kill me.” Isaac says.

Thunderstorm shakes his hand.

“I told you I keep my promises.” Thunderstorm says.

“You certainly do.” Isaac says.

Ratchet pulls out a map.

“We are almost halfway there.” “From here on it’s probably going to be a lot worse till we reach the marker.” “We all need to be even more on our guard from here on.” Ratchet says.

“How could we be even more on our guard?” “We’ve been under like constant attack since we left the bunker.” JT says.

“Don’t be a smart flank.” Ratchet says.

“Enough!” “We need to get moving.” “No arguing.” Thunderstorm says.

“It’s getting so cold.” Dia De Los Muerto says.

“Just snuggle into my back to stay warm sweetie.” Thunderstorm says.

“Ok daddy.” Dia De Los Muerto says.

“What about our baby?” “It’s too cold out here for her.” Rainbow Dash says.

“Wrap your wings around her.” Thunderstorm says.

“Ok.” Rainbow Dash says.

Blaaaaaaaaaaaa!! A voice says.

Everypony looks at Applejack.

“Sorry…I don’t know what’s wrong.” “Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” She says.

Thunderstorm walks up to Applejack.

“Did you and Firefly have sex?” Thunderstorm says.

Applejack nods while wiping her mouth with her hoof.

Thunderstorm looks at Applejack’s stomach.

“You’re pregnant partner.” “Looks like Firefly gets to live on after all.” Thunderstorm says.

“I’m pregnant?” Applejack says.

“I would say as pregnant as Fluttershy is.” Thunderstorm says.

“I’m 4 months pregnant?!!” Applejack says.

Thunderstorm nods.

“Yep.” He says.

Rarity rubs her stomach.

“Oh no.” “Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” She says.

Twilight rubs her stomach.

“Uh oh.” Twilight says.

“Don’t you do it.” “Don’t you dare Twilight.” JT says.

Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! Twilight says.

“Oh no.” JT says.

“Great.” “We’re traveling with a group of pregnant mares.” David says.

Thunderstorm looks at Soul Silver and JT.

“Well she is my wife so don’t look at me.” Soul Silver says.

“And Twilight is my wife so don’t you be looking at me.” JT says.

“I will look at you because do you realize what you two have done?” “You have crippled the team!” “By making them pregnant we have to put them under extra security and they won’t be able to defend themselves as well as they could if they weren’t pregnant!” “Like this mission wasn’t already hard enough!!” “You two got to go and do this!!!” Thunderstorm says.

“What about them?” “They had sex with us.” JT says.

“Shut up!!!” “If any of them are killed!!!” “I’ll have you slowly ripped apart by a Timber Wolf pack!!!” “The both of you!!!” Thunderstorm says.

“No!!!” Twilight and Rarity scream.

“I’ll do something I can promise you that.” “Now move out!!” Thunderstorm says.

5 months later.

Fluttershy is lying up against a tree holding hers and David’s baby and Applejack is lying up against another tree holding hers and Firefly’s baby.

Fluttershy smiles down at her baby.

“She’s so cute.” Fluttershy says.

David smiles.

“Yeah she is.” “Just like her mother.” David says.

Fluttershy smiles at him.

“She has David’s gray eyes.” Rarity says.

“And your coat Fluttershy.” Twilight says.

“And her mane has pink from your mane and the yellow from mine.” David says.

“What are you going to name her?” Rarity says.

“Sirena.” “Her name is Sirena.” Fluttershy says.

“Who knows how much magic she’s carrying in those wings of hers since she’s David’s daughter.” Twilight says.

David smiles.

“Yep.” David says.

Where Applejack is.

Thunderstorm smiles.

“He’s beautiful AJ.” Thunderstorm says.

Applejack smiles.

“Thanks Thunder.” “He has Firefly’s yellow eyes.” She says.

Tears appear in her eyes.

“He would love him.” Thunderstorm says.

“He would.” Applejack says.

“He also has your coat and his mane has the yellow from yours and the yellow from Firefly’s.” Thunderstorm says.

“I wish he had Firefly’s red coat.” “And yellow and orange mane.” “I wish he was Firefly.” She says and starts crying.

Thunderstorm hugs her.

“It’s alright AJ.” “He’s yours and Firefly’s son.” “He has Firefly’s blood in him.” “Love him and raise him well because I know you will.” Thunderstorm says.

Applejack nods with her eyes closed tight and tears pouring out.

“What’s his name AJ?” Thunderstorm says.

“Applesauce.” She says and cries into his chest.

Thunderstorm holds her.

“I miss him to AJ.” “He was my brother.” “Not by blood but he was my brother.” “It’s ok AJ.” “I’m here.” Thunderstorm says.

“Is he here for everypony?” Isaac says.

“Pretty much.” “He’s the nicest pony you’ll find besides Fluttershy.” David says.

Fluttershy blushes.

“Wow.” Isaac says.

“Yep.” David says.
