Chapter 18 Never Be The Same

We walk as one.

We walk to protect our home.

We walk to avenge all those who are gone.

We walk….to our destiny.

“Dang it’s cold.” David says.

“Where are we?” “I can’t see in this blizzard.” Isaac says.

“The northern region of Equestria.” “The coldest region you’ll find.” Thunderstorm says.

“Damn.” “What is this Crystal Empire anyway?” Isaac says.

“An ancient Empire of Crystal Ponies that once disappeared because of a Dark King known as King Sombra but he was destroyed and they have lived in peace ever since but who knows how it is now?” Thunderstorm says.

“Probably ruins.” JT says.

Twilight starts crying.

Everypony looks at him.

“I…I’m sorry Twilight.” “I…I wasn’t thinking.” “I didn’t mean to make you cry.” “I’m sorry.” JT says.

“It’s ok.” “Can we just move on?” Twilight says.

“Of course.” Thunderstorm says.

“We sure are leaving a lot of tracks in the snow.” “Couldn’t those Necromorph things follow our tracks?” Applejack says.

“They won’t.” “They fear the Marker like everyone else does.” “The closer you get to it.” “The less Necromorphs you run into but it’s nowhere safer to be.” “In fact it’s more dangerous.” Isaac says.

“So either way you’re screwed.” Rarity says.

“Yep.” Isaac says.

“Oh my.” Rarity says.

“Yipe.” Fluttershy says.

“They killed Skyrid.” “Now I’ll kill them.” Pinkie Pie says.

“Exactly Pinkie.” “Me and you are on the same page.” “Revenge.”“We are not screwed Isaac.” “They are.” Thunderstorm says.

Thunderstorm’s eyes glow red.

“They took my brother…and my daughters from me.” “Now I’ll take everything from them.” “Now stop being scared and move!!!” Thunderstorm says.

Thunderstorm and Pinkie walk off beside each other holding their guns.

“They’ve changed.” “They’ve gotten colder.” Twilight says.

“Losing somepony does that to you Twilight.” “You wouldn’t understand and I hope you never do.” Rarity says and walks off following Thunderstorm and Pinkie.

Her gun out.

Applejack follows Rarity.

Her gun out to.

“Will they all be ok?” Fluttershy says.

“No.” “The scars are too deep.” “Even for Pinkie.”“She’ll still throw parties but she’ll never quite have that same happy look in her eyes again.” “The cold will always be there.” David says.

“Thunderstorm isn’t the only pony who lost a daughter.” “Scootaloo was my daughter to.” Rainbow Dash says and walks off following the others.

Her gun out.

“I lost my girlfriend.” “Sorry girls.” Isaac says and follows Rainbow Dash.

His gun out.

“I lost Cheerilee and all my children but I gained Fluttershy and a new daughter so I’m alright.” David says.

“Out of the entire group only the five of us aren’t going through what the rest is going through.” “Only five.” “So many of us have been hurt.” Twilight says.

Tears go down her cheeks.

“And so many are dead.” Twilight says.

“Twilight…you lost Princess Celestia…your teacher.” “You are going through it.” Fluttershy says.

Twilight pulls out her gun.

“You’re right Fluttershy.” Twilight says.

Coldness enters her eyes.

“Thank you.” She says and follows the others.

“Oh my…maybe I shouldn’t have said anything?” Fluttershy says.

“She would’ve realized it at some point anyway.” David says.

“Yeah.” “Don’t feel bad.” “I’ll go check on her.” JT says and runs off after Twilight.

“Well we don’t want to fall behind the others so let’s move.” Ratchet says.

They all run to catch up to the others.

5 miles later.

SHING!!

A disc from the Remote Control Disc Ripper stabs into the ground an inch from Thunderstorm’s hoof.

Thunderstorm looks at Pinkie Pie.

“I didn’t do it Thundy.” “Are you crazy?” Pinkie Pie says.

A dark figure appears in the distance.

More appear behind it.

“I knew this wouldn’t be easy.” David says.

“Neutologist.” “Damn them.” Isaac says.

“Pinkie.” Thunderstorm says.

Pinkie Pie pulls out her Remote Control Disc Ripper.

“You got it Thundy.” She says.

“Make it as gory as possible.” Thunderstorm says.

“With pleasure.” Pinkie Pie says.

POW!!

She fires out a disc and sends it through a ponies right front leg and left back leg.

They go off spraying blood everywhere.

The pony cries out in pain and falls over.

The disc rips through another ponies back.

Blood pours out and his bloody throbbing muscle and bone are revealed.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH”!!! He screams.

The disc soars through the air ripping through all of them.

Blood spraying everywhere.

They all cry out in pain and moan till it’s finally over.

Everypony watches Pinkie in shock except for Thunderstorm, David, Isaac, and Ratchet.

They just stare forward watching.

“Good job.” “Now let’s go.” Thunderstorm says.

“According to my calculations and my map….”

They walk out of the blizzard.

Everypony looks up in awe and fear.

The Marker stands in front of them.

“…We’re here.” Ratchet says.
