Chapter 20 A Hell Passed

In the Hospital.

“We’re losing her!!!” The doctor says.

“Stay with us ma’am!!!” “Fight!!!” Another doctor says.

“She’s fading fast.” The first doctor says.

“She’s a hero we can’t let her die.” The other doctor says.

In the waiting room.

Thunderstorm and the others stand beside each other.

Tears go down Thunderstorm’s cheeks.

“Equestria tells me that she is dying.” “They’re going to lose her.” Thunderstorm says.

Twilight looks at Applesauce.

“No.” Twilight says.

Tears go down all their cheeks.

“I hate Dimensia.” Rainbow Dash says.

She starts crying.

“We all do.” David says.

Thunderstorm looks down the hallway at the double doors that lead to Applejack’s room.

“Please don’t leave me sister….please.” Thunderstorm says.

A pony walks up to Thunderstorm.

“King Thunderstorm all the Necromorphs and markers are gone sir.” “We have killed them all.” The pony says.

“Sniffle….thank you….make sure all the dead are properly buried.” Thunderstorm says.

“Of course sir.” He says and walks away.

Hours later.

A doctor walks out of the double doors and up to Thunderstorm.

“Well?” Thunderstorm says.

The doctor shakes his head.

“I’m sorry.” The doctor says.

“Nooooo!!!” Rainbow Dash says.

She cries into Thunderstorm’s chest.

Thunderstorm wraps his wings around her and closes his eyes tight.

Tears pouring out.

“You may come and see her if you like.” “I’m so sorry.” The doctor says.

He walks away.

“I got to go see her Dashy.” “I’m sorry.” Thunderstorm says.

“Don’t be.” “Sniffle.” “I understand.” “Go.” Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm nods and walks into Applejack’s room and up to her bed and looks down at her.

Tears pour down his cheeks.

“Firefly was my brother and you are my sister.” “Ha huh.” “Why is everypony that I care about leaving me?” “Ha huh.” “Ha huh.” “Ha huh.” “First Scootaloo then Firefly then Dia De Los Muerto…” “Ha huh.” Thunderstorm says.

He closes his eyes tight.

Tears pouring out.

He opens them back up.

“And now you.” “I hope your with Firefly…ha huh….and don’t worry…..ha huh…..ha huh….We’ll take good care of….ha huh….Applesauce.” He says and cries into her bed.

Applejack’s hoof slowly moves and touches his cheek.

Thunderstorm stops crying and looks at her hoof and then at her.

“Applejack?” He says.

“Thunder….storm…is that…..you?” Applejack says.

Thunderstorm smiles and grabs her hoof.

“Yes Applejack.” “Yes it’s me.” “Please open your eyes.” Thunderstorm says.

Applejack’s eyes slowly open and she smiles.

“Hey Thunder.” “Uuuh.” “What happened?” Applejack says.

“Heh.” “That’s not important AJ.” “You’re ok.” “Ha haa!!” “She’s ok!!!” Thunderstorm says.

Everypony runs into the room.

“Applejack!!!” They all say and hug her.

She smiles.

“Hey yall.” “Good to see yall to but could yall give me some space to breathe please?” Applejack says.

They all back up.

“Sorry.” They all say.

“Awww it’s quite alright.” Applejack says.

The doctor runs into the room.

“You’re alive b…but how?” “Your heart stopped.” “You wouldn’t come back.” The doctor says.

Applejack smiles up at Thunderstorm.

“I heard my brother’s voice and It brought me back.” Applejack says.

Thunderstorm smiles down at her.

“Amazing.” “Just…amazing.” The doctor says.

He leaves the room.

“Don’t worry.” “Your face isn’t as it used to be but your still very beautiful AJ.” Thunderstorm says.

“I don’t care.” “I saw him Thunder.” “I saw him.” Applejack says.

“Saw who?” Thunderstorm says.

“Firefly.” “When I heard your voice he told me to go back.” “That it wasn’t my time yet.” “He gave me a quick kiss and I felt it Thunder.” Applejack says.

Tears go down her cheeks.

“I felt it….I felt it.” Applejack says.

Tears appear in Thunderstorm’s eyes and he smiles.

“Ha huh.” “That’s great AJ.” “He loves you.” “Ha huh.” “He’ll always be with you.” Thunderstorm says.

“Ha huh.” “I know.” “How’s Applesauce?” Applejack says.

“Fine.” “He’s with the other babies but I think he misses his mother.” Twilight says.

Twilight smiles at Applejack.

Applejack smiles back.

“Thanks Twi.” “I bet he does.” “That little cowboy.” “Heh.” “He makes me smile every time.” Applejack says.

“I wish Isaac was here.” “So he could know that Applejack is ok.” David says.

“He knows David.” “He knows.” Thunderstorm says.

Hours later in the middle of Canterlot on a stage.

Everypony is cheering.

The Main Six, Ratchet, JT, and David stand on it.

Thunderstorm walks up to the front of the stage.

“Since my mother and Aunt Celestia aren’t with us anymore it is up to me to praise and award these heroes!” “As Luna’s son and Princess Celestia’s nephew I’am your new leader and I promise that I will lead you well!!” “I’am kind like my mother and smart like my Aunt!!” “We will rebuild Equestria together!!!” Thunderstorm says.

Everypony cheers.

“Now for our heroes!” “For your brave, noble, selflessness, and much more courage and strength!!” “Equestria gives you all the medal of Heroism, Light, and Freedom!!” “Because you brought all those things back to it and back to us!!!” Thunderstorm says.

Everypony cheers.

A pony puts the medals on them all.

“But what about you?” “You helped to.” Rainbow Dash says.

Thunderstorm smiles.

“I don’t need recognition Dashy.” “The fact that my family and friends are safe again is all that matters and is more than I could ask for.” Thunderstorm says.

“But…” Rainbow Dash says.

“And for all the ponies that died!!” Thunderstorm says.

A curtain is pulled back revealing a statue with a lot of names on it.

“This statue will stand as a memorial to them all!!” “And for the human that helped us!!” Thunderstorm says.

Another curtain is pulled back and another statue is revealed.

“This statue will stand forever as a memorial and a reminder that even the most evil of species can be good!!” “Now before we let our heroes go!!” “Give them thanks!!!” Thunderstorm says.

Everypony cheers the loudest that they can.

Everypony on stage bows then walks off stage.

The sun shines in the sky.

Rainbow Dash walks up to Thunderstorm with Rain.

“Everything looks better.” She says.

Thunderstorm looks up into sky.

Dia De Los Muerto, Scootaloo, Luna, and Firefly go through his head.

Scootaloo and Dia De Los Muerto giggling.

Firefly laughing.

and Luna smiling at him.

Tears go down his cheeks.

“Yeah…” Thunderstorm says.

He looks at the shining sun and smiles.

“…Much better.” He says.

David and the others look at the shining sun to and smile.

“Everything is ok now.” David says.

Fluttershy smiles.

“We made it.” Fluttershy says.

Sirena yawns.

David smiles down at her.

Thunderstorm looks at all the coffins being buried.

“We live on a graveyard.” “Things will never be the same.”
