Almost immediately every pony stopped what they were doing and went to the main entrance. It was a dimly lit hallway, almost on the eerie side of things. "Alright! Everyone, get in to age groups. I want fillies, colts and younger ponies in one group, and older ponies in another," After everypony had gotten into a group, a pretty mare with pink fur and mint mane spoke to Dash's group. "Ok, 4 ponies can go into 1 cabin, so lets start off, but first, my name's Mintmane and I'll be your flight class counsellor," Mintmane told everypony. She grabbed a huge list of names and cabins. "Alright. In cabin 1, we have Candy Swirl, Tiny, Lilipad, and Greymist. You can all head to you cabin now. Next in cabin 2, we have Rainbow Dash, Gilda, Moon Mist, and Blue. You can find your cabin now," Mintmane prompted The 2 ponies and 2 griffins. They walked out of the dark hallway and into a forest. There were birch trees, pine trees, and other plants. You could see a bathroom in the distance, and a few outhouses. All the cabins were tiny 1 room wooden buildings. "Ok, here's cabin 2!" Shouted Blue, a griffin with where she was supposed to be white, she was sky blue. The 4 entered the cabin. It smelled very musty and had no electricity, but a window at every bed. "Hey junior speedsters! My name's Ali and I'm going to be not only your main counsellor, but also your friend!" A perky yellow pegasus with purple mane told them. "Ok, speedster!" Dash picked the one with one big winnow in the middle, beside Gilda. "Hey Gilda, what a coincidence we're in the same cabin, eh?" Dash said. "Look Rainbow Dash. I don't want to be here. I don't intend to make any friends, either. So just run along, fastest flyer in Equestria, and don't bother me anymore, GOT IT!!??" Gilda yelled. But Gilda didn't give Dash a chance to answer and just flew away. "Talk about an amazing flyer but rude," Dash muttered to herself. "Ok, here are some rules of the cabin," Ali smiled. "We must only fly outside, be nice to one another, and only eat when its time. Questions?" "Um yes, Ms. Ali, where is the cafeteria?" Moon Mist asked. Moon Mist is a grey and purple pony with a navy blue bow in her long flowing mane. "We don't have a cafeteria, we have it delivered to our cabin, I guess like camp room service you could say!" Ali said cheerfully. Chapter 3The camp fire with everyone (Mares and colts). She sat next to a young mare, probably a few moons younger. She had yellow fur, pink mane, and a cutie mark of 3 pink butterflies. The pony was really shy, she would barley tell Dash her name. But it was Fluttershy. The cute mare was very kind, though and she had a love for animals. Halfway through the fire, Dash thought Fluttershy's stories about her animals got boring, so she went over and sat with the most awesome griffon, Gilda. "Hey G!" Dash yelled out to Gilda. "Who's G?" Gilda groaned. Dash rolled her eyes as she smiled and took an empty seat next next to Gilda. "Hey. This seat is for my best griffon, Felix," Gila said. Dash made another black male pegasus move, she screamed at him. He moved and the blue pegasus sat down. "See. I'm pretty awesome, right," Dash smiled. Gilda just rolled her eyes. She touched beaks with Felix, Dash guessed his name was. He looked a lot like Gilda, but with instead of purple feather tips, he had red. Wow. He is pretty attractive. I can see why Gilda would like him, but its like the griffon didn't want any friends, like Rainbow Dash. Later at the cabin when the girls were settling down for the night, Rainbow Dash couldn't stop playing on her phone. She just downloaded the best and funnest game ever! "Rainbow Dash!" The counsellor called. "No phones at camp!" She reached over to Dash's bed and swiped the phone from her. "You'll get this back at the end of camp," The very next morning, the ponies and griffons got woken up with a loud bang! The blue pegasus slowly lifted her head from the pillow and dragged herself out of bed. "Hey, is that the signal to get up?" she asked. "Yeah," somepony replied. She couldn't make out who, though. The food got delivered to them, but it didn't even look like food, so Dash just opened her window and poured it out. "Yuck," Dash muttered in disgust. The first thing every pony did was a trust exercise. She got paired up with Gilda, surprisingly. Hey! This can be my chance to impress Gilda! Dash thought with glee. She had a huge smile on her face and felt like she was ready for anything. "ALRIGHT, LADIES! MY NAME'S NATHAN HOOFSTRONG, BUT THAT'LL BE MR. HOOFSTRONG TO YOU! AND I'LL BE THIS SESSION'S COACH!" Mr. Hoofstrong yelled to everypony. He was really strict, and he had lots of muscles with light grey fur and black mane.He had a cutie mark of a pair of wings, like flying was what he was best at. "Ok, today's trust exercise will be flying and falling and yor partner will save you," Mr. Hoofstorng said but without yelling this time. Dash walked over to Gilda. "Hey partner!" Dash smiled at Gilda. "Right. Ok Rainbow Dash look. I made a promise and that promise is that I will never be your friend. So I'll do this exercise with you, but that doesn't mean we're friends, got it?" Gilda said. Why dosen't Gilda like me? She's like, the only pony here who doesn't. Dash thought. She was first to go in the air, and Gilda was going to catch her. Dash wondered if Gilda was actually going to catch her or not. Chapter 4Dash was going through the air praying Gilda would catch her. She had her claws spared out, so Dash thought Gilda would catch her. But just when she was about to land in Gilda's arms, she moved away and Dash hit the ground. "Oof!" she yelled. "Oh, sorry Rainbow smash!" Gilda laughed. All the Pegasi and Griffons around her laughed hard too, some even with red faces. Poor Dash's vision was now blurred and she was in a daze. Just then everything went black. Rainbow Dash woke up with a tan male Unicorn and and a blue female earth pony standing around her. "Oh good, you're awake," The blue earth pony smiled. "Gawsh. don't go so hard next time. We don't want you seriously hurt," the tan Unicorn muttered. Dash heard the door open and saw what looked to be a yellow Pegasus with pink mane. Fluttershy! "I'm sorry if I'm bothering you, but I saw what happened to Rainbow Dash, and I just wanted to see if she'll be alright," Fluttershy said in a concerned voice. "Yes, she'll be fine. If you wish, come say hello to her," offered the blue earth pony. Fluttershy trotted over to Dash. "Rainbow Dash, are you ok? I saw everything. I think Gilda did that on purpose," Fluttershy said. "Yeah, I know what happened. Did she get punished, anyway?" Dash asked. "No, Gilda told the coach it was an honest mistake," Fluttershy sighed. "Where am I anyway?" Dash wondered. "You're at the hospital. Since you passed out, the coach called the doctors to bring you to the camp's hospital, and those ponies were the doctors," Fluttershy replied. "It should be another couple of days until you can get out of here," * * * "Ugh, finally, I'm out of that awful hospital," Dash sighed in relief. "You can forget about me wanting to be Gilda's friend now," "Yeah, she wouldn't be a good friend, anyway," Fluttershy smiled. It was 3 days since Dash had gotten out of the camp's hospital, and she felt just great. The doctors said that she'd fractured her knee, but Dash didn't know how true that was. Her knee felt fine. They were just serving lunch, the gross awful food. Today's lunch wasn't so bad, it was just mac and cheese. It was a bit overcooked, but it could be worse. It could be undercooked. "Hey Rainbow Smash, come here," Gilda smirked. Chapter 1Beep! Beep! Beep! Rainbow’s alarm just went off. As her head lifted from the warm pillow, she realized it was was the day of her flight camp, “Junior speedsters” Or at least that’s what she thought it was called. Dash sprang out of her bed with excitement, grabbed her suitcase, and left for the train station to catch her ride. When Dash got to flight camp, she was really excited, but also nervous. Will I fit in??? She thought. Well of course I will. I’m Rainbow Dash, the fastest flyer in Equestria! She reassured herself. She walked over, and there were Pegasi everywhere, flying there hearts out. There were also some griffins. Dash had never seen a real live griffin, so she was determined to make friends with some of them, or at least make some friends. When she got over to the main area all the Pegasi and most Griffins crowded her. Dash was surprised to see almost everyone crowded around her. “Wow look, it’s Rainbow Dash!” A filly whispered to her friend. But Rainbow Dash knew the ponies who she became friends with would only be her friend so they’d be popular and better flyers. She wanted a real friend. Dash saw a griffin cutting swiftly through the blue sky. She had purple around her eyes, and the feathers on her head had lavender on the tips. She was one of the best flyers she’d ever seen. “Hey! What’s your name?” Dash asked. The white and golden griffin looked at her with a smirk. “Gilda. And I know who you are. You that Selfish Dash,” Gilda rolled her eyes. “No, I’m Rainbow Dash. And you’re a great flyer, Gilda,” Dash complemented. The griffin flew off leaving a cloud of dust in Dash's face.
