Chapter 1 Start The Nightmare
Dave climbed up the last step to his apartment, he sighed sadly. Looking at his shoes, he debated if he should enter his or more his friend's apartment. Lets just say Dave is booming money wise probably by the bombs the thief is using to get into his bank's vault. Anyway he has no money, it's not like he doesn't want a job, it's just that all the job interviews he went to, the boss was part of the lets ruin Dave's life club, or maybe it's because of his crazy personality. Yeah I'm betting on the second one. But he always put on a smile and left. But you're probably questioning why is he sad now and then I would answer I'm getting to that if I was right next to you and not a just some words on your computer screen.
But enough of my problems and more of his. This interview was different though. It started like any other, with a few questions and a few answers. This interview ended quicker than the others, this didn't make him the depressed person he is now. What caused that was, well lets say an disagreement broke out, which was one-sided by the way, and it was circled by how Dave wouldn't accomplish anything. Of course, the topic crossed his mind once or twice, but unlike questioning it in his head it hurt more coming out of a person he just met. Even though it was words, in Dave's head the words stung like a hundreds of bees was stinging him. You may also question, what else would bees do and I would answer don't be a sarcastic as-I mean butt head.
Ah look at us arguing, it's like we're made to be friends. But enough about us being bffs, this about Dave. Where were we, uh yes the bees. But Dave just got up, mumbled a quick thank you for your time, and left. You may be wondering why didn't he kick him where the sun don't shine, well he lives in a world where assault is illegal. See I can be sarcastic too. Anyways Dave walked towards his friend's apartment but not without attracting everyone's attention. You see he lives in a small town where pretty much everyone knows each other and they know Dave as the kid that is always happy. So when you see him depressed as he is, you know something bad went down.
Everyone knew he was depressed, but yet no one said a thing to him. In a way that pleased him, knowing some people cared about him by leaving him be. It didn't cure him of depression though. Finally, we're back to the present. Dave still debated going inside the warm apartment and take shelter from the cold. Oh how he hated having to depend on his friend. Of course his friend didn't mind but Dave was always overthinking things. Like that one time he thought he went through a time portal when he and his friend was shopping. They were going through the frozen food section and when they left the section, his friend forgot something, so they went back. Now you probably wondering how did he think he went through a time portal, well Dave usually blocks out his senses when nothing interesting happens. So when they went back to where they were, Dave felt the coldness of the freezers back again. Then he put two and two together and got time portal. Lets just say he has a active imagination. Anyways after a long talk from his friend, they both left the store with handfuls of groceries and one of them a slight frown.
Back to the story. As Dave peeked inside, he thanked any god still watching that his friend was not here, he would hate to see his friend worry about him. Dave entered slowly due to his legs stiffness from standing outside for a while. Closing the door behind him, he quickly went to the kitchen to fetch a glass of water. Shuffling around the cabinets he found a glass and filled with tap water. He leaned on the cabinets and took a gulp of his water. Surveying the apartment like the first time, he took in his surroundings.
The apartment was medium-sized. The living room was the biggest room in the apartment like most apartments, it was a generic living room having a coffee table, a tv, and a faded-blue couch. The kitchen was part of the living room having only what they need so a coffee maker, microwave, fridge, stove, and, of course, food. The apartment had only one bathroom, it was across David's room. The bathroom was small having a bath and shower combination, toilet, sink, and mirror. They had shampoo and toothpaste but I don't think you want to sit there, while I name off toothpaste. They both had rooms, but they respected each other's privacy so they didn't go into each other's room unless it's important. Dave's room was totally not like you think it was, unlike his personality the room was clean, no clothes on the floor, no food anywhere. Anyways the room looked untouched, the only way you would know that someone lived there was the clothes in has drawers.
Dave didn't much cared for fashion, all he needed was a bed to sleep on and roof over his head. Dave sat down his water on a nearby drawer, and laid down on his cold bed staring off into space. He thought about what his interviewer said maybe he wouldn't accomplish anything. Or maybe he didn't want to accomplish anything. But he would worry about that tomorrow. He thought as his eyes slowly shut and his body shut down.
I'm sorry friend but I fear we have to depart for now. This is the furthest I can go. The adventure will be shot through Dave's eyes now until the end of adventure. Good luck my friend.
As my eyes opened, I was hit by a blinding light. 'My eyes! Curse you light!' I opened my eyes more slowly this time. I was surprised to find that I was not in my room or even the apartment. I was in room where everything was dark except for the lamp shinning in my face, there was weird machinery all over the place, scattered paper and quills? Who uses quills anymore? Anyway there was stairs leading up to a door. 'Huh judging by the stairs, I'm guessing I'm in someone's basement. How fun!' There was light peaking through the crack between the door and floor. The only thing familiar was the bed from my bedroom. 'Wow someone carried a whole bed to there place and no one stopped him. My neighbours suck.' As I went to get out of the bed, there was muffled talking coming from the door and it was getting closer. 'Oh I'm screwed.'
I did the only thing I could think of, I pretended I was still asleep just as the voices entered. "Twilight, I still don't get why we don't go to Princess Celestia." A child like voice spoke.
"I told you Spike, she has enough problems being Princess we don't need to add to her problems." The one I presume is Twilight answered.
'Twilight, Spike, and Princess Celestia. These are some weird nicknames.' "But what if it's dangerous?" The one I guess is Spike questioned.
"Then we get the girls and figure out a plan." Twilight stated-matter-of-factly.
'Girls? Did a whole bunch girls kidnapped me? As much as I liked that thought, I didn't want my little Davey to be cut off.' "Anyways lets get started!" Twilight exclaimed.
'Wait started. Nope nope nope so much nope.' As I thought that, my eyes shot open to see a pony? I rubbed my eyes, thinking my mind is playing tricks on me. Each time I looked it was the same pony. Then I realized this was real. "What the heck is happening?" Was the first words out of my mouth.
