Ember Twist's Adventures

The whistle to the Ponyville train blew loudly as ponies stepped off, one of them being a dark blue pegasus named Ember Twist. All she brought to the small town was a saddle bag full of clothes and food, even though she was moving to Ponyville.

" Ponyville finally", She said proudly looking at the town. Small houses covered the town as ponies lived out their daily lives, unaware of the pegasus. She flapped her dark blue wings in excitement, forgetting the heavy bag on her back. " I can't wait to race ponies here", She squealed eagerly.

All surroundings mentally disappeared as she tried to fly.

Whump

She fell face first into the dirt. " Stupid heavy saddle bag ", she growled brushing herself off. A tan pegasus mare walked up to her. This pony had a pink mane and tail with the ends being light blue. Her mint eyes held kindness and hope. " Are you OK ", the pony asked quietly.

Ember Twist nodded still dusting herself. " Are you Ember Twist ", the tan pegasus asked. Ember Twist nodded again. " I'm Kitty. Kitty Pawsworth", Kitty said. Ember Twist flapped her blue wings and smiled. Her purple red eyes flashed with mischief. " Wanna race".

Kitty flinched. " R-Race", she stuttered.

" Yeah a race", Ember Twists urged

" No "

" Why not"

" I don't like to", Kitty said sternly. Ember was shocked. How could any pony not like a race! Ember Twist shrugged dismissively and trotted away, even though she didn't know where she was going. Kitty caught up to her walking by her side. She was curious about this new mare.

The two pegasi entered Ponyville about an hour later. Ember Twist soon stopped realizing some thing important. Very important. " I don't have any place to stay", she half yelled half squeaked. Ponies stopped to look at the loud pegasus. Letting out a nervous laugh she tried to take attention off of herself.

" You can stay with me", Kitty offered. Ember Twist squealed hugging her new friend. Kitty returned the hug showing the blue pegasus the her cottage.

It had a resemblance to the pony called Fluttershy's home, but with a few differences. A cloud had been had been added to the top to add a bedroom and a small pigeon fluttered around. " That's Carmen", Kitty explained. Carmen cooed and flew away as Ember got close. " She doesn't like new ponies", The tan pegasus said.

After bringing settled in Ember Twist unpacked her saddle bag and stretched her with wings. She was preparing to go on her nightly flight. " Where are you going", Kitty asked from the kitchen. Ember Twist turned and said, " Just out for a flight". Kitty gasped. " At night"! Ember Twist rolled her eyes claiming she did it all the time.

After a long arguement Ember was off Kitty by  her side. " How did I get involved in this again", the tan pegasus sighed. Ember Twist just laughed enjoying her time in the sky.

One hour later

The two mares returned home tiredly. Ember Twist flopped on the couch while Kitty retreated upstrairs. " That was fun" , she yawned. She was going to have fun with the new pony in town.

Crash

" Sorry I wanted to see if you threw a plate at the window which would break", Ember called from down stairs. " I'll buy a new plate".Kitty sighed putting her hoof to her head.
