Stay Strong
Chapter 1
Load Full Story“Why do I have to go to school? Can’t I just have a tutor come to the castle?” Princess Dawn said to her mom, Queen Frost. “Because, Ponyville has a great schooling education, and you need the best possible education if you want to become a great queen of Equestria.” Queen Frost spoke. “Fine!” Princess Dawn spoke and started to stomp off to her room, but her mother stopped her. “DON’T tell anypony your the princess of Equestria, or you might be treated differently! Now go get packed.” Her mother finally finished and so she headed upstairs.
Princess Dawn took her crown off and set it on the dresser. She started to pack her things such as her hairbrush, dresses, accessories, etc. Once she was finished she lifted her bag with her horn and carried it downstairs and to the front door of the castle. There she saw her grandparents, whom she will be staying with for quite some time, and her parents plus her little brother, Prince Dusk.
“We will miss you very much dear, but it for the best for the kingdom.” Her father, King Ice said and gave her a hug. “Bye, Dawn I will miss you very much.” said Prince Dusk. “I’ll miss you too, all of you.” She said and went to her grandparents. With one last wave goodbye the 3 ponies flew off to Ponyville.
They made it to Ponyville and headed to the house. “This is where you will live at for the next few years.” Dawn’s Grandmother said to her. “Ok, where do I sleep?” Dawn asked her grandparents. “Upstairs door to your right.” Dawn’s Grandfather said. “Ok.” Dawn said and headed to the room.
Once she was there she started to unpack her bag. She put her dresses in the closet beside her bed and hairbrush + accessories in a drawer. Once she was finished she headed downstairs and into the living room where her grandparents were. “Can I go out and explore?” She asked. “Sure, just be back around 9” Her Grandmother said.
So Dawn headed out the door. She looked around, but as she was she ran into somepony. “Oops. I’m so sorry!” A filly about her age said to her. “It’s ok.” Dawn said to her. “I’m Lucky Clover, but just call me Clover.” She said. “Ok, Clover. I’m Princ… I mean Dawn.” Dawn said. “Cool, so did you just move here?” Lucky Clover asked. “Yea.” Dawn said. “Well you’re going to have a great time in Ponyville. Well I’ve gotta go see you later Dawn.” Lucky Clover said and headed off to some pony which seemed to be her mother.
Dawn looked around for a while but, soon headed off back to her grandparents house. “So how was your day?” Her Grandfather asked. “Great, but may I go to bed I’m a little tired from today?” Dawn asked. “Sure, good night.” both of her grandparents said. So, Dawn headed upstairs to her room and fell a sleep.
The Next Day
Dawn woke up wit her grandparents hovering over her. “What, yall should know I'm not a morning pony.” She said tried. “We know, your mother told us. Anyway go get ready we are taking to school today.” Her Grandmother said. Dawn got up and went straight to her closet. “Should I wear this, or how about this?” She said as the looked through her dresses. “Just go as you think you should dress.” Her Grandfather told her. “Ok.” Dawn said and told her grandparents to go out of her room, so she could dress.
Dawn finally decided to just put in a hair bow for today. She grabbed her bag and headed out of her room. “Ok, ready.” She called to her grandparents. No answer. “Grandma, Grandpa?” she shouted confused. She looked all around until she found a note of the front door. It read;
Dear Dawn,
We went out so here’s a map taped to the back of this note for you to use to get to your new school. Have a great day. We love you so much.
Love Your,
Grandparents
Dawn looked at the map. She soon headed out the door and to her new school. As Dawn was walking she saw a sign that read: Ponyville Schoolhouse. She headed into the school and found many fillies and colts. “Hey, Dawn.” A familiar voice said to her. It was Lucky Clover. ‘Hey, Clover.” Dawn said. “So, your in Ms. Cheerilee's class?” She asked. “Yea.” Dawn told her. “Lucky, she the best teacher here.” Lucky Clover said and she skipped out of the room.
Dawn took an empty seat next to and colt. He had sky blue eyes, chocolate brown hair, was a light sky blue color. She quickly turned her head away from him, and to the front of the class. “Ok, class today we are going to talk about Cutie Marks.” said Ms. Cheerilee. “First off can anyone tell me what a cutie mark is?” She asked. almost everyone raised their hand. “Yes, Raindrop.” She said. “Um…” As he started to speak I realized the pony speaking is the pony that I keep looking at that’s beside me.
“...it’s when you’ve found your special talent that make you unique from every other pony.” He said. “Yes, that’s what a cutie mark is. Now I see that some of you don’t have yours yet, but don’t give up you will receive your as your life goes on and you discover when your meant to be. Like I did when I came here back to Ponyville to become a teacher.” Ms. Cheerilee said. “Now that I think about it…. all fillies and colts listen up. I’m going to tell you how I received my cutie mark.” She said then started her story, but I zoned out. Then, I didn’t want to hear a stupid story about cutie marks. All I was worried about how I can get my cutie mark.
I looked around and saw that Ms. Cheerilee was right some ponies don’t have theirs yet either. Even the one that answer the question right. What was his name? Raindew, Rainbow, Raindrop… yea that’s it! I tried thinking, but it was hard to concentrate on how to get my cutie mark well Ms. Cheerilee was telling her story.
