A colonial ship happens to be passing near an unfamiliar planet. Though they are unaware of the cargo they are truly carrying for Weyland/Yutani. After a forced 'landing' a distress beacon is activated, and a group of colonial marines are shipped out on the premise of a possible Xenomorph invasion.
