Nightshine receives some rather unpleasant news from a mare she had never met before. Her mother, Nightfire, has finally met a seemingly long overdue end as an adventurer and warrior. Now she has been given a heap of diaries by this stranger who claims to have known the pegasus for at least twenty years.
