That's where the Celestia-Tier online system comes in, or CTos for short.
Twilight Sparkle created a grid of magical energy. Connected to things from security cameras to personal files. All organized into one magical database hub. Allowing law enforcement to search for the ID tag of a criminal, and find them at ease. Preventing criminals from escaping, by raising bollards with the push of a button, on a smart phone. Allowing citizens to access their personal records, and their families documents, with a tablet.
Everything is connected.
Which means everything is vulnerable.
