“THAT’S THE THING,RARITY. YOU’VE NEVER CARED ABOUT ME OR THE OTHER CRUSADERS!” Sweetie Belle screeched across the room to her big sister, who glared at the little filly with an expression of anger and sadness.
“WELL MAYBE IS YOU STOPPED WASTING YOUR TIME IN THIS SILLY LITTLE CLUB, YOU WOULD HAVE MORE TIME FOR THE THINGS THAT MATTER THE MOST!” Rarity shouted back at small white unicorn facing her from the opposite end of the room. Even though she meant every word, she felt in her heart that she had been too harsh.
Sweetie Belle was taken aback by Rarity’s words. A look came into her eye. one that Rarity recognized instantly. But it was one that she had not seen for long time. A look of pain and sadness that Rarity last saw so many years ago, when Sweetie Belle even even younger than she is now, when she lost her favorite stuffed animal. Rarity wished that this situation could be solved as easily now, but they both knew in their hearts that this would take much more that few bits to fix.
“SILLY!” A tone of sheer surprise was clear in the filly’s voice. A tear seeped into the small unicorns eye. Rarity knew how she would react to that remark. The CMC was a huge part in all their lives. But she knew that she couldn’t back off, Sweetie Belle had to face the truth. She was close to graduating from school now, and the CMC was the only thing stopping her from earning her cutie mark.
“YOU CAN’T SPEND YOUR ENTIRE LIFE ON POINTLESS PURSUITS IN THE VAIN HOPE THAT ONE WILL LEAD TO YOUR CUTIE MARK!” The tall white mare growled at her little sister, who now lay sobbing on the floor of her room. It wasn’t her speaking now, it was all of the pent up aggression that she had always felt towards their “club”. She felt terrible and could feel herself starting to tear up, she barley managed to suppress her tears before another wave of abuse came pouring from her mouth. “YOU PUT YOUR STUPID GATHERING BEFORE YOUR FAMILY AND ANYTHING ELSE AND NOW IT’S TIME YOU JUST.. JUST!” Words circled around in her head like clockwork, She bit her lip to avoid anything else tumbling out of her mouth ”GROW UP!!” She stamped her hoof down in rage, startling the filly who looked up at her sister, her mane tangled and matted by her tears.
“IF YOU HADN’T OF SPENT ALL DAY EVERY DAY CHASING HOPELESS DREAMS I WOULD HAVE HAD SOMEONE TO HELP ME RUN THIS PLACE, NOW LOOK AT IT” She pointed her hoof at the mess around the boutique. Sewing machines sat around collecting dust, dress half finished.Shelves that once held numerous awards from fashion shows throughout Equestria, now lay bare, covered in dust and cobwebs.
The sudden realization of what she had done hit the young foal like a brick. But the a sudden anger burned through the small unicorns body, she rose to her hooves, blinked the tears from her eyes and advanced towards the cloud colored mare with frightening authority.
“WELL, MAYBE IF YOU WEREN’T SUCH A LOUSY WORKER..” She began.”...THEN YOU WOULDN’T HAVE MESSED UP PRINCESS’S ROYAL GOWN, THAT’S THE REASON YOU WENT OUT OF BUSINESS, RARITY, NOT ME!!” Rarity was was hurt by the young foals words
