It's a beautiful day in Equestria. A soft breeze is blowing through the trees, the edge of the meadow is calm and peaceful. But, a young couple are sleeping at the edge of the meadow, where it meets the forest of apple trees. Fluttershy began to open her eyes, fluttering them a bit until wide open.
"Huh?" She mumbles to herself, "Where am I?"
Fluttershy began to look around with her eyes, then soon coming to realize she was in somepony's arms. She began to realize just who's arms she was in, Big mackintosh's, the only pony in Equestria she loved with all her heart. She then sighed, remembering how they met.
*Flashback*
"Uh, Fluttershy?"
"EEEP! Oh Applejack, you scared me!"
"Sorry flutters, I just wanted to ask you favor...."
"What is it Applejack? Is it concerning wiona?"
"No, I-it's about Big mac. H-he need's your help."
Fluttershy gave Applejack a confused gaze, "What does he need my help with?"
"He needs to learn how to speak. More than his simple one-word answers. We tried Twilight, but she was too much for Big mac to handle. I asked Cheerile, but things were still akward between them since Apple bloom gave them a love poison. So we really need your help."
"Oh my, I-I'll help, when do we start? Heheh...."
"Is this afternoon alright for ya sugarcube?"
"That's fine."
Applejack opened up her arms and hugged Fluttershy, "T-thank you so much Flutters."
"No problem Applejack, now p-please let go."
"Oh, right. Well thank you again, see you tonight!"
"Bye!"
*Snapback into reality*
Me and Big mac hit it off after that, I began to develop a crush on him, a-and so I told him and well, he liked me too. Things were great after that, and still are! I hope that this never ends between us!
EVER.......
"Fluttershy? Yah awake?"
"Huh? Oh, Big mac your awake. *Giggle* It's a beautiful day today, don't cha think?"
Big mac smiled, "It sure is, but, it's not as beautiful as you."
"Oh Big mac," Fluttershy blushed, "You're so sweet! How did a mare like me end up with a stallion like you?"
Big mac smiled again, "Because you are the most beautiful mare ever, and you have a great personality..."
Fluttershy's cheeks were beginning to get redder, " Oh, stop."
"Aaand," Big mac continued, "Ah love you with all my heart." Big mackintosh started to lift Fluttershy off of him and, set her on her back on the ground. He then began to tickle her, "Ah won't let anything happen to you, unless it's my doing. Just.. like... this!"
Fluttershy could barely focus on Big mac's words of love while being tickled the whole time. Especially in her most ticklish spot, her stomach.
"Hahahaha! Hahaha! Oh B-big maac! Please stop! Haha! I can't breathe! Oh! Hahaha! Please! Hahaha!"
Big mac giggled, "Haha, alright sweetie. You win this battle." Big mac then gave Fluttershy a small peck on the lips, much to her surprise, and let her go.
*Gasp*, "Haha, that was fun." Fluttershy said while catching her breath.
" Well if you think that was fun, just wait till you see what ah have planned for this afternoon." Big mac grinned.
"Huh? What is it?" Fluttershy asked.
"Ah can't tell yah because then it won't be a surprise! Well, ah need to get back to the farm and start workin'. How about ah walk yah home?"
"Oh, alright. I guess it is time to check on Angel. Oh poor Angel, he must be feeling so alone!"
MEANWHILE AT FLUTTERSHY'S COTTAGE .......
ROAR! HISS! SQUAK! RIP! ROOOOOOOOAAAAAR!
Discord smiled, "Oh, all the chaos around me, I just love it! I can't wait for Fluttershy to get home! I think she like me stopping in for a surprise visit. Oh, I can't wait to see her pretty blue eyes, I could stare at them all day!"
*CHINK CHA-CHINK*
Discord frowned, "Uh-oh. She's home, well better clean up!" *Snap* "Ah, that's better." In one snap of Discord's fingers, all the chaos inside of the cottage was returned to it's peaceful state. "Boring" Discord thought to himself as Fluttershy opened her door.
"Surprise!" Discord shouted. "Oh Discord, you're back! How was your trip to Phillydelphia?"
"Delightful, but I missed your pretty face while I was there." Discord smiled.
Fluttershy grinned "That's sweet of you Discord. Can I ask you a favor?"
"Anything for you."
"Can you watch the cottage this evening? I'm going somewhere with a friend and I don't know when I'll be back."
"Your leaving now? You just got here!" Discord said, pouting his bottom lip.
"No silly, not for a couple of hours. But, will you do it?"
"Sure, anything for my dear Fluttershy. Now, let's go do something fun!"
"Thank you Discord."
FOUR AND A HALF HOURS LATER.......
"Are we there yet?" Fluttershy asked.
"Almost...and we're here!" Big mac said, taking his hooves off Fluttershy's eyes.
"Oh Big mac, it's beautiful! And you made us a picnic too!" Fluttershy said, kissing Big mac.
"Heh, and ah made your favorite, fruit salad and carrot sticks." Big mac replied, blushing.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Fluttershy said, dragging Big mac with her.
"Yeah, here goes nothin', *gulp*" Big mac thought to himself.
Fluttershy and Big mac dove into the food. Laughing and having fun as they talked about their day.
"And then, Discord tripped over his foot, on purpose of course, and slid all the way into the dirt pile! We we're laughing so hard!" Fluttershy giggled. "Phew, that salad was good. I think I'm going to have a carrot." Fluttershy then reached into the picnic basket for a carrot, once she found one, she pulled it out with her hoof. She was surprised to see a little note attached to the carrot. As she read the note out loud, Big mac reached into the other side of the basket and pulled out a little black box. He opened it to reveal a glistening ring in front of Fluttershy's face. The note said, "Will you marry me?" Once Fluttershy looked up, she saw the ring and it left her breathless. Big mac then repeated the question out loud again and, it took her a minute to adjust, and then she finally spoke,
"Yes. I will marry you!" She then leaped up and knocked Big mac down and was passionately kissing him. "I love you so much!"
Big mac smiled, "Ah love you too Fluttershy, but there is something we need to do first."
"What is it?"
"You're gonna have to tell your friends, especially my sister. Ah will talk to the rest of my family, but you need to tell them."
"Oh, ok. I will set something up tomorrow, but for now, let's enjoy this moment."
Big mac smiled again, "Alright."
