I was just coming to pick you up.

The music is loud. It feels like her chest is pounding in the same beat as the music. There are ponies all around her, dancing, but she can’t really see their faces, because of the weak light. She feet somepony grab her hoof and pull her away from the crowd, away from the dance floor and over to the bar. She turn her head and saw one of her friends handing her a glass, grinning. She carelessly grabbed the glass and drink the cider. The bad tasting liquid burned her throat, but she didn’t really care. She was too drunk to care anymore. Laughing, she threw her hoofs up in the air and yell: “Let’s get drunk tonight!”

The ponies around her laugh and scream: “Whoohoo!”, while they empty their drinks. She laughed even more and left the glass at the table and try to get out on the dance floor, but her legs won’t work, and she almost fell. Somepony grabbed her hoof and pull her steady again.

Rainbow Dash turned her head and look at the pony who grabbed her. Her eyes looked directly into another mare's eyes, and their faces were close to each other. She smiled weakly.

“Thanks Pinkie.”

Pinkie Pie laughed a little and let go of Rainbow's arm.

“Rainbow, you’re way too drunk!” Pinkie says, but she can hear her own drunken voice.

“No I’m not,” Rainbow laughed. A smirk slowly grew on Pinkie’s face.

“No, totally not. You’re completely steady on your hoofs, I see that. Are you sure you don’t wanna get a little away from the crowd?” Pinkie Pie asked.

Rainbow Dash look at her friend. The music is a lot louder right here, than it would be over by the front doors. Her head feels heavy and the heavy rhythm in the music doesn't make it any better.

“Alright. Let’s go.”

A big smile shows up on Pinkie’s face, and she grabbed Rainbow’s hoof and began to lead her through the crowd. The feeling of Pinkie’s hoof on her own, made Rainbow shiver a little.

In any other situation, Rainbow Dash would have protested, but her drunk brain won’t do the same as her, so she doesn't hesitate, but just followed Pinkie over to the doors. They stopped a couple feet from the doors. Pinkie Pie held Rainbow Dash’s hoof a few more seconds, before she let go. The music wasn't so loud anymore, and Rainbow sighed in relief. Pinkie turn around to face her and slowly lean against the wall, smiling.

“Are you having fun?”

Rainbow Dash laughed drunkenly.

“Hell yeah! This is awesome!”

The excitement in Rainbow’s voice make Pinkie Pie laugh, but she quickly stopped and looked at Rainbow Dash with a smile.

“So... How does it go between you and Applejack?”

The question caught Rainbow Dash unprepared. They almost never talk about Rainbow Dash and Applejack's relationship. All the others in the crew never really said anything about it. Probably because it was awkward for them, that two of their friends are lesbian. Rainbow hesitated for a second, then she smiled widely.

“Great. We’re happy together. It feels like we've always been together, well, we almost also have, but not like that. So it’s perfect.”

“Well, that’s great. But don’t you... feel like trying something new?”

Surprised, Rainbow Dash quickly looked Pinkie Pie in the eyes. The other mare had a special, kinda lustful glance. Rainbow try to say something, but her brain won’t come up with any good things to say, so she just stared at Pinkie Pie, who begin to laugh softly.

“I just mean... You and Applejack have been friends for so long... You know each other so well, doesn't that get boring at some point? I mean... I’m sure somebody else would like to have you...”

Pinkie’s voice is now low and lustful. Her eyes held in Rainbow Dash’s glance. Inside Rainbow, something screamed that she should go away, that she should leave Pinkie right now, but her drunk feelings said something else. Why the hell not do something crazy?

Suddenly Rainbow realized that he took a step closer to Pinkie. They’re so close now, their bodies is only a few inches from each other. They look each other deeply in the eyes. Everything in Rainbow Dash screams that he should stop now, that he can’t do this to Applejack, that she loves her! But the alcohol in her body drowns all the thoughts, and he found herself gently touching Pinkie’s cheek.

“You’re so... so... you're just so gorgeous Rainbow Dash...”

Before she can stop it, Rainbow moved her head forward. Their lips meet, and they both melted into the kiss. The kiss is aggressive and drunk, but none of them is clear enough in the head to care. Rainbow Dash grabbed Pinkie Pie's mane and pulled her closer into the kiss. The sounds around them fade out, and it feels like it’s only them. Rainbow moaned softly.

This shouldn’t be happening, she is in a relationship. But she can’t stop now. It’s too late. And damn, she’s so fucking drunk right now. Like she cared...

“Rainbow?”

The voice pushed its way through her drunk brain and all the thoughts. Rainbow Dash can faintly see a figure out of the corner of her eye. It’s like the figure stands there alone, even if there is other people around. Rainbow Dash pulled away from Pinkie and turned her head to see the figure. There she stood. She looks like a little abandoned puppy and her beautiful green eyes are shiny with tears. Slowly Rainbow Dash stepped away from Pinkie.

“Applejack” she tried, and it felt like her heart broke into a million pieces, when she sees a tear running down Applejack’s face and saw her turn away and start pushing her way through the crowd.

What had she done?

Quickly she pulled away from Pinkie Pie and start running after Applejack, ignoring Pinkie’s voice calling. Applejack is already out of the doors, and Rainbow desperately pushed the doors open. The cold air slammed against her and made the mare's brain more clear.

The street looks empty at first, but then he see a pony running down the street. The person has that blonde ponytail, that Rainbow Dash could recognize everywhere. Tossing her drunkenness aside, Rainbow start running after Applejack. She almost slide on the asphalt that is still wet after it had been raining earlier, but she keep running.

“Applejack! Applejack... please... wait!”

She doesn’t stop, but keeps on going faster. It makes Rainbow more and more desperate.

Applejack finally stops, just to get in a carriage. Gasping after air, Rainbow Dash grabbed Applejack’s hoof, right before she got into the carriage.

That made Applejack turn around to face Rainbow Dash and harshly pushing her hoof away. Her perfect green eyes, that used to look at Rainbow with such a happy gaze, is now full of tears. She slowly talks to Rainbow Dash through clenched teeth, so it sounds like a growl.

“Leave. Me. The. Buck. Alone.”

Then Applejack opened the carriage door and got inside. It felt like something inside Rainbow Dash broke when Applejack slammed the door shut. The window was open, but Rainbow Dash can’t really see Applejack's face, because there weren't any lights on the street.

Applejack told the driver where to go, without looking at Rainbow Dash.

“Please Applejack... Listen to me, it was a mistake. Please don’t leave,” Rainbow cried out, feeling tears running down her face.

Applejack slowly looked at Rainbow Dash, and there is nothing but anger and sadness showed in her face.

“I just came here to pick you up from the party. I just came to pick you up....”

Then Applejack yelled to the driver to go, and Rainbow stepped back as the blue carriage zoomed away from her, loudly and fast down the streets, before it turns around a corner.

Rainbow Dash just stood there, looking after her, and she slowly fell down, covering her face in her hoofs, sobbing loudly, until an hour later where some of her friends looked for her, and found her crying at the road, crying out after Applejack, and she almost don’t even notice that they help her up and drive her to the nearest hotel.
