Another long day at work, another long day of battle for the net paycheck. Life could have been easier for one Eric Ashton, a transport coordinator for the local trucking company. Still, better than unemployment, and he did always have his hobby to go back to.
But Eric’s hobby was not the usual one, like sports, cars or video games. No, his was ponies. Well, cartoon ponies to be exact. Over the years he had assembled a cavalcade of technicolor ponies, big and small. Some were stock, others were commissioned by him personally. All the classics were there, like Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie too, along with some of his OC’s, like Abby, Smooth Operator, and the one he used online as his alias, Maple Gleam. But one doll, and character held a special place in his heart.
She was both warm at times, yet mysterious the next. Gentle and kind to those she loved, and ruthless to those who opposed her. A true ruler of the night itself, a lady of power and class, the one, the only, Princess Luna. His large vinyl plushie and countless renditions of drawn art were evidence enough that she was his Queen.
Every now and then he would come up with elaborate plans for her to topple her sister, always involving his other great weakness, magical shine. Be it rubber, latex, vinyl or even PVC, he adored the look of the slick materials. He never really bothered to justify his love for The Shine, as he liked to refer to it, his only concern was how to indulge in it. And such fun thought experiments like plans of world domination by his Queen were a great form od escapism, especially if one wanted to relax after a stressful period in everyday life.
As he ventured into his sleep, he dreamed of his dark princess. Her gracious wings, her wonderful voice, it was music to his ears. It was as if he could truly hear her.
“Wake up darling, your queen is here.” a familiar royal voice echoed softly across the room, and Matt did as instructed, lifting his eyelids ever so slowly.
To his surprise, a shiny black alicorn was sitting on his stomach, her wings folded nicely, her hoof touching his closed mouth to prevent him from screaming. Her calming demeanor quickly subdued the initial shock Matt had gotten from this most unusual and illogical visits. It also helped that he could feel her rubbery hoof on his lips, a sensation that he would usually associate with very wonderful private moments.
“I am sorry it took so long for you to meet me. I try and tend to all of my subjects, and you just happened to be one of the more remote ones. That of course does not mean I do not appreciate your admiration for me. In fact, your devotion has led me to you.” she said, and flopped her wings so she could get more comfortable.
“My... devotion?” Eric mumbled, still dazed both from sleep and the realization the princess of the night from a cartoon cam to visit him.
“Yes, and allow me to elaborate. You see, being the protector of sleep does have it’s benefits, and one of those is that I can and sometimes do, for my own amusement, venture into dreams of strangers. Usually it’s pretty silly; like falling of a cliff or being on island made out of candy. But every once in a while, I enter a dream that I keep coming back to. And a month ago, I came into yours. And I was amazed!”
Eric blushed, as he knew some of is dreams involving Luna were not of the “candy island” sort, but more for a mature audience.
“ Oh the magic your mind forced onto my alter ego, the way she became the essence of the night, a shiny entity that is both all-powerful and intoxicatingly alluring. Needless to say, I myself was sweating as she confronted my sister and converted her to her cause. That burning desire in her eyes and the joy on her face was addicting to watch. I had to get my hooves on magic like that in your dream. I spent all my days scouring the Royal Library, rivaling even Twilight with my diligence, the desire for such a wicked magic growing in me day after day, hour after hour. I was beginning to become desperate, afraid that such devious magic existed only in one’s servants mind. I screamed in rage, only for the walls of the library to shake, and only one book to drop out of it’s shelf. I looked upon it’s old covers, and as the title said “The Cult of The Shine”, my hopes were rekindled again. It was there were I came upon these verses that now my heart beats by:
What once was rigid and old
Shall become glossy and cold
Flesh and bone
Corrupted to the core
Darkness fluid and slick
Both strong and quick
Filled with dark might
To become the shiny night
I am The Shine
And it is me
Forever intwined
And ready to sink
Each and every soul
Into the shiny pit
Once I uttered them, and they echoed against the ancient walls, I felt a welcoming cold around me. Quickly, from the shadows itself did a black shiny substance emerge. It slithered right to me with a hypnotic swivel, leaving a smooth residue against the floor. I instinctively lowered my head in a submissive bow, and the substance obliged, making quick haste to jump onto my skin.”
Luna paused, lifted her head to the celling and took a long content breath. She tried her best to seem content with the story, but in her core, a lustful fire was burning, and it was hard to hide it.
“I wish I could explain you how it felt, but I can not. The joy of the forbidden dark fruit, but not taking it, not eating it, but being it. Being the thing you desire, the object of perfection you have soughed after ever since you first was graced by the knowledge such a thing existed. The only way you can truly know the joy is to, well experience it.”
And with that said, in alluring voice only she can pull off, Luna surged in for a kiss, making quick haste to attack Eric’s tongue with bravado and finesse of a experienced lover. He did not want to disappoint his captor, and tried his best to follow suite. Luna did reward his commitment, by snapping his clothes out of existence, leaving him bare and tingling form the magic that just moments ago enveloped his body. Only after what seemed an eon of joyous dance of tongues, Luna released Eric from her grasp. As he closed his mouth, a familiar smooth sensation greeted the upper piece of his mouth, along with the sweet smell of a material Eric held very close to his heart.
“Smells like rubber my Queen.” he said, his tongue squeaked along the way.
“Indeed my child, and this is just the begging. Be a good mare and swallow it all the way.” Luna said in a mentor like manner.
The word “mare” perplexed Eric, but somehow it made him more eager to swallow the ever growing shiny liquid his now converted glands were producing. He quickly liked his lips, leaving a black trail along the way. Luna smiled gently, only to cuddle on his chest.
“Now be still, and try and enjoy it as I will...” she said, only to begin to dissolve into black shiny goo.
The living embodiment of the night made quick haste with covering Eric’s complete body apart from his head. The familiar embrace of rubber made him hot and wanting for more, and as the thick substance made its way into his skin, each entrance giving him a comforting jolt of endorphin, he could hardly wait what was in store for him. The slow moving goo onto his face and the rest of his head confirmed his presumptions, and he was smiling from ear to ear. Sure, the silence once it entered his ears, and made them melt was jarring, but he knew Luna would take good care of him. Soon, with a loud pop, his new pony ears came into existence.
And as quickly the goo covered his eyes, so did the darkness great him. He could still feel the soft intrusion of the substance, as his body was quickly becoming one with it. But something was feeling off, as his fingers became number and number.
“Don’t be afraid Eric. I assure you this is not your end. In fact, it is only the beginning.”
Just as Luna’s voice echoed inside his mind, so did he receive new feeling in his... hooves? Eric was ecstatic, and even the thick goo could not stop him to give his new babies a small wiggle. The sensation of shrinkage was euphoric as well, as the human body became that of a young stallion, in his magical prime.
Luna’s odd chuckle took Eric aback somewhat.
“Oh sorry my precious, I was just looking at your thoughts, and I have to say, what come next will be fun.”
Eric’s stallion member became erect, so hard that it actually managed to fight the rubber, standing proudly facing the ceiling. But the Queen had other ideas, and the rubber began to stoke the shaft, having no mercy for the moans the stallion produced. Up, down with force and magic. No man, and no pony could handle such pleasure for long, and Eric complied, creaming the insides of his prison with white rubber. But, the shaft did not simply lower itself. No, it actually retreated forever, leaving his owner a mare. Each inch of it’s swansong was greeted by an orgasm, and Eric’s mind was nearing her limit by the time the magic was done. Was it due to Luna’s playful nature, or just the nature of the magic, a small horn formed with the same speed as the member vanished, making Eric a prime example of a unicorn, along with a dark velvet mane and equally elegant tail.
The goo, having finished the job and entered every cell, changing them into something similar to it, slowly regained the form of Luna, leaving a shiny black unicorn, still breathing heavily and riding the wave of nirvana she entered not so long ago. The young rubber mare opened her purple eyes slowly, still getting used to the fact her now cat-like irises collected the light with such efficiency the whole room, and the world trough the window seemed crystal clear.
“Oh my...” she said, only to meep in surprise at her new soft voice.
“Aren’t you the sweetest little rubber mare! I could just cuddle you silly!” Luna said, only to go and confirm her assumption by squeezing her new daughter ever so tight, making her rubber body squeak happily.
Eric could only smile in delight, as the warm body of her queen, her mother was embracing her, making her yearn for more. Her wishes were quickly granted, as a kiss on the new snout gave her both reason to enjoy the moment, and be very hopeful about her future at Luna’s side.
“As much as I enjoy your human name, I think a new one is order, don’t you think?” Luna teased, knowing the mind was in the midst of it’s own pony metamorphosis.
The young black mare looked deep into Lunas sapphire eyes, bathing in their beauty, almost reading her new name in them, Each letter gave her a warm tingle in her mind, giving her new knowledge of magic and her malleable body.
“... Endless.... Night my Queen. My name is Endless Night.” she concluded, a pony in body and mind.
“And a grand name it is, my Apprentice. What do you say, are you ready for a new shiny Equestria, with you and me making it happen?” Luna asked, her wing cuddling her newfound treasure.
“Nothing would bring me more pleasure my Queen.” Endless replied, with determination and devotion in her voice.
And as Endless Night said those words, both she and Luna vanished in a dark black void, leaving Earth for greener pastures. Endless knew she will come back, a true master of magic and rubber, after all of Equestria is coated in its glory, so that Earth can join her and Queen Luna’s Dark Empire.
