B: Walk straight through the forest dead ahead.

*Thinking yourself clever, you decide that the split in the middle of the forest is your best bet to get out of here the fastest. You reason that more paths would only lead to potentially lethal situations, and after making it this far without encountering one, you feel a surge of pride surge through you. It's only a matter of time before this is all over, and you can reward yourself with cookies and better video games as soon as you get back home.*

*You've never been more lost in your life, and it certainly doesn't help that you can hear the forest wildlife, calling out to you in search of "food." If you were to heed it, you are likely to be sucked by a mare...or worse. You bravely ignore it and keep on your way hastily, until the forest opens up a bit and you spy a sign dead ahead that appears to be covered in moss. Being careful not to get dirty, you lean down and etch off some of it with your fingers in an attempt to read the scrawls on it. Small arrows carved into it point left and right, with destinations written underneath.*

*Unfortunately for you, the names themselves have been scratched out, perhaps purposely, and only a few letters of each are still legible. The arrow pointing right reads "D--ge---- ---ar---" while the left side reads "P---v--l- --a-- --at---." You'd like to hazard a guess as to what either is supposed to spell out, but without a map of this world, you have no idea. With another suspiciously uninformed decision at hand, you mull over which way you want to go now. It's all preference, really.*
