*You recognize the first couple letters as most likely being "Ponyville," which must mean the sign leads to an official place. The train station is your best guess, and after walking for a couple minutes, you hear the telltale sound of a whistle blowing signalling a train now boarding passengers.*
*Trying to make your way to the station as stealthily as possible, you hide yourself behind a couple of trees and keep your eyes peeled for any stray mares looking to pick off your tasty-looking manhood. Luckily, there seems to be none around, even at the ticket counter, where it appears that no one is even manning the front.*
*Tilting your head curiously, you cautiously inch over towards the desk and peer inside through the glass, looking for anyone who could help you catch the train before it departs. What pops up out of the shadows is not a mare, but instead a small, indigo-coated filly who gazes up at you with shimmering yellow eyes and the brightest smile you've ever seen.*
"Hey there! Welcome to the Ponyville Train Station! Can i help you, mister?"
*Your first question is: why is a child running this station by herself? Your second question is, unfortunately, a grim reminder of your situation: Is she going to try something? There's a wall of glass separating the two of you for the moment, so you feel safe enough, but you don't know what these ponies are really capable of.*
*You explain that you need to get to Canterlot, and the filly smiles brightly before pushing a button off to the side of the desk. Directly in front pops out a ticket, and you glance at it for a brief moment even as the filly nods and points to the train behind you.*
"Well, go on, mister! You don't wanna miss it!"
*You hesitate before thanking the helpful little filly and grabbing the short piece of paper that read "PONYVILLE TO CANTERLOT, ONE-WAY TRIP." This is perfect for what you need, and you smile briefly as you think things are finally looking up.*
*The train door swung open with a yellow glow, showing that some kind of magic is operating it, and this *immediately** tips you off that someone else is on the train, because that little filly did not have a unicorn horn. You step inside, wary of other ponies inside, but before you can think about getting off the suspiciously empty train, the door slams shut and the train starts moving, leaving you with nowhere to go but to explore as you make your way to Canterlot.**
