The Love Potion

Sweetie Belle was busy tidying up the clubhouse for another day of crusading.

“Hi!” a voice shouted from behind her.

Sweetie Belle turned around to see who the visitor was. It was Pinkie Pie.

“Hi Pinkie Pie, what are you doing here?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“I just got a great idea for what you could do to get you cutie marks-“ she looked and noticed that Apple Bloom and Scootaloo weren’t there, “Hey, where are Apple Bloom and Scootaloo?”

“They’re just running a little late I guess,” Sweetie Belle was eager to change the subject back, “So, you said you had an idea for how we could get our cutie marks.”

Sweetie Belle waited eagerly for what Pinkie Pie was going to say.

“You could become Cutie Mark Crusader matchmakers.”

“No!” Sweetie Belle shouted immediately, “I mean, we already tried that. It didn’t turn out so well.”

“What happened?”

“Well we wanted to make sure Miss Cheerilee had a super special somepony for Hearts and Hooves day, and we found a book with a recipe for a love potion-“

“A love potion,” Pinkie Pie cut in.

“Yeah,” Sweetie Belle reached over and grabbed a book, “It’s right in this book.”

“Can I look at it?”

“Sure,” Sweetie Belle said and hoofed the book over.

Pinkie Pie opened the book and read the recipe.

“I have an idea!” she said as she closed the book and sped off.

“Wait,” Sweetie Belle tried to say, but it was too late. She had to make sure Pinkie Pie didn’t use that potion.
