The Nightmare and the Dream
Five hundred years ago, Celestia and Luna both were getting very weary. They only had one choice left. Leave their powers to Twilight. Celestia and Luna had faded away after, Celestia going to the vibrant, warm sun, and Luna going to the silent, cold moon. They had become what they had controlled. Twilight and Cadence were the only alicorns left in the world, aside from Chrysalis. Many enemies came in the way of Equestria, the war against the Wyverns and the Ponies of Equestria, fighting for land. Eventually the ponies had one because of their new ruler. Of course, some battles were lost. Luckily these battles were very short, and the ponies reclaimed their land many times. 500 years after the "death" of Celestia and Luna, Twilight had been in need of her mentors help. Then she realized, with their powers combined with hers she could create a NEW Celestia and Luna! First, though, she needed sleep to raise the sun in the morning. As she slept, two little balls appeared. One was a beautiful alicorn from her dream, Somnium, Twilight would call her. She had a beautiful gray-pink coat, and black main flowing as Celestia's did. She had always come to her after a good dream. This ball formed into that pony, still a bit see through and glowing, though. The next was a purplish-black ball. This one she called Tantibus. Twilight had always been scared of this one. Appearing from the shadows of her nightmares randomly, giving Twilight a scare. Somnium began to look the other ball as it formed. When it was just about time to raise the sun, Twilight had woken up to see it had already risen. Cadence couldn't of had done that. Who had? Twilight got up to see a ray of pink light fade away, coming from her castles hall. Rushing towards it, she saw the pony from her dreams looking around confused. "I've never seen this place before...", the pony said calmly, but a bit nervous. Twilight was so surprised she couldn't even gasp. Somnium turned around to look at Twilight Sparkle. "I've seen you before, do you happen to know how to get out of this? You seem to live here", the dream said.
