The Heartbreak, the love, and the manticor
if was out in the everfree forest to go see Zecora, for I had gotten poison joke. The effect was it made my voice sound like a girl. When I got to Zecora's house. She gave me some of the poison joke healer, and sent me on my way.
"AHHHHHHH!" I heard a blood chilling scream.
"What was that" I wondered, moving towards the sound.
"HELP ME" I heard the same voice yell.
By now I was sprinting towards the voice that was screaming, I could also hear a manticor's roar.
I saw the pony that was cowering under a bush. It was Fluttershy.
"Hey!" I shouted at the manticor, averting its gaze from her. It looked at me with such ferocity that I thought it would lunge at me any second.
It lunged at me, I brace myself for impact, and it hits. I stand up one as it tries to swat me with its paw, but I slide under it and jump up hard at its stomach. It connects and he roars in pain and falls down. I manage to get out from under the manticor and it falls to the ground in pain, but then it gets up again. It swats at me again, but this time he aims his claws at me. It rakes my back with its claws, right in the section of my back between my wings. I feel no pain as I kick him in the face. Making him rear back.
He rears back and almost crushes me, but misses me by a few centimeters. I hit him in Tue face with my hoof and that, was the turning point. I had taken too much damage and was suffering I pain, but finally the manticor ran away.
I saw Fluttershy still cowering under the Bush "Fluttershy, you can come out now, the manticor ran away." I softly whispered to her.
She turned around and gasped when she saw me. "Oh no, I'm sorry." She said, tears forming in the corners of her eyes.
"Fluttershy, you didn't do anything." I said, hoping to calm her.
"Keyshard, I angered the manticor when I tripped and fell in its way. It's my fault you have all these injuries." By now, Fluttershy was crying. She looked back at me, and I saw and felt her pain, I was scratched badly on my flank. And I broke my leg bone.
"This never would have happened if I hadn't angered the manticor." She said.
"It's in the past now, so let's go home now." She was asleep, so I had to carry her to her house. After I did that, I went to the hospital and started making my slow recovery.
"Your going to be here for at least three months." Said a nurse.
I groaned, this was gonna be the longest three months of my life.
One day, I had lost count of how long I had been there after I don't know how long.
Fluttershy and her friends came to visit me.
"How are you girls doing?" I asked.
"Pretty good." Said Twilight Sparkle.
Fluttershy hid behind her friends and wouldn't look my in the eye, so i just let her be. I played with a ball that rainbow dash gave me as a present, it wasn't like I could get anymore bored than I already was.
"You have been released from the hospital." I heard a voice say.
I turns out, it was the voice from before. I got up from my bed and left the hospital.
The first thing I did Waitangi to Fluttershy's house. Her friends were saying that she isn't felling well. So I haven't seen her in a while. When I got to her house, she was crying.
"What happend", I asked, hoping she would answer.
"My coltfriend was cheating on me ever since I started dating him two years ago. And he broke up with me after telling me he was cheating on me, and that he was going to propose to his flillyfriend." She managed to say between sobs.
The truth is that I have always had a crush on fluttershy, but she has been dating that colt ever since I moved here a year ago.
"My friends told me it was gonna happen," she said. "But I wouldn't listen, he had given me clues, like canceling our dates and saying he was going out with a friend. I was just too oblivious and stubborn to realize it."
She then suddenly jumped off of the couch and hugged me tightly. I just hugged her back, enjoying the moment.
"I was also oblivious to something else too." She said. "I've noticed the way you look at me Key, and I know that you like me, but a few days ago I realized, that I like you too." She said.
I just blushed and said "Well yea, I do like you, and I like you a lot." I said
Then she kissed me. I opened my eyes wide, but then closed them and returned the kiss. She was licking my lips, begging for entry, and I let her. As we fought a battle for dominance. She won because I let her. As we broke the kiss for the sake of needing oxygen.
"That was the best thing I have ever felt." I said, my heart racing.
"So does this mean we're...?" Fluttershy asked.
"Dating?" I said. She just blushed, as did I. "Yes, it does."
When I went home later I just collapsed on my bed, without a worry or a care. I was just worrying about what fluttershy's friends would think.
The next day, me, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Spike, Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash. We're eating lunch.
"So I heard about you two," said rainbow dash.
Fluttershy just smiled and I had a blush on my face. I sighed
"This is going to take awhile."
