A owner of the alarm sleepily reached out there hand and tried to turn it off, missing the first few times until they finally pushed the snooze button. The owner of the bed sat up and walked out of there room and too the bathroom. They did there business, brushed there teeth and tried to wipe the sleep from there eyes. Big mac looked himself over in there mirror, he sighed again and left to his room. There he added deodorant and changed into some jeans, a white shirt and a red coat with brown on the top and green apples on the collars. He brushed his hair a little, just making sure it didn't look like he just got out of bed, which was partly true. After he had finished, he went to go wake up his sister Applejack. As he approached her door he could here her alarm going off. He entered the room to see that his sister had a pillow over her head and a hand trying to find the clock to turn it off. Big Mac let out another sigh before he when over to her alarm clock and shut it off for her. She mumbled something before pulling the blanket back over her. Big Mac sighed and left the room. After a while he came back with bottle of ice cold water. He undid the cap and poured a little onto his sister. After he did she immediately shot up and glared at her older brother. Mac only nodded before he left the room so his sister could get dressed. He went down the stairs of there ho,e and headed to the kitchen. His littlest sister Applebloom was still asleep, as well as his Grandmother, Granny Smith. He started to work on his breakfast when he hear footsteps coming down the stairs, he turned to see Applejack who only glared at him again before she sat down. "That wasn't necessary," Applejack said, deciding to break the silence. Big mac only seemed to laugh a little at this as he started the pancakes. Applejack let out another sigh as she looked back up to her Brother. "You lookin forward to school today Mac?" Applejack asked, waiting for an answer. Big Mac poured the pancake mix in before he looked over to his sister and nodded, "Eeyup," Big mac Answered. After they had had there fill of breakfast they walked out of the house, gabbing there bags on the way out. They climbed into a Red Ford 250 with a 440 diesel horsepower engine. As Mac turned the key he seemed to smile as it started. He had worked hard and saved every last bit of his money to by this truck, and after he did, her was happier then kid on Christmas. He started to drive along the road heading to there new school. As he drove he saw a few of the students walking to the school, and stopped as a few of them crossed the street. After they had finished he continued on there drive, as they approached the school, they both whistled at the size of it. Mac pulled into a space that was a little a ways from the front but not to far away. They locked the door and began to walk, the bell hadn't rung yet, from all the students that seemed to be sitting around talking. They had arrived there early so they could pick up there schedules and then from there they would be on there way. As they entered the School they could see many students by there lockers talking with there friends. They made there way to the Principles office and entered. After what seemed like forever and the usual talk about school rules they left. with schedules in hand and there lockers assigned. They decided it would be best to wait in the cafeteria until the bell had rung. After they had entered the cafeteria, they took seats away from each other. They were not far from each other, but still had there distance. Bic Mac looked over st his sister to see a very energetic student talking to her. He watched closely as she took her Stetson and tried it on, before giving it back to Applejack and being dragged away from her table by the pink haired girl. Big Mac chuckled at this and slightly mumbled to himself "That was quick." Mac sighed again to see that he sat at this table alone. He had grown accustomed to this and looked down as the bell rang, signaling the start of First Period. The first few classes seemed to fly by, since it was the first day of school. The next bell he heard signaled Lunch and he walked off to the lunchroom. He walked over to the lunch line, and after he saw the food, Mac sat down at a vacant table, making a mental note to bring a lunch next time. He scanned the lunchroom and saw Applejack, sitting at a table with five other girls, there was the energetic one from before, one had a rainbow hair color, another seemed to talk less than the others, another one was reading a book while she talked to Applejack, and the last one seemed to be checking her makeup and trying to offer Aj some. Big Mac looked at his one vacant booth, however it wasn't vacant, there were two people sitting in front of him. Both had a brown hair color, but they both seemed very different. one of them was simply setting out his lunch while the other looked at Big mac. They remained silent until one of them decided to break the silence. "Hey there, my names Caramel and this is my good friend Whooves," Caramel explained as he offered a hand. Big Mac took Caramels hand and shook it. "Names Big Mac, but you can call me Mac," Mac replied to Caramel who took his hand away shaking it "Nice to meet you Mac, but next time you don't need to shake so hard," Bic Mac chuckled at this and nodded, before looking at Whooves. Whooves had on a long brown coat and a bow tie and looked up at him, offering a hoof. "Pleasure to meet you," Whooves stated as Mac shook his hand, making sure not to grip it to tight. After there introductions they talked a little and told each other about themselves, until Caramel seemed to look over at the table with the Six girls. "Now i tell you, that new girl with the hat over there is pretty fine," Caramel said as he made her figure in the air with his hands, and looked over to Mac "i wouldn't mind tapping that, what about you guys," Caramel asked? Whooves just shook his head and Bic Mac glared at Caramel before speaking, "Nnnope," Mac replied while Caramel looked at him. "And why the not," Caramel asked as he looked at Mac. Mac looked at Caramel a little bit before replying to him. "Cause that's mah sister" Mac replied as Whooves burst out laughing, and Caramel tried to find out what would be best to say next, knowing that he might do something from how he described his sister, however Bic Mac started to laugh as well and soon was followed by Caramel. They all shared in this laugh before finally stopping. The end of lunch bell was about to ring, before it did, the three of them exchanged contact information before the bell rang and they went there separate ways. They day seemed to end quicker now for Mac, he had made friends on his first day, ones he would actually be able to hang out with. As the end of school bell rang, Bic Mac made his way to his truck. To his surprise, Applejack as leaning up against the passenger side door and was talking to her friends. Mac stopped and dug out his keys, he grinned as he pushed the red alarm button on the keys. Applejack, along with her friends seemed to jump at this, causing him to laugh as he turned it off and made his way to the truck. AJ glared at him as he entered the truck, AJ apologized to her friends as she entered the truck and glare at her brother as they drove off. After a while Mac finally thought to break the silence. "How was you first day?" Mac asked as he glanced over at AJ. She smiled at this and quickly replied "Well it was good, cept i think one of mah teachers has it out for meh, but i did make some new friends, five to be honest." Applejack said with a smile on her face "What about you." Aj asked her brother. Bic Mac thought about what to say and then smiled. "Well mah classes were good, and ah even made a few friends," Mac replied to his sister. She smiled at the thought of Mac finally having friends as the Truck drove over a hill, Sweet Apple Acres now in sight. An Unexpected Idea An Unexpected Idea Big Mac woke up to the alarm again, today was Wednesday, and school was starting to get going. The teacher were done with introductions and were starting on there lectures. Mac hit the snooze button on his alarm and got up, still sleepy and left his room, doing his morning activities. Mac checked on AJ again and saw she was asleep so he left to get the ice water again. As Mac entered the room to pour some on his sister he saw she was sitting up, still sleepy however, but she was able to give Mac the "don't even think about it" look. Mac smiled and left so his sister could get ready for the school day. Ounce again, he was the one to make breakfast, this time however he chose to make an Omelette, and a lunch for himself so he wouldn't have to look at the Cafeteria Food. Mac made an Apple Jam Sandwich for his lunch. AJ came down the stair yawning and walked to the table and started to dig into her breakfast, while Mac ate his slower. After they had both finished, AJ got some money for the cafeteria food and followed Mac out of the door. They made there way to the Truck and entered. After they were strapped in they began there way to school. The drive there was the same as the two days before. They would stop for the occasional student and then be on there way again. AJ pointed to a space that was a little closer, Mac was going to pull into another one, but AJ insisted on the one she was pointing at. Mac sighed and pulled into the space, not knowing why his sister had insisted on this spot. He then looked at to who parked near him, one was a Suzuki Hayabusa Motorcycle with a Rainbow haired driver and a shivering girl, and on the other side was a Volkswagen Type 2 where three girls got out. Mac sighed again and stepped out of the Truck and started to leave, before he could AJ grabbed his hand and gestured to the girls. "I'd like y'all to meet my new friends, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy," AJ explained and then gestured to me, "and this here is my Brother Big Mac." The girls all said there own greeting as I left, heading into the school to meet up with Caramel and Whooves. As I entered the school i looked around for them, finally spotting them near the lockers, and made his way to them. "Now I'm telling you, shes just playing hard to get," Caramel explained to Whooves, who only rolled his eyes. "She has a Boyfriend already," Whooves said bluntly. "Did I say hard to get, I meant," before Caramel could finish Whooves cut him off. "Just drop it already man," Whooves explained to his friend. Mac walked up to them at the end of there conversation, but still could hear what they were talking about and only chuckled at this. Whooves began to laugh a little to as Caramel glared at them. The bell then rang and they decided to meet up at lunch. Today seemed to pass by, except one of his teachers already gave them a pop quiz before lunch, to see what they knew. Mac made his way to his locker and grabbed his lunch and headed off to the lunch room. He walked in and looked for his friends, once he had spotted them he went over and sat down with them. Mac unpacked his simple lunch and began to eat as he noticed Whooves seemed out of it, staring into the distance. Mac looked over and saw a few students, but couldn't tell who, or what he was looking at. Mac waved in front of him, but Whooves still had that blank stare. Caramel noticed this and stopped Mac. "Oh don't worry hes just looking at Derpy" Caramel explained, only to have Whooves break from his trance and glare at him. "Her name is Ditzy Doo," Whooves said, glaring at Caramel. "See I told you," Caramel replied happily. Whooves only sighed at this, "But I don't think she even notices me," Whooves said before looking down a little. Mac looked at Whooves and thought of what to say, "Don't worry Whooves, I got faith in ya." Mac told to Whooves who seemed happy to hear this. Caramel was about to say something but then began to think. As lunch came to an end, Caramel seemed to not speak, still deep in thought. Mac finished up his final glass and left, a bag full of textbooks and homework. As he made his way to his truck he saw that AJ,Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy throwing there bags in the back of his truck. Mac walked over and looked at his sister, raising a brow as she simply smiled. "Well we thought we'd have a study session and work on our homework, and we agreed on the Farm," AJ explained to Mac, and then giving him a kinda sad look. "Fine, y'all can have your homework secession, just don't bother me" Mac replied to his sister's look. Mac started the truck and started off, with her friends following, one of them gaining speed. Mac looked in the Mirror to see a motorcycle gaining speed, as she drove up next to them. she then started to pull in front of them, Mac simply sped up a little, so she couldn't pass him, and they kept this up until they were at the farm. AJ got out and met up with her friends, except for Rainbow Dash who pulled up next to the truck. she then looked at Mac, "Next time I won't go so easily on you" Dash said before she was off to AJ and the girls. Mac smiled slightly at this before he headed inside, and up to his room to begin on his one homework. He went through the first few parts with a breeze, but the rest gave him a little challenge, but he did manage to finish. He thought an award was in order so he went down to the Fridge for the Apple Pie he had baked the other day. However when he opened the fridge, he saw it wasn't there. Knowing who took it he decided it was best to leave it, and get her in the morning. AJ and her friends seemed to have mixed results and they ended up staying for dinner. Mac kept to himself, being the only guy in the family, he would tend to do that a lot. As he was about to go to bed, he got a call on his Cellphone. He saw it was Caramel and answered it. "Why are ya'll callin this late," Mac asked, but no answer came, there was a click before Caramel spoke. "Sorry. had to get Whooves on the line to" Caramel explained. "Ok, we are all here, now can you explain the need to call," Whooves asked. "Ok now I've been thinking and I know of a solution," Caramel explained. "And what solution are ya'll talking about," Mac asked? "Well did you know that Derpy was trying out for the Cheer-leading Team," Caramel began. "Where is this going," Whooves asked, now curious. "Well what do all cheer leaders and most girls look for," Caramel asked. "Intelligence," Whooves said, aiming it to Caramel. "Being a Gentleman" Mac said. Caramel snickered on the other end before speaking "Nope, two words gentlemen, Football Players" Try OutsMac woke up earlier than usual, and set up his alarm to make sure of this to happen. Mac got ready for the school day, and did his morning routine and then tip toed down the stairs. Mac made sure to get ice water from the freezer and crept back up the stairs and into AJ's room and hit the snooze on the alarm before it could go off. As Mac looked over his sleeping sister he grinned, now he could get back at her for taking his Apple Pie. He slowly pulled off her blanket and poured the ice cold water all over his sleeping sister. AJ immediately shot up and shivered as she glared at Mac, before she could yell Mac covered her mouth. "This is what ya'll get for taking my pie," Mac stated plainly for her. She looked away and was going to say something before motioning Mac to leave. Mac only smiled and left, closing the door behind him. Mac made his way down the stairs and stopped at the calender. Today was Friday, they had already been in school for a week. Mac shook this off and started to work on breakfast again, this time just making a simple bowl of cereal. As he was eating AJ came down the stairs, her hair was still wet. Mac's grin seemed to grow from seeing this, while AJ seemed to not enjoy it as much. As Mac ate his breakfast he could see his sister was making the lunch today, after she had finished she sat down and poured her own bowl of Cereal. After we had finished she handed me my lunch and walked off to the truck, I looked at it and then left for the Truck as well. As they made there way to school, Mac couldn't help but remember what Caramel had said the night before about joining the Football Team. Mac had never really thought of joining any teams before, but he did want to hear Caramel out on this at least. They stopped at the same Crosswalk and then continued on there way. AJ made sure Mac pulled into the same parking place, the one near her friends. Mac would avoid the argument and would park there, Mac would then leave so she and her friends could talk. As Mac entered the school he saw Whooves entering the lunchroom, Mac followed and met up with him, they then sat at one of the booths to talk. "So Whooves, ya'll know much bout what Caramel said," Mac said, breaking the awkward silence. "Don't know to be honest, but knowing Caramel it should be a load of fun," Whooves stated sarcastically. They talked like this for a while but Caramel seemed to never show up. The bell soon rang and they went on there way, not knowing what Caramel had planned for them. As the Lunch bell rang Mac made his way to lunch and sat at the usual table, and to his surprise Mac saw Caramel sitting there next to Whooves. As Mac unpacked his lunch, he carefully inspected it. Mac then grinned as he saw the sandwich, without even unpacking it he made his way over to his sister's table. Mac then went over to Rainbow Dash. "I was wondering if yall were interested in havin this here sandwich," Mac asked as he looked at his sister. "Thanks man," Rainbow replied as she took the sandwich and unwrapped it. "Dash don't," Applejack started to object to this, but she was to late. As Mac walked away, Dash's face seemed to change colors and then she downed her Water, along with anything she could get her hands on. Mac sat down and then looked at Caramel, who seemed to be laughing at what just happened. "So Caramel, ya'll care to explain what you meant on the phone," Mac asked, snapping Caramel out of his laughing fit. "Yes, I'm also interested about it to," Whooves said, agreeing with Mac. Caramel took a deep breath before starting, "Well from what I've seen and from book and movies, I've found a way to our problem, like the Football Team. For example most cheerleaders tend to date someone on the Football team. As well as improving our social lives. I'm talking about parties, and being remembered, plus all the Women who want to date a Football Player, and think of the scholarships," Caramel explained as he looked at us, a smile on his face. Whooves thought about it and especially about Ditzy Doo. "Ok, i guess I'm in," Whooves said. They now both looked at Mac. Mac thought about it, and then he thought of the Scholarships, then his Family wouldn't have to pay for his college. "Eeeyup," Mac said, showing his friends he was in. Caramel smiled at this, "Good, cause I already signed us up, and we meet after school so the Coach can look us over," Caramel said, and then left before we could talk. "Looks like we would be part of his plan even if we had said no," Whooves stated. "Eeeyup," Mac replied as the bell rang, meaning the end of lunch. Mac had informed his sister that he wouldn't be able to give her a ride home, AJ only sighed at this and decided to ride home with Pinkie Pie. Apparently there were a lot of students staying after for various clubs, one of which was Rainbow. Mac then left to meet up with Caramel and Whooves in the Gym.They waved him over as they saw many students come in. Then there would be a coach to call away some of the student that signed up for that team. Mac waited for his name to be called, along with Caramel and Whooves. As Mac was waiting he felt someone to his side punch his shoulder. Mac looked over, expecting to see Caramel, but instead he saw it was Rainbow Dash. "That's for the sandwich," Dash said as she looked at Mac. It took him a moment to realize what she said and he only laughed at this a little, getting him another punch on the shoulder. "It's not funny," Dash said playfully. "Not my fault you fell for it," Mac replied. They talked a little until they were called away to there own teams, Dash to Soccer, and Mac to Football. As Mac went to were he was told, he was joined by Caramel and Whooves. They then stood in a line as the Coach walked out. "Listen up here, My name is Thad Castle, and I will be your coach this season, and I will only be taking the best of you, since today is getting late, I want all of you to run ten laps around the field, the fist 60 back will be hear on Monday to train, where only 45 of those 60 will make it so start running," Coach yelled. After that we all began to run our 10 laps. Mac was doing fine, keeping a steady pace, Whooves was having trouble at first but seemed to keep his own pace, Caramel however was struggling, but when he noticed some of the Cheerleaders were watching, he got a sudden burst of energy and began to run as fast as he could. The laps had ended as quickly as they began, most the students who hadn't made the cut left disappointed, luckily Mac,Whooves, and Caramel had managed to make the cut. "Ok now those of you who made it, good job, and I will be looking forward to getting rid of the rest of you come the next week," Coach said before he left. Mac made his way to his truck, after saying goodbye to his friends, agreeing to meet up over the weekend and train. As he approached his truck he saw Rainbow, leaning up against her Motorcycle as she drank from her water bottle. She stopped as she saw Mac approach and went over to him. "So how did you do," She asked as she look at him. "Well I made it, what about you," Mac replied. "Well of course I made it," Dash replied as Mac chuckled at this. "You seem sure of yourself, you wont know till Monday," Mac said as Dash glared at him. "Care to make a wager," Dash said as she looked at him. "Depends what it is," Mac said as he looked at Rainbow. "You gotta sit at our table and hang out with us at the beginning of school for a week," Dash said trying to keep a straight face. "Deal," Mac said, and after he shook on it Dash began to laugh. "Whats so funny," Mac asked as he looked at Dash. "Trust me, you'll see how bad it is after one day," Dash replied before getting on her Motorcycle and speeding off. Mac thought about this as he stepped into his Truck and began on his way home. Training DayMac woke up earlier than usual, today was the start of the weekend and he had to get up extra early, not only to start on his chores, but to pick up Caramel and Whooves so they could help to start off there training and later train for the team. Mac got dresses, only with a simple pair of jeans and a white shirt. Mac did his routine and decided to pick up breakfast, for him, Caramel ,and Whooves. Mac crept down the stairs, hoping not to wake up anybody. Mac grabbed some money and his keys and headed for his truck. Mac started the engine and hope that didn't wake anyone as he drove off. As Mac drove he saw the sun wasn't even up yet, the ride into town was peaceful. He drove on the nearly vacant street, heading for his first stop, Whooves. As Mac drove up to Whooves house, he saw it was simple made like most houses. In the backyard Mac could see what looked like some sort of blue box, but he didn't pay much mind to it. To Mac's surprise, Whooves was on the front porch waiting for him. Whooves came down and got into the truck, along with Mac. "So why ya'll up so early?" Mac asked as he drove off, now to get Caramel, "Well to be honest, couldn't sleep," Whooves replied as Mac turned into a driveway. "This must be it," Mac said as he looked at the house. "Figures," Whooves said. Mac then got out and went up to the door, and decided it would be best to call him, as he did he heard ringing, not from inside, but near a bush. As Mac got near it, he saw a dressed Caramel sleeping on the ground. Mac sighed and gently picked him up, carrying him to the truck, and setting him in the back, behind Whooves. Mac then got in and gunned it back, stopping hard so Caramel would smack into Whooves seat. Caramel let out a low groan as he sat up, "Uhhhhhh where am I," Caramel asked as he looked around. "In mah truck on our way for breakfast, then hard labor," Mac answered. "Got it, breakfast," Caramel said. As they made there way to the farm, with breakfast finished, and the awkward conversation of Caramel hitting on the married woman done, the farm was now in sight. As Mac drove up he could see that AJ, Apple Bloom, and Granny were already up and were just finishing up breakfast. Mac pulled up and stopped, he turned off the car and stepped out, followed by Caramel and Whooves. Mac then ran inside to get the list from Granny, while Whooves and Caramel waited out side. While Mac was gone Caramel saw AJ coming out and saw her, he then whispered something to Whooves. "Really Man," Whooves said, a bit to well, because AJ was coming over now. "So what did yall say," AJ asked Caramel. Meanwhile Whooves took this opportunity to leave them to talk. "I don't think you'll find it funny," Caramel said as he looked at AJ "Naw i insist, I love a good joke," AJ said as she looked at Caramel. "Well I said that since your a farm girl, you must like it hard, rough and in the back of a barn," Caramel said with confidence. They both seemed to laugh a little, and as Mac walked out with the list, he saw AJ deck Caramel in the face before storming off. They began there work as soon as Mac got back, the work was hard, especially for Caramel and Whooves, but they got it done, and complained very little. As they did each task they would check it off of the list, and by the time it was lunch, they only had a few things left. All they would have to do was fix a fence and make a few repairs in the barn. They all went inside for lunch, sweaty from the day before, however as they entered the house, they heard more noise then usual. Mac then noticed that his sister and her friends were here. They were all working on the lunch together, Mac let out a sigh, as much as Apple Bloom and her friends meant well, they were not the best cooks yet. Mac and his friends sat down at the table and chatted as Sweetie Belle brought out there food. Caramel dug into the food, while Whooves and Mac examined the food, it seemed fine so they ate it. For once the food was good and seemed alright. After they had finished they walked out and headed for the fence. It was a walk but they eventually began to work on it. It didn't take as long as they thought, so they made there way to the barn. There were a few holes in the roof, and the door needed to be replaced, but other than that there was no problem. Mac worked on the roof, while Caramel and Whooves worked on the door. With there combined effort they were able to finish the job. Now came the training for the football team. They all started by running laps abound the farm house and through the orchard. They would do this a few times until they could not run anymore. Mac then led the group in push-ups and sit-ups. That was the easier of the parts. Mac then set up a few hay bales for them to try and tackle. Whooves was the fist to go and did not do to well at first, but got better over time. Caramel who thought this would be easy was wrong, he had the most trouble, but after many, many attempts, Caramel finally succeeded. Mac was the one who did the best, his first attempt, he knocked down the bales of hay. There final test for training for the day was catching. That was more relaxed for them, just running around throwing around a football and having a good time. As they finished there training Caramel and Whooves were on the ground breathing heavily, while Mac was leaning against the side of the barn, even Mac was worn out from the day. The sun was setting and a cool breeze felt good to them, As they made there way to the house, Caramel and Whooves would be staying the night so they could train tomorrow. They all went inside the house and headed for Macs room. After which they all took turns in the shower, washing away the sweat and dirt. After that they all went to bed, exhausted from the day of training. The WeekendMac woke up early on Saturday, and his muscles ached a little more than usual, but he didn't mind it. As Mac got up he could see Caramel fell asleep on the floor in the center of the room, while Whooves was sleeping at Mac's desk. Mac got up and moved around as not to wake his friends, and completed his morning routine before he headed down the stairs to start on breakfast. As Mac did Whooves came down, still rubbing his eyes from just waking up. "What's that smell," Whooves asked. "Pancakes," Mac replied bluntly. Whooves then sat down at the kitchen table, still not fully awake. "What do we have planned for today," Whooves asked. "More training and chores," Mac answered. Whooves only sighed as he looked down at the table, and then back at Mac, thinking of breakfast, and as he breathed in, there was a scream, followed by a loud smacking sound, and a door being slammed shut. "Caramels up," Whooves said as he looked to the stairs. "Eeeyup," Mac answered. "And so is your sister," Whooves said as he looked back to Mac. "Eeeyup," Mac replied to Whooves. Moments after the words were exchanged by Mac and Whooves, Caramel came down holding his bright red cheek. He sat down with Whooves and looked at Mac who was finishing off the Pancakes, while Whooves was trying to hold back his own laughter. Caramel only glared at him, causing Whooves to burst out laughing. "It's not funny," Caramel said as he looked at Whooves. "Oh I think it is," Whooves said as he laughed harder. Caramel could only glare before Mac had finished with breakfast and set it down in front of Caramel and Whooves and then a place for himself. As Mac sat down to eat AJ came down, dressed for the day and ready for work and breakfast. As she came into the kitchen, she glared at Caramel, before turning her attention to Mac. "Hey, could we talk for a minute Mac," AJ asked as she headed into another room. Mac thought it would be best to follow her, so he set down his drink and headed into the next room, following AJ. "Now sis, I'm sorry about Caramel," Mac began, before AJ stopped him. "It's not that Mac," AJ said as she looked at him. "Then what is it," Mac asked, wondering what it could be. "You see, a few of mah friends are comin over, and well," AJ began before this time Mac stopped her. "I'll keep mah eye on Caramel," Mac said, looking off towards the kitchen. AJ smiled brightly and hugged Mac "Thanks Bro, oh and one more thing," AJ said, pulling away from Mac. "What is it," Mac asked, looking at his sister. "Could ya'll pick them up, please," AJ said, giving Mac the eyes. Mac only sighed and nodded, AJ hugged him again and pulled away and heading to the kitchen. "And don't ya'll worry, I'll keep your friends workin," AJ said to Mac as he left to go to his truck. As Mac entered his truck he already saw a piece of paper, on where to pic up all five of her friends, only leading Mac to sigh again, and begin on the drive. The first stop would be Dash, since she was one of the farther of the friends, he decided to get her pickup over with first. Mac drove up to a fairly large house, well larger then the ones he has seen before and got out of the truck and walked up to the door, he knocked a few times until a man answered the door, and seem to look at him strangely. "What ever it is your offering, were not interested," the man said, as he went to shut the door, but was stopped by Mac. "Actually AJ told meh to come pick up Dash for her," Mac said, hoping to persuade him. "Oh, my Bad, names Rainbow Blaze," Blaze said as he offered a hand. Mac smiled and shook it "Names Big Macintosh," Mac said as he released Blazes hand. "I'll go and get Dash for you," Blaze said as he left, letting Mac sit in the living room. As he did another person walked in, she was an older woman who looked at Mac and smiled. "Well hi there, are you a friend of Dash," the woman said as she looked at Mac. "Well mam, ya see," Mac was then interrupted as Dash came into view, and hugged the Woman. "Hey Mom, back from the store already," Dash said as she released the hug. "Yeah I got everything," The woman began, "Also," the woman said as she leaned in and whispered something to Dash. As she pulled away Dash went out the door as Mac followed, not sure of what happened. Mac got in the drivers side, while Dash sat in the passenger seat. They then drove off to pick up the rest of AJ's friends, which took longer than Mac had wanted. However after the long trek of actually finding them all, they each took a seat, however since the truck didn't have many seats, they had to sit three to a seat, causing Dash to sit in the Middle between Mac and Pinkie. Mac didn't like having to drive in these conditions, but deep down, he didn't mind being close to Dash. As he reached the farm gates, Mac was already tired of there conversation, and as soon as the wheels were on the Apple Family's property, he gunned the engine, as he went down the dirt road, some of the girls screamed, Pinkie just laughed, but Dash seemed to love the speed change, and even though Mac would hear about this from his sister, he was glad he was able to see that smile on Dash's face. Mac finally stopped the truck at the side of the barn, AJs Friends all left the truck and started thanking that it was over, I then looked over and nearly froze. I could see Whooves hauling a large cart of apples, while Caramel was trying to rip a stump out of the ground by hand. They both were drenched in sweat, and looked as if they were about to pass out from exhaustion, Caramel looked worse though. I looked over again and saw AJ under the shade, drinking some water as she called her friends over to her, they all left, but Dash hung back a little. "Thanks for the speed, I was getting sick of all the sissy talk," Dash said as she waved goodbye to Mac, before she joined his sister. Mac walked over to Whooves who was already passed out and picked him up, and then walked over to Caramel and picked him up, as he did he heard Caramel mutter something, but didn't pay much mind to it. As he walked away from the orchard and to the house, he didn't notice that a certain Rainbow haired girl was watching him as he left. Mac entered the house and set them both in chairs as he left to go and get some water. It took some time, but Mac came back with the water, Whooves was some what awake and took the water and sipped it, while Caramel continued to mutter. This time Mac leaned in to hear what his friend was saying. "This aint over yet," Caramel muttered as he took the water and guzzled it down before staring off into the field and glaring at Apple Jack. Author's Note Hey it's me, sorry if I don't make any new chapters for a while, I'm getting busy with job hunting and the fun of summer reading, so wish me luck. and sorry the chapter isn't finished, i had to lay down because of a headache, but the chapter will be finished when I feel better. Football Training StartsBig Mac up with sore muscles as he looked over at the clock, it was still to early to wake up, but Thad had wanted all the remaining players to be at the school at dawn so they could train to become players. As Mac got up he had still wondered how Caramel had gotten him into this. Mac got dressed and left the house yawning, he decided to get breakfast at school today so he wouldn't be late. Mac walked outside and could feel the cold air against his skin, it was fall already so that meant Winter would be coming soon. Mac got into his truck and started the engine and leaned back into his chair so the engine could warm up. After a while he began on his way to the school, at the stop sign he could see a few other students walking to the school as well. Mac pulled into the usual parking space and got out and began to walk to the field. Mac could see that there were fewer players now than on Friday. This meant that Mac and his friends had a higher chance of getting onto the team. There were now 40 people all shivering, that meant 5 had already givin it up, and if 35 were allowed on the team, that meant as long as they lasted longer than 5 others they would be on the team and then tryout for positions. Thad came out onto the field carrying a box of Apple Fritters, the smell intoxicated Mac and everyone else on the team, Thad then stopped and set the box down on a table. "Listen up, there are only 35 Apple Fritters, and 40 of you, so that means theres only enough for those who can make the team, today you will train until you can not even stand on you own, to start i want you all to run as fast as you can and dodge this football," Thad said as he picked up a football, "if you are hit, then you can go home, if you start to cry, i will hit you again." Thad then blew his whistle as all the players rushed to the other end of the field, Mac looked over and could see one of the students get pegged with the Football and hit the ground hard. Mac could only run faster, as they had reached the other end, Mac counted 36 players, that meant Thad had gotten most of them, and now only one of them would be kicked off. Thad walked up and down as he looked at each and everyone one of us, the sun was starting to rise as more students came, Thad finally stopped as he pointed to shortest player and gave him the sign that he was kicked off. Thad then smirked, "Now to decided who does what the Fritters are first come, first served, so go," That said to us Mac and the other players made a dash for the Apple Fritters, as they all did Mac grabbed 3 and ran over to Whooves and Caramel, they thanked him and ate, after they had all gotten a Fritter Thad dismissed them and told them to the school. Each of the players groaned as they crossed the field, they were all sore from the training but proud to be on the team, as they entered the school Caramel caught up with Mac and Whooves. "Ok, not exactly my idea, but we made it," Caramel said excited "Yeah, not my cup of tea, but i guess your right," Whooves said. "I just hope this is your last scheme Caramel," Mac said as he looked at Caramel. Caramel only snicked as he went on his way to class, followed by Whooves and Mac. As lunch approached Mac, Caramel, and Whooves all met up in the lunch room and went to see what position they had gotten, when they had got there, a large crowd was surrounding the sheet of paper with the names of there players, Mac and Caramel were able to push the other students out of the way as Whooves got up close and read the names, "OK looks like I got Running back, Caramel, you got Wide Receiver, and as for Mac, WOW!! You got Quarter Back Mac", Whooves stated as he left the mosh pit of students. Mac, Caramel, and Whooves all patted each other on the back and then went back to there usual seat in the Cafeteria. They all talked among themselves until they saw Apple Jack and Dash coming over to them. "Saw you made the team Mac," Apple Jack said as she patted her brother on the back. "Yeah, Quarter Back Mac, has a nice ring to it," Dash said as she snickered at the rhyme. Caramel, Whooves, and AJ all soon took part in trying to hold back their laughter at Mac's new nickname, however Mac didn't take this as being funny and shot a glare at Apple Jack, who stopped her laughing to look at Mac. "Don't y'all worry Mac, it is better than Macky," AJ said to Mac, only causing everyone at the table to laugh harder at this new learned nick name. "Macky are you serious," Caramel said as he burst out laughing. "Better than the nickname Ditzy gave me," Whooves said as he laughed. "Wow Macky, and here I thought you were some big strong tuff guy, but now, im not to sure," Dash said smugly as she started to laugh. Mac sighed as he learned that this would never end, and that he would have to stick with it, however if he was going down, he would at least take them all down with him. Mac took a deep breath and slammed his hands on the lunch table as everyone looked at him. "Ah see, if thats the way you want to play it, then il step on in, Whooves, why not tell me more about the nickname Ditzy gave ya, Caramel, you do realize that being on the team means doing more work and keepin up with your studies, AJ, remember when you were younger were always terrified when ah left anytime, and you still are, and Dash, is it all right if i call a little girl like you My Little Dashie," Mac stated as he leaned back in his chair to look at all of his friends faces. Caramel had his head down, mentally slapping himself over and over again, thinking of all the extra work he signed u to do, Whooves was blushing and laughing nervously as he looked away, AJ eyed Mac, a blush on her face, she couldn't deny it, but instead walked away, Dash however froze, a blush on her face, not really knowing how to reply to this, or even the fact that she would even blush, her friends called her Dashie all the time, and it never phased her, but when he called her that, she felt something strange, so instead of saying anything she left, heading to the nurse. Author's Note Now no one go on hating me for the shortest guy being kicked off, thats just who Thad is, hes from BMS. Prologue Prologue It was a bright and sunny day in Equestria and it was the last day of Summer as well. Tomorrow would be there first day at Equestria High as well as there first real time off the barn since Summer had started. Applejack was excited about starting school tomorrow, and hopefully make some new friends, so she was already deciding what to ware. Big mac on the other hand was not to excited about starting School, he sat in his room, deep in thought on how High School was going to be. He never had many friends in the first place and was often quiet and kept to himself. Applejack on the other hand was the more outgoing one and seemed to always be in a good mood, so she would always be the one to greet customers when they came to there Apple Stand. She already had a few friends, not too many, but more than Big Mac had. To him High School was going to be the same as Middle School. He would go there, do the work, and come home to work on the fields. He did not expect to make any friends so he would put all his work into his studies and working on the Family Orchard. Most people saw him as the typical farmer, he was quiet so most people only made assumptions on him. No one took the time to get to know him, and if they did he would usually answer with a simple "Eeyup" or a "Nnnope". Most people though he wasn't the smartest since he spent most of his time working the fields, but he was actually smarter than he looked. Since he mostly worked on the fields since he was young he was also a pretty big person. Applejack on the other hand was like her brother in many ways, she would work the fields with him, she cared for her family just as he did, and she was stronger than most people. However it was Big Mac who would do most of the Physical labor like working on the fields, while his sister would get the apples from the trees. Today however was there last day of that. Once school had started they would still work on the Farm, however school would come first. Before the day had ended, they had an end of the summer dinner, after which they showered, brushed there teeth and headed off to bed. Applejack laid in her bed, her clothes ready for her first day and her stetson on the nightstand as she drifted off into a deep sleep, dreaming off all the friends she could make. Big mac on the other hand was sitting on his bed, thinking of tomorrow, and then he sighed deeply before laying in bed. Big Mac looked around his simple room a little and focused on his dresser. He had a few simple clothes laid out for the next day, and he slowly closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
First DayAuthor's Note This will be told from Big Macs POV, even though its not first person. and sorry for a few spelling errors, I'm trying to make them sound country First Day The alarm seemed to never end as it buzzed louder and louder.
Caramel snickered on the other end before speaking "Nope, two words gentlemen, Football Players"
Try OutsMac woke up earlier than usual, and set up his alarm to make sure of this to happen.
