When Fluttershy Accidentally Killed Celestia
The city of Canterlot. Such a lovely place for ponies to gather and enjoy themselves, like our heroes, Twilight Sparkle and her friends.
Twilight walked with her friends out of the castle after an important business meeting with Celestia. Celestia and Luna followed them, accompanied by the castle guards.
"So girls," Celestia said, "I was hoping that you could accompany me in having some fun."
"What kind of fun?" Rainbow dash asked, "Monopoly?"
"No, Rainbow Dash, not Monopoly. I'm actually horrible at that game. Discord beat me 5 times when he was holding me hostage that one time."
"When was Discord holding you captive?"
"Remember the pie incident?"
"Oh yeah. That"
"So what are we doing?" Pinkie Pie asked, "How fun will it be? Is it a party? Will there be snacks? Will we have CHEESE?!?!?!"
"No, Pinkie Pie," said Celestia, "this is something I really enjoy."
"What is it?" Twilight asked.
"Shooting."
"Like HUNTING!?" Fluttershy asked with fear.
"No, Fluttershy. I wouldn't offer to take you, the Element of Kindness manifested in pony form, to go hunting innocent little animals. I'm a vegetarian anyway. We're going to a shooting range where we try and hit a target instead of a living creature."
"That sounds pretty fun!" Twighly exclaimed, "Let's go!"
The gang went to the Canterlot Shooting Range and got their guns. And while you'd think that the guards would be watching Princess Celestia very closely when there are others nearby her with weapons, they actually just went out back and took a smoke break.
Celestia and the gang went into the shooting range.
"Hey, what's up, Celestia?" shouted a skeezy looking stallion with a nametag that read "Perfect Shot".
"Nothing much, how's the family?"
"Oh, they're doing great! My daughter just won the school spelling bee and my son got off of parole!"
"Oh, that's great! Tell 'em both that Aunt Celestia said hi."
"No prob', Bob. Who are your friends?"
"Let me introduce to you Princess Twilight Sparkle, the purple one (she's new at being a princess), Applejack, the orange one-"
"Yeehaw, that's me!"
"Rarity, the white one, Rainbow Dash, the blue one with the rainbow colored hair, Pinkie Pie, the pink one-"
"HI, I'M PINKIE PIE, AND I'M HERE TO MASSACRE THOSE TARGETS! WOOHOO!"
"Um, yes." Celestia began to whisper to Perfect Shot, "She's the crazy one." She spoke in her regular tone and said,
"And here is Fluttershy!"
"Uhh..." said Fluttershy, "hi. Please tell me there are no animals we're harming when we shoot!"
"Oh no, Flutterpie-" Perfect Shot got cut off by Celestia,
"It's FlutterSHY, not Pie. Pie is the pink one."
"Oh sorry, my mistake. There are no animals being shot here. This is just for practice and for the fun of it. Just paper targets here at the Canterlot Shooting Range."
"Um. Ok, that's good."
The gang went inside and got to their stations, ready to fire.
"FIIIIIREEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Pinkie screamed as she began to shoot the paper target. Every target she shot was destroyed within 30 seconds. Perfect shot came up to her and said,
"Woah there Pinkie Shy, do you shoot often?"
"Yes indeedy! I like to massacre my enemies!"
"You what?"
"You know, my enemies. Like weeds and termites that get in my way or chew through the wood in my house."
"Um, ok then."
Perfect Shot went around the room, inspecting each station and making sure that everything was alright with everypony. After he got past Celestia, he came to Fluttershy, who hadn't even shot a single bullet. She was just standing there with the gun in her hand, shaking like she was in an earthquake in Gallopfornia.
"Are you OK, Flutter Pie?" Perfect Shot asked.
"I. I. I just don't know if I can do it."
Celestia came over to her.
"Here, let me show you how to do it."
Celestia showed Fluttershy all the steps and tips of shooting a target. Finally, Fluttershy said,
"Alright, Celestia, I'm ready."
Just as Fluttershy was about to take a shot, she was startled by a shot by someone else and pulled the trigger with the gun pointed right at Celestia. Celestia didn't see it coming, but Twilight did. Right before the bullet was about to pierce Celestia's brain, Twilight magically directed the bullet towards Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash managed to fly straight up and avoid the bullet, but sadly, it did end up killing a random bystander. But random bystanders are totally expendable anyway, so it's not like a big deal or anything.
"I'm sorry, Celestia, I didn't mean to almost kill you!" Flutters said,
"Oh it's alright," Celestia said, "it didn't end up killing me anyway, and it was an accident, so it's alright."
"Thanks, Celestia. At least no one of any importance in this world got hurt."
Celestia and Perfect Shot helped instruct Fluttershy (using a Nerf type gun this time) to shoot the target as everypony else shot their targets like usual. Well, except for Pinkie Pie, who had upgraded from a regular target to a life size model of an actual pony, complete with fake organs and fake blood. She went crazy on that thing. Much later on in the day, Fluttershy got the confidence.
"Perfect Shot, Celestia, I think I'm ready to shoot the target!"
"Are you sure, Butter Shy?" Perfect Shot asked.
"Yes. And this time, us a real gun."
"If you say so."
Everyone backed off and stopped shooting in anticipation of Fluttershy's first shot. The tension was high. Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Celestia, Perfect Shot, the random bystanders that were still alive, and even Pinkie Pie stopped what they were doing to watch Fluttershy's big moment. She got ready. She pulled the trigger. The shot was made. The bullet sped out of the gun and hit the paper target right in the center. Not really, it barely even touched the paper, but she still gained the courage to make the shot. The entire place celebrated. They all cheered and applauded Fluttershy for her bravery. And as usual, Pinkie Pie did her usual hopping around of happiness, but this time she was holding a gun, which went off a couple of times while she was bouncing, which also killed a couple of worthless expendable bystanders in the process, but nobody cared, for Fluttershy's first shot was the reason for the celebration.
Perfect Shot spoke up,
"Three cheers for Shutter Fly! Hip hip!"
"Hooray!" They all shouted.
"Hip hip!"
"Hooray!"
"Hip hip!"
"HOORAY!"
"You know what we should do?" Pinkie pie yelled.
"What?" Perfect Shot asked.
"PARTY AT THE CASTLE TONIGHT! EVERYONE THAT'S STILL ALIVE IN THIS BUILDING IS INVITED!!!!"
"Yay!" Everyone shouted as the group left.
The kitchen was stirring with excitement in preparation for the night's party. Applejack and Fluttershy made pies, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash made cakes and beverages, Rarity decorated the place, and Twilight conducted the whole thing. Twilight walked into the kitchen to check on the food, she approached the cake/beverage team.
"Hey, Rainbow Dash. What's Pinkie Pie doing?"
"She's dying everything blood red. I think she's gone crazier than normal."
"Maybe we should start making her medication again."
"But then she'll go all business pony on us and not be herself."
"I guess a half or quarter dose might help with the evil murderous thoughts. Hey Pinkie Pie!"
"Yeah?" she replied,
"Why is everything blood red?"
"It's my new favorite color!"
"This can't be right. Your favorite color has always been pink! What happened?"
"Just seeing the blood of the replica pony I massacred made me realize that parties aren't everything in the world. There's a whole new horizon of possibilities out there."
"Like what?"
"I don't know, gardening, writing, painting, bloody murder, computing, babysitting, bowling, engineering, etc. There's plenty of things I can do."
"Oh ok."
Twilight started to walk away, but stopped when a sudden thought occurred in her mind,
"Did she say bloody murder?" She thought. She took a glance at Pinkie Pie and saw her smile and innocence, then thought again,
"Nah."
Twilight went to inspect the decorations, but there was nothing different or new, just the regular fabulousness that only Rarity could provide, so she moved on to the pie team.
"Hey Applejack, how's it going?"
"All fine and dandy," AJ replied, "Fluttershah and Ah are makin' pahs like crazy."
"That is great! Well, you keep doing what you're doing, I'm gonna go take a leak."
"TMI, Twilight."
"Yeah, I guess it is."
Twilight went to the bathroom and inside the stall. She emptied her bladder like anypony would do when they urinate, but this time, she had a problem. She didn't have a problem with the urination itself, but when she was done, she couldn't get out. She tried everything she didn't know any spells to unlock stuck locks, and she couldn't fly out or crawl under because the walls of the stall were too close to the floor and ceiling. The only option was to break out, but she didn't have the strength, and she didn't want to damage Celestia's property. It was entirely hopeless until somepony else would come in to save her from the pit of despair known as a public bathroom stall.
Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash engaged in light persiflage as they made the cakes and beverages.
"Hey Pinkie Pie."
"Yeah, Dashie."
"Did you tell Twilight something about bloody murder?"
"Well yeah! Did you see how many ponies I killed at the shooting range? It's so fun to see other ponies suffer in bloody misery!"
"Pinkie Pie, what is wrong with you!?"
"I'm just joking with ya, Dashie. I wouldn't intentionally hurt anypony." Then she whispered to herself "Or would I......."
"Ok, Pinkie." Rainbow Dash seemed worried about Pinkie Pie suddenly acting so bloodthirsty.
"I'm going to go run to the store and get some more blood red food dye. Wanna come?"
"Sure, I'll be out in just a sec."
As Pinkie Pie left the building, Rainbow Dash grabbed her emergency chloroform, just in case Pinkie had gone evil beyond control.
Flutters and AJ made their pies as they had been. AJ made them while Fluttershy cut the individual pieces with the sharpest knife in the kitchen. AJ suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong, Applejack?"
"Ah think Ah hear Twilight calling for help."
"Oh no!"
"Ah'ma go check it out. You stay here cutting pies."
"Ok."
Celestia walked in the kitchen to see how everything was going.
"Fluttershy, those pies look delicious!" She said/
"Don't thank me, thank Applejack, she's making them. All I'm doing is cutting individual pieces with an extremely sharp knife."
"Well I can still thank you for saving me the trouble of cutting a slice."
"Well I guess so."
"And I can thank you for having the courage to shoot the target earlier. Without that, there would be no party."
"Well I guess so."
"You're doing a lot of good, Fluttershy. Don't forget that, ok."
"Ok, Princess Celestia. Thank you."
"No, Fluttershy, thank YOU."
Celestia walked along to see how the other stations were doing, but before she could get past Fluttershy, she slipped on some pie filling on the ground, falling forward to the floor. Fluttershy acted immediately. She reached out her arms and caught her from falling to the ground, but she forgot one crucial detail; she was still holding a horrendously sharp knife in her hands. When Celestia, the ruler of all Equestria fell forward, she fell into the hooves of Fluttershy, yet one of the hooves she fell into had a knife in its hand that pierced through Celestia's chest. When Flutters caught Celestia, she said,
"Close call there, Princess, glad I stopped you from hitting the grou-" she then noticed the horrible crime she had accidentally committed, "gr-gr-gr- AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Fluttershy looked deep into Celestia's dying eyes. Celestia spoke her final words to Fluttershy,
"It's O-O-OK, Fl-Fl-Flutter-sh-sh-shy. It was an ac-ac-accid-d-d-d-dent."
And with that, Celestia breathed her last. As soon as Celestia died, a magic beam shot out of her body, shooting towards the sky like a reverse lightning bolt. It created a flash and thunder, just like a regular bolt would, and all of Equestria heard it or saw it. After the magic lightning bolt, Fluttershy started weeping heavily. She cried and cried and cried, only to be heard by nobody. The crying went down a little, but she still shed tears as she thought of what to do. Later, she decided to hide the body in the pantry and clean up the bloody mess on the floor. If somepony were to come, she would claim that a pie fell on the ground.
Eventually while Fluttershy was cleaning, AJ brought Twlight back from the bathroom of doom, or as Twilight called it, the "Bathdoom", and Pinkie Pie came back with Rainbow Dash with more blood coloring. Nobody suspected a thing. Applejack went up to Fluttershy and asked her to help set up the pies. All four ponies that were working in the kitchen began to make trips to and from the kitchen to set up their refreshments. At one point Pinkie Pie noted that she smelled blood, but everyone dismissed it (except Fluttershy who tried to ignore it).
The guests began to arrive and the party had started. Celestia was to kick it off with a statement about Fluttershy's bravery, but she never showed up (because she's dead). It was about 8:30 PM and the sun was still directly overhead. The Mane 6 and Luna huddled on stage to discuss what to do about Celestia's absence and what to do for the party guests since she was nowhere to be found.
"Ok," Twiley said, "Luna and I will try and take care of the sun, Pinkie?"
"Yeah, Twilight?"
"You can kick this off instead of Celestia, you're great at that."
"Okie dokie lokie! Do we have any non-alcoholic red rum in the pantry?"
"No, Pinkie. We have non-alcoholic champagne though."
"That'll work!"
Pinkie went off to the kitchen to get the champagne to kick the party off with. The crowd was getting restless.
"Is this party gonna start or what!?" Perfect Shot yelled.
"Hold your horses, Perfect Shot," Rainbow replied, "It'll start soon enough!"
Twilight was about to continue her plan, but Fluttershy cut her off,
"Hey, uh, guys."
"Yeah, Fluttershah?" AJ replied,
"I've really gotta go tinkle, so could you please excuse me. If I'm still in there, I insist that you start it without me."
"Ok, Fluttershy," Twiley said, "but please try and make it."
"Ok."
"So, Pinkie Pie will kick off the party, Luna and I will go take the sun down, Rainbow Dash and Applejack, do some rock rendition of Raise This Barn once the party is kicked off, and Rarity,"
"Yes." She replied,
"Just sit there."
"Feels like a waste of fabulous talent to me!"
"Whatever, just do it."
They all put their hooves in and broke the huddle like a football team would. Luna and Twilight Sparkle walked to the door to go outside, Dashie and Jacky took their places with their instruments, and Fluttershy hid in the bathroom. Suddenly, Pinkie Pie busted the kitchen door open with the deceased body of Princess Celestia in her arms.
"SOMEBODY KILLED CELESTIA!" She screamed. The crowd was aghast. Perfect Shot fainted. Grown stallions cried, grown mares screamed in horror. Rainbow Dash dropped her jaw. Rarity cried dramatically. Applejack removed her hat and lowered her head in respect. Luna and Twilight wept. Fluttershy walked out of the bathroom and saw the scene unfolding. She couldn't stand to escape the truth. She had to come clean.
"I DID IT!" She yelled,
"IT WAS ME! SHE TRIPPED AND I CAUGHT HER BUT I HAD A KNIFE IN MY HOOF AND SHE DIED SO I HID THE BODY AND NOW I'M GOING TO GO TO JAIL FOR LIFE FOR MY HORRIBLE MISCONDUCT!!"
She cried for minutes. Luna and Twilight came to her to console her. She would never intentionally hurt a fly, but this time, she killed the ruler of everything. She felt deep sorrow and regret. She didn't know what would happen next, but she knew it wouldn't be for her good.
The guards soon showed up and dealt with the situation. Everypony there was kept for questioning, even though Fluttershy admitted to doing it. Celestia's body was sent to a mortician. Her portrait in the spot of "Current leader" was moved to where the others were in the spot of "Former leader". The next day, Luna, with a heavy heart, was sworn in as the next Queen of Equestria. She held no more power than Celestia did, Celestia was only called "Princess" because she liked it better than "Queen". The funeral took place the day after Luna became queen. The people of Equestria paid respect to their fallen leader for the entire day. The day after the funeral, Twilight and Cadence were appointed to work together to raise the sun.
A few weeks later, Fluttershy was put on trial by the royal court with Queen Luna as the judge. After a long trial and being given every reason to execute Fluttershy, Luna did the unexpected and forgave her. She said that she knew her sister, she knew that it was an accident, and she knew that Celestia would want her to be forgiven.
Months passed and all of Equestria was still shaken. Pinkie Pie laid in her bed one night and thought to herself,
"Why couldn't it have been me who did it?"

Yes I know "The city of Canterlot." I just really like the Powerpuff Girls. Faust and McCracken are just geniuses ok. It's a good thing they're married, who knows what could come from the power couple of cartoon genius. You know, the CMC are pretty much the PPG without powers.
