After just barely escaping Ultratech and Aria, Fulgore continues to wander the Earth, remaining ever vigilant as he tries to process his true nature. During his encounter and battle with Jago, who has now been corrupted by Gargos, Fulgore gets dragged into the dimensional rift caused by Sadira's tampering with Glacius's technology.

As he awakens, Fulgore finds himself in a large peaceful land filled with mythical creatures and talking Ponies. Confused and lost, Fulgore continues his quest to find out his true nature, but he soon finds out that Gargos is also with him in this unknown land.

Realising the threat Gargos himself poses to Equestria, and after witnessing him protecting the Ponies during their
battle, the Princesses make a rather risky decision and task Twilight Sparkle and her friends with teaching Fulgore the
meaning of friendship, hoping that in doing so, will gain him as the ally they need to stop Gargos. However, can Fulgore, a machine created solely for destruction, process the nature of friendship? Can he become Equestria's savior, or its greatest threat?
