Chapters Chapter 1 "A Princess Meeting"
(Princess ) Twilight Sparkle happily trotted through the Canterlot Castle's halls. The meeting with the 2 other Princesses about living arrangements for Twilight went perfectly. Twilight could stay in Ponyville, yet she had a private tower in the castle, for when she came to visit her fellow royalty in Canterlot. Luckily, this little visit to do this meeting was only a one-day trip, so she didn't have to right away use that tower and could go straight home to Ponyville. She grabbed her satchel and went back to trotting.
Oh, no! I forgot to say hello to Blueberry Muffin! Twilight reminded herself as she rushed to see her old friend in the kitchen.
"Hey, Blue." Twilight said to the unicorn standing next to the oven, looking very focused.
"Oh... hey.. PRINCESS TWILIGHT!?" The mare screamed as she ran in for a hug. The mare was very beautiful indeed.
"Hello, my BLUEtiful little friend, but you know you can call me Twilight, Blue." Twilight giggled, still surrounded by Blueberry's hug. "I love what you've done to the castle's kitchen!" Twilight said to her friend, examining the room. "It has so much more color! It looks happier, and much more.... Oh, what's the word..."
"Blue?"
"Yes!" Twilight said with a smile. "So, have you learned any new spells? Did you read the book, "A Unicorn's Guide to Magic in the Kitchen" that I sent you?"
"Yes...." The other unicorn said with a small groan. "You know Twilight, not everything is about studying. Especially now that you are a Princess.. I wonder if Princesses could date? That would definitely get you off studying." The cook said giggling while getting back to her work. It looked like she was making blueberry muffins.
"I know, and who are those muffins for? Princess Luna? I bet she would love some." Twilight said as she ignored the last part of what Blueberry had said and happily helping her friend put the muffins on a cooling tray.
"Nah, actually... Princess Luna banned herself from eating anymore this month." The cook giggled with Twilight. "She used to eat a whole BATCH a day. She was getting worried about her weight, so she stopped... For now." The unicorn cook couldn't stop giggling. "Nopony can resist MY blueberry muffins!" She said as she shook her flank, making her cutie mark of a muffin shine in the sunlight coming from the windows.
"So, anywho, these muffins are for you and for my cousin, can you deliver them to her for me?" The cook asked, while looking at a picture of Derpy eating what seemed to be Blueberry's muffins. "I miss her so much, maybe you could bring her by next time..." She said with a sad smile.
"Yes, and yes! I'm sure she'll be extra happy to see YOUR muffins coming her way." Twilight smiled as she put the muffins in a box.
"I'm sure, too!" The cook replied with a real smile coming back. "Goodbye, Princess." Blueberry said teasingly.
"Goodbye, ROYAL cook. Oh, and don't forget to write to me this month!" Twilight teased back at her as she trotted out the door with the muffins.

"Rainbow Dash? Why are you here? Oh, did you want the next book of "Daring Do" that just came out?" Twilight asked while getting out her keys and writing a note to Derpy at the same time.
"Uhh.. what? Oh, yea, sure. Wait.. you have the next "Daring Do book?" AWESOME!" She exclaimed as she did circles in the air. "But, uhh no. I waited for you to come h- I mean Spike, to come home."
"But I've been in here the whole time?" Spike said as he opened the door for Twilight. "You know, it was never locked, Twi." He laughed at her, but was quickly silenced from a glare from Rainbow Dash.
"Uh.. so.. The "Daring Do" book!" She reminded herself as she flew over to Twilight. "Umm... uh, do you have it?" Rainbow asked her as she flew in circles around the mare.
"I'm afraid not, Rainbow. I'm really sorry. Ponyville has a late problem in delivery when it comes to books, I found out. Don't worry, it'll be here next week, Dash." Twilight said while walking her out.
"NEXT WEEK!?"
Does this mean I don't have a good reason to visit her? Dash thought before making it leave her mind by force.
"I'm afraid so, Dash.... But if you want, you can come to the library anytime you want! I have other books written by A.K. Yearling, you know." Twilight improvised.
"Really!? Are they just as good?" Rainbow asked as she whipped around to face Twilight.
"They really are." Twilight chuckled at her. "Come by tomorrow, I have to find the other books in here, and I still have to deliver half of these muffins to Derpy, so I don't have time right now."
"Ok... Can.. we uhh.. I mean.. lunch? Umm.. I mean want to go have some lunch tomorrow at "The Hay Burger", Twi?" Rainbow stammered with wide eyes at her friend.
"Sure, and I can bring the books to the restaurant instead. See ya tomorrow, Rainbow!" Twilight called behind her back as she shut the door with her magic leaving a squealing Rainbow Dash behind.
It may not be a date, but it's as close as I'm gonna get! Rainbow Dash thought to herself as she did circles and spins, making her way up to her favorite cloud for a nap. I wonder what I should do? Should I ask my friends? Rarity? Nah, she'd get all romantic about the whole thing. Fluttershy? Nope, she'd be all quiet and shy and hard to speak to. Pinkie Pie? No way! She'd tell the whole town and throw a party about it! AJ.... she'd tease me so much I would want to puke... Is there ANY pony I can talk to? Dash grunted to herself before falling into a deep sleep.

Rainbow Dash got up slowly, noticing that it was just before sunrise. Blinking at the sun slowly coming up, she stretched and yawned. I slept that long? Jeez.... I might as well get started on weather control early....
Dash did a couple exercises before speeding through the sky, getting rid of most of the clouds except for a few. Should be mostly sunny today, perfect for a lunch date! Rainbow squealed to herself before finishing the last of the clouds and flying to AJ to help her with her daily morning chores. Totally not going to talk to her about Twilight. Totally.
"What are ya doin' up so early? I'd thought you'd be in one of them clouds sleepin' away, Dash." Applejack questioned her motioning her head toward the cloud above and picking up two of the empty baskets and putting them on her back.
"Uhh.. got an early nap and fell asleep. Slept through most of yesterday." Rainbow blushed at her before AJ giving her playful nudge with her shoulder.
"It happens to the best of us, Rainbow. Now, if ya are done with the weather, can ya help me out? I have almost completed morning chores. If it's no trouble to help me right now, o' course." AJ blushed at asking for help, it was still embarrasing to ask, but it was a little easier than before.
"Yea, I guess. What do I have to do?" Rainbow asked while hovering above the farm pony below that was starting to buck the trees.
"Go grab one of them baskets, ya gonna need 'em. If ya can, carry two."
"Two? Easy peasy." She laughed before picking up 6 of the baskets.
"You do realize that ya are gonna be carrying apples in those, right? 'Bout 25 apples each basket." AJ chuckled at the pegasus who was starting to get big eyes and put down four of the baskets.
"So, Dash, why'd ya come? Did ya need something? Not there has to be a reason for you to come..." AJ asked before bucking another tree.
"No, don't need anything." Dash lied quickly, trying to hide her eyes. They tend to grow big a little too often...
"I know that's not true." AJ told her with a suspicious look.
"How do you? Not that it isn't true... Just why do you think that?"
Sighing, she went over to Rainbow to speak more. "I'm the Element of Honesty, Rainbow. Ah think ah can notice when somebody is lying."
"I thought that being the Element of Honesty meant you were a bad liar."
"Nevermind that, now tell me the truth, Dash." The farm pony said, changing the topic.
"Umm... about that.... It's something really embarrassing."
"I'm the Princess of Embarrassing. Now, continue !"
"Well.. Can you please not tell ANYONE else about this? It would TOTALLY make me lose my cool! And I was still debating on tell you.." Dash sighed back at her.
"Uhh... Ok... But what is it, sugarcube?"
"Promise you won't tell?" Rainbow Dash repeated, this time more sternly.
"Never, Rainbow."
"I like.. Twilight..."
"Don't we all, Dash?" She chuckled at her.
"I meant... like, uhh.. like like."
"Oh... OH!" AJ yelled, before she fainted and fell into a pile of leaves that had fallen from the apple trees. "You're kidding, right?" The farm pony asked as the pegasus helped her up, but as soon as she saw the nervous look on Rainbow Dash, she fainted again.
Chapter 2 "Awkward Lunch"
Rainbow Dash went over to the seating of the restaurant, trying to figure out where to sit. This is * HARD... What would Twilight like? Booth? No... That makes it seem like we're family not friends... But I **don't want her to think we're friends either! Ugg... The bar stools? No, that seems like I'm trying to make her have a drink.. Which I know she won't have! Why does this have to be so dificult!? Wait... am I really having an argument with myself about seating? Ok, that's enough of being Twilight... But she is so cute when she has arguments with herself! Am I cute when I have arguments with myself? Can I pull it off? Am I even cute? Oh my, Celestia! It's true, I am turning into Twilight!*
Rainbow didn't notice when the waiter came up behind her until he tapped her on her shoulder. She turned around to find herself blushing like mad.
"Uh.. Miss? Are you going to sit down?" He asked cautiously.
"Huh? Oh yea... Sorry... Umm.. I'm waiting for a friend, Twilight. If you see her, can you send her to my table, man?" She asked the waiter as he started to smirk.
"Yea, right . Like Princess
"Hey, man! That's my friend you're talkin' about!" She yelled at him. The waiter looked to his right, and saw from across the room his boss was glaring at him. Quickly, he apologized and said he would send Twilight to her when he saw the alicorn.
After a couple minutes, Rainbow started getting a little bored, so she started making origami with her napkin for Twilight. She turned her napkin into a cloud, and Twilight's into a heart. Shaking her head, she quickly remade Twilight's into a boat. She had just finished the boat when the waiter brought over the smart little Princess.
"Rainbow ? What are you doing here so early? I'm 28 minutes early and you got here before me? This isn't like you! How long have you been here? Oh my, I'm reacting over nothing, aren't I? Sorry.." The alicorn questioned her as she sat down in the booth.
Instead of answering, Rainbow made big, scared, eyes at her and quickly pushed the boat toward Twilight with her hoof. "I didn't know you knew origami, Rainbow." She said as she looked carefully at the boat that had precise lines without any mess-ups. She picked it up with her aura and played with it like a toy boat.
"Yea... Before I even started foalgarten, my mom taught me some shapes when I was bored... I thought they were so cool, especially when she put them on string and hung them from the ceiling... Also the ones where you could pull the tail and it would flap it wings." She explained as she pushed her cloud along the table like it was floating. Twilight tried to start saying something, but she was interrupted as the waiter came to their table to let them order drinks.
"Oh, yea. Uhh.. I'll have some alcohol-" She was cut off from herself when she looked at Twilight. Twilight might not like alcohol.... Probably shouldn't order it for myself, either.. "Actually, I'll have normal cider, please."
"And I will have some water, please. Thank you, sir." Twilight said as the waiter nodded and went off to fetch the drinks.
"I thought you liked alcoholic cider, Rainbow... Why did you change your mind?"
"Uhh.. nevermind that." Dash stammered at the alicorn, which gave her just enough time to wait 'till the drinks came to change the topic.
"Did you decide what you would like to eat?" The waiter asked while getting out his notepad.
"I already know, I will have the hay 'n cheese fries, please." Rainbow told him while handing back the menu.
"I memorized the menu..." Twilight blushed very red before replying. "I will have the hay burger, thanks."
Rainbow did a nervous smile before watching the waiter trott off to the cook to give him their orders. Think, Dash! What should I say to her? What's a good topic to ta- Rainbow's thinking was cut off by Twilight's blabbering.
"I just recently found out that the 'Horseshoe' star was moving in a circular pattern instead of a square, so I told Luna and she said that it was normal and I shouldn't worry about it! But I knew that wasn't true, so I went over to Celestia," Rainbow watched the alicorn blabber on, not listening to a single word she was saying. Just watching her hair move quietly when ever she tilted her head, looking at her shiny teeth, her wonderful-
"Dash, are you ok?"
"What? Huh?" Rainbow said before waking up into reality.
"The foods here."
"Oh, yea... Right."
"Oh, and I have your books I wanted you to read.."
"Great... Uhh, thanks." She replied before taking them. Twilight went back to talking about not-really-interesting stuff, and Dash ate her food, with small mouthfulls, being very mannerly, unlike her usual self. Acting like she was very interested, but really she went back to dreamily staring at the Princess who was eating the totally opposite from her friend, eating with her mouthful, and what-not. They both had a wonderful time, and Dash's feelings grew with every word Twilight said. Which was a lot, considering how much Twilight blabbers.
And Twilight looked strangely at the pegasus every once in a while, like she knew something was wrong. Rainbow tended to ignore it, but the looks increased, almost as much as Dash's feelings.
There has to be something wrong with Dash.... right?
Chapter 3 "Time for Travel"
Twilight went around her bedroom, grabbing anything she needed for traveling and writing little notes everywhere for Spike. Sure, he can stay home alone for a couple days, but a lot has changed since she became a Princess, so now there is new stuff for him to do. She grabbed her suitcase with her aura and started sorting out everything and grabbing more bags until she heard a knock on her door. The noise startled her a little so she froze, but quickly replied to the noise.
"Come in! I'll be there in a minute."
"Okay!" A voice called back, she remembered the voice but couldn't remember from where. She quickly finished packing her clothes and grabbed the items and went down the stairs to see a mare who was her pen pal. Twilight still wanted the other Elements to meet her, for it was Blueberry Muffin.
"Blueberry? What are you doing here? I was just about to go to Canterlot to see you and the other Princesses. I have to take care of Luna, she has a stomach ache." Twilight explained as she grabbed more bags. "Did you let her have more muffins?" Twilight laughed.
"I'm afraid so, well, yes and no. I was baking more muffins for Derpy, because I was going to come to Ponyville to visit Derpy, and I left them on a tray to cool in the kitchen. Well, I had to use the restroom so I left the muffins next to the window to cool. It just so happened that Luna was walking by and ate the whole muffin batch while I went to use the restroom. Which was only about 5 minutes." She said to the alicorn, which made them both giggle.
"Well, that explains Luna. Why are you here if you don't have muffins to give to Derpy? I thought you had work?" Twilight asked her while she went to the kitchen to pack some traveling snacks.
"About that... Well, Princess Celestia wanted me to escort you. After you becoming a Princess, nopony could ever know what evil would want to harm you." She explained while helping Twilight finish packing the snacks and finish doing the dishes. "Oh, and did you find somepony yet?" She asked calmly, like there was nothing to it.
"Somepony for what, Blue?"
"For a date, silly! Please tell me you listened to my advice and went on at LEAST one date!" She exaggerated.
"You are so much like Rarity, I really have to make you guys meet each other." Twilight giggled at her. "And I don't have time for dating, being a Princess and all. Even before becoming one I barely had time. You know that, and I hope you remember it, too." As soon as the words left her lips, she heard crying from the balcony. She and Blueberry looked at each other with fear, and Twilight mouthed the words "follow me", and they quietly ran up to the balcony to see who was there, but they heard rustling before they reached the top of the stairs.
By the time they finally got there, there was nopony. They had just missed the pony, because there was wind everywhere and the leaves were coming off the trees.
"Whoever was crying, they had to be a pegasus." Blueberry told Twilight as they turned around to walk back inside the treehouse-library. "Because only way to get there without either of us knowing and leave that fast, had to be one.
"Unless it was Pinkie Pie, but why would she cry?" Twilight added as she looked behind her and looked at the wind still rustling from the trees.
"I bet the pegasus liked you." Blueberry giggled at Twilight while ignoring what Twilight had said, because she knew it had to be a pegasus, and nothing else.
"Doubt it. How would you ever think that?" Twilight asked her with her lip quivering a bit.
"Hello? They started crying as soon as you said that "I don't have time for dating, being a Princess and all.""
"Let's not think about it." The small Princess said as she waved her hoof. "We have other things I need to get done before we can leave." (But Twilight was blushing like mad.)
But that just made the royal cook giggle.
"Oh come on! You know you want to! Now tell me, any Pegasus that you know that have been acting strange, lately?"
"I really don't want to think about it Blue, and just to make you shush it, no. Nopony, I mean, no pegasi, have been acting, 'strange' lately." Twilight lied. Of course there had been one, but just not in that way.... Right? Rainbow was probably just nervous about what she had said before about 'eggheads', so she probably didn't like the thought of reading more books... Definitely that.

"Why did she have to become a Princess!? Being the Princess' personal student was bad enough, with her schedules and all. Now, a Princess? And she said it herself, she can't date anyone. That includes me! Why? Why did she have to break my heart? " Rainbow Dash cried to herself as she shoved her face into her favorite napping cloud.
"Twilight.. I mean, * all** Princesses... can't date anyways... Right? So, it wasn't just her! Yea! And I am dateable, so if Twilight wasn't a Princess, she would date me! Right? Yea! Do I have to stop her from being Princess? If so, I will do it! If it means she will date me then I will!*"
"This isn't fair! " Rainbow screamed into the cloud before crying herself to sleep.

Chapter 4 "Princess Duties, and Smexy Princesses"
Princess Twilight Sparkle and Blueberry Muffin trotted through Canterlot Castles' hallways, making their way to the throne room. They went into the Elements of Harmony hallway, and stared at the stained glass that was glistening in Celestia's sunshine.
"What is it like?" Blueberry asked Twilight quietly, sounding a bit sad.
"What?" Twilight blurted out in reply.
"What is it like to be an Element of Harmony, Twi?"
Twilight couldn't answer that, or at least didn't know an answer. It was fun, it was exciting, made you anxious, it was many things. But Twilight, the bearer of the Element of Magic, never really thought about it much. It made her have actual friends, and if it wasn't for her friends, she would of never signed up for Celestia's pen pal program, and never would of met Blueberry. Nightmare Moon would be ruling Equestria, or Discord, or somepony else.
"I don't know. It's magical, yet at the same time, frightening. I never really thought about it much, so I don't know how to answer, Blue." Twilight said as she made her head tilt downward.
"After the main 6 was formed, I always wished I was one of them." Blueberry blushed. "But yet, even if that was possible, I could never find my big part in friendship."
"Well, if anything, your kindness. You are always there for me! Yet, you are also generosity. You bake muffins for free, for anyone who needs or wants them... But you are also honest.. Oh, I see what you mean.." Twilight replied, now she was blushing too. The rest of the walk was utter silence. Neither of them brought anything up, so they just kept walking.

"Stupid smexy alicorn... Stupid smexy alicorn.. " Rainbow Dash pouted to herself quietly, so nobody would hear. "Quit being so smexy, danget! "

"Twilight Sparkle, glad to see you back in the castle." Princess Celestia said to the other alicorn. "And Blueberry Muffin, glad to have you back too. It is a pleasure, please be reassured, but why are you here? I thought you would be in the kitchen." Celestia got up and walked over to the two friends elegantly, after all, she was a Princess.
"Hello, Princess Celestia!" Twilight yelled, and ran up under her wing, while Blueberry just walked along besides them.
"I was wondering if I could take the week off, Princess. I would love to help Twilight take care of Princess Luna, and I would prefer if I could see my cousin."
"Of course, but Twilight doesn't need help with Princess Luna, so you may go right back home."
"Bu-But Princess, she can surely replace one of the nurses, which let's that extra nurse go help out others."
"Twilight, I am going to take care of Luna myself, I will be there to comfort her and take care of her. But I need you to take care of my duties while I do. It is just a little stomach ache from too many cupcakes, so she will be fine. We are immortal, you know." Celestia chuckled at her old student.
"That is fine, Princess. But... I can't raise and lower the sun! The rest of the duties are fine, but surely you must understa-" Celestia shushed her with kind eyes.
"I will still take care of the sun duties, and Luna is strong enough to take care of the moon still. If she doesn't, she must be really lazy and I will have to do it for her.... But I don't think that will happen." Celestia replied with a smile.
"Great, everything is sorted out.. Can I leave, now?" The royal cook asked, really, truly, bored.
"Of course, Miss Muffin. I will see you Monday morning?" Celestia asked before the cook rank off.
"Sure! I'll make blueberry pancakes!" She screamed back and ran to get to the train station before it left, and Celestia started chuckling again.
"I'm sure you'll do fine, Twilight. Just remember, I am always here for you to help guide you, even though I am not your teacher anymore. And also remember, you can call me Celestia, Twilight. You don't need to use Princess!" Celestia called behind her back as she trotted through the hallways to get to Luna's bedroom.
"I have all of Princess Celestia's duties for about a week. Right. I got this, right ? Right. " Twilight said to herself, trying to have more confidence, but it didn't seem to work.

"Heya, Rainbow. How are ya doin'? What's up with Twilight?" AJ called from the ground to the cyan mare, but the mare just rolled over to make her back face the farmer.
"Rainbow, come here you." AJ said teasingly as she rapped a lasso around the cloud and pulled it to the ground. The pegasus looked up at her friend with a teary face. "Oh mai, Rainbow. What happened? Ah never thought I'd see ya cry like this!"
She sniffled and replied, "N-Neither did..did I... She-She told Blue-Blueberry that sh...she can't date anypony. Be-being a princess and all... It's just as bad as I imagi...ined." She muttered through her tears. "Wh-Why do heartbr..breaks hurt like this?"
"Now, you are Rainbow Dash. The Rainbow Dash. Nopony ever gonna change that, Dash. You are confident, and most importantly, loyal. Now are ya gonna let what that pretty librarian/princess gonna stop you from bein' loyal? Or are you gonna fight for your little crush?"
"I love.. I love her."
"What?"
"It's not a crush... I love her."
Chapter 6 Part 1 "The Crashing Pegasus"
Twilight was at her desk in her private study, inside her castle tower, writing to Spike about yet another list that had to get done before she got home. She dipped her quill inside of the ink pot before starting the letter.
Dear Spike,
I know I already gave you a list (Which I do hope you finished!) of what to do while I'm gone, but I'm afraid I didn't finish that list before I left. I also didn't know that the tummy ache Princess Luna had would turn into the flu. Princess Celestia is now working double time for taking care of her, so I have even more duties to get done. What's even worse, is that Rainbow Dash is coming to visit so I have to keep a close eye on her, making sure she will not touch anything glass or something else. Other than that I will have fun with her, I am sure of that.
Now then, about the list. There is so many things I need you to get done, because I will not have time to write you a weekly list. I really am sorry, but I will not be home for at least 30 moons.
-Give Rarity the books on special stiches, I have left them on my bedside table for her. Please give them to her before Tuesday, she doesn't have much time to practice them, because of her big orders recently.
-Please do give Owlowiscious to Fluttershy tomorrow to take care of him, but for today give him his dinner.
-Make sure the Cutie Mark Crusaders return their books.
-Give the Mayor the plans for the new park, left them on the kitchen counter.
-Get your scales shined at the spa. Left the bits for it in your kitchen drawer.

She had just wrote the e in "Sparkle" when her study-room's door fell over and dust came from the walls.
"R-Rainbow!" She coughed at her. "Don't come c-craHUF... Crashing in like that!"
"S-Sorry.... I'll go get a maid to clean this up.." She said as she turned around in shame.
"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Twilight yelled before she toppled on top of Rainbow Dash. "Ah.. Ahem!" She coughed again. "YOU are gonna clean this up! The maid doesn't deserve to."
"Bu... But..."
"No butts... Well, if it makes you feel better I can help..." She said as she walked over to a broom closet and got out cleaning supplies. "I will be right back, I have to go get a guard to fetch another door." She said as she handed the supplies to a surprised Rainbow.
Rainbow waited 'till Twilight had left the study-room, then ran through the doors to Twilight's bedroom and plopped herself on Twilight's bed.
Ahh... The was one bad crash... Rainbow thought to herself as she stretched her legs. Rainbow looked over to the bedside table, and saw a sketchpad sitting on top of it.
Wha.. What's that?
She grabbed it and looked at the front of it. It had Twilight's cutie mark on it. She debated for a minute on whether to open it or not, before shrugging and opening it.
"Oh my, Celestia! THIS IS AWESOME!" She squealed at the pictures.
"RAINBOW! YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO SEE THAT!" Twilight blushed before teleporting it over to her and holding it sternly in her aura. "Don't... You weren't... Uhh..... I... I guess I'll leave... Now..." She said quietly before turning around to leave the room.
"Twilight?"
"......... Yes, Rainbow?"
"I.. I like your doodles.... of us."
Chapter 6 Part 2"Dreamy Wishes"
Rainbow was still in Twilight's bed, but now dreamily staring at the alicorn that looked like that she would fall over any minute now.
"Hey, Twi? Can I ask you a question?"
"I am not Twilight."
"Yes, you are."
"No, I'm not."
"Yes, you ARE
"I am not Princess Twilight Sparkle."
"Fine, then. NOT Twilight. If you aren't Twilight, then who am I in love with?" She teased the alicorn.
"I am not Twilight."
"Then say who you are."
"I am Princess Luna, and I have been watching you Rainbow Dash." The purple alicorn slowly turned into a blue one.
"Princess... Princess L-Luna? Bu-But... Twilight... Sh-She doesn't love me?" The pegasus weeped at Princess Luna, who was now laying down next to the pegasus on the bed. "Is this all a dream? Or alicorn magic? Wh-Why? I thought you were sick..."
"Are you listening, Rainbow Dash?" She said her full name, still keeping some of the olden time accent in her voice. "Because if you want to know everything, you have to listen."
"I-I will... But what are you going to tell me? That this was all a lie?" She pouted at her.
"Listen." Luna said with a glare. "I never was sick, in fact, my Sister knew that too. It was a trick to get Twilight to stay at the castle for a few days. Sense getting her a private tower, didn't make her stay for a while." She groaned in laziness at the pegasus, not caring that she was a Princess and had to use proper posture.
"So, we brought her here, saying I was sick, and Princess Celestia, would have to take care of me. Princesses are immortal, they don't get sick." Luna snorted, while Rainbow just pouted more.
Does this mean.... If she ever will be my special some-pony... We won't grow old together?
"Why did you need her to come here?"
"Because of you, Rainbow Dash. You are a threat."
"A threat?" She said with utter fear. "How.. How am I a threat?"
"Because you love her."
"That doesn't make me a threat !"
"Yes, it does. It means you would do anything for Twilight to like you, even if only a tiny bit. And Princesses, they cannot date." She quietly spoke to the pegasus, who was crying on the pillow now. "Princess Celestia asked me to make this dream world for you, Dash. Because you will be here a while."
"A WHILE?! No, no, no, no! And what about Candance? Shouldn't you be doing the same for Shining Armor!?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because, their love formed protection for the Crystal Empire. So, she allowed it. But this... It would break the link that made you all the Main 6, because you would no longer be friends."

"Rainbow!" Twilight squealed as she ran over to the pegasus who just came off the train.
"Hey, gurl!"
When has Rainbow ever called me "gurl"?
"Right... Umm... So how is Ponyville? How is Spike?"
"He's fine.... " She stated as she looked down at her hoof that had a bunch of scribbles on it.
Curiously, Twilight leaned in. "Why do you have writing on your hoof?"
"Uhh.... My to-do list!" She said happily, sounding like she was satisfied with her answer.
But Dash never makes to-do lists!

Chapter 5 "The Busy Princess and the Loyal Pegasus"
Twilight Sparkle trotted along, going through hallways in Canterlot Castle, mostly ones she never cared to go through. She had just finished all of Celestia's daily duties, (except for raising and lowering the sun, of course), and now had some free time for herself. She thought a nice long walk would give her plenty of relaxation, so here she was. She had just went through the Elements of Harmony hallways for the second time that day, looking for any tunnels that came off of it, but to her luck, there were none.
The small alicorn trotted through a grand hallway, lined with gold, and rubies. The Sisters' bedrooms! I thought they would be somewhere else.... Wait, I never even thought about them sleeping.... I guess I was too busy doing other stuff than to go see Celestia when she was in her room.. Remembering that Celestia would be with Luna in Luna's bedroom, Twilight quietly made her way into her former mentor's room.
Twilight closed the door behind her quietly, not to disturb anyone, and flipped on the lights.

"Now, Rainbow. What's gitten' ya all worked up like this? Twilight tends to not know her own mind, ya know. She could totally be lying.... Ah wish ah saw the lil' incident... Ah tend to know if ponies are lying or not." AJ said with wide eyes and tapped her head with her hoof. "C'mon, git up, I said. Look, Twilight tends to say stuff she don't mean, alright? So, all ya got to do is git up and go see her." She said as she lifted the pegasus up.
"Just 'cause your the Element of Honesty, it doesn't mean you can tell if somepony is lying or not!" She said as she poofed up her chest and crossed her arms. "But... About Twilight... I guess you're right... But-I don't know if she saw me flying away cry- I mean... Well, yea... Crying.." Said she as she looked to the ground. "I can't face her if she did..."
"I doubt she did, Rainbow."
"How would you know?"
"You're the fastest flying pegasus around. And uh.." AJ faked a cough. "Second.." More coughing.. "In place when it comes to over all athleticism. Plus ya are loyal, Rainbow." She pointed out. "Ya gotta go see her."
"You're right.... Fine, I'll go." She gave in to the earth pony before flying towards the Ponyville library.

"Woh." Twilight whispered to herself before walking around in Celestia's room. "I.. I never thought.... This is amazing!" Twilight trotted around the room, staring at the paintings as she went. They were so old, but Twilight couldn't tell the exact date. But they were all of Princess Luna and Princess Celestia, together.

Rainbow did a small breathing exercise before lifting up her hoof, ready to knock on the door. Come on, Rainbow! You can do this! You're * the** Rainbow Dash!* She breathed in, and tapped on the door. She waited there, and waited. It felt like 2 hours to her before a noise from the inside called, "Coming!", but yet, it wasn't Twilight's voice.
"Rainbow Dash?" Spiked asked as he opened up the door.
"Ye-Yes. Is Twilight home?"
"She left to go to Canterlot yesterday... She sent me a note saying that she had to take over Celestia's duties. Odd, right? Apparently Luna has a stomach ache, who knew even immortals could get sick?" He chuckled.
"Ye-Yea.... So, uhh.. When will she.. Umm.. You know, be back?"
"Could be a day, maybe a week."
A WEEK!?
"Oh.. Uh.. Right. Don't suppose it would be um... Ok if I visit her?"
"Sure, she'd like her friends to visit!"
Friend S ?
"I meant.. me. Uhhh the other bearers are busy.. This weekend."
"Oh, right. Sure... How about you come in and I can pack you a quick lunch?" He asked as he opened the door for the pegasus.
"Thanks, Spike." She replied as she stepped into the library. "How are you dealing with all your little duties? Hahaha! DUTIES!" Rainbow snorted, but Spike just shrugged it off.
"Good.... Twilight has been leaving me with more work since she became a Princess."
Did you * have** to bring up the 'Princess' part?*
"That's good, right? I mean, don't you like helping her?"
"Of course I do!"
"Hey man, I didn't mean to get you all defensive... Anyway, whatca making?" She asked as she peered over behind his shoulder.
"Basic tuna and hay sandwich, I hope you like it... You don't come here often, so I don't know what you like to eat." He said with a small blush.
"Uhh... Yea... About that.. Umm.. How is Twilight with her studies?" She asked now blushing too.
"Gr-great!" He stammered. "Wait... Why are you interested in her studies?"
"No particular reason." She stammered back, now trying to hide her face by staring into the sandwich on the counter.
"Oh.. Okay. Well, don't suppose on your way out you could ask Pinkie to drop those gem cakes by?" He blushed at her. "Don't tell Twilight I'm breaking my diet.... Please?" He said while getting redder and handing her the packed lunch.
"No problem." She said as she waved her hoof. "See ya!"
"Bye."

"Twilight?"
"Oh, Celestia! I am so sorry! I did not mean to.. Well, I meant to but I... I mean, I'm really sorry that I- Ugg!" She said without looking behind her. "Do you forgive me?" She asked as she spun around, to see a very depressed Rainbow Dash behind her.
"Rainbow? Why are you here?" She blushed at the pegasus, who was starting to get closer.
"Twilight, wake up!" She heard a voice call from the ceiling.

Twilight woke up to find herself laying in Celestia's bed, curled up around the bed's owner. "Oh my, Princess! I am so sorry, I didn't mean to... Umm.." Twilight blushed more and more, for the Princess was rapping her wing around her.
"It is fine, Twilight. Come closer though, I haven't cuddled another alicorn in about 2 thousand years, unless you count Luna. I cuddled her yesterday." Celestia chuckled and blushed at the newly crowned Princess. "And you are much softer than Luna." She said as she nuzzled Twilight's cheek.
"Umm... Princess..."
"Oh sorry, got a bit carried away." She laughed at the other alicorn. "Anywho, I got a letter from Spike that Rainbow Dash is coming to visit you. She should be here in a couple hours. There are train delays, I hear of." Celestia explained to her ex-student.
"Rainbow!?" She exclaimed as she jumped up.
"Yes... What is wrong with Rainbow Dash? I thought you two were friends."
"We-We are." She stammered.
"Then why are you all... jumpy?"
"I.. Umm... I don't know.." She said with a blush as she curled back up with her former mentor.
"I will have to ask Luna about your dream.." The white Princess murmured.
"What?"
"Nothing, now then, how are you doing with my little jobs?"
"The duties are going great!"
"Duties!" The Princess snorted at her, and Twilight rolled her eyes.
