Equestria 2033

First: This story does take stuff from Metro 2033 and Fallout: New Vegas and other references as well. There shouldn't be any spoilers to the games's story, just the physics aspects.

Note: This is a human story, I might write the pony version if this goes well.

This story is marked mature because I don't know what will be written, I don't want it marked teen and have a scene that makes hardcore porn look like foreplay.

This takes place after the Changelings attacked the second time, but with nuclear arms. After the initial fallout 90% of the entire population miraculously survived in underground train stations, commonly known as Metro's, rumor has it that there were few people who knew the attack was coming and built a giant underground vault with enough supplies to take care of a hundred people for years to come, as well as thousands of weapons. Problem is no one knows where to start looking, but some exploring tells new tales. Unfortunately the outside world is still coated in deadly radiation and, even with proper supplies, you will last no more than an hour alone, not just from the radiation, but mutated creatures as well. The EQMC was able to get most of it's supplies in to the metro, including stockpiles MREs, dozens of AK-74s and AK-47Ms, hundreds of crates of ammunition, military vehicles like Hummvees and 2 1/2 trucks, along with spare BDUs for civilians. Sadly most of this was used fast or people bought it to quick, so the inhabitants of Metro 0317-Canterlot as well as others were forced to make extremely crude and cheap weapons and ammo. This is the story of Lieutenant ThunderShock, the commander of FOB Canterlot and his friends and family.
