The Princess Of The Night's Fall

Long ago, in the land of Equestia, there lived two royal alicorn sisters. The eldest sister was guardian of the sun. Her name was Princess Celestia. The younger sister was guardian of the moon. Her name was Princess Luna. There parents had created harmony and the world they lived in today. They created the nature, and the ponies. But, they were not the only all-powerful beings. There was one more, their brother. Prince Sombra. There was one small problem with Sombra. He was born early, and his wings did not have time to fully develope. After he was born, the doctors surgically removed the deformed wings to make him look like a regular unicorn. Their parents, Queen Galaxia and King Solar, chose Princess Celestia and Princess Luna to rule over Equestria when they were grown mares. They saw evilness deep within the soul of the young "unicorn." Sombra had his dad's looks and his mother's strength in power. He learned his magic at a very young age, before his sisters. The young unicorn spent most of his time practicing magic and studying spells. Teenage years came soon enough. Both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna got into the new school their parents invented, "Magic School for Gifted Unicorns," or in their case, alicorns. Their parents taught them how to raise the sun and moon, and soon they were doing it by themselves, with their parents supervising. Both the young alicorns gained their cutie marks. Celestia with a Sun cutie mark, and Luna with a moon cutie mark. There was harmony throughout the land.

Except for what Sombra brought everywhere he went. Sombra was soon excepted into the Magic School for Gifted Unicorns. He made a friend there immediately. His name was Discord. He was not a unicorn, nor a pony. But his skills in magic were too excellent to turn down. Wherever they went, they killed harmony and created chaos. They even destroyed the harmony in choir... Discord was called the "Element of Chaos" and sometimes even the "King of Chaos." He was not bothered by these names, in fact, he enjoyed them. Discord had fallen in love with chaos. As King Sombra was with him every step of the way. Sombra began practicing more dark and chaotic magic behind his parents backs, while Discord began becoming softer. Discord had threw chaos out the door and fell in love with Princess Luna. As Sombra grew more powerful as his power grew. His body began to change as he continued. His eye color turned red, and the white part of his eye turned green. Purple dark magic came from his eyes as he resighted a spell. His magic color had changed from dark red, to spots of black, green, and purple surrounding his horn. He looked normal when he was not doing a spell, but his heart had blackened.

He confronted his parents one day and demanded a higher ranking than a "Prince," for he wanted more power. His parents refused, and his heart continued to blacken. He then decided if his parents would not give him a higher rank, he would take it. He then made a plan. He and Discord would team up and take over Equestria together. He confronted Discord about this. But he refused. Sombra shuned him and called him weak. He told Discord he had changed, and was no longer a god of chaos. Discord was hesitant, but soon took his offer to take over equestria together. He wanted keep his title as "King of Chaos." They then teamed together and created chaos throughout the land. Sombra gave himself a new title and proclaimed that from that day forth, he would be known as King Sombra. For complete power he killed his father and took all his mother's power for himself. He then sent his mother to the sun, so she could never return to reclaim her throne. That was it. There parents were gone. The only hope Equestria had left, was in two young alicorn's hooves. They realized their parents WERE the elements of harmony, and realized their parents were inside them.

Realizing this, they combined their power and banished Sombra from Equestria. Discord's mind was flooded with chaos. As the two sisters combined their magic once more, and locked Discord in a stone prison. Then the elements were created. Laughter, honesty, loyalty, kindness, generosity, and magic. The sisters locked away the elements and kept them safe from the hands of evil. They fixed Equestria from the chaos Sombra and Discord had created, and were announced the new rulers of Equestria.

Then came the story of NightMare Moon. Though, I figure you have heard that story and heard of Discord's return for chaos to rule once more, twice to be exact, the time of the sister's adulthood and the time of the mane six. And if I am not mistaken I'm sure you've heard the tale of Sombra's return as the mane six got rid of him once and for all. And the story of Tirek, and the tree that now holds the elements and keeps Equestria safe. Or so everyone thinks.
