"Yo Midnight! Is it ready for action yet?" A stallion called over to me as he trots over, holding something in a thick bag so the object would stay hidden from the eyes of evil I'm the world, he placed the bag next to  me as I looked over to the bag that was oddly glowing in a faint light. "Is that really one of them? Could it be a Pure Heart? I have not seen one yet but I would like to." I said. The stallion nodded slightly at my question. I beamed with happiness at the thought of the first Pure Heart we have collected of the many others. "Go get Timpani, she needs to see this artifact to know our mission Link Shield." I said over to Link. He nodded and ran off to find Timpani just like I asked him. "Finally our quest can begin, we need to remake the Purity Heart to save Requestria... A task my teacher layer upon my group and Timpani... Yet he wants us to take Clever Feather with us though I do not know why." I said to myself as the door swung open as Link Shield and another stallion guided in Timpani, who was looking startled slightly. "Midnight... What is going on? Why did you send Link and Blizzard for me?" Timpani asked me with a confused look in her rainbow eyes until they gazed at the brown leather bag that was slightly glowing beside me, "No way!!! Is that a Pure Heart!?!?" She asked dashing over to my side, "Link, Blizzard, go and find the others, this is something they need to see." Timpani instructed. They ran off to find the others. "Midnight, the energy f the pure heart is... making me feel more happy to be with you." She said as she kissed me on the cheek, her cheeks flushed slightly, as well as mine. "Midnight, I found Music Blast, Spiral Night, Pyro and Shadow!" Link said as he entered with the others behind him, as well as Clever Feather with them, "Is it time to open the bag now?" "It is. I shall open the bag and show the first of eight Pure Hearts scattered in the alternate realm known as Equestria, this was the only relic of the Purity Heart left." I said to the group as I opened the bag slowly with my magic. Everypony gasped as I took out the first Pure Heart, where when it was in sight, everyponys happiness went way up and Timpani once again kissed me, but this time it was on the lips, my face turned cherry red as did hers. "Shall we make our ways to Equestria now everypony?" I asked. Everypony  responded in a 'Yes' that sounded odd, but I accepted it as I put it in the heart pillar and the door to Equestria swung open as we all were sucked into the vortex, along with the Pure Heart itself, which we did not know we would need it later. Once free of the vortex, Timpani could see the town known as Ponyville In the distance, so she told the others while I gave her a nod saying she can take the lead from here for a while, she kissed me and she leaded us into town. "If I am right this town must be Ponyville..." Timpani said to the group with her, and with a group of six mares hearing her words, "This town seems much more peaceful then Vonyville. Much more calm and quiet." Timpani said in her sing-song voice as she lead us on, "Hey, didn't Prince Eclipse say to head into their woods that we know as the Neverfree Forest to find the castle where the next one lies?" She asked me. "Yes he did say that, onwards to the woods!" I yelled out as me and my group charged in the direction of the Everfree Forest, with the same group of six mates watching us still.                                                                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I do not trust them girls, we should go ahead to the castle and meet them there," The lavender one said, lighting her horn up with a teleportation spell to take them to the castle of the two royal sisters,where they did not know a Pure Heart resided there, "Keep a lookout for that group and try to stop,them if they get in, if that does not work then get me, I can stop them." She said, lighting her horn up again as she cast a mass stun spell on target dummies, "When they come, we will be ready for them." She said as her scrying spell tracked the one with rainbow eyes, who was Timpani. "But Twilight... Why do we have to look for them though? Why can't we wait for them to arrive here instead?" Asked the rainbow-maned pony who was now beside Twilight and was shaking her a lot, trying to get a response. "W-w-we n-n-need t-them to learn why they are here and what their goal is Rainbow." Twilight said, stopping Rainbow from shaking her with her magic mid-sentence. "Ok ok ok ok ok, I get it. I'll tell the others about what is going on and let them know why we need those ponies." Rainbow Dash said as she sped off with intense speed. "Well, this is where the adventure begins I guess..." Twilight said to herself, looking down at another book with the title 'History of the Purity Heart' as she opened it and started reading the book. "The Purity Heart is a mysterious gemstone and is the only thing to counter the Chaos Heart or revive power to Requestria, without its power, Requestria will fall into complete chaos due to the Chaos Heart." Twilight read aloud. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-1: The Light Pronosticus. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-1: The Light Pronosticus. "Holy crap... This is taking longer to reach the castle then I imagined... Where is the castle..." I mumbled to myself as I continued a good distance ahead of the slow group, I shook my head and muttered to myself, "The Light Pronosticus is in that castle and without it, we won't be able to locate the Pure Hearts in this world and save Requestria, the castle has to be near, it has to...I can feel its presence close by." I look up and see the castle that was not there before, I must have been walking for a while for it to finally come into view, I facehooved myself as I called back to the others, "Hurry up guys! The castle is up ahead!" I yelled as I broke into a gallop, eager to get into the castle. Although the others started galloping late after me, they caught up in no time, especially Timpani who wiped her brow. "Midnight, the Light Pronosticus is in there right?" Timpani asked me with her rainbow eyes wide from tiredness. I nodded. "Ok, let's find that book before somepony else does." She said as she started towards the door. "AND just what book are you talking about? Why are you even here huh? I have never seen you before in Ponyville until you mysteriously show up, what are you anyways? Spies for Discord?" A rainbow Pegasus yelled as she shot down in front of Timpani, her red eyes showing that she ment business. "Whoa there RD, no need to get all aggressive at them." An orange earth pony pulled Rainbow dash back and came up to me, extending her hoof, "Names Applejack, what's your name sugarcube?" Applejack asked me. "Names Midnight Pulse, leader of the Alternate Forces, by any chance do you have a leader I may speak to?" I asked Applejack as my sky blue eyes stared at her with curiosity f the orange pony in front of me. "We sure sugar do! I'll lead y'all to Twi, just follow me and let your group know to wait in the main lobby, I'll counter them with our group, ok sugarcube?" Applejack asked me as she beckoned me with her hoof as she spoke. I nodded and started to follow her, telling my group to wait in the lobby until my return. "So sugarcube, where do y'all come from?" Applejack asked me. "A place called Requestria, your alternate dimension." I awnsered Cooley. "Hard to believe that, but that doesn't matter much, Twi will know what do do about y'all." Applejack told me as she pointed to a door, "Just go in there sugarcube, Twilights waiting in there for y'all." "My thanks Applejack." I said as I entered the doors to see a lavender Alicorn, reading a large white book which I recognized as the Light Pronosticus instantly. "Hey! Where did you get that!?" I yelled out instantly. Twilight turned around and stared at me, "On the shelves, duh. And just why are YOU here?" She asked me with her eyes scanning over me, "I never seen you before in my life..." "I have come for the Light Pronosticus to locate the Pure Hearts." I awnsered her question with a cold tone as I took the Pronosticus from her with my magic. "I need this to find the pure heart hidden here." I told her. "Oh no you don't... Your not going anywhere until I know we can trust you." She told me. I opened my bag and took out the first Pure Heart, "This enough proof?" I asked while putting the Pure Heart back in my bag. "Fine... Go on, but I will be watching you closely, and I will be telling the princess about this." Twilight said as she turned off. "Go ahead." I said as I walked out of the room and slammed the door, mumbling to myself, "Of all the ponies that could lead, it had to be her?" I muttered, "That bitch better watch her back if she is to mess with me and my friends." I muttered to myself as I opened the Light Pronosticus and scanned for the pure heart,which was deep in the basement, so I started back to my friends. Meanwhile another pony watched me leave the room, his coat was grey, his hoofs were on fire and his eyes glowed orange. He muttered to himself "I better go get that Pure Heart and test his groups strength." He said as he mad his way to the basement. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-2: Return of Discord. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-2: Return of Discord. "Is it me or is this hallway getting longer? It was not this long when I ca..." That was all I said before I passed out. My mind however was still in function as I remembered that cider Applejack gave me earlier, 'It must have had something in it as I drank it, possibly a knockout poison to keep me away from the Pure Hearts, they must not trust me enough to let me find them to save my homeland,although Twilight allowed me to search the castle, Applejack must not have known yet so....' Those words rang in my mind as I felt something putting pressure on my chest, I sputtered and jolted up with haste to see Applejack lend me a hoof to help me up. "Y'all ok there? Must have been that cider I gave y'all. Alternate dimensions can't handle the taste of pure cider easily sugarcube, must have knocked you out clean." Applejack said to me. "Aye, it must of." I said as I took her hoof and got up. Applejack stared at my eyes, which had changed appearance to look like a foe that they defeated. "Uh why do yer eyes look like Discords?" She asked me. "Who's Discord? I feel like I know the name from somewhere before.... It just seems so..." I trail of as I shake my head, blowing off the memory from my mind. "Alrighty then, yer friends went ahead of y'all to the basement, I told them it was there when I overheard y'all." Applejack told me with a questioning look in her green eyes. "Ok, thanks AJ!" I yell as I sprint off again, little did I know my presence in this world caused Discord, the spirit of chaos and disharmony, to shatter his stone bonds again.                                                                        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Muhuhuhuhuhuh.... Free again, yet this time there is nopony nearby to stop me again. Perhaps I shall pay my son a visit, I'm coming to see you Midnight Pulse." Said Discord who shattered his bonds and was now able to move again, he snaps his lion paw fingers and teleports off. Celestia is charging out of the castle yelling right before he leaves, "Discord!! You won't get away this time!" She skids to a halt as he teleports off, leaving a glass of chocolate milk on Celestia's head. She scowled as she started to Ponyville to warn Twilight Sparke of his return again. As Discord warps to the castle Midnight is in, he slips by Rainbow Dash, who is guarding the doorway from intruders, so he slips though a window left open, as he enters he sees a lone light blue unicorn going towards the basement, "W-wait!" Discord yelled to him. The stallion turned around to face the dragonequus that yelled at him. "What is it creature? I have things to do." He said with a harsh tone. Discord took notice of the stallions eyes to see that they looked like his own. 'How very odd, this stallion has my eyes, perhaps this is Midnight Pulse.' He thought to himself as he spoke up finally, "Are you Midnight Pulse?" Discord asked the stallion watching him. "Yea.... And what's the big deal." He replied sternly. "Well that's no way to talk to your father now is it!?" Discord yelled at him, drawing attention to himself from RD and AJ. "What in tarnation was that?!" AJ yelled as she galloped to the main chamber to see both Midnight Pulse AND Discord looking at her. "Oh hay feathers... I better get Twi!" She yelled as she ran off. "I'm sorry, father, I did not know it was you." I replied sadly. "It's alright I forgive you Midnight, now let's go get that heart you need." Discord said. "Ok then..." I replied to him as I followed him to the basement. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-3: Taking on the resistance. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-3: Taking on the resistance. "Holy shit... how ling does it take to reach a fucking basement? we have been walking FOREVER." I clearly stated out for discord to hear, ever since I found out he was my dad I have been sticking with him for a while, even though a while was only five minutes but still, we had work to do and I needed to get the second pure heart but my friends went on ahead without me of course, so I carried on with Discord, staying hidden within the shadows so nopony could see us. "Jeez.... The stairs to the basement must be far off if we are not even close yet... how long does it take to find stairs." I complained slightly, but laughing. "How should I know? I'm only a spirit of chaos, its not like I can teleport us there..... Or can I?" He said with his playful tone as he looked at me. He grinned and snapped his fingers. his snap pulled us into a wormhole and we appeared in the basement, but the bad thing was that there was a large stone goliath in front of us. Discord just laughed and cryed out, "Is this there defence? A goliath? HAHAHAH!" "That's not all... There is still me." Somepony said from the shadows as he stepped out to greet us, his coat was black and his mane was white, his eyes however were a curious thing as their colour was a turquoise colour, but what was stranger then that is that he had Nightmare Moons eyes, he laughed at us. "Seriously? Is this the best Eclipse could get? A stubborn Unicorn and a Draconiquus?" He asked in a laughing tone, Not even those other ponies could beat me, there weak and slow as well." He laughed more at me and Discord. "Bad idea..." I said as I used my magic to lift the Goliath up and literally rip it in half out of anger and spite. "What did you do to them!" I demanded, my eyes flaring slightly. "Somewhere..." He said with a smirk. I had basically had it with that pony. Unicorns get this thing known as a rage period, well it was happening to me right now. My eye colour turned from green to red, my coat turned pure white and my mane caught fire. "TELL ME!" I yelled at him, literally right in his face now with the fire blazing. "T-t-they have been taken by Nightmare Moon!" The pony cried out as he sunk to the ground, scared of what I might do to him now that I have the info. My entire body turned to normal now as I looked down at the pony, I slightly smiled as my horn lit up and I freed his mind from Nightmare Moons control, I motioned to Discord that we need to find them and get the Pure Heart, I started ahead in a gallop, hoping to find my friends as fast as I could. I was in a hurry to find them to locate the Pure Heart. Discord just sighed and followed me, shaking his head ever so slightly as he tried to catch up to me. "We will find our friends and get the Pure Heart. I vow on it." I said to myself as we ran to find them. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-4: taking what's rightfully mine. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1-4: taking what's rightfully mine. "AH MOTHERBUCKER!!" I yell out as I hold the gash on my left hoof, the blood was seeping out of it past my hoof and was dripping on the floor now, creating a large blood pool under me. I jumped high into the air despite my state of being and landed on Nightmare Moons head dead on centre. "Take that bitch." I say as I backflip to the ground, wincing in pain from my wound. Nightmare Moon had already subdued my friends and held them captive, she laughed harshly and readied a magic bolt which hit its target dead on. Nightmare Moon laughed again and said, "Oh what's the mater Midnight? I thought you would like eternal night!" She yelled in her equestrian voice, "WERE YOU LYING WHEN YOU SAID THAT?!" Her voice shook the castle violently, despite being in the basement. Although for what she did not know, the marking on my left hoof started to glow when she blasted me with the magic bolt which gave me energy. Focusing deeply, I used my energy stored up and blinked behind her without using a single bit of my unicorn magic, which was startling to her, although I just grinned and said, "What? Never seen a pony who can blink before?" I say as I nail her in the head again with another jump, dazing her. "Ugh... I'm not done yet..." She said as she charged me this time with her horn lowered and aimed at my heart which was beating fast, she laughed as she charged me, thinking I did not have a backup plan. I waited until the right moment to draw my sword and as I did, I blinked to the left one foot so the stab would miss me but so she was just in range to get sliced by my sword, and as I closed my eyes, I heard the sound of flesh and armour getting damaged heavily. The noise made me smile and I said aloud, "Never think one has no backup plan." I say as I drive my blade into her back with the tip denting her armour on the other side, though the blow would not kill her. "AGH!!!!!!!" Nightmare Moon screamed in anguish as she collapsed to the floor with blood pooling everywhere, as she watched her blood flow she noticed that the floor was drenched in blood and that she was about to die even though she was not. "WHATS GOING ON HERE!?!" Twilight yelled as she bolted in just to get completely shocked at all the blood on the floor, Nightmare Moon lying there helplessly, and me holding a blood-stained sword. Twilight basically lost it and grabbed me with her magic, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO LUNA?!" She screamed in my face while shaking me. "Stabbed her, duh." I replied cooly as I trotted over to Nightmare Moons bag and got the key to the jail cell and made my way over to it casually. I unlocked the door and opened it with a loud creek emitting from it which pained my ears badly, but what I saw was my friends, Discord AND the Pure Heart which Timpani was holding close to her chest. When Timpani saw me she dashed over to me and locked me in a crushing hug while crying into my chest while saying, "I was so worried!" She was balling her eyes out as she hugged me, trying to comfort both me and herself, when she looked up to me she smiled and leaned up to me and kissed me, her cheeks bright red as she put the Pure heart up to my chest and she moved my hoof onto it. "Take what's rightfully yours Midnight." She said to me with a smile. "Thank you Timpani, and also as I vowed long ago, I won't rest until your safe where I failed to save your mother..." I dully reminded myself as I remembered back then when I was imprisoned for false murder. My eyes welled up with tears as I started crying myself, but my crying was a lot more stronger then hers in the long run. She hugged me tightly saying, "It's going to be fine Midnight, just forget about back then." She said to me calmly. I smiled and held the Pure Heart up high, revealing that I have gotten the second Pure Heart out of eight of them. I lowered it and put it in my bag with the first one and along with my group, left the basement. Twilight was watching the whole thing, "So he was not lying when he said he was collecting them." She said as she turned her attention to Nightmare Moon, who was now Luna again. "I'm sorry Luna, he did not know about you at all." Twilight apologized to Luna. "It's fine Twilight Sparkle. We shall inform our sister of this matter." Luna said to Twilight, saying, ""We will stop him from getting the pure hearts if it is the last thing we do." Hey eyes glaring as she said it. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2-1: Onwards! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2-1: Onwards! As the first sunlight peeked through the blinds of my house and into my eyes, I groaned and shielded hem as I got out of my. Ed and stretched my hooves, which were stiff from not moving all night as I am used to keeping them in motion. "Fuck... That's a bit stiff..." I muttered as I heard the satisfying crack of my back which took the painful stiffness out of my back. "Ahh that's much better, maybe I need a bed that moves around a lot so my hooves and back don't go stiff." I murmured as I moved to my door and opened it with my magic, my house was surprisingly empty, which was a first to me as the others always wait for me to wake up, I could tell something was up... They are always waiting for me, unless I forgot something important which would not surprise me as I am forgetful. I headed to the kitchen and got myself some hay bacon and started to fry it, the sizzling noise and it's sweet smell made me more hungry then I would have been. After it cooked I ate the bacon up fast to satisfy my hunger. I got up from the table and went to clean myself up. After which I headed outside to see everypony completing their normal work. "MIDNIGHT!!!!!!!!!" Timpani yelled as she ran at me with a major worried look on her face, her normally combed mane was unkept completely and all over the place. Her eyes looked normal but they looked glazed at the same time, looking tired and confused, she latched onto me and gripped me in a tight hug that nearly choked me. "Ack... Your choking me.." I sputtered as I fell, still weak from combat. "Oh sorry!" She managed to say to me. I was about to respond but something snapped in me, lowering my mood drastically. My eyes shifted into a glare. "Anyways, we should catch up to the others." Timpani said as she started. All I said was, "No." "What?!" She yelped as a massive blast of magic hit her. "Leave now, I see the truth now and I see your intentions to betray me." I spat. "What!? No we would never" she said as she started towards me. "I SAID LEAVE" I yelled at full force, copying what was Luna's equestrian voice. I charged my magic to its limits, blasting everything near me with magic, making them stagger or blown away. I grunted and made off on my way to my home which was all I cared for now, being left alone for good and hoping to never see them again. Somewhere off in the distance, Ruin grinned, "Perfect, he wants nothing of his friends, it should be easy to get him to work for us now." He said as his orange eyes glowed as he warped to Canterlot. "He's subdued and never wants his friends again." Ruin said. "Good, I'll go and convince him to talk and say why he is here." Celestia said as she left the castle in a flurry of magic.                                                                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "WHAT!?" I yelled as Celestia entered my home, my rage was fuming. "I know what happened and I want you to join us so those traitors to you can feel your wrath in full." Celestia said to me. "Humph, where do I sign up." I said, grinning as my coat and mane colour changed to a black coat and a violent green colour, which was permanent. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2-2: Leaderless is an easy target. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2-2: Leaderless is an easy target. As I finally opened my eyes, I noticed I felt different then before, like that I had two extra limbs then before, I gasped when I remembered what had happened and shot to my hooves. I had once again been Dishonored and it was once again time to use the mask of the assassins the engineer made me back in the day when I was accused. I went over to my night stand and opened it up, I threw everything out of it and grabbed a hidden key, which was for the safe that contained my gear if I ever needed it again. I opened my closet and opened the safe which contained my mask and cloak, as well as six bone charms, my sword, my pistol, my crossbow, and sone runes that I had not used yet. "Oh old friends, you made the wrong choice of betraying me, you shall see my rage in full." I said as I threw the cloak on and placed the mask over my head once more, doing so I felt a power surge through me into my left hoof, then I remembered about the outsiders mark which was placed upon me. With my new task in hand, I headed out to Ponyville, where my pursuit would start against my new enemies. "I come for you, old allies." I muttered as I used the mark upon my hoove to activate a blink spell, warping me off. -Meenwhile on the road to Cloudsdale- "Well now what, we lost our leader, the element of magic, and not to mention two pure hearts, the locator, and Timpani's boyfriend." Tinker said aloud to the group of friends traveling, Tinker himself was upset about what had happened but it was nothing he could fix. He had decided to lead this operation until they could get their true leader back. Discord just grinned and laughed. "Ahh my son is taking on my own traits, how delightfully wonderful!" He cried out in a fit of laughter. When he looked over to Tinker who was giving him the stink eye, he just grinned. "Oh lighten up Tinker, he will be back, eventually." Discord said to the group. Tinker glared more. "Not. Helping Discord." Tinker said, earning another laugh from Discord. Tinker just groaned and yelled out. "Okay team, we lost our leader and I have taken this over now, we must move on to Cloudsdale for the Pure heart! Any questions?" He asked. Discords lion paw shot up, "Oooh I got one!" He yelled. "What is it Discord?" Tinker said, trying to keep his cool. "Why are you so boring, bossy, a nerd, and such?" He asked, counting out his points for all to see and hear. "DISCORD!" Shadow snapped at Discord, who just grinned. Shadow had disliked Discord ever since they meant, and now he had to deal with him in the group. "Do us a favour and SHUT THE FUCK UP!" He yelled at Discord, who was not taken aback at all. "Oh calm down shadow, were here already." Discord announced and pointed up towards the city of Cloudsdale above them. "Let's go!" They all yelled. Meanwhile in the bushes, Midnight was watching them. "Targets found, they are at Cloudsdale as we speak." He spoke I to a walkie talkie. "Aye I,ll stay on them" Midnight said as he blinked up to the town. He was surprised at the towns décor that he started exploring while using the locator to get to the heart first so he knew where to go afterwards, or he could just take the heart and leave, but that would be to easy. "Once the others wake up we will go to Cloudsdale." Celestia scanned him over numerous times and spoke up finally, "I need you to go to Cloudsdale and protect the Pure Heart within the walls of the factory." Celestia said to him. Ruin nodded and shot out, leaving a fiery trail behind him.
