I tried my best to make this "serious". But hey, I had a great time writing this abominable masterpiece.
Chapter 1: Storms of Promise and Destiny
Special, Deluxe Special
Chapter 1: Storms of Promise and Destiny
The sun was shining and the birds were chirping. You, Deluxe, however, were in the basement of your mother’s home. Deep in the anti-social cave you took refuge in, you sat behind a computer screen. You looked at such gorgeous ponies. Many in socks, bikinis, nothing? Oh my!
“Oh… yes,” you say, admiring such of the complexity of complex plexions. You touched yourself so well in the back since your back had quite of an itch. With a scratch, you groaned in pleasure. The relief over the body made you shudder. Oh such wondrous feeling! Then you remembered. Your mommy and family weren’t home for the rest of the night. A sly smile appeared on your wondrous face before the clash of thunder struck. The heavens above streaked lightning across the sky, making the sunny day no more. You smiled. You love the sound of thunder. You love the rain. In that thought, the power shut off by the gnashing teeth of the storm above.
“Fuck,” you thought, looking in the eyes of total darkness. You reached into your pocket for your smartphone and clicked the power button. Huh. Nothing. Your phone refusal to turn on made you groan in frustration. “Well, I have to find my out of here,” you say, standing straight up. You held your hand out in front of you and saw nothing. Blinking, there was nothingness. Just darkness. Everywhere. Luckily, you know where the door was. Right behind you. Searching for the cold door knob, you turned it to only see more infinite darkness. But you knew that near your left would be stairs up to the kitchen above. Step by step with your hands out in front of you, the sound outside the house rumbled the bowels of the house.
You walked upstairs, with your bare feet leaving condensation on the chilled wooden floor. However, upon reaching the top, the roar of thunder clashed. You jerked in surprise, feeling as if the storm was inside the house. “Sweet Gandhi tits,” you say to yourself. Of course, you realize it was just a storm and brushed it off your shoulders.
The storm was just a beautiful display of nature. The rain pattering the windows of your home comforted you. The water dripped with each drop, accompanied with the loud clap of thunder. You pulled out your phone and clicked on the power button.
Nothing.
In the flash of lightning, the loud crack of light from the skies above assisted you in finding a light switch. The image of the kitchen embedded in your mind, with the onsetting darkness closing in on your eyes. Putting the phone back into your pocket, the vibrations of nature shook the house. You felt the walls close to you and groped for a exposed switch. The cold walls were smooth, yet had a rough texture. Soon, your fingers found the switch. You flipped it.

*click*
*clic-click*
Nothing.
You groaned again and took out your phone. It was still dead. Defeated, you sulked your head and sighed. Now what could you do?
A rumble in the sky soon ceased, leaving you in complete darkness and silence. You couldn’t see anything and hear anything at all.
“Bullshit,” you mutter under your breath, putting your hands in front of you, “There’s got to be at least-”
*CRACK*
The oven in the kitchen caught a spark and made an orb of light blue light. The cerulean-white light engulfed the room, almost blinding you. You put your arms in front of yourself to shield from the light, but it was just too bright. An ominous force began to suck you closer to the oven before a powerful force sucked you into the oven.
What you felt next was the taste of colors and the feeling of space in your arse.
You screamed your lungs out as you felt heat and the chilled cold press against your chest and head. This was hell. You were going to die. However, it all stopped of the sudden. You found yourself in a confined small box too small to move around it.
“What?” you say to yourself putting a hand in front of your face. It was something hard. Tough. Something that was hard and tough.
“Where the hell am I?” you say out loud, looking around in darkness. What was tripping you what was how you could see your scrunched up body in a pitch black void. The hand pressing up against nothing also started to make you wig out. Since you also had claustrophobia it made the situation much better for you. The chest cavity of your upper body began to hyperventilate of your large body mass. You pound your fists in nothingness and just wanted to get out. What gave you superhuman strength all of the sudden was a sharp burn on your ass cheek. It hurt.
You let out a weird shout that sounded like a mix between a yackle and a cat-moose and cracked the glassy void. Your fists then cracked space itself and a light engulfed you.
Chapter 2: Birth of New Roots
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 3: I'm Special
You grumble, feeling your sight slowly coming back. All you could remember was greeting in a very friendly matter towards the Cutie Mark Crusaders. However, you found yourself locked in a very complex scary metal cage.
“Just look at the thing,” a white mare by the name of Rarity comments while looking at your body, “It is just atrocious!”
Well, there goes the shoes, you think, feeling your body limp as ever. You barely open your eyes to only see a crowded amount of ponies huddled around your cage.
“What is it, Twilight?” the orange mare, Applejack asks, looking at an alicorn purple mare.
“I have no clue,” Twilight replies, looking through multiple books, “I don’t have any information on a hairless ugly monkey. By the looks of it, it does not have much intelligence.”
“How do you know that ?” a pegasus named Rainbow Dash says.
“By looking at the animal kingdom as a whole, this thing here uses hands. And monkeys uses hands. I do know for a fact that monkeys use hands to grasp items, swing from trees, and throw their feces,” Twilight explains, “Right, Fluttershy?”
“Yes, that is true,” Fluttershy replies, “If only Curious George wasn’t curious…”
“Anyway, saying that animals having no intelligence is mean,” Twilight says, “However, we do know that many of them depend on their instincts and our care.”
“Did it say anything, Apple Bloom?” Applejack asks towards her younger sister.
“Well…”
Many minutes ago.
Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo scream at what had jumped out of behind a tree. Very dark colored teeth and reddened eyes looked menacingly towards them. The hulking mean muscles of the creature were the textures of creame and garbage. It spewed saliva everywhere, indicating it being dangerous. The roar and smell from the creature was just crude and disgusting.
Suddenly, a large red figure behind the monster bashed a shovel on its head.
“And that’s where you hit it, Big Mac?” Applejack asks towards a red stallion.
“Eeyup.”
“With the scooper?”
“Eeyup.”
“So that’s what the smell is.”
“Eeyup.”
You could feel a very strong stench coming from behind your head. From the feeling of it, it was thick, sludgy, and smelly. Very smelly. You took in a deep breath to smell the fresh feces that laid in your hair. You almost coughed and gagged, obtaining the attention of ponies that were around you.
“Hey, it’s awake!” Scootaloo says, peering at you.
“Shh, be quiet chicken,” you reply.
“Who you callin’ chicken, chicken?” she replies back.
“I think it’s trying to communicate,” Twilight says, scribbling down a few notes on parchment.
“No you,” you say.
“Sorry for my rude interruption, but I see what you have it captured in this contraption,” the voice of Zecora says.
“You wot mate,” you reply back in retaliation.
“Zecora, you saw this thing?” Twilight asks the zebra.
“I was inside my hut when I saw what it looked like to be a butt,” Zecora rhymes, “Buns like bread loaves, I saw it being chased by timberwolves.”
“So, he’s from the Everfree Forest?” Apple Bloom asks.
“That I do not know, Apple Bloom,” Zecora replies, “It is a mystery where this creature looms.”
“Actually, I’m from ‘Murica,” you say, speaking out, “Yessiree bob, ‘Murica.”
“ ‘Murica?” Twilight says out loud before writing it down.
“Yes’m.”
“Never heard of it.”
"Why do you have orange bits on your fingers?" Apple Bloom asks, her hoof pointed towards your cheesy fingers.
"Cheese puffs," you reply.
"Your red eyes?" Sweetie Belle asks.
"A lot of Dota 2," you say. You then cleared your throat. “I am Deluxe, Traveler of Many Worlds and Dawn of Ski-doosh,” you say, making up things on the spot and remembering Kung Fu Panda.
“How many “worlds” have you traveled?” Rainbow Dash asks you.
“Many.”
“Tell me this, Deluxe,” Rainbow Dash says, “If you’ve traveled many worlds, how come you messed your arrival up?”
Shit.
It’s a trap!
You begin to struggle to escape.
“It looks like it walked out of Tartarus,” Applejack whispers to Twilight, “Should we send it back?”
“I’m actually curious about this “ ‘Murica”, ” Twilight replies with a soft whisper.
“Were you going to eat us?” Sweetie Belle asks you as you rock the cage you’re in.
“No,” you reply quickly, feeling the cyan lesbian’s eyes bore into you.
“Just tell me this then,” Rainbow Dash says, “Just what are you?”
You stopped moving and looked at Rainbow Dash.
“I’m special,” you reply with a grin.
Chapter 4: Imprisoned and Alicorns
Chapter 4: Imprisoned and Alicorns
The word of “Deluxe” spreads quickly throughout Equestria. The word of the ugly hairless ape gathers the public’s attention of an alien traveler bestows onto their world.
“How do you know our language?” Twilight asks you.
“I would like to ask that myself,” you reply, still in the chains of metal bondage.
Twilight scribbles something down before her green and purple servant was given the paper. Twilight whispers something before you watch the slave puff the paper into smoke.
“You’re blazing?” you say to the dragon named Spike.
“What?” he replies.
“You know,” you say, giving him a ghost nudge, “Puffing that O.G. dank kush?”
Spike is lost for words.
“Hey, I’m asking the questions around here,” Twilight says, stepping into your vision.
“Okay.”
Within seconds, a bright and dark light appears inside the room you were in. The image of a white and black alicorn manifests before your eyes. The regal princesses of Equestria; Princess Celestia and Princess Luna now stood in the presence of the room. Many ponies and dragon bows, leaving Twilight to engage a conversation with the princesses.
Your human hearing was enough to capture the conversation.
“Princess Celestia and Princess Luna!” Twilight greets.
“Greetings, Twilight,” Princess Celestia replies.
“Good morrow,” the princess of the night says.
“I see what you’ve got my letter,” Twilight says, “Is this thing really important?” she continues, looking at you.
Princess Celestia replies, “Actually, this creature is very important. Luna has discovered something last week that would jeopardize our world.”
“We hath discovered a dire conclusion upon Equestria, Twilight,” Princess Luna says, “We hath foreseen a mysterious creature being part of a missing piece of history.”
The moonbutt princess looks towards you, her penetrating gaze piercing yours. You gulp at the cold stare and watch her approach you.
“It is what they had proclaimed,” she says as her horn glows. A mystic light appeared before her and shrouded the room. You wince at the blinding light. Soon, a magical pendant was hovering in the air above everypony and you.
“I ask all of you to leave,” Princess Luna requests, looking at the crowd of ponies. They did what they were told. The moon princess looks at you and squints. The “pendant” was a simple black ball. A mysterious power arose from it.
“Deluxe, Traveler of Many Worlds and Dawn of Ski-doosh, do you know what you are?” Princess Luna asks grimly.
You don’t know what to say. You were just here for fun, but this? What was happening?
“I am a human being,” you reply softly.
“Human ,” the lunar princess repeats, “But that is what you are not.”
You were alarmed. “Hey, I know where I came from,” you state, “I live on Planet Earth, the United States of America.”
Twilight’s murmur of “ ‘Murica” and “America” caught your ears.
“That is all an illusion, Deluxe,” Princess Celestia speaks, “What you thought of your world is nothing more than a paradox to stop the inevitable.”
“Throughout last week, I hath studied the pattern of the stars and found the same symbol over and over again,” Princess Luna says as Princess Celestia presented a piece of parchment.
Princess Celestia presented a piece of parchment.
“It is a mysterious figure that directed me to know your coming.”
“Wha-how?” you reply in shock.
“Studying the history of the past carves up the present into the future,” Princess Luna states, “The symbol is found throughout the course of our history and points towards a date: today.”
“Huh?”
“Today is the seventh day of the seventh month, Deluxe,” Princess Luna says through gritted teeth, “Today is the purge of our world.”
Princess Celestia looks at the clock beside her. “It is 11:00 am. It is only eight hours before the seventh hour.”
“Deluxe,” Princess Luna says, looking at you, “What I say may sound truly foolish, but you must trust and believe in us. Only you can save our world.”
You could feel time itself pause when she said those words. This was it? After what you thought would be a fantastic journey in Equestria was actually the bitter truth?
“Why?”
That is all you can say.
Princess Celestia’s magic grasps the black orb pendant and walks close to your cage. “After hearing those words, I sense a power in you that is faltering this,” she says, letting her magic guide the necklace towards you.
Upon looking up at the orb, you feel a surge of power run through you. A vital spark soon begins to envelop inside the room. Your fingertips braces the static of the orb as smoke fills your cage. You roar. The cage explodes, exposing your new form before the princess trio.
You felt your four limbs on the ground, but something told you it was right. Two mighty powerful wings stretched to the heavens above with a long horn propped on top your head. You tapped the ground. The sound of a hoof reached your ears. Your red eyes peered through the smoke as your black complexion was as dark as the night.
“What… am I?” you whisper.
“You are an alicorn,” Princess Luna says.
“The alicorn of the end,” Princess Celestia adds on, “You are special , in given the choice.”
“Choice of what?” you ask, your voice like darkness.
“We do not know,” the two princesses reply in unison.
You look towards Twilight. She looks terrified. You walk away from the battered cage and approach her. Using one of your strong wings, you blew some dust off of her.
“Are you alright?” you ask her.
“Yes,” she replies, “Just shocked, that’s all.”
You gave a weak smile, but a smile nonetheless. “I am too.”
"It is not a 'L'."
"It is a '7'."
My name is Deluxe. And I am Special.
I am 7.
I am not 7-years old, but the number 7. "Special" has 7 letters.
I am the 7th piece of history. I am 7. I am the 7 Deadly Sins, 7 days in the week, 7 colors in the rainbow, 7 Seas, 7 Continents, and the 7th End.
This is the story of how I die. And of how my death brings forth a new beginning.
I am 7, and I ask of you of one thing.
Please,
Remember me.
7
"Mommy, look at that!" a little white filly said, pointing her hoof at the beautiful sky. The wondrous colors of the rainbow shined through the clouds onto the wet lands of a powerful empire.
The mother smiled and looked up at the majestic display of light. "It's pretty, isn't it?" she asked her daughter.
"Yeah!!"
"The rainbow holds the meaning of an important promise to be never broken," the mother explained, watching her daughter stare onto the wet sky, "However, it has changed meaning a hundreds of years ago."
"Hundreds years? That's like, a very long time!!" the white filly exclaimed, "So what's the new meaning now?"
"The sacrifice of the one who saved us," the mother replied, "He's the reason why we're still here."
"What was his name?" the small filly asked, her attention now on her mother.
"His name was Deluxe, but he wasn't a pony," the mother continued on as a fresh rainy breeze rolled in, "What you have to know is that he's number seven."
"Something can't be a number, mommy," the filly commented.
A soft smile appeared on the mother's face. She chuckled. "Actually, something can be anything ."
The filly was confused and looked up at the sky, "He's seven, huh?" The seven colors of the rainbow gleamed, striking her eyes.
"Special Light, you have to realize that the history of Deluxe is a mysterious one. Questions are asked, but answers are never given."
The filly was saddened by this and looked at the rainbow. "So... he's sad," she said, pointing at the arched light. The rainbow was in the shape of a frown, similar to the one on Special Light's face.
Special Light's mother smiled at this. "Special Light," she said, "Go on your head." The filly did so. "Now, what do you see?"
What was the "frown" of the rainbow was now a "smile". The filly was surprised by this and felt her mother grab her by the hind hooves and hovered over the ground. The mother flipped Special Light over and hugged her.
"You know what today is, Light?" the mother asked.
"My birthday?" Special Light exclaimed with a bright smile.
The mother chuckled. "Yes. But also another thing."
"And what is that?"
"Today is the seven-hundredth year since Deluxe's sacrifice. Today is also the seventh month of the seventh day. And you're also turning seven," she said, hugging her child.
"I'm special, aren't I?" Special Light asked as she hugged her mother.
"Yes. Yes you are," she replied, snuggling. With a few flaps of her gentle wings, they both landed on the ground. "Now, let's go to the ceremony! Princess Twilight is going to give a speech there!"
"Yay!!"
The Twilight Empire spanned across the whole world, marking an important point in the ponies'. Millions of ponies would travel to the empire's capital, Ponyville, on the seventh month and on the seventh day. Earth ponies, unicorns, and pegasi alike paid their respects to Deluxe, to the Tree of Harmony which resided in the Rainbow Forest. Descendants of Rainbow Dash took charge of protecting the shrine.
Fluttershy's descendants were also in charge protecting. They used the animals to safeguards the lands.
Applejack's bloodline continued on, making the biggest apple-producer in the world.
Pinkie Pie's pure blood has passed on to many ponies, spreading the laughter and joy throughout the empire.
Rarity's name was carried on throughout the stars, blessing her kin. Achieving a high place in society, her family soon influenced fashion and granted a popular name throughout the empire.
Princess Twilight Sparkle walked up to the Tree of Harmony and placed her hoof on it. The mighty crown upon her head represented power and glory of the power she now held. However, the princess took it off and laid it on the ground. She looked into a glass encased box which held Deluxe's phone. Ancient magic had preserved it all these years and stayed put where it was dropped. It was charred, but nonetheless, it was as if it was Deluxe had just arrived in Equestria. Princess Twilight Sparkle looked at the burned number 7 in the tree and then to the phone.
"Deluxe, I hope you can hear me," Twilight said, touching the number, "It's been such a long time ever since that day." Twilight could remember the atrocious arrival of the talking monkey and the false accusations. However, they were overturned by the talks they had. The touches they embraced. The laughs they shared. The friendships he made. And the kiss before his departure.
"Thank you for everything, Deluxe," Twilight whispered as a single tear escaped from an eye, "Thank you."
As she said that, the rainbow's "smile" grew bigger. Ponies recalled hearing a voice that day that said; "Thank you ."
The origins of Deluxe are still a mystery.
Author's Note
What was supposed to be a very goofy story (or it's still goofy) sort of took a sinister dark turn. Is it "good"? I hope so. I worked very hard on this thing. I've started the first bit of the story about 12-13 days before the deadline, knowing full well I could finish it.
Well...
What you read were the last 48 hours of the contest before it was done.
Chapter 5: Corpse of History
Chapter 5: Corpse of History
“We must answer the question of what is the 7th piece of the puzzle,” Princess Luna proclaims, “Only one event in history that captures my attention is the return of me, or more to Nightmare Moon.”
“Twilight, you should get your friends,” you suggest, “They might know.”
Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash appeared very shortly. All of them were alarmed by your new presence. Your muscular legs and dominant form marked power to you.
“He’s Deluxe,” Twilight explains to her friends.
Rainbow Dash says wryly look towards you. “Daaaa mn,” was all she says.
“Again, my return,” Princess Luna states, “It has something to do with Deluxe’s arrival.”
“It was also Twilight’s first day in Ponyville,” Applejack says.
“We then found the Elements of Harmony!” Pinkie Pie chimed in.
“Afterwards, we-” Rarity begins, but you interrupt all of the sudden.
“Elements of Harmony!!” you exclaim.
“Well, I never,” Rarity says under her breath due to your rude interjection.
“There’s six of us,” Fluttershy observes, “And then there’s you,” she says, pointing at you.
“That makes,” you begin.
“Seven,” Princess Celestia finishes.
“Look at this!!” Twilight exclaims, holding up the mysterious figure.
“Look at this!
She continues, “Looks like an ‘L’, doesn’t it?” She pauses. “But ,” she promptly flips it over. “It is a ‘7’.”
"It is a '7'."
Princess Luna’s magic brought everypony to the Tree of Harmony.
“Look at it!” Rainbow Dash exclaims.
The bright white tree was vibrating, shaking the entire cave. The intense vibration leads to a small black object near the roots of the tree. Your phone. You could see the hole in which you escaped from and saw an even brighter white in there.
The 5 branches and the heart of the tree connects towards the Mane Six. Your phone begins to swirl and lands on a rock. It brings a beam of light that connects you with it. In a flash, all of you were sucked into the tree.
What you saw was time. Bits and pieces of it. A tundra made of dust and ice presents towards you and the Mane Six.
“T-This is it, isn’t it?” you whisper, “This is… the corpse of history…”
Chapter 6: Farewell
A loud roar erupts from the bowels of history. It was very loud. And pain was carried in the sound. A pair of white eyes peered into the dust storm and patrolled around. A large white portal then enveloped beside the thing.
You look towards the portal and then to the mane six.
"Goodbye," you whisper faintly. Before you stepped in, you heard Twilight call out something. You turn around to see her gallop towards you. You take a few steps out and see her out of breath.
"Twilight, you know I must do this," you say, "It is the only way of saving our world."
"I know," Twilight whispers, "But just one more thing..."
She leaps forwards at you and places her lips against yours. You found yourself in a deep kiss with the alicorn and embraced it as the pieces of the past, present, and future flew around you. A thick gust if time was building on. The kiss was only a few seconds, but it seemed to last for hours. However, she broke away and ran towards her friends. The world itself was starting to collapse. The beast roared and stomped towards you.
Taking a deep breath, you looked at the portal. "My debt to life... is paid."
You step inside.
