Born From a Rainbow
Prologue
Load Full StoryNext ChapterI escaped. Not with my sanity, though. Few ponies do. Actually, NO ponies do. It's one of its prime horrors. You see things that you can never un-see, hear things you can never un-hear, and feel things that you hoped and prayed your hooves would never touch. It's still there sometimes. Lingering on your hooves, blotting your senses.
I survived. One of the rare. In fact, one of the three. Ever since the princesses disappeared from Equestria, it has been in full production mode. Unicorns are struggling to raise the sun and moon, the sky is no longer its clear and happy self, and the stars no longer twinkle in the night. But most strangely, however, are the rainbows.
They've become brighter. Brighter than anypony could imagine, or even can remember. The colors are so vivid and gorgeous as they shoot across the sky. I've seen the ponies smile broadly and tilt their heads up towards the heavens, letting out a cheerful cry.
Better that than a horror-stricken cry. I've heard those before. I NEVER want to hear them again.
But I do.
Every night as I lie awake in my bed.
The nightmares won't stop. They just keep coming.
I can never erase them from my memory.
The horrid memories... of the Rainbow Factory.
