Life can be a very funny thing sometimes. When your a child you dream of exploring space and traveling to new places. When your older you look back and think how silly you were to dream of those things. That's usually when life sneaks up behind you and smashes you in the head with a mallet and yells " Ha,Ha take that sucker ! " For you it's a little bit of a different scenario, but still the same. As a kid you were always one to love seeing fantasy shows about fictional places and you still love watching cartoons , one of which was My little pony. Leading you to becoming a Brony. Like the other Bronies when you read the Human in Equestria stories all the time and you wish you could be that human, but knowing that would never happen to someone like you . Little did you know that you would be in your own Human in equestrian story soon enough.
One day you were with an old friend from middle school and the two of you were going to see a movie at the mall. While your were waiting you went looking at some of your favorite stores to see if anything new was there. You then noticed a new store you haven't seen before. It looked like something out of a horror movie. As two teenage boys you naturally went in and looked around.The stuff there went from creepy dolls, books in odd languages, bloodied objects ,all the ways to old style weapons that glowed strangely with auras that screamed "EVIL!!!" You were like a kid in a candy store. while your friend was looking at a axe with dark voices whispering in toungs around it you noticed something that stood out in the store. On one wall hung a simple mirror. It wasn't nearly big enough to show your whole body and it was too big to be hidden in your jacket, It was oval shade and it's frame was dark blue with weird symbols on it. when you touched it and it felt warm and seemed to vibrate a little.
You were curious about the mirror and asked the store clerk about it. He replied that he didn't know and was just hired to watch the store for today as it would close tomorrow. the two of you left and went to see the movie, but you couldn't even remember what it was about. The entire time your mind was on that mirror. After the movie you went back and bought it and brought it home. You came home at night and hide it in your room. For a reason you can't explain you didn't want your family to know about the mirror. when your parents were away or out and about you would take it out and study it. For days you looked up anything you can about it, but could never find out anything about the mirror, until the day you found out what it does.
One day while you were looking at the mirror you pulled out your phone to listen to some music. While you were moving to get the mirror out from under your bed the headphones got unplugged. Your phone was set to play some Brony songs and the first was "Apples to the core". While you were looking at it you muttered to yourself "I wish this thing could just show me-" you never got to finish the sentence because the song said the word Equestria at the same time and activated the mirror. It's surface rippled like water and you saw Equestria just like the maps you've seen online. After repeating the scenario you discovered the mirror can look into other dimensions by simply telling it to show you.
You were amazed to discover it can look into fantasy worlds. you could see so much, not just My little pony, but dragon ball, Narnia , Oz, and so many more. Plus the device could see into not just cartoons ,but fanfics. Each story seemed to contain it's own universe. You couldn't believe it. You could see into cartoon lands with just a command , but you soon found out it could do more than just show you the places.
One night when your family and you came home from going out to eat you went to your room and saw a white glow from under your Bed . The mirror was glowing a blinding white, radiating heat, and vibrated like a message chair set to high. You touched it and you later wish you hadn't. It was like being sucked through a vacuum sweeper: Everything went Dark and the was howling wind all around and a magical force seemed to hold you to the mirror. The room returned to normal and you landed on the floor with a thud. You got up and looked around, The mirror looked like it normally did again and you were still in your house. you went to talk to your parents but they weren't in the house, no one seemed to be in it. Not even your dog was in the backyard. you went outside to look around and you saw quit a sight.

"Greetings students of Ponyville High, I have graced your school with the privilege to house true royalty!" screeched a voice so awful King Sombra would be cringing.
Starburst rolled her eyes as she and her friends Annie and Prism watched the young stallion known as Prince Nobleblood strut into the main doors of the school as if he owned the place while being flanked by two burly students from the Hoofball team who would probably become his new cronies.
"lets get out of here before he sees us " Starburst whispered to her friends as she was already trying to sneak off.
" Ah lady Starburst !" cried out Nobleblood as he walked strait toward the Pegasus mare. "It's an honor to see you again my dear." The prince said bending forward and reaching out to kiss her hand, but failing as the mare backed away as every teenage filly in the area shot daggers at her.
" Nobleblood." Starburst said not even bothering to put on a fake smile "What brings you here of all places? especially so near me?" she said trying not to punch him as the stallion's eyes roamed her body in a not at all subtle manner.
" Funny story really, My Father overheard your parents talk about this little school and decide in order for me to become more humble, he thought it would be best for me to enroll part time here." The pompus pony replied looking around at the environment with a look of obvious boredom. "It is quite incredible to see such horrid conditions they live in , its no wonder they are below us. Perhaps maybe you can be my guide and the both of us can see the sights, Privately?" He asked putting on a grin so cheesy it would win a cheesy award.
" I'm afraid I can't me and my friends have to work on something before, during, and after school today." she said looking to her friends to pick up on the obvious hint.
"Yes we have a very important after school project to assigned specifically to us to do alone." Annie said grabbing Star's arm as the both of them turned around to leave.
" Yeah see you around Nobleclud ." Prism said walking behind the two mares, leaving Starburst grateful to him so they could leave with Nobleblood having the only rear to ogle was Prism's stallion butt as they left with Nobleblood scowling at the mispronouncing of his name.
"Those stories about him were big understatements" Prism said as they entered the first class of the day , Equestrian History with Professor Old scroll.
'And here I thought I was away from ponies like him here. " Starburst sighed to herself as class began. The Nobles of Canterlot and other high officials always tried to woo her because her Mother is Twilight Sparkle an alicorn princess.One of the main ones being prince Bluebloods son. One of the best things about Ponyville is that she was away from the ponies of Canterlot. She was still glad it was just the one and she had her friends to shield her and get away from him. Starburst was still thinking of a new plan to keep Nobleblood far away from her and survive the eventually teasing from her friends about this as she got out her notebook and put it next to her pencil. Her shaking pencil. On her shaking desk.
It took her a second to realize the whole classroom was shaking and everypony else was realizing it as well.
"Earthquake!" came a yell from a frightened student.
"Impossible !, there hasn't been one in Equestria in centuries!" came Annie's voice from the one end of the classroom.
" Everpony under your Desk ! " yelled the Teacher as dust came down from the ceiling . All the students were too startled to protest. They all stayed beneath their desk as the school was shaking. They stayed like that for what felt like forever until eventually everything stopped shaking. The fire alarm then rang and as the students made their way out into the hall they all wondered what just happened.
