One thousand years after the princesses disappeared, a new alicorn is born. Her parents, afraid of what could happen, took her away from Equestria and into the wild world. Things seem to go well as she grows up, away from society. When she learns how to fly on her own she witnesses something spectacular, the moon has covered the sun in an eclipse, and gets her cutie mark. Later that night she has a dream from Luna that tells her she needs to leave her parents and go out into the world by herself.

Drake is a good person at heart always looking out for his family. His father is in the hospital with a mysterious illness, and life is getting pretty hard. He spends his time writing stories, watching My Little Pony with his sister, and drawing. He made himself his own OC, and wrote out a story for her. But it ends when she leaves after she gets her cutie mark. After telling this story to his little sister, a series of events happen on his birthday that takes him to this mysterious land were he meets his character. With no memory of who or what he is he decides to help out Burning with her quest.

Unknown to both that they are connected in many ways, and that there path will lead to places neither have ever been. They will meet friends and foes alike. They will find their destiny, either to stop what ever evil lurks within the shadows, or essentially become the very thing they try to fight.
