He stared at the other the team's pitcher, Diamond Tiara, who smirked at him. That wasn't a good sign, it usually meant that she was going to hit him with a pitch the next chance she got. Speed sighed and waited as Silver Spoon, their catcher, talked with her. He figured it was about where they would hit him, but he didn't care. The pitch would hit him, he'd take his base, Scootaloo will get a hit and we'll win. Speed's 1-year older brother, Golden Bullet, was on third after hitting a triple. He was our teams best fielder, hitter, and pitcher while I was our fastest runner. He supposed that meant he was our best player, and his girlfriend, Apple Bloom, was a good pitcher. She learned during her practices with Golden. He had actually saw them together on the mound and thought about how he could do the same with his girlfriend, Sweetie Belle. He was interrupted from thought when the unpony called "Play Ball!" He stepped back in and got ready with his brother's chants from third base, he lost thought when he heard Sweetie call. "Go get him Speedy!" She yelled from the dugout. He was snapped out of thought when he heard a groan from his brother and the umpony call strike one. He heard Silver Spoon snickering and he decided to shut her up. The next pitch came and he swung. Expecting the crack of the bat to sound, he instead heard the ball being caught. The umpire called the second strike and now he was nervous. Two strikes with two outs, if he gets out, we don't make the playoffs. He sighed and stepped in again, waiting for the next pitch. Tiara delivered, a curve ball. He saw in the corner of his eye his brother signalling a bunt. He lied it down and heard the ball make contact. In no time he had reached 1st base. He turned around to see something that made him gulp. Golden was watching Silver Spoon on his way back to third. He knew we were down by two, what was he doing?! He motioned with his head for Speed to go to second. Surely, Silver threw to second, but no chance of Speed getting out. Golden had taken off for home. The second basemen threw home and he was told to go to third base, so he did. Silver threw over, and he was there in time. This was Gold's plan, for him to be a distraction, than Speed could get a triple. It's things like that which made him the best on the team. When he got back, he received high hooves and a hug from Apple Bloom. Speed smiled as Golden winked at him, signalling it was his plan. Next batter was Scootaloo, who hit a home run, like usual. They had won the game, 9-8. Speed had gone 1-3 with two line-outs, the hit was a bunt triple. Golden had gone 3-3 with two doubles and a triple. Sweetie had gone 0-2 with two strike outs. Scootaloo had gone 2-3 with two home runs and a strike out. Apple Bloom had gone 1-2 with one single and a ground out. The five of us had walked back to the clubhouse together. "That was an amazing hit Scoot!" Said an enthusiastic Sweetie Belle. "I wish I would have gotten one." "Hey, don't lose hope. You'll get there one day." Said Speed to his girlfriend, who had leaned against him. "Thanks sweetie." She said with a wink. Speed blushed and the rest laughed. "Nice pitching Apple Bloom. Even though you gave up quite a bit of runs, it was your first game pitched." Said Golden. "Oh please, we all know you were staring at her flank the whole time." Mentioned Speed. "Eh hehe..." He said other a blush and Apple Bloom grinded up against him. "Ah don't mind." She said with a wink at her boyfriend. Golden Bullet had a dark yellow coat with a lighter mane. His cutie mark was a golden shotgun. His coat was a deep red now as it soon went back to its regular color, much to Apple Bloom's surprise. "I think we need to practice more don't you?" Asked Golden Bullet. Apple Bloom giggled and nodded. They laughed all the way back to the clubhouse. Once they reached it, they set up camp inside. They all stopped when they heard thunder in the distance. At least Rainbow Dash was doing her job. Speed and Sweetie lied down next to each other, while Apple Bloom lied on Golden's back. Speedster had a dark grey coat and a black mane with yellow strips, his cutie mark was a picture of home plate. They had Twilight put an electric barrier around the clubhouse for situations like this. Applejack and Rarity had agreed to let them stay in the clubhouse as long as Speedster and Golden were there with them, but they didn't want anything happening between Apple Bloom and Golden Bullet. That didn't stop them from the constant make out sessions and flirting to see who would cave in first. So far, we all thought Apple Bloom was winning. "So, what are we gonna do tomorrow?" Asked Scootaloo, trying to fit into he group. "We go down and practice what we aren't good at yet. I'm gonna practice with Apple Bloom." Said Golden. "Yeah practice." Said Apple Bloom as she kissed her lovers neck and cheek. "This is why I love my life." Said Golden Bullet with a bliss expression. They all giggled. "Ok everypony, let's go practice tomorrow morning!" "3... 2... 1... PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!" They shouted and laughed in unison. Author's Note Speedster and Golden Bullet are not real characters. They are me and my brother. I decided to make my favourite show and my favourite sport mix. So, see you guys next time!!! RivalsAfter all five of the friends ate their breakfast, it was off to the field. They had their equipment with them and Golden Bullet had brought bottled water, just in case. As they reach the field, they could see three foals, 1 filly and 2 colts, throwing a ball back and forward. They all had blue stripped uniforms on. "Anypony have any idea who they are?" Asked Speedster. "Ah reckon that's Manehattan. Mah cousin plays wit 'em!" Pointed out Apple Bloom with a gleam in her eye. "Lets go meet them." Answered Golden Bullet. The five trot over to the field as they got closer they saw hoe the foals looked. The filly had a red mane with little pink strips going across and her coat was brownish. The colts had almost identical. One had a dark blue coat with brown hair, and the other just had lighter color. "Howdy Babs!" Shouted Apple Bloom as they got closer to the field. Babs threw the ball and looked over. "Apple Bloom!" She said with a gleam in her eye. "Long time no see cuz!" She ran over to her cousin and they hugged. "So, your Apple Bloom's cousin, I pictured you taller." Golden Bullet said with a shrug. Apple Bloom gave him a playful punch on the shoulder. "So, your Golden Bullet, I pictured you broader." She said with a shrug, imitating Golden. Apple Bloom playfully punched her too. "Your the boyfriend Apple Bloom wrote me about. Your the one she wants to-" She gets cut off by a blushing Apple Bloom covering her mouth. "Eh... I uh... never said anything like that." She said sweating bullets. Golden Bullet just smirked. The two colts trot over to the group with their baseball gloves on. "Ey, who the two dunderheads?" Said the one with the dark blue coat. "Excuse me?" Asked Apple Bloom. "Are y'all talkin' 'bout mah boyfriend?" She asked with a ponder. "Yeah, he was talking about the two right there." He pointed to the brothers. "Your girlfriend is our girlfriend's cousin?" He said, he seemed nicer than the other. "Well, yeah. Look we came here to practice." Said Golden Bullet. "Ah know, hows about a scrimmage? 4v4?" Asked the dark blue colt. "Mah names Dark Bolt, this is mah brotha, Light Bolt." Light waved as greeting. "Well, wait 4v4? You only have three players?" "We'll have one of yours, if you don't mind." Said Light. "Well, who?" Speed asked. "Cuz! Will you play wit us?" Asked an enthusiastic Babs. Apple Bloom looked at Golden Bullet, he nodded. "I'll play if you will." He said winking at her. Apple Bloom nodded and approached the blue team. We broke and went to our respectful dugouts. They were pretty fancy dugouts. There was a board which showed the team's score above the entrance. It had a wooden bench inside a brick structure which was painted well. The teams logo was on the walls, the six elements, five necklaces and 1 crown, surrounding the word 'Ponyville'. They pitched Apple Bloom with Light Bolt in the outfield, Dark Bolt infield, and Babs catching. Sweetie Belle had gone first, since she was one to get walked an awful lot. Second, Ponyville had Speedster since he was fast. Third, Ponyville had Golden Bullet since he was the team's best hitter. Fourth, Ponyville had Scootaloo since she was the power hitter. Sweetie Belle stepped in against her friend. She swung and missed twice, fouled off two, and then struck out on an awkward pitch that not even Golden Bullet knew what was. Speedster went up to bat, and the same thing happened to him. Swung and miss twice, foul off two, and go down looking on that weird pitch. Golden Bullet up to bat and Apple Bloom of course took advantage of this and pretended to stretch out, 'accidentally' revealing her goods. Of course Golden Bullet couldn't focus now. He was down on three pitches. Before she walked into the dugout, she winked at him with a giggle. He blushed a ton and looked down. "Hey, at least you have a girlfriend who isn't afraid to reveal." Said Speedster and laughed as Sweetie Belle started after him. Golden Bullet chuckled at this and trotted to the mound. Light Bolt was batting first. Ponyville had Speedster in outfield, Sweetie Belle in the infield, Scootaloo behind the plate, and Golden Bullet pitching. He struck out Light Bolt and Babs, but he gulped when Apple Bloom went to bat. In the batters box, she winked at me and raised her flank in the air. This distracted Golden and first pitch was slow and it hit her flank, it to jiggle. She winked at Babs who nodded. Next thing that happened caused Golden Bullet to drop unconscious, she had moaned as her flank bounced around. She hopped down to first base as Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo trotted to the unconscious Golden Bullet. "Hello? Anyone on there?" Called Scootaloo in an attempt to keep from giggling. "Wha... what happened?" Asked a newly awake Golden Bullet. "Y'all started starin' at mah flank." She said with a wink. Golden Bullet blushed and sighed blissfully, causing them all to giggle. *** The game had gone 5 innings the score was 27-1, Manehattan had won. Golden Bullet had blamed it all on Apple Bloom for distracting him. Apple Bloom walked up to him and winked, "Ah win." She said in a happy voice, but it turned seductive, "Ah knew ah would always 'come' on top." She whispered in his ear. "And y'all promised to 'practice' when we get back." She said kissing his neck secretly. The weekend was going to be awesome. Author's Note Second chapter coming your way. See you guys next time!!! And yes it's third person. New TeammateOn their way back, Golden Bullet looked as if he were about to faint. "Are you sure you don't want somepony do carry you?" Speedster asked with a slight laugh. Golden Bullet shook his head fiercely. "No, I was just lost in thought. And no Apple Bloom, it's not about your... doings." He said with a slight blush. Apple Bloom just giggled and looked in front of her. "Then what botherin' ya?" She asked not moving her head. Golden Bullet sighed and looked up at Scootaloo. "I'm afraid that I'm going to do something like that in the game on Saturday. We are going to be playing in a stadium, I might choke." He said with concern and looked over at Apple Bloom who cleared her throat. She lifted her flank and looked at him. "I was just havin' some fun wit ya." She said lowering her hindquarters. "Besides, y'all don't have to worry about Diamond Tiara. She ain't goin' to the playoffs." "Because of my little bro's hit... er bunt." He said rubbing Speeds head. "Hey, it was your plan." He said in a comeback. "And it was my two run homerun." Scootaloo said with a smirk. "Which you wouldn't have gotten if Speedster weren't on base." Sweetie Belle said in defence. "But he was on base." "But-" "Please, no fightin'." Apple Bloom said with a sigh. "Besides, it's only noon, we have the day to do 'anythang' we want." She said leaning against Golden Bullet. She grabbed his hoof and whispered in his ear. "Y'all are comin' with me." She said and Golden Bullet blushed up a storm. "G-g-guys, I-I'll be right back." He said as Apple Bloom ran off with him. The remaining three laughed at the couple and yelled out bye. Then, they turned and started for Sugar Cube Corner. "Hey, why don't you do that with me?" Speedster asked with a ponder. Sweetie rolled her eyes and motioned towards Scootaloo. "Oh." The trio trotted into the shop and leaned on the counter. They waited until a yellow stallion with a uniform reading "Ponyville" walked up to them from behind the counter. "Hey coach!" Said Scootaloo, trying to make a good impression. "How's it going?" "Quite fine thanks." He said. "You three ready for Saturday?" They shouted "Yeah!" In unison. The stallion chuckled and the three ordered. "Wait, where's Apple Bloom and Golden Bullet? Like I even need to ask, those two are like magnets and metal clinging to each other." He said with a chuckle. The three laughed and trotted to there seats after paying. They all sat down at a table close to the exit. "What do you think Apple Bloom is doing to Golden Bullet right now?" Sweetie said trying to hold back laughter. Speedster thought it over and cringed. "I'm trying to eat here." He said jokingly. The three laughed for about five minutes before calming down. They looked around and started eating their ice cream. "So, we are going to be playing in a stadium. Anypony know where at?" Asked Scootaloo. "I'm pretty sure we are playing in Manehattan." Speedster replied. He looked at his glove and back up to the two. "So, if we have another blowout like that, we'll be playing the losing team and go home third place." Said Sweetie Belle with a little nervous jitter. "I don't want to be third place again." "But we won't, Diamond's team were the ones that keep beat us to a bloody pulp. And as long as Golden Bullet pitches and Scootaloo keeps doing what she's doing, we'll be fine." Speed said with a reassuring look. Scootaloo nodded her head. "Yeah, and besides, what are the chances of Manehattan, a city team, beating a town team like us." As soon as they said that they turned to hear the entrance bell ring. They saw a young colt standing in the doorway. He had a red mane and a light black coat and wings. He walked right to the counter. His cutie mark was a trophy. "Excuse me, but I was told you are this town's baseball coach?" The colt asked and the stallion couldn't be heard. "I wanted to ask if I could join the team for the championships. I just moved in from Cloudsdale." He said. Speed looked at Scootaloo, she was clearly blushing at the colt. He smiled and nudged Scootaloo. She looked as if she were broken from thought and looked at Speed. "What?" "Do you have a crush on that colt?" I asked with a smirk. Scootaloo started sweating bullets and her wings seemed to have hardened. "N-n-no!" She said shaking her head. "I don't!" She said through denial. He rolled his eyes and spotted to colt trotting into the dining room. "Hey, you three are on the team?" He asked the trio. They all nodded. "Can you tell me this team's best player?" "Our best player is my boyfriend's brother. His name is Golden Bullet." He nodded his head and started to trot away, but Scootaloo stopped him. "Wait! Don't you wanna sit with us?" She blushed at the feel of him. "Sure..." He said with a unsure looked and pulled up a seat. "So, is this team in need of any 5-tool players?" He asked. "Well, kinda. Golden Bullet is good, but slow for a pegasus. He's about average in running, great pitcher, amazing fielder, dominant hitter, spectacular-" She was cut off when Scootaloo put a hoof to Sweetie's mouth. "What are you a dictionary?" She said and they all laughed at Scootaloo's catch phrase. "I was the best at all of that in Cloudsdale." He said rolling his eyes. "My name is Sulfer." He said shaking a blushing Scootaloo's hoof, and soon the others. "And you are?" "Oh, I'm Speedster. This is my friend Scootaloo. And this is my girlfriend Sweetie Belle. My brother, Golden Bullet and his girlfriend are... busy at the moment." Speed said with a weak smile. Sulfer looked at a watch on his hoof and his eyes went wide and was beading with sweat. "I gotta go, see ya!" He said before flying out the door at high speeds. "What was that?" Said Scootaloo resting her head on her hoof. "I don't know, but there was something suspicious about him." Speedster said with a gleam. "We will see Saturday, I guess." Author's Note Third chapter. This is my introduction of Sulfer, my other brother's character. Yes, baseball runs in my family. I'm looking for colts of fillies to put in my line up for the champion ships. If you would like to be in the line up, put your colt/filly's name, position, number, and how they bat, left or right. See you guys next time!!! Pre-game Problems"What did you mean by "suspicious"?" Asked Sweetie Belle as they approached the clubhouse. Speedster looked up at his girlfriend and sighed. "I meant he was asking a lot about my brother, that got me worried." He replied. As they got closer they could see Apple Bloom and Golden Bullet sitting in front of the tree. They all held in laughter as they watched them make out, instead they planned the trick them. Scootaloo went underneath the stairs and Sweetie Belle on top. Speedster through a rock next to them and they heard the noise, separated and looked at the stairs to see two smiling fillies. Golden immediately blushed. "Hehe, w-what are you two doing here?" He said looking away from Apple Bloom, who was lying on top of him blissfully. "Oh nothing, just wanted to check on the bird and the bee." Scootaloo said with a wink. Now even Apple Bloom blushed. "Did anything actually happen?" The two looked at each other with a furious blush. "Well, ya can say that we might have to clean up in the clubhouse." "I was going to go up there, but now I kinda don't wanna." Sweetie Belle said with a disgusted look, causing Speedster to facehoof. "Fine, we'll clean it up." Apple Bloom said rolling her eyes, still blushing at what had happened in an hour. "Well, we met a new player from Cloudsdale. He said his name was Sulfer. He was asking a lot about you." Speedster said helping his brother up. "Really? What did he ask?" "He asked about you being the best on the team, how good you are, etc." He said rolling his hoof. "Huh, a new pony... might be trouble." Golden said with a ponder. "Told you." Speed announced. Sweetie Belle rolled her eyes and and Scootaloo just shrugged. Apple Bloom went inside to clean up the "mess". "Dude, did you really do so much that she has to clean it up?" "Yeah, we did." He said blushing and rubbing the back of his neck. After a few minutes, Apple Bloom trotted out. "Y'all can come in now." She said with a smile. They looked cautiously inside before trotting in. Golden Bullet stood next to Apple Bloom. "How did you clean it up?" He asked looking at her, he blushed and stumbled as Apple Bloom licked her lips and winked, she hopped to the others. "Alright, so our first game is tomorrow. So we need everypony on full alert. No choking, no losing focus," Speed stared at Apple Bloom. "And no distractions." She shook her head and blushed. "Ok, on three we yell Elements." He said putting his hoof out. The others did too. "3... 2... 1... Elements!" They shouted in unison. *** Golden Bullet awoke to Sweetie Belle hopping on him, "Wake up, wake up, wake up!" His eyes took a minute to adjust, Saturday morning, and the second week of summer vacation. He rubbed his eyes and stood up, they were all ready to go. "I overslept, oh crap!" He said running into the closet. There was a lot of bumping and... the sound of a drill? They all looked at each other as Golden Bullet burst out of the door with his hat backwards. He noticed this and turned it around. "I'm ready!" "Ok... anyway, today is the day!" Speedster said with a confident look. "We will face Trottingham in the first round! If we win, then we face the winner of Manehattan vs. Las Pegasus!" "Woohoo!" Shouted Scootaloo her wings buzzing, giving off the sound of a bugs wings flapping. "Lets buck their behinds!" Apple Bloom said with a confident look of her own. "Lets hammer their heads in!" Scootaloo said with a confident look as well. "Lets... let's um..." Sweetie Belle said with a hoof on her chin. "I got nothing..." She as the others giggled. They all trotted out the door and down the ramp. "Wait, how do we get there?" Golden asked, causing the CMC to stop. "Good question, how do we-" Sweetie was interrupted when she felt herself tingle and saw nothing but darkness for a second. When she could see, the group was at the "Field of Manehattan". It was surrounded with spectators from Ponyville, Trottingham, Manehattan, Cloudsdale, Los Pegasus, and Canterlot. They all gulped at the sight of the amount of ponies who will be watching the game. "Ah, you three made it. I suppose this is Golden Bullet?" Asked Sulfer from the side of them. He had a bat on his shoulder and he turned his look over to Apple Bloom and smiled. "My my, what a pretty lady." He said kissing her hoof. Apple Bloom blushed and replied with a "thank you". "Hey, hooves off my girlfriend." Said Golden Bullet as he stepped in front of Apple Bloom. "He ain't botherin' nopony." She said looking at Golden Bullet. Golden Bullet looked towards Sulfer, only to receive the same look Apple Bloom was giving Golden. He grunted and trotted to the dugout. "Ah apologize." She said looking at Sulfer. "No no, it's okay. He's just doing his job." He said shaking his hoof. "Wow, ya sure are a nice pony." She said with a blush. Golden Bullet overheard their conversation. "Thanks, how about after the game, we all go to get pizza. My treat." He said. The CMC all cheered, all except Speedster. He looked over at Golden Bullet and gulped. His pupils glowed red and he started shaking, he knew what happened last time this happened, he drove a stallion to a coma. He ran over and tried to calm him down. After a few minutes he did. "Now I know why he wanted to know about me." "Why?" Asked Speed. "He wants to ruin me." Author's Note Last chance to enter in any names. See you guys next time!!! First Game: Part 1/4As the coach trotted over to the amazed teammates, he looked out on the 400ft field. The furthest hit Scootaloo ever got was 326ft at best. "Alright everypony, listen up for the line-up!" All the ponies stopped and stared at the coach and his board. As he read the line-up name by name, he displayed positions, which received some grunts and slight cheers. This is the line-up: Second Base: Sweetie Belle Center Field: Speedster Pitcher: Golden Bullet Right Field: Storm Fortis Catcher: Scootaloo Left Field: Sulfer Third Base: Rumble First Base: Apple Bloom Shortstop: Button Mash Golden Bullet trotted out to the mound as a cheer from a side of the stadium erupted. He watched as the players ran to their positions. Scootaloo got behind the plate and gulped as she looked in the eyes of Golden Bullet. Golden went into his windup, lifted his hoof, and delivered. Scootaloo caught the ball and threw it back. Golden Bullet looked back at the huge scoreboard, which displayed the line-up, positions, who was batting at the time, the count, how many outs, wind pressure, type of pitch, and pitch speed. The board read an 85 mile per hour fastball. Golden smirked as he could imagine the other team's faces, but when he turned to see them, he saw that they were all pumped up and ready to hit. After warm-ups, the first batter stepped up, he had a confident look in his eye. Golden smirked as he planned to change that. He got into a windup, lifted his hoof, and delivered. The batter stepped early and, much to everypony's surprise, hit a deep line drive. Speed raced back towards the wall, but Golden felt cold as he watched him slow down. The umpony called it, a homerun, the first pitch of the championships, was a homerun. This continued until they got three outs in a row at the 6th, 7th, and 8th batters. The score was 14-0. "Apple Bloom! You're going in for Golden Bullet! Golden, go to first next inning." Golden grunted and proceed to his seat, he heard somepony sit next to him. "Y'all ok?" He turned to see a smiling Apple Bloom next to him. "Oh sure I'm fine, I just cost us the whole damn game!" He said in sarcasm. He smiled gently as he felt her lips against his cheek. "Better?" "A little." He replied. He looked up to see Sweetie Belle get walked and trot down to first base. He stood up and proceeded to his bag, he pulled out his bat and helmet, and stood over in the on-deck circle. Speedster felt nerves as he stepped up to bat, the crowd wasn't helping. He looked at first base at Sweetie Belle, after she had earned her 100th walk this year. He signed and stepped up to bat. He watched as the pitcher shook his head twice, and then nod once. He was confused, but got back on track, obviously a change-up. He stepped in, but what happened next surprised him, a fastball inside was a called strike. He stood out of the box and thought a minute. "So, when he does those signs, it means a fastball." He noted that and stepped back in. The pitched shook his head twice and nodded once at the catcher again. He got ready, stepped, and fired. Speedster swung his bat as hard as he could and closed his eyes. He heard a popping sound and opened his eyes again, only to see him sitting on the ground. He heard a laugh from the catcher and words of encouragement from his dugout as he got back up. He looked at the board and saw it read, change-up 53 miles per hour. He gulped and stepped back into the plate. The next pitch came and, again, he swung and missed for strike three. Sweetie Belle had stolen second and was in scoring position. He passed Golden Bullet on his way back to the bench, who patted his back, and he sat down on the wooden bench. The next three batters hits were singles, even Scootaloo's. The bases were loaded and the run had scored, Storm Fortis had received the RBI. Golden Bullet watched from third as Sulfer stepped in. He had a wooden bat and was very confident. He would laugh if Silver struck out in three pitches, that would show him not to steal his girlfriend. The pitcher delivered and it was a really high, as in over the catcher high, fastball. Somehow, as the ball reached the plate, Sulfer jumped up, and smashed the ball. It flew deep into Center Field, and eventually, over the wall. Sulfer, instead of striking out, had hit a grand slam. The score was now 14-5. Sulfer was greeted by thousands of deafening cheers as he crossed home plate. Golden Bullet could even make out a fan shouting, "That's number 32 of the season!" 32 grand slams, or 32 home runs. Either one would be tremendous for a kid, but he didn't care. He was surrounded by all except Golden as he reached the dugout. The first inning was over after Apple Bloom grounded into a double play to end the inning. The Elements ran out and took their positions. Golden watched in horror as Apple Bloom swished her tail in front of Sulfer, causing him to smirk. Golden was furious now, he knew his girlfriend didn't like him anymore, and wanted Sulfer. His pupils flared red and his eyes twitched, he was in a state of mind that couldn't be interrupted. Author's Note I don't have a lot of time, just wanted to make a new chapter of something. See you guys next time!!! First Game: Part 2/4The batter stepped into the plate after the 5 warm-up pitches Apple Bloom threw. Golden Bullet's expression showed only a little anger, and nothing else, but in this state, he felt no pain. It first happened when he found a stallion hitting Apple Bloom in a fit of rage. As soon as he spotted this, his eyes showed a flame, and when the flame disappeared, his pupils would turn red. He knocked the stallion out in a mere amount of seconds. The pitch went to the batter and he swung and missed. The next two crossed the plate, and were fouled off, 0-2. The batter took charge again, but this time smacked it. It went above Golden's head and into right field. Storm picked it up, and threw to the cut-off colt. Apple Bloom caught notice of Golden's expression, she gulped and shivered. "Please, nawt here." She muttered. She shook it off and went back to the mound. The next batter came up and hit a ground ball on the first pitch into the outfield. The first base runner was on third as the throw went over towards him. Scootaloo had to be cautious with runners on first and third. She understood the trick that the runner on first could pull. He can steal second, and if she threw down, the third base runner would score. Apple Bloom got ready and delivered the pitch. Sure enough, the first base runner jogged over to second. Knowing the play, she still threw down, she facehoofed as she watched the third base runner cross the plate. Though they got one out on that first base runner, the score still increased, it would take a miracle to come back from this. She signed and looked down at first, she noted Golden's expression. His state would be their miracle. "Lets go Apple Bloom!" Chanted Applejack from the stands next to Golden Bullet. She and the rest of her friends were sitting in the same row, but instead of the game, Twilight was noting Sulfer. "Something doesn't seem right about that kid." She said with suspicion. "I don't play baseball, but I'm sure you can't hit a home run on a pitch so high." "Twi, we came here to watch our team, not a new pony showin' off." Said Applejack trying to remind her friend of the field they were playing on. The batter soon grounded to Sweetie Belle, who easily picked up the ball and tossed it to Golden. Still in his angered state, he caught the ball and turned to Apple Bloom, who was ready for him to throw it to her. Not thinking clearly, he threw the ball at Apple Bloom at a dangerously high speed. The ball caught fire before Apple Bloom could react, it rammed into her head. She spun around three times before having her eyes roll in the back of her head, and collapsing to the ground. There was a gasping noise throughout the crowd and even a lot of swearing from Applejack. The coach got up from the bench and ran out to his pitcher. "Apple Bloom! Apple Bloom can you hear me!?" He called out to his unconscious pitcher. He started breathing fast once she noticed she wasn't breathing in a normal pace. He called for a medic to get to his aid, soon, three medics ran out from the dugout. The coach looked up at Golden Bullet, who was still unfazed. "Golden! You're out of the game!" He shouted. A bright light surrounded Golden, and he was transported to the locker room. The coach brought in Rumble to pitch, he gave up 2 runs before getting out of the inning. The paramedics had rushed Apple Bloom to a hospital with Applejack along side her sister. The rest of the inning was uneventful as the Elements went down, one, two, three. Speedster trotted down into the locker room after Snips had gone in for him in Center Field. He took caution when approaching a shaking Golden Bullet. He got a questioned look when he heard faint sobs coming from the room. He put a hoof on Golden's shoulder and stood along side him. "Wha-what happened out there?" He asked. "I-I don't know! I-I couldn't control myself! It's like something else came over me!" Golden said in reply. Speedster stood there silent and turned to his locker. "You put your own girlfriend in the hospital. Dude, you need a psychologist." He said opening his locker and taking out some bat polish. "I... feel... awful..." Golden said in between sobs. He didn't have control over his "ability" and he knew somepony could help him somehow. "You have every right to be!" He shut his locker and polished his bat. "Look you need to go visit Apple Bloom in the hospital ASAP. You have to apologize. You need-" He was cut off. "I broke her neck and skull, I heard a loud crack." *** The team had come back in three innings and the game was now tied, 17-17. The team was all pumped up and following Sulfer's lead, he had hit home runs in all his at bats. Golden was disgusted in the fact that he was ejected by his own coach, that was until Sulfer came to talk to him after Rumble's three strikeouts. "Dude, I didn't want to approach you before, but I'm here know. What where you thinking?!" He shouted at Golden Bullet. "I wasn't." Was all he could mutter as his thoughts turned to Apple Bloom possibly being dead. It made the way they met seem a whole lot more embarrasing. Before this game, he always thanked the dating site they met on. "You could ave killed her! What's wrong with you?!" He shouted back again. Golden didn't want to start a fight. "Listen, just stay away from me." "No, I want answers. You attacked my girlfriend..." The rest of his words drowned out as Golden felt his "ability" about to play. "What are you talking about?" "Before the inning where you hit her with a 300 mph throw, she asked me to be her boyfriend." He said. Golden couldn't hold back his anger. Sweetie and Scootaloo tried to separate the two and calm Golden down, but Golden threw them aside. He trotted slowly toward Sulfer who didn't get scared by him one bit. Golden grabbed a bat from the rack and trotted toward Sulfer more, he was only a little bit scared. Everypony started screaming as Golden held the bat with all his might and loaded up. Sulfer braced for impact as Sweetie ran to grab the bat from his hooves. "Golden no, wait!" She shouted holding on to the bat, it was a bad idea. Golden swung as hard as he could, but Sulfer moved out of the way. It was too late for Sweetie, the bat broke in half and mixed with the sound of a bone cracking in Sweetie's neck. "GOLDEN, WHAT THE BUCK!" Shouted Speedster as he ran to comfort his girlfriend. The coach, a medic and Scootaloo joined them. Golden's eye colour turned back to normal, and it took him a second to realise what had happened. Blood started surrounding a violently shaking Sweetie Belle. "She's having a seizure, get her to the hospital!" Shouted the medic as she was loaded on a stretcher, her and two other medics ran off. Scootaloo looked back at Golden. "Go... away..." "What? But I-" "I SAID GO AWAY CELESTIA DAMNIT!" She shouted. Golden hesitated a second, but then turned angry again. "Fine, don't expect me to come back." And with that, he ran off. Author's Note This is the next chapter of the first game of the championships. I made this dramatic and I am planning on keeping it that way. See you guys next time!!! First Game: Part 3/4Golden Bullet ran as fast as he could to the hospital, which was about 10 blocks over. He dashed as fast as he could since he couldn't fly yet. He just had to meet Apple Bloom in the hospital, but not Sweetie Belle. She was having a seizure a slight touch on her by somepony inexperienced could cause way worse. He ran as fast as he could as he started losing his breath. He stopped for a minute as Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy passed him. He gulped as they all stared at him with angry eyes, except Fluttershy, and focused back to their walk. He sighed and slowly continued his adventure to the hospital. He was out of breath by the time he got there, it took him a good 30 minutes to get there and he had ran most of the way over. Between gasps for air, he talked to the pony running the desk. "Hello... I'm... here to... see... Apple Bloom." He was regaining his breath and stood up straight. The pony looked at him carefully, and then told him her room number. Golden thanked her and ran down the hall, up a staircase, down another hall to an intersection, made a right, and found her room two doors down. He stared at the door a gulped knowing his either girlfriend or ex-girlfriend was inside. Shaking, he extended a hoof and knocked on the door slowly. He waited for a nurse or something to answer the door, but who answered it completely put him under horror. "Howdy... Golden Bullet." Applejack stood in the doorway, holding the door open. He gulped. "H-h-hey... Applejack." He looked for an escape route in case things got ugly. "M-m-may I see Apple Bloom please." Applejack hesitated, staring down angrily at Golden Bullet. She closed the door, leaving a little crack open. "Sugarcube, somepony wants to see ya." Applejack said in a calm voice. Although he could not hear Apple Bloom from inside, he knew she was alive, and that's more than enough of what he needed to know. Applejack came back out, still angry she, opened the door. "She wants ya in here fer only five minutes." Golden nodded at a neckbreaking speed and shot himself inside. Applejack left the room. "Apple Bloom... it's your ex-boyfriend." He said looking up at Apple Bloom. He couldn't help but cringe at the number of medical equipment surrounding her. She had a neck brace, a monitor screen displaying her heartbeat, and had a bandage wrapped around her head. Apple Bloom, to his expectations, was mad as ever. "That's right... mah ex-boyfriend." She said without a lick of regret. "Apple Bloom, I just wanted to say I'm sorry and-" He was cut off. "Why'd ya do this to me?" She asked motioning at her condition. Golden Bullet closed his eyes and felt his wings stand straight up. He looked into the eyes of Apple Bloom. "I'm sorry, I was just mad that... well... you liked Sulfer better than me and... I wasn't thinking straight. I went into my 'zone' again." "That's not an excuse to- wait... did you say 'ah liked sulfer better than you'?" Apple Bloom said, going from anger to confusion. "Yeah... I saw you flick your tail at him, and somepony said that you asked to be his girlfriend." He explained. Then, to his surprise, she smiled heartwarmingly. "Golden, I don't like him that way." Golden felt his wings drop down and his hair stand up, "Oops." He watched as Apple Bloom took off her neckbrace and threw it to the her end of the bed. "Um... don't you need that?" He said trotting over to put back on her. When he picked it up, he trotted to her side and went to put it back on, but as soon as he leaned in, he felt Apple Bloom's lips touch his. He was taken back by the sudden affection, but soon started to kiss her back. They soon separated, and Apple Bloom stared into his eyes. "Ah'll always love ya more." She said, and Golden just stood there and listened to the heart beat on the monitor beat fast. "Apple Bloom I... I..." Golden was speechless. Apple Bloom put a hoof on his mouth. "Less talking, more kissing." She said with a a wink. They met in another kiss and the held like that for a couple minutes. Golden was happy that she had forgiven him, not to mention that she was happy according to the monitor. They only separated when they heard a sudden tapping on the floor. "Ahem." They turned to see Applejack, still angry. "Five minutes is up." She said before trotting over to Golden Bullet, but Apple Bloom stopped her. "Wait, can he... stay with me for the rest of the day. Please." She said with a puppy dog look. Applejack just couldn't say no. "Ok... fine. Ah'll be back tomorrow lil' sis." She said in response. "Ok, bye Applejack." Her older sister waved as she slowly closed the door and the sound of hooves trotting down the hall could be heard. "Ok, I guess I'm with you-" "Lock the door." Apple Bloom said with a devilish smirk. Golden Bullet couldn't help but smile and do as she said. He trotted over, locked the door. He trotted back over, and felt himself being pulled onto Apple Bloom. "Now, let's begin." Apple Bloom said before leaning Golden in for the best kiss he had ever had with her. Author's Note Haven't made a chapter for this in a while. See you guys next time!!! First Game 4/4Golden Bullet woke up to the sound of a loud crack and an announcer like voice coming through the static of a radio. Next to him, sat a clearly sweaty Apple Bloom. It took him a while to remember what had happened before he passed out from too much bliss. He blushed a chuckled a little, which caused the filly next to him to turn. "Good mornin'!" She said in a cheerful voice that was all so beautiful. "Ya just... fainted right after ya-." "Yeah, I know." He said before Apple Bloom could finish. Then, a sudden realization hit him. "Wait, did you say morning?" He asked, worry in his eyes. "Aint't 8:54 A.M. mornin'?" She asked, worried if she made a mistake. "It is, oh no! The game... that I was thrown out of." He said remembering the events that took place in the locker room. Suddenly, the radio next to the bed boomed and an announcer spoke. "Again, in the first game of the 'Equestrian Little League Championships', two teams stood head to head. Trottingham and Ponyville were both fighting to win this one, but one inning from Ponyville really kicked them into gear." Another started up. "That's it, Ponyville had two players go to the hospital, and one ejected by his own coach!" Golden Bullet lowered his head in shame, Apple Bloom comforted him with a hug. "But they still came back to take the lead, and even keep it as the last inning was over." "Did he just say... what I think he said?" Golden Bullet looked up at the radio. "We... won?!" "Tremendous pitching from the old ace player Sulfer to keep Trottingham from scoring any runs. Heck, in the time he pitched, he had a perfect game! During the 6th inning, that same ace player smashed a solo shot, giving his team the one-run lead. Silver went 5-5 in that game, and hit every possible homerun! From solo, to a base clearer!" The enthusiastic announcer exclaimed. "Sulfer..." Golden gripped the sides of the bed in anger. Seeing this, Apple Bloom pecked his cheek. His girlfriends nice, pretty lips were enough to calm him from his rage. "Sad game however... for Golden Bullet." Golden stared off, tuning out everything but the radio. "Yep, he sure had his worst. He sent two of his own players to the hospital, and got ejected for it. The future Major Leaguer, just dropped his chances at becoming one. Not only from attitude, but from performance. He had only two at bats and went 1-2 with a single. In his first and only inning pitched he allowed 14 runs, all homeruns! Even Trottingham put in a player with an average of .012, even he got a homerun!" "Golden... Ah... Ah don't know what to say." Apple Bloom said before bucking the radio into the wall, causing it to glitch and break. "Don't... it's my fault your in the hospital. I... I'm just confused." Golden said through sadness. Apple Bloom then felt concern. Her brave boyfriend was now upset, and who could blame him?! "Golden, those scouts ain't got the slightest clue who ya are if they think one bad game means yer a bad player. Ah know ya only did the things ya did because ya cared about me. Ah can't believe Ah almost lost ya forever." Apple Bloom said with small hints of tears in her eyes. "But Ah'm good and strong, Ah know y'all are too. We can win this fer our team, we can give Ponyville a title." Golden Bullet lifted his spirit. She was right, the team has a chance at the championship. They could win once and for all this time. "But, we're facing Babs in the next game in a week. Her team won by 5, the score bein' 5-0." "We'll win, no sweat. Say, did they ever say who we're facing in the championships if we get there?" Golden asked with a hint of worry, but mostly wonder. Apple Bloom thought, then shook her head. "We'll buck that tree when we get ta it. Right now, it's go time fer Ponyville!" But then Apple Bloom cringed and layered an "Ow." "When Ah get better, at least." She said. The two erupted into laughter and held each other in there hooves. Back at Speedster "Do you think you'll be better by next week?" Scootaloo asked her incapacitated friend, who stared at her through pained eyes. "What do you think?" Scootaloo shrugged and blushed embarrassingly. "Are you ok, Sweetie Belle?" Speedster asked. "I'm fine Speedy, it's so cute how much you worry about me." With that, she leaned in and pecked Speedster on the cheek. Speed blushed and locked eyes with his special somepony, mostly because it was the only part of her face he could see. Scootaloo made gagging noises. "Alright, enough with the mushy stuff." She said in a grossed tone. The couple chuckled and giggled at this. "So who won?" Sweetie asked, she was in a hospital bed, and thankfully not shaking and gurgling. The doctors have given her enough treatment for her to talk, but not to move. If she were to move, it would hurt, but she didn't care when she kissed Speedster. "Thanks to the new pony," Scootaloo went into a blissful state and sighed. "Sulfer... yes." The couple looked at each other, trying to hold in their laughter. Instead, it came out like this. "Scootaloo and Sulfer, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G." Scootaloo blushed and looked away. "...First comes love, then comes marriage. Then comes a foal in the foal carriage." "Maybe before marriage..." Left The TeamThe days went on as they normally do. Apple Bloom recovered, Sweetie Belle not so much, Scootaloo has been flirting with Sulfer, but something wasn't the same. Golden looked serious whenever he was spotted around the big city. He's usually the kind of colt to take baseball seriously, and slide some humour in at the same time. He was disappearing a lot more during hangouts or practices with the team, and even one time he was spotted wearing a Jersey reading "Phillies" on it. "Who are the 'Philadelphia Phillies'? Don't you mean Fillydelphia Fillies?" His brother had asked. Golden just gave a short mutter and ran away, faster than usual. It confused his team and worried his girlfriend. What was wrong with Bullet? The sun peaked in on Speedster's window, revealing his clock, dresser, desk, baseball equipment, a few "speed" trophies, and his bed. Speed cracked his eyes open enough to see the clock, it read 8:00 p.m. "Oh crap!" He shouted as he sprung out of bed. He struggled to get into his uniform and shine his cleats before the game started without him. He finished getting dressed and rushed out the door. "My equipment!" He said before rushing back through the door and getting his equipment and leaving the room once again. Today was the semi-finals against Manehattan. "Bullet!" He shouted down the hallway only to get no answer. He ran down the hall and stopped on a door which had a poster of the Fillydelphia Fillies and their star pitcher, Cliffhanger. He opened the door slowly at first, but then he put full force on it, causing it to slam into the wall. He was surprised to see nopony there, his bed was made. Did he never come home last night? Just then he heard a knock on the door. "Speedster, honey, your friends are here for you." "Coming mom!" He shouted down, he quickly ate a piece of toast his mom had made for him, but not the rest of his breakfast, brushed his teeth, put on deodorant, and ran back down, not even drawing a breath. Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sulfer were standing there with all their equipment. All except Sulfer were surprised that Speedster wasn't even out of breath after running around the house. "How ain't ya tired?" Apple Bloom asked. "Well, I run everyday. I'm prone to not being tired. Now let's wait for that teleporting thingy." Speed said, but broke when he heard Apple Bloom ask. "Wait a darn minute, where's Golden Bullet?" "I- I don't know. He never came home." That was the last thing heard before the group was surrounded in white light. Speedster was surrounded by blackness for a second, and then suddenly regained his senses as he appeared in the dugout of the huge Manehattan field. "Wait, he never came back?" Apple Bloom asked as Scootaloo followed Sulfer inside like a puppy would follow its owner. "No, he wasn't in bed. In fact, it was well made." Speed said as Manehattan appeared in their dugout. Several scouts were behind home plate (in the crowd) with clipboards, ready to make decisions on who to pick for a more advanced league. "Alright, everypony listen for the line-up!" The members of the team stopped what they were doing and listened. Here was the line-up: Speedster CF Snips 2B Sulfer P Scootaloo C Storm Fortis RF Rumble 3B Apple Bloom 1B Button Mash SS Snails LF Bench: Dinky Doo RF/3B Featherweight SS ~~Golden Bullet P/1B/3B~~ "Wait, why is Golden Bullet crossed off?" Scootaloo asked. "He said he was signed to another team." The coach said. Scootaloo raised a brow and looked at Speedster. She trotted over to him. "Do you know where he went?" She asked. "No, but he said he'd be at the game." Speed replied. "Psst, Speedy." A pony whispered. There was only one pony who called him that. He turned around to see that Sweetie Belle was in a wheelchair. Her sister, Rarity, was pushing it with her magic. "Sweetie Belle? What are you doing here?" He asked with shock and confusion. "I got an early recovery, so here I am. I'm still not eligible to play for another week." She said disappointed. "I don't care, I'm glad you're here." Speed said embracing Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle heard Rarity give out an "Aww". Quite frankly, she didn't care. "Well, y'all are makin' it a lot harder not to think 'bout Golden Bullet." Apple Bloom said, annoyed. Scootaloo put a hoof around her. "Hey, don't sweat it. Golden loves baseball, he loves this team, not to mention he loves us. He'd never miss out on a game. But why would he leave the team?" She said. "Oh, Golden stopped by last night at the hospital." Sweetie started. Apple Bloom gasped. "What'd he say?" She said, anxious. "He said, and I quote: 'Tell the team that I won't be playing for them anymore, I am on another team now." Sweetie Belle said. "What team?" Scootaloo asked. "He said... the 'Philadelphia Phillies'." Discovery of the Phillies (Short)The group stood there with blank expressions. The Philadelphia Phillies? Why an 'a' and not an 'e'? "So, your saying that he is playing for the team Manehattan eliminated from the series?" Speedster asked. "No, he said they were a major league team with good players, and have very popular ones too." Sweetie Belle explained. "Names?" Scootaloo said, eager to get the chance to meet major league players. "He- he didn't say." Sweetie said in a sad but curious tone. "I suppose I can shed some light on the situation." A familiar voice interrupted the commotion about the group. Apple Bloom looked into the stands at the direction of the voice. There he was, Golden Bullet. She smiled with delight. "Yer here!" She said before jumping up in the stands and embracing Golden in a hug. She felt some pain, but nothing she couldn't handle. "I don't know why this is happening." Golden spoke in a straight tone. He stood focused on the filly embracing him. "I thought ya weren't comin'!" Apple Bloom said, enjoying the company of her boyfriend. "I'm just here to scout the competition, see weaknesses of the team, their strengths, and maybe even the way they move in the field." Apple Bloom let go, confused. "Manehattan?" "No, the 'Ponyville Elements'." The group stood shocked. "I'm truly honoured that you think of me, but that won't matter one bit. When you four make it to the championships, you are all going home crying." He said in a more challenging tone. Apple Bloom gasped, she had never met this Golden Bullet. What happened to her Golden Bullet? "What?" Sweetie Belle said in shock. "Oh, our star players are Chase Utley, Jimmy Rollins, Cole Hamels, and Cliff Lee. See you all at the championships." Golden stated, he turned to walk away, only to be caught by Apple Bloom. "Wait!" "Don't waste your breath. It's minor leaguers like you that brought me down. I'm pretty sure I can make it clear that I would rather crush you than beat you." Golden said without turning back. Apple Bloom started to tear up. Her legs started to buckle. Her ears dropped. She hadn't been this upset since she found out Twist got her cutie mark. Golden walked away, leaving Apple Bloom in the stands. "Hey!" Scootaloo called out. Golden stopped. "What?" "You can't talk to your girlfriend like that!" She said angry. Golden looked back. "What girlfriend?" He said before walking off again, for good this time. Apple Bloom felt ice cold. She felt her heart puncture. She started sobbing quietly to herself. Scootaloo hopped the rail and ran up to meet Apple Bloom. She embraced her with a hug as Apple Bloom cried into her shoulder. "Its okay, I know what it's like to be dumped." She stared at Rumble, who went to hide. "Why?" Apple Bloom said sobbing still. "I don't know what's wrong with him, but we will make him pay. Come next week, we will defeat the 'Phillies'!" The four grouped up, and chanted a loud "YEAH!". They all settled down enough for a call to be heard. "Play ball!" Author's Note Attention! As you realised, I am using the MLB's worst team, but I will make them better then expected. And for anyone to spot what game this is related to, will get an extra like on all of their stories and a follow by me. Hint: This game was made in 2008 for the Wii and PS. See you guys next time!!! Semi-Finals: Part 1/2 (Short)The team all said their pledge to Equestria, sang by Fluttershy, and got ready to play ball. Apple Bloom sat lonely on one side of the bench next to Speedster and Fortis. "Ah don't know what Ah did..." Apple Bloom said after crying herself out, she had never been dumped before, probably because Golden was her only boyfriend. She never thought how much it would hurt. "You didn't do anything," Fortis replied. "He just forgot about how important our friendship is. Trust me, once we show him off, he will regret dumping you." "Thanks Storm." Apple Bloom said. She looked at Speed. "Uhh, aint y'all supposed ta bat know?" "Uh, be right back." He ran off to get his batting helmet. Since they were road last game and Babs' team was home, the Elements were road once more. "Don't worry, focus on showing your cousin how good you are." Fortis said before patting Apple Bloom on the back. "Hey yeah, Ah can hit off Babs!" She exclaimed. She was telling the whole team about her pitches, top speed, and poor accuracy, but she stopped when Babs took the mound. Babs picked up the ball and looked to the catcher, Shadow Pulse, Speedster's lifetime friend, and smirked. Scootaloo looked up into the announcers booth and gave an audible,"Huh?" "What is it Scoot?" Sweetie Belle said, followed by the rest of the group. Including Sulfer. "There is a weird-looking creature in the booth." Scootaloo pointed toward the creature. It wore a red hat with an A on it, a halo surrounded it. He had a uniform that read "Angles" on the front. When he turned to talk to someone, his jersey read "TROUT" in red caps. He wore the number 27. "Is that thing a... baseball player?" Sulfer asked. "Strike one!" Called the umpony. Everypony turned to see Speedster sitting on the ground and the bat flying toward the crowd. He drew a spin-out. "Come on Speedy!" Sweetie Belle chanted. Though she knew he was never a good contact player, but when he did make contact, he was at second in the blink of an eye. Speed stepped in again and got ready for the next pitch. Scootaloo turned back to spy on the creature some more, but it wasn't there. She gave the same puzzled look Speed gave the umpony on the second pitch. "He's not looking for his pitch to frequently is he." Said a young voice but rough voice from behind. Scootaloo jumped and turned around. She coward in fear at the 6' 1" monster in front of her. "Whoa!" Apple Bloom said in shock. "Yer tall!" "I don't get that often, I'm Michael." He said holding out tentacle like things from his palm. Just then Speedster spun-out again for out number one. Scootaloo hesitated before taking his palm and shaking it. "You seem friendly." Sweetie Belle said. "Well, I'm not one to-" He was cut off by Scootaloo. "What are you doing here?!" She shouted. "Whoa calm down!" He said with his palms up. "I'm Michael Trout, you can call me Mike, I'm an outfielder for the 2014 world champions Angels." He said with pride in his voice, remembering Game 6 in which they defeated the Giants (my prediction). "The what?" Sulfer said. "The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim? We just won the World Series!" He said with his arms out. "Doesn't ring any bells." Apple Bloom said. "Kids these days... don't know a champion when they see one." Mike said to himself. "Say, where is that player Albert liked so much? Is it Golden Bullet?" Those words struck Apple Bloom. "He quit, he went to play for the Phillies." Sweetie Belle explained. "That lousy team?" He gave a hearty laugh. "Their manager is nothing but a load of-" "Hold it!" Speed said as he joined the conversation. Sweetie departed to the plate. "Who are you?" Mike asked Speed. "I should be asking you that." He said pointing a hoof at him. "Uhh, I heard your teammate joined one of our league teams. Well, our baseball league teams. Is he that good?" Mike said, trying to change subject. "Yeah, he was MVP of the year last year. Why?" "Because, I'd like to join your team."
Practice Makes PerfectSpeedster walked into the batters box with a wooden bat on his shoulder.
Then comes a foal in the foal carriage." "Maybe before marriage..."
Left The TeamThe days went on as they normally do. "He said... the 'Philadelphia Phillies'."
Discovery of the Phillies (Short)The group stood there with blank expressions.
