Let's Harmonize! Part 1

Chapter 1

The moon of Equestria has been a very quite place ever since Nightmare Moon was defeated, with nothing going on and nothing around but miles upon miles of rock and dust.

But, as if the moon itself was suddenly getting relentlessly bored and started wishing for something to happen, something happened just as suddenly.

a strange portal opened on the moon, and certain malevolent individuals flew out of it and landed on the moon's surface.

And who else would be more fitting to suddenly appear on the moon than Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa?

One moment of those two landing face-down on moon dust later, they quickly got back up and started brushing the moon dust off themselves.

"Nice going chrome-head!" Rita bickered sarcastically, "try to kick my daddy out somewhere only for your spell to backfire on us!"

Lord Zedd scoffed, "Come on! you can't tell me you weren't getting sick of that smug jerk too, think of what I did as an attempt at pest control."

"Whatever," Rita said, "let's just get back quickly and hope my father has finished laughing at us by now."

"Right," Zedd agreed, and he was about to use his staff to open a portal back to the M51 Galaxy when he suddenly noticed a planet not far away from the moon they were standing on.

"Wait," Zedd said pointing at the planet he was looking at, "Rita, notice something odd about that planet over here?"

"Yeah," Rita said, squinting her eyes as she looked at the planet as well, and she looked disgusted, "look at all those pastel colors, it looks like it's part of some brat's picture book."

Lord Zedd used his 'visor zoom' to get a closer look at the planet's surface, then said in a seemingly surprised tone "And take a look at the creatures inhabiting this planet, and tell me you're seeing what I'm seeing."

Rita quickly waved her magic staff, causing her telescope to appear out of thin air (or thin vacuum?), she then started looking through it.

"What in the world...?" Rita muttered, obviously stunned by what she just saw.

"This entire planet is filled to the brim with sentient pastel colored ponies!" Lord Zedd exclaimed, " this world really does look like something from a children's book, I didn't even know my spell would bring us here. And you notice something else?"

"Yeah? what's that?" Rita asked.

"So far, I'm seeing No absurdly conspicuous command centers, no giant dormant Zords laying around, not even one measly teenage human teaching or studying martial arts, meaning..."

"No Power Rangers!" both Zedd and Rita said in unison, both very excited with what they discovered.

"I can hardly remember the last time I conquered a planet unopposed!" Lord Zedd said excitedly, "This will be a perfect chance to get back in business!"

"Ha! took the words right outta my mouth, Zeddy!" Rita exclaimed in agreement, "So what are we waiting for?"

Meanwhile, in the outskirts of Ponyville.

It's been only a short while since Twilight was coronated as a Princess, though fortunately for her, since she's still able to live in Ponyville with her friends, her status as princess actually changed surprisingly little about her daily life.

Which is one of many reasons she was content with having a peaceful picnic with her friends.

Indeed, Rainbow Dash was hovering just afew feet above her friends, thinking about a new flying technique she wants to create, Rarity was having a lovely chit-chat with Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie was scarfing down some of the picnic cake, and Applejack was calming sitting next to Twilight while drinking a mug of apple cider.

As for Spike, he was cuddled up next to Twilight, asleep, while using Twilight's right wing as a blanket.

Twilight wouldn't trade moments like these for nothing.

BUT THEN...

the ground suddenly started shaking, startling the Mane 6 while also waking up Spike. But before any of them could react, the shaking stopped, followed immediately afterward by an explosion of smoke coming from Ponyville.

"What the hay was that?" Applejack asked.

"I don't know, Applejack," Twilight answered, "But we better investigate, come on, everypony!"

The rest of the Mane 6 and Spike nodded in agreement and headed straight for Ponyville.

Just seconds later, in Ponyville proper.

Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa suddenly appeared in the middle of town, they immediately caught the attention of several nearby ponies, who were understandably shocked and wierded out by the sight of the villainous couple.

"Greetings!" Zedd said, "I am Lord Zedd, the true emperor of evil! and this is my wicked wife, Rita Repulsa. And we'll gonna be your new rulers for eternity!"

Zedd fired a magic bolt from his staff at a random spot, which frightened the ponies and caused them to scatter in panic, Zedd and Rita laughed in an evil yet whole-hearted way.

"Hey! what the hay to ya think you're doin'?" said Applejack from somewhere.

Zedd and Rita turned to see the Mane 6 facing them.

"My, my, seems the peasants have already started a revolt!" Rita said, " that's good, I was starting to worry this would get too easy!"

Twilight turned to Spike and whispered, "Spike, get the Elements of Harmony from the library, we'll keep them distracted."

Spike quietly saluted and run off, fortunately Zedd and Rita didn't seem to even notice him.

"You two bipeds got some nerve comin' to our town, terrorizing our neighbors, and suddenly declaring yourselves in charge!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"And doing so in such horrendous costumes!" Rarity criticized, her attention was mainly toward Rita, "Look at yourself, you misguided mare, I've known homeless with better sense of apparel than that, and that rats nest of a mane! I wouldn't wish such an absurd mane-style on my worst enemy!"

Zedd pointed at Rita and laughed, but Rita simply glared briefly at her husband with an annoyed expression.

"And you! wearing such realistic-looking exposed muscle with such unsettling pieces of metal all over," Rarity said as she turned to Zedd "you must have came straight out of a horror movie!"

"Ha! you obviously don't know me well enough to think that remark would insult me!" Zedd said as he flexed the muscles of his left arm while holding his staff with his right hand, "Besides, these muscles you're looking at are all real!"

The Mane 6 were shocked to hear this, with Rarity in particular looking as though she was almost going to throw up.

"Disturbed?" Lord Zedd asked, "Good! I've got a reputation to-" Rita elbowed him, "Ow! oh, I mean, we've got a reputation to maintain. Now if you're done trying to throw weak insults at us, we have a planet to conquer!"

"Ha! In your dreams!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, "you're aren't gonna conquer anything with us around."

"Ooooh! the little pegasus thinks she can stop us? how adorable!" Rita mocked.

"Let's see how adorable you find this!" Rainbow Dash declared as she charged straight at Zedd and Rita.

"Rainbow! wait!" Twilight called out.

But the brash pegasus didn't listen, but when she seemed close to head-butting Rita, Rita suddenly disappeared before Rainbow could hit her. Rita reappeared just a few feet away from Rainbow Dash and fired a magic beam from her staff, but instead of hitting Rainbow Dash, the beam seemed to be telekinetically holding her in place. Rita then swung her staff, causing her to telekinetically slam Rainbow Dash into a nearby building and land into the ground.

"Rainbow!" Twilight called out as she and the rest of her friends rushed to the cyan pegasus' aid.

They ran to see fortunately that Rainbow Dash was, though somewhat disoriented from the attack, was otherwise alright.

Twilight glared at Zedd and Rita, seriously ticked at what the nefarious couple were doing.

"You ponies seriously want to challenge our power?" Zedd asked in an amused tone, "fine then, what say we humor you?"

Lord Zedd pointed his staff at the Mane 6 as it started glowing, "And just to make this interesting, I'll make them in your shape!"

Lord Zedd then casted a spell from his staff that summoned a small group of Pony Putty Patrollers, those were white and grey pony-like creatures with red eyes, as well as the letter 'Z' on their flanks as if they had the aforementioned letter as their Cutie Marks.

"Get them, Putties!" Zedd commanded, "Show those fools what happens to those that dare to stand in our way!"

The Pony Putties jumped and performed forward flips before charging at the Mane 6, making strange garbled noises as they approached.

Rainbow Dash quickly recovered from her disorientation as she noticed the Pony Putties approaching, "What the heck are those things?"

"I don't know Rainbow Dash, but- yikes!" Twilight was cut off when she had to quickly dodge a Pony Putty that jumped and tried to land an airborne kick at her, "Clearly they mean business!"

"You got some nerve trying to hit Twilight, you punk!" Rainbow Dash called out the Putty Pony, she flew straight at it and tackled it, causing both of them to roll around the road, pummeling at each other relentlessly until the Pony Putty kicked Rainbow Dash off of it, causing RD to land on her haunches hard on the road.

"Ow..." RD groaned quietly, she looked at the Putty she was fighting at noticed that it didn't seem to be hurt from her attacks, "You gotta be kidding, anypony else got hit like that by me, they'd be lucky to have a single leg left unbroken!"

As another Pony Putty tried to attack Twilight, she tried firing magic bolts from her horn at it, which caused the Putty Pony to be knocked back several feet and to land on its back, but it quickly went back on its hooves and charged at Twilight again, almost as if it was never hurt.

Zedd and Rita laughed at the Mane 6's predicament, "Having trouble with our Putty Ponies?" Lord Zedd asked, "Ha! you think you can stop us when you can't even stop our mere foot soldiers? pathetic!"

Indeed, the Mane 6 found themselves struggling to fight off the seemingly formidable Putty Ponies, Twilight was trying fruitlessly to hit them with her magic, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity tried engaging them in hoof-to-hoof combat to no avail, and Fluttershy...

She crouched down, looking extremely frightened at the sight of the several Putty Ponies that were circling around her.

One of the Putty Ponies tried to kick her with its hind-legs, Fluttershy flinched and quickly jumped out of the way, causing the Putty Pony to accidentally hit one of its teammates.. right in the Z Cutie Mark.

This time, the Putty Pony looked as though it was actually hurt, it fell to the ground on its side, went into what looked like some kind of seizure, then blew into pieces that vanished into nothingness.

Twilight saw what happened, and as you surely may have guessed, this gave her an idea.

Twilight turned toward the Putty Pony she was fighting as it jumped forward to lunge at Twilight, who jumped out of the way and fired a magic bolt at the 'Z' on the Putty Pony's flank, which, sure enough, also caused the Putty Pony to explode into pieces.

"Girls! try hitting the Z's on their flanks!" Twilight suggested.

"Got it!" Rainbow Dash responded as she turned her attention to another Putty Pony, who started charging at her and tried to jump her, but Rainbow flash-stepped away from the attack.

"Ha! missed me!" Rainbow Dash taunted.

The Putty Pony tried again, only for the rainbow-maned Pegasus to instantly dodge it again.

"Seriously, I've seen Fluttershy pounce better than you!" Rainbow Dash mocked, "But I think I've had my fun for now."

Rainbow Dash then started running circles around the Putty Pony at incredible speeds. The Putty Pony tried looking around to keep track of Rainbow Dash, only to second extremely dizzy seconds later for its efforts.

Rainbow Dash saw this and immediately seized the opportunity to head-butt at the Putty Pony's 'Z', destroying it.

Applejack, meanwhile, was trying to hit the Z on the Putty Pony she was fighting, but it seemed to be fully aware of what she was planning and kept doing jumps and flips to dodge Applejack's attacks.

"You're a nimble little critter, aren't ya?" Applejack asked rhetorically, "But not nimble enough!"

Applejack pulled out one of her trademark lassos and threw it on the ground bellow the Putty Pony while it was in the middle of a back-flip. And when it landed, Applejack pulled her lasso to where it was now tied to the Putty Pony's right hind-leg. Applejack then pulled harder on the lasso, causing the Putty Pony to flip backward and land hard on its back. Applejack then started swinging the lassoed Putty Pony around like an Olympic throwing hammer.

"Pinkie Pie! think fast!" Applejack called out, somehow able to speak clearly with a rope in her mouth. Applejack then threw the Putty Pony toward Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie turned to the Putty Pony and quickly pulled out her Party Cannon and fired it, which caused the Cannon to launch a barrage of toy balls that bombarded the airborne Putty Pony's 'Z', also destroying it.

Oddly enough, Rarity seemed to be doing surprisingly well against the Putty Pony she was facing, she skillfully managed to block, dodge, and counter most of the mook's attacks with ease, to the point where she managed to successfully jump upward and used both hind-legs to land aerial kicks on the 'Z's of the two remaining Putty Ponies, you can guess what happened to them next.

The Mane 6 cheered over their victory.

"Ah'm kinda amazed we pulled through this," Applejack said, "Ah can't remember the last time Ah had to get physical with somepony."

"I know what you mean," Twilight said, looking as though she just broke a sweat, "I was worried we were gonna get our plots handed to us, good thing Fluttershy managed to help us find the Putty Ponies' weak points."

"I'm just glad it's over," Fluttershy said with some relief.

"Well, I think this was pretty exciting!" Pinkie Pie cheerfully said, "The way Rainbow ran circles around that mook and then, POW! And Rarity, that was some amazing hoof-work you did back there! Seems those self-defense lessons you took really paid off!"

"Well, Pinkie," Rarity said, appreciating the flattery, "A mare absolutely MUST know how to handle a group of ruffians, maybe you could all try taking up self-defense lessons yourselves, I know a stallion right here in Ponyville who would love to show you the basics."

"Yeah, to be fair, Rarity, that does sound like a good idea," Twilight said, "those Putty Ponies weren't easy nuts to crack, and they seemed to have some skill in martial arts themselves, some of us might not be so lucky next time."

"Regardless, we literally kicked their flanks!" Rainbow Dash boasted proudly, then turned to Rita and Zedd, "Ha! what do you have to say to that, Mr. and Mrs. 'We're gonna takeover the world'?"

"Ha!" Rita scoffed, "So you beat afew Putties, big deal! we've got a freak load more tricks up our sleeves than that!"

"Twilight!" Spike called out from somewhere, Twilight turned to her right to see him holding a box containing the Elements of Harmony.

"I got the Elements! catch!" Spike called out as he opened the box and swinged it upwards, causing the Elements to fly into the air.

Twilight quickly grabbed the Elements with her telekinesis and gave her friends their respective Elements before putting her's on herself.

"Bah! you think these little trinkets can stop us?" Rita asked, "Unless they can help you morph, you don't stand a chance!"'

Rainbow Dash grinned, "That's what you think!"

The Elements of Harmony started glowing before creating a rainbow circle that surrounded the Mane 6.

"Ha! put your magic trinkets together and you think can win?" Zedd asked, "We can do something like that too! watch!"

Zedd and Rita crossed their magic staffs together, waiting for the Mane 6 to make their move first.

The Mane 6 used the Elements of Harmony to unleash a magic rainbow beam that was aiming straight at Zedd and Rita, who both used the combined magic from their staffs to unleash a beam of evil magic, causing both magic beams to slam against each other, which surprised the Mane 6 and Spike.

But no pony was more surprised than Twilight, They.. they can fight it back? but this is impossible!

To make matters worst, Zedd and Rita's magic beam was managing to rapidly push back the rainbow beam that the Elements of Harmony created.

Seconds later, Zedd and Rita's beam fully blasted through the rainbow beam, causing the evil beam to hit the Mane 6, causing a large explosion that sent the Mane 6 and Spike flying several feet away until they all landed on their backs, stunned from the attack.

"Ugh, okay," Applejack groaned, trying to recover from the damage she took, "when did we suddenly become pushovers?"

Spike and rest of the Mane 6 got up, still hurt, but recovering from the damage they took.

Twilight, however, while still breathing, looked as though she was in a state of shock.

The Elements of Harmony didn't work! Twilight thought, How can this even be possible? not even Discord could protect himself from the Elements of Harmony. Just what are we dealing with here?

Rita laughed, "Ha! told you that you all don't stand a chance against us!"

"Well, I think we've had our fun with these fools," Zedd said, "I say we put them out of their misery!"

Zedd and Rita both readied their staffs to finish their 7 foes off, but before they could even start casting spells, The Mane 6 and Spike were suddenly encased in a white energy field, which almost immediately disappeared along with our heroes.

Zedd and Rita were both surprised and confused.

"What just happened?" Rita asked, "We didn't even do anything yet!"

Let's Harmonize! Part 2

Chapter 2

Almost instantly the Mane 6 and Spike somehow found themselves in a round, metal-like hallway that made it look like they were in some sort of pipeline.

Our heroes didn't know where they were, all they knew was they weren't in Ponyville anymore.

"Alright, what the hay is going on?" Applejack asked, understandably confused and very frustrated.

"Hey look! Princess Celestia!" Pinkie said, being her usual chipper self as she pointed her hoof.

The rest of the Mane 6 and Spike turned to see that, sure enough, Princess Celestia was approaching them.

"Are you all alright?" Celestia asked.

"We've taken a few scrapes from that riotous duo that call themselves Rita and Zedd, but we're okay" Rarity answered, then turned to Twilight with a concerned look, "But I fear Twilight here isn't taking what happened very well."

Celestia gave a worried look as she turned to Twilight, who was still in a state of shock.

"The Elements, they didn't work..." Twilight said in a soft, disbelieving tone.

Celestia only sighed, "I had feared this might happen."

Rainbow Dash looked at Celestia then raised an eyebrow, "Wait, do you know something about this?"

Celestia simply replied, "Follow me, I'll explain along the way."

The Mane 6 and Spike all followed Celestia down the hallway.

"When Spike sent me a letter explaining your encounter with Rita and Zedd, I feared the worst, so I teleported you all here," Celestia explained.

The Mane 6 turned to Spike, who simply said, "Yeah, I sent the letter just before I left the library with the Elements of Harmony, I figured she needed to know."

"Speaking of the Elements," Twilight said, "Why didn't they work on Zedd and Rita when we faced them? I thought nothing could fight them back."

"That would be because they are magic users from a different dimension," Celestia answered, "and thus, they use foreign magic that follow none of the same rules as magic in our world, making it far too alien for any Equestrian magic to have any decent effect on it, even the Elements."

"So if the Elements can't stop them, what can?" Twilight asked.

"That is what I've brought you all here for," Celestia answered, "I'll explain once we reach our destination."

Just a minute later, Celestia, the Mane 6, and Spike arrived at a big, wide, metal door, which opened automatically once Celestia was just half a meter away from it. The Mane 6 and Spike noticed Celestia didn't even cast any spells on the door, but decided not to question it now.

The Mane 6 and Spike followed Celestia into a very strange room, it looked like some sort of control room, The walls and floor looked grey-ish blue, with a semicircle of rather complicated-looking and colorful control panels and a huge monitor behind it.

The Mane 6 and Spike were amazed.

"Whoa," Rainbow Dash said with awe, "What is this place?"

"I call it the Control Chamber," Celestia said, "Though it's been decades since I last even set hoof in here, and that was just after it was built."

"Ah don't mean to sound impatient, your highness," Applejack said, "This here fancy gizmo room is nice an' all, but how are we gonna stop those two varmints from runnin' us all down?"

"Your concern is understandable, Applejack," Celestia said, "Don't worry, there is a way, but you all may find it very different from what you're used to."

Celestia walked over the control panel with the monitor behind it and pressed afew buttons, which caused to monitor to be turned on.

"Behold the monitor," Celestia said, and the Mane 6 and Spike promptly looked.

What they saw in the monitor were a group of humanoid figures wearing what looked like strangely colored spandex and plastic-looking helmets which appeared to cover their entire heads.

"Who are they?" Twilight asked.

"They're called Power Rangers," Celestia answered, "In their universe, they are extraordinary warriors from various planets, many were said to have been chosen by an intergalactic entity known as Zordon to be given powers unlike anything ever seen in Equestria. These powers made them the only line of defense their homeworlds have against the forces of intergalactic evil, the same evil you just faced minutes ago."

"So, I'm gonna take a wild guess on this," Rainbow Dash said, "You're saying we're gonna need these so-called powers to stop those two clowns?"

Celestia nodded, "Correct, I have a plan for that, it's a longshot, but I believe it's worth a try."

Suddenly, a silent puff of black smoke appeared, the smoke quickly dissipated to reveal Princess Luna, who was levitating a small chest.

"Ah, you're arrived just in time, Luna, welcome," Celestia greeted, "You have them then?"

Luna nodded, "They were right you said they'd be, my dear sister."

Luna opened the small chest to reveal 6 golden disks, each with small indentations shaped like one of the Elements of Harmony, the disks looked small enough to easily fit on a pony's hoof. Celestia levitated the golden disks and landed each of them in front of the matching Element bearers.

"I know you must have alot of questions and I know this is alot to take in," Celestia said, "And I'm sorry if it seems like I'm rushing things, but time is of the essence now, so place your elements into these matching disk Morphers."

The Mane 6 removed the Elements from their necklaces (or crown in Twilight's case), then placed their Elements into the matching indentations of their Morphers.

"Okay, now, the source of all Ranger powers is an energy field called the Morphin Grid," Celestia said, "I believe if we can bind the magical energies of the Elements of Harmony with the Morphin Grid, these said energies will convert into Ranger powers. So, in that sense, you'll still be using the Elements, but be warned; you'll be using far more different methods than what you're used to."

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked.

"I'm not gonna lie," Celestia replied with a slightly grim tone, "Because of how most villains the Rangers have to deal with can neither be bargained nor reasoned with, Ranger powers been made, by design, to be.. mostly combat oriented."

"So you're saying we'll have to fight Zedd and Rita's forces straight-up hoof-to-hoof with these powers?" Rarity asked, Celestia only nodded.

"I'm not sure I like this..." Fluttershy said, starting to become apprehensive about the idea.

Celestia sighed, "I'm sorry, I wish there was another way, but given the circumstances, we have no choice."

"Don't worry, Princess," Rainbow Dash reassured Celestia, "We wouldn't still be standing here with you if we weren't willing to do whatever it takes to protect Equestria, you don't even have to ask us to do this, you already know what our answer will be."

Celestia smiled, "Spoken like a true Bearer of Loyalty. Now, Luna will open a gateway to the Morphin Grid while I will prepare the spell that will bind the Elements of Harmony to it."

Celestia and Luna positioned themselves to where they were both in front of the Mane 6 and Spike, and facing each other. Luna casted the first spell, which opened a small portal. Celestia then casted a spell on the Elements of Harmony, which causes each of them to project narrow beams of energy that entered the portal.

But suddenly, the Elements of Harmony unleashed a powerful flash of light, causing everyone to flinch and cover their eyes in response.

When the light faded, everyone in the room opened their eyes to see the portal was gone and the Morpher-hooked Elements stopped glowing.

"Did it work?" Applejack asked.

"Sorry to say, I'm not entirely sure," Celestia replied, "only one way to find out; use them now."

"What? now? but how?" Twilight asked.

"Hey! that rhymed!" Pinkie Pie pointed out, but everyone in the room ignored what she said.

Rainbow Dash picked up her Morpher, her friends noticed her eyes suddenly and briefly flashed before she called out, "Let's Harmonize!"

Rainbow Dash spuratically stood up to her hindlegs while holding her Morpher with her right front hoof, she waved her morpher in a circular motion before quickly pointing it upward toward the ceiling, then pointing it out in front, facing her direction.

"Go! Power of Loyalty!" Rainbow Dash called out, as if she said it unconsciously.

In, yet another flash of light, golden boots suddenly appeared on Rainbow Dash's hooves. Then, some cyan spandex started to gradually materialize all over her body except her wings, which were oddly left exposed, followed by some sort of golden vest that covered her upper torso, which Rainbow's Morpher quickly floated toward until it sticked itself to the front of Rainbow's vest. Finally, a cyan helmet with a lightning bolt-shaped, solid black tinted visor.

Rainbow Dash, still standing on her hindlegs for some reason, looked at herself in amazement, "Wow! this feels awesome!"

"How'd ya do that?" Applejack asked.

"I don't know!" Rainbow Dash replied as she went back on all fours and took her helmet off, "I was just thinking about how to use that thing, when suddenly, I found myself doing all that bizarre posing you saw me do, as if something in my head suddenly told me I had to do it like that."

"Let me check something..." Twilight said as she approached Rainbow Dash, who morphed into the Cyan Ranger of Loyalty.

Twilight's horn started glowing, she looked as though she was looking for something, she suddenly cried out, as if startled by something, and cancelled her spell.

"Oh my," Fluttershy said with concern, "You alright, Twilight?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Twilight said after quickly calming down, "I casted a spell that was supposed to help me examine Rainbow Dash's newfound powers, but from what I've already seen, apparently Rainbow Dash's morphing has increased the power of her Element immensely! by tenfold I think, maybe even more."

"So the Elements become more powerful when you use them to morph?" Luna asked, "Interesting..."

"Indeed," Celestia agreed, "though I am now worried about what sort of power we're now placing in your hooves, I fear we don't have time to dwell on that now, if nothing else, you should all now at least have a fighting chance against Zedd and Rita."

Suddenly, an alarm went off. A worried Celestia quickly went to the control panel and pressed afew buttons, causing the monitor to show Rita and Zedd, who were still in Ponyville, much to Celestia's surprise.

Rita and Zedd were on a raised wooden platform, with Zedd sitting on a stone throne and Rita standing near the front edge of the platform, holding a conductor's wand and waving it around.

In front of the platform were several ponies held hostage and surrounded by Putty Ponies, they were all forced to sing along with Rita;

"99 buckets of slime on the wall! 99 buckets of slime!"

"Take one down, pass it around, 98 buckets of slime on the wall!"

"This is not good!" Twilight said.

"I have to agree," Pinkie said, " the set-up's impressive, but that singing is tasteless!" the rest of the Mane 5 looked at her, "What?"

"They're progressing faster than I thought," Celestia commented, "you better head over here quickly, but going back on hoof will take too long, so you should all take these;"

Celestia opened a secret compartment under the control panel and pulled out 6 wrist-watch-like devices and strapped them on each of the Mane 6's right front legs.

"These will be your new communicators," Celestia said, "they will allow you to contact me and or Luna while we're in the Control Chamber, and each other at any distance at any time, they also come with built-in teleportation devices that will enable you to teleport you anywhere in Equestria with just a thought, I used a similar device from the Control Chamber to bring you here."

Luna took another look at the monitor, "We suggest you get there quickly."

"Right," Twilight agreed, "Alright, girls! let's harmonize!"

The rest of the Mane 5 all stood on their back legs and mimicked the quick movements Rainbow Dash did before holding out their Morphers. Rainbow Dash simply put her helmet back on.

"Go! Power of Laughter!" Pinkie exclaimed, then morphed into the Pink Ranger of Laughter, with her Ranger costume being slightly similar to Rainbow Dash's, except it was pink and gold, with a balloon-shaped visor on her helmet.

"Go! Power of Generosity!" Rarity exclaimed, then morphed into the White Ranger of Generosity, with her costume being white and gold, with a diamond-shaped visor on her helmet, her horn also was sticking out of said helmet.

"Go! Power of Honesty!" Applejack exclaimed, then morphed into the Orange Ranger of Honesty, with her costume being orange and gold, with an apple-shaped visor on her helmet.

"Go! Power of Kindness!" Fluttershy exclaimed, in a surprisingly audible tone, then morphed into the Yellow Ranger of Kindness, with her costume being yellow and gold, with a butterfly-shaped visor on her helmet. Much like Rainbow though, Fluttershy's wings were the only parts not covered by the costume

"Go! Power of Magic!" Twilight Sparkle exclaimed, then morphed into the Lavender Ranger of Magic, with her costume being lavender and gold, and her helmet's visor being shaped like her Cutie Mark like the rest of her friends. Like with Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash, her wings and horn were the only parts of her left fully exposed.

Celestia and Luna looked at all six Pony Rangers in amazement, they could both feel the combined and radically enhanced power of the Elements of Harmony radiating within these six heroes without even trying, both the sisters could tell the Mane 6 will clearly be a force to be reckoned with.

Before the two princesses could say anything, the Six Pony Rangers struck a pose where the rose up their right front legs, looked up, then teleported out of the Control Chamber, leaving Celestia, Luna, and Spike the only ones left.

Spike looked at the spot where Twilight and her friends used to be, he looked worried.

Celestia walked over to the young dragon and gently stroked his back with her left hoof in an effort to comfort him.

"You think they'll be alright?" Spike asked.

Celestia only gave a gentle smile, "I've just made what I think was a riskier gamble with the Elements than I ever had to do before. But when they morphed, Luna and I sensed that Twilight and her friends have gained greater power than either of us have ever known, and you know I've never put any doubt in what Twilight and her friends are capable of, if anypony can do this, they can."

Celestia turned her head to the monitor, Spike looked at it along with her.

"But for now," Celestia said, "All we can do is watch, and have faith."

Let's Harmonize! Part 3

Chapter 3

"80 buckets of slime on the wall! 80 buckets of slime! take one down, pass it around, 79 buckets of slime on the wall!"

The captive ponies were still singing along with Rita, much to their dismay, While Lord Zedd was still sitting on his throne, looking like he and Rita think they're on top of the world. The captive Ponies were still surrounded by Pony Putties and some even appeared to have been beaten up by them from attempts at escaping or fighting back

Zedd laughed whole-heartedly with content, as if he and Rita felt they were on top of the world, "Hahaha! this has been all too easy! It feels almost too good to be true!"

"That would be be because it is!" called out a voice coming from the direction Zedd and Rita were facing.

The singing stopped, Zedd stood up as he and Rita looked past the ponies they held captive and the Putty Ponies surrounding them and were surprised, yet also almost resigned toward what they saw.

"Oh, you gotta be kidding!" Rita exclaimed.

Zedd and Rita were looking at the Mane 6, whom were now the Harmonic Pony Power Rangers, or Pony Rangers for short, And the Pony Rangers were, again, standing on their hind legs.

"Hmph!" Zedd scoffed, "I should've known we'd have to put up with Power Rangers here too!"

"We're not just Power Rangers!" Rainbow Dash, the Cyan Ranger, exclaimed excitingly while finding herself constantly and erratically striking poses as she talked, "We're Pony Rangers!"

"And we're here to kick your flanks!" Pinkie, the Pink Ranger, exclaimed, also constantly posing.

"And protect everypony from your evil!" Fluttershy, the Yellow Ranger, exclaimed in a surprisingly normal sounding voice, and also posing.

"We now have power you'll wish you've never faced!" Rarity, the White Ranger, exclaimed, also posing.

"There's no way you can win! and that's jus' being purely honest!" Applejack, the Orange Ranger, exclaimed, also posing.

Twilight, the Lavender Ranger, was also posing as she said, "And we'll never run, hide, nor surrender! 'cause we're-"

"THE PONY RANGERS!" All 6 Rangers called out as they finally stopped at a pose where their front legs were to their sides and an explosion occurred behind the Mane 6 Rangers, followed by the random appearance of color-coded smoke clouds appearing behind each Ranger, each having the same respective color as the Ranger standing in front of it.

All 6 Rangers went back on all fours, Twilight in particular, collapsed to the ground.

"Whew! this is exhausting! I should work out a little more," Twilight said, panting slightly, "What is up with these powers? It's like they control our actions at certain points."

"Maybe that's how we learn to use them, after all, same thing happened when I thought about morphing," Rainbow Dash said.

"Ha! having difficulties with Ranger powers, are you?" Lord Zedd asked, "better hope you can do more than pose, 'cause otherwise I might end up almost feeling sorry for you all, almost. Now, Putty Ponies! ATTACK!"

The Putty Ponies start charging at the Pony Rangers, the civilian captives took advantage of this and ran away from the scene before Zedd and Rita could do anything.

Zedd thought about having the Putty Ponies grab the hostages again, but then thought, Nah, they weren't good singers anyway.

"Oooh! we're gonna have our first fight as superheroes!" Pinkie exclaimed excitingly, "Almost makes you wish there was some epic music to go with it."

Power metal music suddenly played out of nowhere;

the Rangers all looked around in confusion, even Pinkie.

"Huh?" Pinkie said in confusion, "I didn't expect that kind of music, but hey, this can work too."

"Pinkie, who are you talking to?" Twilight asked.

"It's a little... complicated," Pinkie answered, "let's just say I think we're gonna have more spuratic moments later."

As the Putty Ponies charged at the Rangers, the Rangers promptly charged right toward their foes as well.

Rarity approached a Putty Pony and got onto her hindlegs, which prompted her opponent to do the same. The Putty Pony tried to jab at Rarity with its right front hoof, but Rarity limboed under it, grabbed the Putty Pony's right front leg, and threw it to the ground with judo-like skill, she then kicked the Putty Pony to where it was laying on its side, then she elbow-dropped (or front-knee-dropped?) the Putty Pony's 'Z', destroying it.

Rainbow Dash was approached by a handful of Pony Putties, so Rainbow Dash shouted, "Harmony Feather Missle Fury!" She then started spinning around, causing her to unleash a volley of dart-like projectiles shaped like feathers, which all hit the mooks, causing sparks to appear on spots where the Putty Ponies got hit, as well as causing them to be knocked onto their backs, as if stunned from the attack.

Fluttershy was approached by a single Putty Pony and was almost immediately frightened by it, she started walking backward as it tried to get closer, whenever it was in range, it tried to hit Fluttershy only for her to find herself expertly dodging or blocking each attack.

At one point, Fluttershy stood on her hindlegs and held out her front hooves, pleading timidly, "please! just stop, I'm really not worth your time, I'm not even that good a Ranger, I just got the job after all, so did my friends."

But suddenly, a flash of yellow light occurred briefly and an arm-cannon-like device somehow materialized on Fluttershy's right front hoof.

Forgetting about the Putty Pony for a moment, Fluttershy examined the arm-cannon in confusion and curiosity. The Putty Pony also stopped its attack, as if confused by how Fluttershy was suddenly ignoring the mook.

But then, Fluttershy's confused fiddling with the controls caused the arm-cannon to suddenly fire, hitting the Putty Pony and knocked it back several feet to where the Putty Ponies who were stunned by Rainbow Dash were.

Applejack (or the Orange Ranger) saw the whole thing with Fluttershy and said, 'Say, Ah think Ah have an idea!"

Applejack charged at the stunned Putty Ponies and shouted, "Harmony Power Lasso!"

Suddenly, the stunned Putty Ponies found themselves tied together in a lasso that looked as though it was made of pure energy. They looked to see Applejack was standing on her hindlegs and and holding the lasso with her front hooves.

Applejack jumped then yanked the energy lasso, swinging it and the Putty Ponies around like a hammer throw.

"Fluttershy!" Applejack called out, "Once Ah throw those varmints into the air, you shoot 'em with yer blaster-thingly!"

"Oh, um, okay," Fluttershy said in compliance.

Finally, Applejack threw the energy lasso into the air, along with the Putty Ponies. Fluttershy then fired her arm cannon-like device, which we'll call a Hoof Blaster, and actually manages to hit them all in their flank 'Z's, destroying them.

Fluttershy seemed stunned by what she did, as if not really sure what to make of it, "oh... my..."

Pinkie Pie simply stood where she was as several Putty Ponies charged straight at her from multiple direction, when they got close enough, Pinkie simply jumped up, caused the Putty Ponies to crash into each other, causing them to knock each other down to the ground by accident.

"Yuhooo!" Pinkie called out to the stunned Putty Ponies, who all turned their heads and saw Pinkie standing just afew feet away from them. they tried again to pounce at her only for her to jump over them again, causing to them to trip and stumble in surprise.

Pinkie saw that the Putty Ponies were conveniently laying on their sides, so she promptly started jumping on their 'Z's like she was playing hopscotch on them, again, destroying them.

The few remaining Putty Ponies decided to go after Twilight, who was standing her ground, ready to fight.

"Alright, let's see how these Ranger powers work for me," Twilight said to herself, at first. she tried to cast a spell, but to her surprise, nothing happened, Twilight was shocked and confused, "Wha? how's that even possible?"

One of the Putty Ponies tried to ram at Twilight, but she managed to jump away, she tried flapping her wings in the middle of the jump, but for some reason, they didn't work either, this doesn't make sense, Twilight thought.

Twilight turned on the communicator, which was hidden in her costume, and spoke through it, "Princess Celestia, what's going on? for some reason, it seems I can't use magic or fly while I'm morphed.

"It's possible that when you're morphed, the Ranger powers will only allow you to use abilities and attacks that they give you," Celestia replied through Twilight's communicator, "I'll use the Control Chamber's main computer to view into the Morphin Grid and look for any additional abilities you haven't already discovered yet, but in the meantime, I'm sorry to say you'll have to make do."

"Got it!" Twilight said, then turned off her communicator.

Another Putty Pony tried to ram at Twilight, but she quickly turned and smack the Putty Pony in the head with her left wing, knocking it down to the ground, Twilight turned and saw two more Putty Ponies charging at her, she promptly charged at them, managed to get between them, and close-lined both of them by opening both her wings, causing them to be knocked on their backs.

Twilight then held out her right front hoof and exclaimed, "Hoof Blaster!" and her Hoof Blaster appeared and she quickly fired it on each of the Z-flanks of the remaining Putty Ponies, destroying them.

With that, all the Putty Ponies were finally defeated.

All 6 Pony Rangers turned to Rita and Zedd, who both looked surprisingly unbothered by how their mooks were defeated.

"Ha! suck on that, you you freakish-looking bozos!" Rainbow Dash dissed as she pointed her hoof at Rita and Zedd, "Why don't you two come down here and fight us like.. uh... bipedal... staff-holding, comic book super-villain rejects?"

Both Lord Zedd and Rita laughed at how Rainbow's attempt at provoking them fell flat, and they both jumped off the platform so that they were now at ground level with the Pony Rangers.

"Ha! you want us to fight you?" Lord Zedd asked, "Don't flatter yourselves, we got a planet to conquer, why should we soil our hands on the likes of you?"

"But don't worry," Rita said, "we know someone who should keep you busy while we're gone!"

Rita and Zedd turned to the platform behind them, crossed their staffs together, and both shouted "MAKE OUR MONSTER AND MAKE HIM GROW!"

A powerful bolt of magic came from both their staffs hit the wooden platform and turned him into a giant bipedal monster that looked as though it was made entirely of wood and looked around ten stories tall.

The wood monster had a huge and thick log for a torso, its arms and legs were long, narrow, and bizarrely flexible legs, its hands looked like they were made entirely out planks of wood, its feet are giant planks of wood, and even its head looked like a giant plank of wood with a face drawn on it.

"Gahahahaha!" the wood monster bellowed, "Hey! I am Wood Chuck! and I wood love a chance to crush some Rangers!"

The Pony Rangers were shocked at the sight of this monster.

"Oookay," Twilight said with some nervousness in her tone, "that was unexpected."

"At least to anypony that's not the reader," Pinkie said, looking at the wooden monster with awe..

"A monster this tall makes some full-grown dragons look like hound dogs," Rainbow Dash quipped.

"I had no idea those two were capable of conjuring such a monstrosity," Rarity commented, as if both intrigued and intimidated by the sight of Wood Chuck.

"Now Ah wish Ah had a chainsaw...," Applejack muttered to herself.

Fluttershy simply stood frozen in place, clearly terrified over seeing the giant monster, as if she was almost on the verge of fainting.

"Have fun, Rangers!" Rita said mockingly as she and Lord Zedd started walking off.

"Wait!" Twilight called out, but Zedd and Rita quickly teleported away before she could even start getting to them.

"Uh, Twilight," Rainbow said, clearly sounding unnerved from inside her helmet as she just stand around, looking up at Wood Chuck, "Something tells me we're gonna need bigger powers..."

Let's Harmonize! Part 4

Chapter 4

Looking up the the giant wood monster called Wood Chuck, The Pony Rangers could tell they got their work cut out for them.

"Alright girls," Twilight, the Lavender Ranger, said,"There's no doubt this won't be easy, but I think we can take this hunk of lumber down, Hoof Blasters!"

All 6 Pony Rangers summoned their Hoof Blasters and fired them at the giant Wood Chuck, but that attack didn't seem to even phase him.

"Hahahahaha!" Wood Chuck bellowed, "That didn't so much as chip off any bark! let me show you how to really make someone go timber!"

Wood Chuck stomped the ground hard, causing the ground to shake tremendously, with the Pony Rangers struggling to keep on their hooves, only to find themselves falling to their sides.

When the ground stopped shaking, the Rangers quickly went back on their hooves, they all suddenly heard beeping coming from their communicators and Rainbow Dash, the Cyan Ranger, promptly turned hers on.

"Uh, Princess?" Rainbow said, "We literally got some BIG trouble here."

"I know, I'm looking at this monster through the Control Chamber's monitor," Celestia voice came from Rainbow's communicator, "But don't worry, you have a means to bring it down, I've already sent over your Harmony Zords, they should be here in a moment"

"Harmony Zords? what are they?" Twilight asked.

"Giant battle machines used for these very situations," Celestia answered.

There was a slightly awkward 10-second pause among the Rangers.

"Rangers do this alot, don't they?" Applejack asked.

"Yes, yes they do," Celestia answered in a rather plain tone, almost as if she was having less trouble taking in the strangeness of the whole situation than the Mane 6 are.

"Hey girls!" Pinkie, the Pink Ranger, exclaimed, "Lookee over here!"

The other 5 Rangers turned around to see what Pinkie was looking at, and sure enough, they saw a group of giant mechanical animals heading their direction.

Those mechanical gaint animals consisted of the following, a Lavender Owl Zord, an Orange Collie Zord, a Pink Gator Zord, a White Cat Zord, a Yellow Rabbit Zord, and a Cyan Turtle Zord. The Owl Zord in particular was flapping its wings to stay in the air above the other Zords.

"Wow! those must be our Harmony Zords!" Twilight exclaimed, clearly amazed by what she was seeing.

"We get giant robot animals to ride?" Rainbow Dash asked metaphorically in excitement, "I can't even put to words how awesome this is!"

"I must say, whoever built this fine machines has excellent taste in craftsmanship," Rarity commented.

"Ah've never seen so much metal on somethin' so big.." Applejack also commented.

"oh my.. we have to fight that monster with these things?" Fluttershy asked, clearly shocked by what she was seeing.

Suddenly, in a flash of light, the Pony Rangers disappeared.

Twilight found herself reappearing in a strange small room, it consisted of what looked like a control panel, a cushion in front of said control panel, and a giant glass windshield that gave a full view of Pony from above as well as the giant Wood Chuck, who seemed to be standing his ground, as if waiting for the Pony Rangers to make the first move, and judging from how Twilight could see all the other Zords bellow her, Twilight figured she must be in the Lavender Owl Zord.

"This must be the cockpit for my Zord," Twilight said to herself, she turned on her communicator, "Girls, can any of you read me?"

"Loud and clear, Twi," Applejack responded from inside the cockpit of her Collie Zord, "Ah'm in some kinda weird gizmo room."

"Me too," Rainbow Dash said from inside her Turtle Zord.

"I think I am too," said Fluttershy while she was in her Rabbit Zord.

"It seems we're all in the Zords of our respective color," Rarity observed from within, as you likely guessed, her Cat Zord.

"Wow, this is cool!" Pinkie exclaimed, then looked at the control panel of her Gator Zord, "Hey! nice stereo!"

Twilight walked over to her Zord's control panel and sat down on the cushion that was in front of it, Twilight looked at the Zord's controls.

"These controls look simple enough," Twilight said, "Alright girls, you all ready?"

"Ready!" said all 5 of Twilight's friends, all already sitting down ready to pilot their Zords.

"Alright!" Twilight exclaimed.

Then, all 6 Pony Rangers held out their front hooves and shouted, "HARMONY ZORDS! POWER UP!"

All 6 Harmony Zords started charging (or flying in the case of Twilight's Owl Zord) at Wood Chuck.

"You're barking up the wrong tree if you think these sissy Zords can stop me!" Wood Chuck mocked.

"We'll see about that!" Twilight responded as she flew her Owl Zord toward Wood Chuck, "Firing lasers!"

The Lavender Owl Zord's beak open and a lavender-colored laser beam fired out of it. The laser managed to hit Wood Chuck, who was easily staggered by the attack, making it obviously that he was hurt by it.

When the Owl Zord was close enough, Wood Chuck tried to grab it, but the Owl Zord banked left and turned away from the monster.

"Hey! get back here you little woodpecker!" Wood Chuck called out.

"You better start worrying about me instead!" Rainbow Dash boasted.

The Cyan Turtle Zord stomped over to where it was just afew meters away from Wood Chuck. The Turtle Zord then opened the front of its shell to reveal a pair of giant missile launchers.

"Cyan Turtle Zord! fire all missles!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

The Turtle Zord's missile launchers started firing, unleashing a barrage of missles at Wood Chuck.

The missles managed to hit Wood Chuck hard, successfully knocking the wood monster off his feet.

"What's the matter, Wood Chuck? getting a little shell-shocked?" Rainbow Dash dissed.

"Yew are gonna pay for that!" Wood Chuck called out as he picked himself back up on his feet and started charging at Rainbow's Cyan Turtle Zord.

"I think it's our turn, wouldn't you agree, Applejack?" Rarity asked from inside the cockpit of her White Cat Zord.

"Darn tootin'!" Applejack said in agreement from within her Orange Collie Zord cockpit.

Both the Cat Zord and Collie Zord dashed past the Turtle Zord and started charging at Wood Chuck.

Both Zords jumped bit hard hanging onto Wood Chuck's arms with their metallic teeth, causing sparks to come out of where the monster was getting bitten.

"Yargh!" Wood Chuck cried out in pain, "I guess your bites are worst than my bark, but I think I know how to root out that problem!"

Wood Chunk then swinged his arms to where they made the Collie and Cat Zords crash into each other.

The impact made the two Zords shake violently, with Applejack and Rarity both shaking from within their cockpits, struggling to keep hold on their controls. Eventually, both Zords were forced to release Wood Chuck from their toothy grip and they both fell back down to the ground.

"Whoa nelly!" Applejack said, "That was quite a rush."

Fluttershy's Yellow Rabbit Zord started making several 6-meter long hops around Wood Chuck until it got behind him.

Twilight, from in her Owl Zord, saw the Rabbit Zord's movements from above and started talking to Fluttershy through her communicator, "You planning to strike him from behind Fluttershy?"

"You could say that," Fluttershy confirmed, but started looking around her control panel with a very confused demeanor, "But at this point I'm trying to figure out how to do the 'striking' part with a giant mechanical bunny. Now which button to do I..."

Fluttershy pressed a random button, and noticed the ears on her Rabbit Zord were suddenly crackling with electricity, she pressed the button again, which caused the Rabbit Zord to start firing bolts of lightning at Wood Chuck with its mechanical rabbit ears.

"Yeow!" Wood Chuck cried in pain, then turned to Fluttershy's Rabbit Zord, "Why you! you're gonna regret tryin' to turn me into firewood!"

Wood Chuck was about to approach the Rabbit Zord when he felt one of his feet stuck on something, he looked down to see his right leg was being held by a certain Pony Ranger's Pink Gator Zord, that had its head turned sideways and was biting at Wood Chuck's leg with its teeth.

Wood Chuck was ticked, and promptly started stomping on the Pink Gator Zord.

"Whoa! urgh!" Pinkie grunted as her Gator Zord was violently shaking from getting stomped on by Wood Chuck.

"Hold on, Pinkie!" Twilight exclaimed as she flew her Lavender Owl Zord straight at Wood Chuck, "I'll get you out of this!"

The Lavender Owl Zord fired more laser beams out of its beak and caused Wood Chuck to stagger, giving Pinkie enough time to release the monster from her Gator Zord's toothy grip and allow her to move her Zord to a safer distance.

However, once the Owl Zord was close enough, Wood Chuck quickly backhanded the Owl Zord, which knocked it around and caused it to spin out of control as it was now head straight for a nearby Ponyville building.

"TWILIGHT!" all 5 of her friends called out from their Zord cockpits.

Twilight was struggling to regain control of her Zord, she knew that obviously that if her Zord were to crash into that building, things will get ugly fast.

Twilight gave the joystick on her control panel a death grip with both her front hooves as she tried hard at pushing the opposite direction of where she was spinning out of control, after much straining, she managed to regain control of her Owl Zord just in time to pull up away from the building.

"Whew! that was way too close!" Twilight signed in relief, she then turned on her communicator to talk to Princess Celestia, " Celestia, these Zords are helping us do better, but it's still not enough to beat him."

"Then we have only one option left," Celestia said through the Pony Ranger's communicators, "you all must combine your Harmony Zords to form the Harmony Megazord!"

"Harmony Megazord?" Twilight asked.

"It's one of your most powerful Ranger weapons," Celestia said, "your Zords can turn into body parts that are used to form a giant bipedal robot, that is the Harmony Megazord."

"How do we combine our Zords then?" Twilight asked.

"Don't worry," Celestia reassured, "I can walk you through the process, first; Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, vocally command your Yellow Rabbit Zord and Pink Gator Zord to form the legs."

"Okey Dokey Lokey!" Pinkie said cheerfully.

"Oh, alright, here goes," Fluttershy said in compliance, "Yellow Rabbit Zord!"

"Pink Gator Zord!" Pinkie called out.

"Form the legs!" both Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie called out

The Rabbit Zord and Gator Zord both moved to where they were parallel with each other, then they both lifted their bottoms to where they were both pointing upward at the sky and the Zords had only their heads and necks touching the ground.

"Rainbow Dash, your Cyan Turtle Zord is the Harmony Megazord's torso," Celestia said.

"Got it! Cyan Turtle Zord! form the torso!" Rainbow Dash called out.

The Cyan Turtle Zord retracted its head and legs back into its shell, and the shell started floating upward, turned to where it was at a vertical angle, the shell then floated to the legs and connected to the legs, with the upper part of the shell making up the front part of the torso.

"Applejack, Rarity, your Orange Collie Zord and White Cat Zord are also the Harmony Megazord's arms," Celestia said.

"Right!" both Rarity and Applejack said.

"Orange Collie Zord!" Applejack called out.

"White Cat Zord!" Rarity called out.

"Form the arms!" both Applejack and Rarity called out.

Both the Collie Zord and Cat Zord laid down on their bellies and suddenly started floating upward, both Zords connected to opposite sides of the torso, with the Collie Zord on the right and the Cat Zord on the left, finally, the heads of the Zords magically transformed into five-fingered hands.

"Twilight, I think you've already figured out what you must do," Celestia said through Twilight's communicator.

"Don't worry, I know," Twilight reassured, then called out "Lavender Owl Zord! form the head!"

The Lavender Owl Zord flew over and landed on the top of the torso, the front of the Owl Zord opened up to reveal a robotic face that consisted of a pink visor and a metallic purple face plate.

the Harmony Megazord was finally fully assembled.

After another random teleportation, the Pony Rangers found themselves all sitting in a much larger looking control room, the Pony Rangers were sitting what seemed like a hexagon-like seating formation, with Twilight at the very front, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy sitting next to her, with Applejack and Rarity respectively sitting behind them, and Rainbow Dash sitting in the very back on the control room. Each of the six Pony Rangers also had small control panels in front of them for controlling different parts of the Harmony Megazord.

"Wow!" Twilight said with tremendous amazement," This machine is gigantic!"

"I must agree," Rarity said, "it must be almost as tall as Canterlot Castle."

"I bet you could throw an Ursa Major around like a beach ball with this thing!" Rainbow Dash commented.

"Oh my.." Fluttershy said in a rather shocked tone, still having trouble sinking in what's going on and what she and her friends have been doing, "I hope we don't step on anypony."

"Wow wee!" Pinkie exclaimed excitedly, "Once we're done, remind me to throw a giant robot party later!"

"Ah say we start puttin' the petal to this metal!" Applejack suggested.

"Right!" all 6 Pony Rangers exclaimed in agreement.

"I should hope you haven't forgotten about trying to prune me!" Wood Chuck said as he charged straight at the Harmony Megazord.

The Harmony Megazord promptly started marching at Wood Chuck. Wood Chuck tried to punch the Megazord, but it skillfully parried the attack with one arm and unleashed a powerful punch of its own that landed right on Wood Chuck's chest, causing him to stagger slightly.

"Yow!" Wood Chuck cried out in pain, "Why don't you make a tree and leaf!"

Wood Chuck suddenly held out his hands, which caused holes to open on the palms, and suddenly, leaves started coming out of the holes and the leaves were swiftly flying toward the Harmony Megazord.

When any of the leaves landed on the Harmony Megazord, they unleashed several small explosions, which caused the Megazord to stagger, and the Rangers piloting it to shake from the ensuing vibrations that came from the attack. But surprisingly, the Harmony Megazord didn't suffer much serious damage.

"Whoa, what a rush," Applejack commented after the violent shaking she and her friends suffered from the attack.

"I think it's time I branch out!" Wood Chuck cheerfully as he then started pointing the fingers of his right hand at the Harmony Megazord. the fingers then extended and turning into whip-like root fingers.that were trying to extend their way toward the Harmony Megazord.

The Harmony Megazord found itself suddenly tied up by a mass of roots.

Wood Chuck then turned the opposite direction, and swinged his rooty whip-like fingers over his head, along with the tied-up Harmony Megazord. Wood Chuck released the Harmony Megazord from its rooty prison so it could find itself being launched straight at Ponyville City Hall.

Fortunately, all staff within City Hall seemed to have seen the oncoming Megazord that was getting thrown toward them and they all quickly evacuated the building.

"Well, at least nopony will get hurt from this crash," Fluttershy commented.

"You mean aside from us, right?" Rainbow Dash asked with slight sarcasm.

"Way to keep with the positive, Rainbow," Twilight said with similar sarcasm, "either way, I suggest this; brace for impact!"

The Harmony Megazord found itself crashing head-first into Ponyville City Hall, causing most of the building to collapse and fall apart.

Mayor Mare witnessed the sight from a safe distance and said with exasperation, "not again, this is the third time this happened!"

The Harmony Megazord pulled itself out of the wreckage and went back on its feet.

"Hey, Princess," Rainbow Dash said through her communicator, "Any chance this thing has weapons of it's own? we're still getting tossed around here."

"Then it looks like you'll have to call upon the Harmony Blade," Celestia said through Rainbow Dash's communicator, "It's an extremely sharp and durable blade that can cut through even some of the toughest materials. you only need to vocally call for it to unleash it."

"Alright! we call upon the Harmony Blade!" Twilight called out.

Suddenly, a slot opened on the wrist of the Harmony Megazord's right arm (being Rarity's White Cat Zord), and a katar-like blade sprung out of the slot.

Wood Chuck tried to swing his root-whip fingers at the Harmony Megazord, only for the Megazord to skillfully grab the root fingers, and pulled strongly at them, forcibly dragging the monster toward the mechanical giant.

When Wood Chuck was pulled close enough, the Harmony Megazord quickly and relentlessly started slashing at Wood Chuck with its Harmony Blade. Hit sparks appeared in every spot Wood Chuck got hit and it was fast becoming clear that the Harmony Megazord was now doing some real damage.

Eventually, Wood Chuck managed to pull himself out of the Harmony Megazord's grip and said, "Argh, this is not my Arbor Day..."

"We've had enough of your stupid wood puns!" Rainbow Dash called out, "I say we finish this!"

suddenly a brief, seemingly random thought came to the minds of all 6 Pony Rangers, as if they were all thinking the exact same thing.

All 6 Pony Rangers called out; "HARMONY MEGAZORD! RAINBOW STRIKE!"

The Harmony Blade suddenly started glowing a rainbow-like aura before thrusting out the Blade, which caused the Harmony Blade to extend several meters long as it impaled Wood Chuck.

"YAAARRRGH!" Wood Chuck cried out in pain, and once the Harmony Blade shorted back to its original length, Wood Chuck slowly started to fall to the ground, "looks like it's timber for me!"

Wood Chuck finally fell face-down on the ground before literally exploding into nothingness.

Fluttershy sighed in relief.

"That's it! we did it!" Twilight cheered

"Oh yeah! we've proven we're just that awesome!" Rainbow Dash boasted cheerfully.

"On that I must agree," Rarity said in her usual sophisticated manner, "We've clearly put on quite a show."

"We were amazing!" Pinkie cheered, "I've never done anything this explosively big since the first New Years party I threw!"

"Hoo wee! Ah bet those two kooks Zedd and Rita would be plum embarrassed ta see the flank we kicked!" Applejack commented.

Later, back at the Control Chamber.

After quickly noticing a flash of light behind them, Celestia, Luna, and Spike all turned around to find the Pony Rangers have teleported back to the Control Chamber.

After quickly taking their helmets off, Spike quickly ran up to Twilight and hugged her.

"You girls were amazing!" Spike said, "Rita and Zedd's goons never stood a chance!"

Celestia gave a warm smile to the Mane 6, "I agree, you 6 never cease to impress, in your first time you've already proven more than capable of using Ranger powers as well as more than worthy of calling yourselves Power Rangers."

"And I should thank you for.. field testing the Harmony Zords, you're really put them though their paces," said a slightly nasally voice coming from somewhere.

The Mane 6 looked to their right to see a certain Earth Pony enter the Control Chamber through another door in the Control Chamber.

The Earth Pony had an unkempt short black mane and tail, light brown coat, a white lab coat, goggles with two-way mirror lenses that kept anypony from seeing his eyes, and a Cutie Mark what looks like a metal cog.

"My little ponies," Celestia said before walking over to the Earth Pony, "I'd like you to meet Professor Invento, one of Equestria's top scientists, its greatest inventor, and the stallion that built your Harmony Zords."

"As well as the stallion that made this marvelous temple of technology that is the Control Chamber," Professor Invento said proudly.

"Speaking of which," Twilight said, "Do we have any idea where Zedd and Rita could've ran off to?"

"I already sent out Royal Guards to search for them since they left you to fight that monster," Celestia said, "But I'm sorry to say, they so far have found no trace of them. by now they could be anywhere in Equestria or even anywhere on the planet. So for now all we can do is wait for them to make their next move. But anyway, I believe I owe you all an explanation for how I got all this planned out."

"I have to agree," Luna said, "You didn't even tell me much about this whole.. Power Ranger business you had planned when we got word from Spike about Zedd and Rita."

"You'll have to forgive me on that, dear sister," Celestia said, "it's been decades since Invento and I got things prepped, and because of how unorthodox and overzealous the whole idea was, I kept hoping I wouldn't have to go that route."

"I, on the other hoof, have been looking forward to it," Invento said, "After all, when you've been given the honor of working with some of the most advanced technology you've ever seen, I think it would only make sense to get some use out of it, but perhaps we should start from the beginning."

"You're right," Celestia said as everypony (plus one dragon) sat down, and she started to tell her tale; "It started afew decades ago, before the 7 of you were born and before Luna returned to us, the city of Fillydelphia was suddenly attacked by a monster from a different universe similar to the one you fought using your Zords. That monster hurt alot of ponies and caused alot of property damage, and even my magic did little to hold it back when I arrived with the royal guard to help protect the city."

Celestia paused briefly as she turned to one of the control panels and started pressing some buttons, then continued, "But then, a group of multicolored warriors that called themselves Power Rangers came to Equestria, they fought and quickly defeated the monster and disappeared as quickly as they came, I'll show you what this particular group of Rangers looked like;"

The monitor turned on to reveal a certain group of Rangers:

Celestia turned her gaze back toward the Mane 6, "But then, just a few short hours later, these Rangers came to me in my royal chambers using the same teleportation technology that was used to bring you here and back to Ponyville. They explained to me that the monster they defeated came to our world from their own through an experiment gone wrong that caused a gap between dimensions, I learned that they already fixed the problem and expressed concern that something from their dimension may attack Equestria again and offered to help me prepare accordingly."

"So they gave you the technical knowledge needed to build the Control Chamber and the Zords?" Twilight asked, quickly catching on.

"Precisely, the Professor here has been a great help to me in putting everything together," Celestia said as she noticed Professor Invento sitting on his haunches with his head held high with pride, "And those Rangers, knowing our society is more used to relying on magic, even helped me come up with a spell that can take powerful enough magical artifacts and convert them to Ranger Powers via binding them to the Morphin Grid, just as Luna and I did with your Elements of Harmony. And before they left, the Rangers then spent alot of time explaining to me the ways of the Power Ranger, how the foes usually attack, how Rangers fought their foes, what they usually do in most situations, all the virtues they stood for, and yes, even some of their greatest foes that inhabit their universe."

"Which is how you knew about Rita and Zedd?" Twilight asked.

"Yes, though-," Celestia was cut off when she suddenly heard staticy sound coming from behind her, she turned to see something happening to the monitor, as if something on screen was struggling to clear up, "Professor, what's going on?"

Professor Invento moved to another control panel and looked at a few small screens on it, "Look's like something's trying to tap into our communications channel, should I patch it through?"

"Go head," Celestia said, "Whoever is trying to contact us, they can't do us any harm from here."

Invento promptly pressed some buttons and the monitor cleared up to reveal Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa!

"Hello, girls!" Rita greeted, "I hope you didn't think you got us beat already."

"Now that would be wishful thinking," Rainbow Dash said with slight sarcasm.

"Don't think for a moment you've driven us out of your world that easily," Lord Zedd said, "You six may have defeated Wood Chuck, but the next time we strike at your planet, it won't be so easy to stop us!"

"You thought that was easy?" Twilight asked with a raised eyebrow.

Lord Zedd ignored Twilight's question and continued, "And don't bother trying to find us, we've already found a perfect place to build our new palace and you'll only find out where it is when you've lost and your entire planet is forever under my-" Rita quickly punched Zedd in the arm, "OW! I mean, our regime!"

Both Rita and Zedd laughed evilly.

"You better hope you'll be ready for us!" Rita said, "See ya later!"

The monitor suddenly went blank.

"Somethin' tells me those two varmints are gonna be around for a while," Applejack said.

"Which would mean we'll be using these new powers for while," Twilight pointed out in a worried tone, "But now I'm wondering if we can keep this up."

Celestia gave Twilight a reassuring smile, "Don't be discouraged, Twilight. Remember, even before you all got these Ranger powers, you and your friends have achieved many great things since you all became friends, you've all already done many thing that most used to believe were impossible. and if it helps, Power Rangers in their universe have always been seen as embodiments of heroism, teamwork, and honor, the same values you six young ponies have already followed throughout your previous adventures, simply continue to rely on each other, always stand up for what's right, and always follow the virtues your Elements of Harmony represent, the virtues you all represent, and your Ranger Powers will continue to serve you well."

"ooh! ooh! ooh! girls!" Pinkie called out, "I just thought of something I want us to do quickly!"

Pinkie motioned the rest of the Mane 6 over to her, they prompted walked over her and she had them all huddle together like a football team, they all mutter something that neither Spike, Celestia, nor Luna could hear, placed their right front hooves together.

"Okay, you all ready?" Pinkie asked, they all nodded, "1..2..3!"

"PONY RANGERS!"the Mane 6 all exclaimed as they all jumped up and raised their right front hooves.

And so, the adventure begins.
