Who Were They?

Twilight found herself in a white void. She was nervous to say the least, but ready to face whatever she needs to face in order to fully master dark magic to save Equestria.

"Are you ready to embrace the darkness?" said Sombra's voice. He was nowhere to be seen, but he could be heard perfectly.

"I am ready." she answered confidently.

"Good, but before I do, I must break your bond with Celestia, the shield she placed on you to prevent you from being fully corrupted by the dark arts." he explained. "Your loyalty, respect and love for her is holding you back."

"I am not the pony you think I am my faithful student." said a new, yet familiar voice. Twilight turned around to see Celestia before her.

"Celestia!" she quickly ran towards her mentor to hug her but was swiftly met with a slap to the face. She fell to the floor in pain. Confused, she got up. "Celestia...?" Why would she slap her student? She would ask herself.

"That was for turning your back on the destiny I planned out for you!" she scolded. "I had it all planned from the start!"

"What?" she could not believe this. "But you said I was free to fulfill whatever destiny I want?"

"Only the one's I approved of." the princess clarified. "Your destiny was to be molded into a perfect princess who would help enforce my decrees and policies, you were to be my perfect little puppet." she admitted. Suddenly, the world began to take shape, Twilight looked around to find herself in a different Ponyville. Everything looked slightly in disrepair, signs were written in both Equestrian and Caribou, the entire sky was gray and cloudy. But the worst part, were the citizens, everywhere she looked, there were caribou and pony males sexually and physically abusing mares. All mares wore collars, some where in stocks, some in leashes. The walls plastered with propaganda.

"You failed, that's what happened." dryly said a voice. Twilight turned around to see Dainn and his dower face. "And now you are mine!" he smirked as he pulled on a rope, Twilight was suddenly pulled to the dirt. She looked to see that a collar appeared around her neck. "So how dare you wander off with my permission!" he growled as he gave the mare a swift kick to the stomach. Twilight doubled over in pain.

The scene suddenly changed to a dark room. Twilight found herself in a dark void with Dainn himself. "Friendship and harmony couldn't save you the first time around Miss Sparkle, it'll take more than those foalish things to defeat us." he swiftly kicked the mare on the stomach again. The mare coughed up some blood from the painful force. "No wonder Celestia had so little faith in you!" he spat at the mare's face. "You are pathetic!" he proceeded to kick her a third time.

The unicorn was intimidated and scared, she had no idea what was going to happen. At the Crystal Palace, Cadance was dragged over to the mirror room and thrown to the floor. "You're becoming a thorn on our side Princess Cadance, I would have killed you in cold blood if not for the fact that we need your unborn child alive." the leader of the mysterious cult explained. She used her magic to activate the portal. "How about we set this on random?" she chuckled. She turned to her followers. "Bring the elements here, we'll scatter them across the multiverse so nopony will ever get to them."

One of the followers went over to the box that housed the elements of harmony, only to see it shake around on the floor. "Huh?" she was confused. "Mistress Houou?"

"Yes Goody Yuki?" asked the leader.

"Why is the box moving?" Yuki pointed at the box that started to shake violently.

"Huh?!" Suddenly, the box burst open and the six elements floated out of the box. Everyone, including Cadance, looked on in shock. "Explain! Explain!" yelled a stunned Mistress Houou to Cadance.

The pink alicorn had no idea what was going on either.

Before they knew it, the six elements flew out of the room through a nearby window and scattered away in opposite directions.

Platinum and Oleander were on Twilight's hot air balloon making their way to the Crystal Empire, just as it came into sight, both the princess and unicorn saw six objects fly out of the palace. "What is that?" asked Oleander. Suddenly, one of the six objects flew straight at them.

"Can it be?!" exclaimed Platinum. Before she could react, she saw the flying object hit Oleander square in the chest. "You okay?" she quickly tended to the unicorn, only to see what the object was; the Element of Magic.

"Oof." Oleander got up rubbing her chest. "What's this?"

Platinum quickly put the pieces together in her head. "You have been chosen." she said ominously to her travelling companion.

"For what?" the unicorn asked as she inspected the element of harmony.

"To become the new Element of Magic..."

At a base camp below, Dainn saw one of the objects flash by in the sky. He followed the object until he saw that it head towards an airship, but not just any airship, but the only that belongs to the Rangifer Kingdom. "Son of a bitch..." he muttered at the turn of events.

On the airship, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were on the deck, the ice sprites running around them manning the ship. They were joined by Velvet who walked out from below deck. "Ah, that was a nice beauty sleep, now I feel fully energized and beautiful again." she confidently smiled as she twirled her body around like a figure skater. "How far until we reach Canterlot?" she asked the two ponies.

"Maybe thirty minutes, we're in Equestria that's for sure." explained Dash as she analyzed the horizon, only to see an object fly towards them. "What the?"

Before the three could react, the object suddenly hit Velvet on the chest and she flew back from the force. "Oh no!" yelled Applejack with worry. The ice sprites quickly rushed to her aid to tend to her.

"ވ‎އަ‎ޓ‎މ‎އޮރ‎, އާ‎ރ‎ ޑ‎އު‎ އޮ‎ކއެޖ‎?" the sprites squeaked with worry. The sprites and two mares gathered around the fallen reindeer only to see a familiar object resting on her chest; the element of Generosity.

"Oh wow, what a rush." the reindeer doe quickly shot up awake. She looked at the object that hit her. "How tacky."

Applejack and Rainbow Dash were too stunned to say a word.

Suddenly, the air ship rocked violently from the force of an explosion. "What the?!" exclaimed Applejack as she fell to the floor. The three quickly got up and looked over the edge to see the caribou army down below firing what appeared to be an anti-aircraft cannon.

"Fire!" yelled a commanding officer as the troops fired the weapon on command. The projectile was shot into the air and exploded with great force near the airship.

"They're so dead!" angrily growled Rainbow Dash who was ready to dive down and exact her revenge but Applejack quickly tackled her to the floor. "HEY!"

"Are ya crazy Dash?" exclaimed the orange mare. "Ya can't take them on yerself with all those fancy weapons they have!"

"What do you expect me to do then?!" Dash snapped back. "Sit back and let them shoot us out of the sky?!"

"Leave it up to me girls!" smirked an overtly confidence Velvet who's antlers began to glow. She began to twist and twirl her way over to the bow of the airship before she let out an endless stream of icicles down below. The icicles flew down and landed on the ground like bullets. All the caribou quickly dodged out of the way, others were not quick enough.

Dainn shielded himself from behind a hovercraft. "Great, they have the reindeer with them." he said in a slightly annoyed tone to his spotter. "That egotistical whore." he growled. He turned to his spotter only to see that he was dead from a icicle to his heart. "Damn it!" he quickly got up and calmly walked over to the soldiers manning the anti aircraft gun. He was unfazed by the icicles that nearly hit him.

The soldiers cowered behind the weapon until Dainn grabbed one of them by the neck. "Sir?!"

"We're caribou damn it! Not cowards!" he growled. "Now do your damn jobs and blow them out of the sky!"

"Y-yes sir..." he stuttered before he got his troops together. One of the soldiers grabbed opened a box with a different projectile and gave it to the weapons master. "Using the altitude charge!" he yelled to his soldiers before giving it to the weapon's loaders.

"Set the height at 1 kilometer!" he yelled as the soldiers turned a nob on the projectile to that setting before they loaded it into the barrel.

"That should keep them busy for a while." smirked Velvet. "Velvet, you are too damn fine for this." she praised herself.

Applejack just rolled her eyes with annoyance. "She's worse than Rarity sometimes"

Suddenly, the weapon fired and the projectile flew up into the air and pierced the balloon before it exploded. The ship was immediately caught in a giant fireball caused by the flammable gas used in the balloon and slowly crashed to the ground.

Dainn saw the whole thing through his binoculars. "They landed about 3 kilcks north of us, get a search party together and capture the survivors, if there are any." he calmly ordered. Several of his troops saluted before they marched off to the crash site.

Luna reached her destination and got herself ready to teleport home. But something soon caught her eye, she saw an object fly towards her. "Huh? This is new?" she commented with confusion.

The object suddenly flew past her and hit something else. "OW!" yelled a new voice.

Luna turned to see a young calf on the floor, with the object resting on her chest. She examined the object only for her face to drop from the shock. "Oh no..." she stepped back. "...this is not good at all..."

Luna knew that there could only be one reason why an element would find a new wielder; one of them got corrupted by the dark forces. Her worst fears are becoming true.
