“Thank you both very much for coming,” Said Twilight as she did her best to do the “royal strut” that Rarity had shown her.

“Yes,” said Twilight, delighted at the DJ’s enthusiasm. “However there are a few of your pieces my friends and I really enjoy, and we would ask that you work the lists into your performances.”
“It would be our pleasure,” said Octavia with a slight bow.
“The lists are upstairs in the study,” twilight motioned up the staircase with her hoof. “If you would follow me.”
The three mares walked up the stairs and through the halls. There was a room for each of the six mares whom had thrones in the rotunda at the center of the castle. Each were the same size indicating that they each were as important as the other. However, none of the rooms were occupied. Each of the other mares was still tending to their lives in Ponyville. The group walked to the end of the hall. Twilight opened the set of double doors with a spell. “Well there are a few works that discuss it a little, but I was not able to find any books about the topic specifically.”
“Well that sucks,” complained the DJ.
“Well as one of the leaders of the genre, perhaps you might consider writing a book on the subject.”

Twilight interrupted, “If you are ever interested, please come talk to me. I can help you, and I know several publishers throughout Equestria who would easily contract any new work that I indorsed. It would be a great boost to the music community, so I would just ask that you consider the idea.”
Vinyl nodded and the group continued. Finally, they got to a small door along the wall of the library. The interior of the room had several book shelves that had various book lining them. Each had at least two or three scraps of notes between the pages. On the floor were stacks of books that two had notes in the pages. At the center was a large wooden desk littered with scrolls, quills, and ink wells. In one corner was a bed.
“What’s with the bed?” asked Vinyl.
“It’s just a place to crash after late work sessions,” explained the princess.
“Very convenient,” said the DJ. She winked at Octavia, who gave her a scolding look back.
“So let me find that list,” said Twilight as she walked over to the desk. She put her fore hooves on the desk to search the surface.
“Your highness, your wounded,” Twilight turned to see the small burn that Spike’s wakeup call had left.
“Oh it’s ok,” the alicorn said looking back to the desk. “When you live with a dragon you get used to it.”
Octavia didn’t show any more concern after this explanation. Vinyl, however, approached the princess. “Well you should never let wounds like that just sit,” said Vinyl in a jokingly concerned tone.
Twilight was too into her search for the list of songs to realize vinyl’s tone. “Well if it’s still there tomorrow, there is a simple spell I know to clear it up.”
“Well I know a super-fast remedy for any small boo-boos like this one,” Vinyl was directly behind Twilight’s plot now.
“What would that be?” asked the princess.
