My Little Pony: Friendship Is Worth A Chance
A Series Of Adventurous Events: The Ironic Beginning
Previous ChapterI am now using my mind as my new, permanent journal. Pretty cool, huh? Now my hooves won't hurt so darn bad, due to muscle cramps. I sure do miss Mr. Book; but I gave a new friend: Brainy. Sounds weird, doesn't it? Well technically my brain comes uo with all of the thoughts and words that I write on my journal entries... so yeah. Alfanzo, meet Brainy. Brainy, meet Alfanzo. We'll be the best of friends - just like Mr. Book.
But any who, I made a saddlebag to carry the stuff I need for my adventurous adventure. I thought I already said this, but I packed some fruit, a sheet of cloth (used as a blanket for when I rest), and a handmade canteen. The bad news is that I have to find a body of water of fill the canteen. I get my water from the ferocious storms; but the tall, decaying trees make it look like its just a simple rain shower. Trust me. By the sound of thunder, it indicates if its gonna be a calm shower, or a harsh storm.
So I got a last good look of my home in a tree. For at least thirteen years I've been living in this dump, but now I'll be living in a better home that's NOT in a tree.
I kissed the floor and said, "Good bye, tree." I slowly started to head for the doorway, but I turned my head to get a one last glance of my humble home.
One last glance. Oh... my... GOD! I'm like my parents. They caught one last glance of me before the exited the hospital room. What have I become? A monster? My god, get this image out of my head! I walked towards a broken wall, and smashed my head to try to clear my memory. I've tried and tried several times to refresh my baffled head; but all I get was a broken, fragmented head. I started to feel lassitude all over my aching body, indicating that it has had enough with my brain. My body knew that it was time to start a new faze of my life: me meeting the outside world.
I gulped a few times, as they rushed down my arid veins, speeding across my depressed blood cells. I went away from the wall and faced the doorway. I took one step forward and two steps back... and then I ran like a cheetah.
My body felt the adrenaline coming into me. My heart began pounding like a jack hammer. I've began to get muscle cramps for the first time in my life. My pumped up body ran to the doorway as I leaped to glory. And then, I was out of my home, and into the damp forest.
I yelled: "Get ready for this!"
I could feel it now. By Joe, I can feel it. My depressed, black blood cells are being replaced by bright red blood cells as I ran like a speeding ballad, an erratic drum beat was emitted from my heart as my conscience was being restored. I ran on the ruined path, ran like a galloping horse that was trotting across a wide field of freedom. That horse will be me, I will trot across a field of freedom - with a whole new body - with a whole new experience. I WILL be free.
I ran like a speeding train across the vague forest, heading for that open dot in the horizon straight ahead. That dot can only point out one thing: freedom. Me heart felt like it was clogged up with blood, as if it was go BOOM or something like that. So I slowed down my speedy pace, and ran in a steadily kind of pace. My heart felt better by then. I realized something: the closer and closer I get to freedom, the more pain I get around my exquisite body. Its like body wasn't built for this kind of event. Maybe because I haven't ran in like, years. Wow. I'm a lazy bum.
But I forgot about my lazy-self as the dot drew closer and closer, bigger and bigger. Slowly, I can feel light entering my body. My darkened body was about to feel the power of light. Heck with it! I am the light! I control my light! I will escape this horrifying place, and walk into the free! It's good to be me, cause I'm FREE!
At that moment I began to sing a song as I ran to victory:
I'm being free
in the wind
in the wind
free to be me, in the wind
in the wind
What would it feel like to be new again
and get a second chance
into the me, into the free
into this brand new world
felt so constrained, felt so in pain
but now I'm breaking out and
I'm going out
to the free
to the free
free is being me
I am free
I am free
I'm feeling free
in my life
in my life
free to be me
let me free
I am free
I'm free...
At that moment I realized that I've broken the invisible barrier that was created by the souls of my parents. The pony was right, I am being tenacious. Yea! Nothing can stop me at this rate! I just sang a song for the first time in my life and I WON'T be stopped by a bad image anymore. I wasn't lacking verisimilitude no more. I represent like hood. I represent me. I represent... my future.
I saw the sun shining from gaping holes from the trees. Light possessed my body once more as I approached the exit of the forest. But as soon I was about to be free... I halted my hooves, causing me to trip over a tree stump that was glued shut to the ground. I got up and regained control of my hooves.
Why? Why can't I come out? I'm standing right at the edge of the darkened shadow that borders the light of freedom. The pony was wrong! The barrier is is still here. That was a really heinous hallucination. But for the heck of it, I'll try it. I put my top left roof out of the shadows very gingerly. And I saw it: my hoof was half dark and half bright. I was in awe of this amazing sight. At that moment, I directed my hoof to the light. And I saw it. One of my hooves was shining bright by the sun.
Odd. This can't be right. I'm stuck behind this barrier. Alright then, barrier. If you wanna play games, then let's play games. I put my top right hoof this time onto the light. For a second it has half dark and half bright. And then it was one-hundred percent covered with light. My entire body was half enveloped with darkness and brightness. I now put my gasping face up into the light, trying to force the other part of my body to join the the glamorous light.
Then... at the same time... my two back hooves crunched together, and forced me to walk a few steps more. And now I was covered in light. One-hundred percent pure light. It is official: I am free! I took one last glance at the forest, gave a nasty kind of look, turned back to the original direction I was facing, and I started my epic adventure to find out who I am, and to find some pony to find me and comfort me.
No more living in pain - no more living in sorrow - no more living in fear. You are a free man, Alfanzo. You are officially considered a free man.
