The Mask of Friendship

In the time before time, the Great Spirit Mata Nui created us, the Matoran, and gave us three virtues: Unity, Duty, and Destiny.  In honor of these gifts, we named our island home "Mata Nui," after the Great Spirit himself.

However, the Makuta struck down Mata Nui, forcing him into a deep slumber.

Meanwhile, a very similar event was happening in a world known as "Equestria," where ponies spoke like Matoran.  Six heroes known as the "Elements of Harmony" defeated the evil that was threatening their home.

However, no one could have ever expected what was to happen...
