//-------------------------------------------------------// Descent into Insanity -by Prince Harmony- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Gesture of Kindness, leading to insanity //-------------------------------------------------------// A Gesture of Kindness, leading to insanity It was a cold morning evening in Ponyville, I blue stallion began his usual morning routine. He was an owner of a soup kitchen for the homeless ponies in town. As he prepared the soup for the morning arrivals he began to feel strange. Dismissing it as a case of the morning butterflies he went on his way. As the first arrivals came in he began to plate his soup up. As more ponies were fed though he felt even stranger. As he got the soup for lunch ready a small gray filly walked in. She was the daughter of one of his usual patrons. He asked her, “What is with the long face sweetie?” She replied, “Mr. Helping Hand, Can you help me take some soup to my mom?” In worry for her mom he asked, “What is wrong with her?” She replied, “She has broken her legs in a fall. She can’t move, please can you help us.” Knowing it was important to keep her mom fed so she can recover, he asked her, “Where is she?” The filly replied, “In boarded up cottage that used to owned by Fluttershy.” He began to pack up a large container of soup for them to have. As he did so, the feeling began to get worse. He took a bottle of medicine from his cabinet and took two cold medicine capsules. The two then set off for the cottage, as they walked they saw bones of all sizes along the way to the cottage. One of which made the stallion shudder in fear. It was the skull of a young unicorn. As they entered the building they could smell something cooking, he wondered what was cooking. By the way it smelled it was vegetable stew. He entered and saw her sitting on a chair trying to cook it. He walked over and saw that it was red, with brown chunks in it. He asked, “Can I help cook this?” She replied, “Of Course.” As the soup cooked it smelled even better. As it was finished he plated it up. He asked, “May I have a bowl as well?” She gave him a nod, and he dished himself a bowl. As he ate it is was amazing, he was curious as to what was cooking. But all of a sudden he felt a strange feeling come over him. He asked as he eyed the two up hugrily, “What was the special ingredient?”
