Galen wiped the sweat away from his mane, panting from the amount of heavy lifting he had just done. He grabbed a lemonade as he watched his family finish packing up the truck. Soon, his father walked over to him and told him that it was "for the better".
Yeah, right.
This was the fourth time his family moved somewhere different in the month. He was not exactly the happiest when he heard that they were moving for the first time and he definitely wasn't happy the forth time. Why did he have to be in this family!
"Why do we keep moving?" Galen asked his mother. Sadly he already knew the answer to that stupid question.
"You know the answer to that question. Your fathers work takes us around the world. Just think about it; your new friends will be so jealous of you because you've lived in Canterlot!"
"Yeah, for two days, eleven minutes and thirty-eight seconds."
"That's surprisingly accurate."
"Well, when you go paranoid over moving, it's starts to form a habit."
"Is there a girl?" A voice said. Galen knew the origin of the voice. It was his father.
"What?"
"Is there a girl here that you like or not?"
Galen sighed. He knew that he had to tell his father the truth.
"Maybe?"
"Son, your sixteen! Girls will come and go but family is forever." Galen became furious.
"Why can't you quit your stupid job so the rest of us can have a life!" He yelled at his dad. His family looked at him in shock. No way would Galen ever raise his voice at his parents. He watched there faces turn from shock to anger.
"Now, son-" His father was cut off by Galen galloping away.
"Cain, just let him go for now." Galen's mom said.
"Why can't he be more like me and you," Cain asked jokingly. "The absolute perfect couple."
"You're calling us perfect? We almost got divorced after I found out about your... Job"
"Oh yeah, Cain the evil bank manager! Oh no!"
"You know what I mean."
meanwhile...
"They just don't understand," Galen thought. "They've never met Chrystal..." Just thinking about her made him melt. Chrystal Glass was a mare at the age of 15 with fur the color of polished sliver and a lavender mane. She met him one morning, asking him for change. Galen bought the stunning mare the entire meal, setting him back eighteen bits. He needed to say goodbye at least once before leaving her.
When he got to the house, no one was in the living room or the kitchen. So he helped himself in.
"This is weird, there's usually someone here." Galen thought. All of the sudden he heard a mare crying.
"Chrystal?" He yelled "Chrystal!!"
"She's not here, Galen." The pony that was crying said.
"Where is she, Mrs. Glass?"
"She's... Dead."
"Wha... How... Who..." He couldn't seem to get the words out. His favorite mare was now dead.
"A stallion... raped her and then killed her." Mrs Glass said trembling.
"Who!!!"
"His name is Buck Trough and he's pretty proud of himself."
"I'll be back, Mrs.Glass. He's gonna pay."
"Galen, one request."
"Yes?"
"Torture that son of a b-"
"Will do." Galen said as he walked out of the house. He had a Buck to find...

It wasn't hard to find him, cause he was the talk of the town. All he had to do was follow the growing crowd.
"... And then she started kicking and screaming, while yelling 'More, please more!'. So I started to lick her neck while..."
This sickened Galen. He started to make his way to the front of the crowd, pushing stallions and mares out of the way until he found his way to the front of the mass.
"Are you Buck Trough?"
"Yeah, wanna here the story about how i ra-" He was cut off by the stallion kicking him off his little throne.
"Hey, what gives?"
Galen started to stomp on the pegasus' wings while stabbing him with a knife. He knocked all circulation out of the wings then started beating him untill he bled. When he could tell that the life was knocked out of him, he took the knife and slit his throat.
"Take that, you narcissistic beast." Galen said as he fled the scene. Everyone was shocked and stunned about the actions that just took place. He galloped home untill he got to the truck.
"Are we ready?"
"Yeah, we've been waiting on you. Where have you be-" His father was cut off
"Let's get out of this hell-hole."
They got in the truck an puttered away, awaiting whatever adventure bestowed them in the new town;
Ponyville...
Galen watched out the window as his family went down the road. He did what he usually did to entertain himself; Think about his life.
"Okay, where to start... I'm a colt at the age of sixteen. Good start. I, uh, have white fur and a light grey mane. I want to be an archer when I grow up. I want to settle down with a family with 3 little kids and I want a beautiful wife who's not afraid of anything and a thrill-seeker. I also... Want..." Galen dosed off while his family kept puttering down the road to a new life.
"Are you sure he will be safe here?" Galen's mother asked.
"Mary, he's gonna be with Fluttershy. He won't be able to walk five feet away without a helmet and a leash."
"I hope you're right..."
