Chapters She was nervous. Ponies kept looking at her. She couldn't tell why, though. Was it her silvery mane glowing in Luna's night? Or was it her cutie mark resembling the pyramid of power constellation? She tried to think, but she still had a mind-numbing headache from when she asked the pink one for directions.
"She wouldn't quit talking…. Ugh. I hope my life never relies in her hooves…." She pondered to herself.
"Tree house… tree house…. She lives in a tree? I hope she has a good ladder…."
She was plain awestruck when her 'tree house' was actually a house inside of a tree. The irony hurt her horn.
"Not as bad as the headache….," she thought to herself. She reached a hoof out for the door. Sweat built up under her coat. She had heard so many things about Twilight Sparkle, either from Trixie, or her mother.
They all describe her in the same way; a beautiful purple unicorn with magic powers that could best even Celestia's. She turned the handle and pushed.
Nothing. No budge. Not even an inch.
"LOCKED," she screamed, "HOW COULD IT BE LOCKED?!" She stomped rapidly and swore Celestia's name in a fit of rage. It was only after she calmed down a bit she noticed something stuck to her hoof.
"Oh?" she said. After clearing her throat, she read aloud.
"Welcome, one and all! Equestria's greatest vet and the newest member of the Wonderbolts are getting married! Anyone is invited, except for evil scary ones like Queen Meanie or that Griffon or…." She placed a hoof to her head. Pinkie Pie was written all over this. Literally. After skipping a few lines of cupcake-induced gibberish, she continued to dictate the letter.
"…so if you aren't one of those, see the happy couple get married at dusk, today!"

"You simply look divine, darling," Rarity said to Fluttershy, sporting her latest dress.
"It's perfect Rarity… I've never felt happier….," Fluttershy said, clapping her hooves together in joy.
"It's not the dress that's making you joyous, it's the soon to be Mrs. Dash," Rarity said with a wink. Fluttershy squeaked in a mixture of fear and happiness. Rarity couldn't help but let a chuckle escape.
"Go get 'er, girl," Responded Applejack, who had been quietly smiling the whole time. Fluttershy gave her a hug, tears gently strolling down her cheeks.
"Thanks, you guys…" and she was gone. Rarity sighed. It was such a beautiful sight, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. They were cute friends, an adorable couple, and now? She laughed at her own thoughts. Everything was perfect. The lights, decorations. All done by her, of course. Not a penny out of place. It was per-
"YEAH! CUTIE MARK CRUSADER MARRIAGER-people?" Sweetie Belle stopped mid-cheer. "Seriously? Am I the only one who thinks this is a good idea?"
Scootaloo groaned. She hated weddings. She was only there for Rainbow Dash. Applebloom was drug along by Applejack, but she seemed okay with the whole wedding thing. It was only Sweetie Belle that seemed to be breaking her back about it. Rarity looked at her sister with a smile.
"It's okay Sweets. You did a good job with the decorations" Rarity stifled, trying hard to make it not sound like a lie. With her back leg she shoved away a trashcan full of tangled ribbons and banners in multiple colors.
"I did good! Yaay! Maybe I can decorate Pinkie's wedding!" Sweetie Belle yelled in joy.
"Actually, I think you shouldn- PINKIE PIE IS GETTING MARRIED, TOO?" Rarity said. She gasped and passed out.
"Wait, Pinkie's getting' married too?" Applebloom said to her friend, whom was busy trying to keep Scootaloo from poking Rarity's unconscious body.
"Yeah, and lucky her is getting to marry Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy." Sweetie Belle said with a huff.
"Silly Sweetie, she not getting married, she's going to make Rainbow and Fluttershy married."
"Ooooohhhh"
"WAIT. Pinkie's going to be the pastor?" Applejack said to her sister.
"Apparently. Why?"
"Ah just realized that ah gotta go and uh… Stay here."
"Can do, AJ!" responded an enthusiastic Scootaloo.

"Now remember, Rainbow Dash, you must break the light barrier to get this right. The light barrier. You sure you can pull it off?" Twilight said, a little worried.
"I got this, Twi. You should be the careful one. Pinkie's chest is itchy." Rainbow responded.
"Somepony's going to fall in looooooove!" Pinkie said, bouncing around in circles around Rainbow Dash. Derpy and Dinky Hooves applauded whilst chewing on some of Pinkie's muffins. Twilight blushed. Love? She experienced love once before, and it didn't turn out nicely. She tried to hold back the tears when memories of the accident flew in…
Twilight shook her head. Tonight was Rainbow's night. Not hers for grievance. Tonight will be a night of love and passion. A little too much passion is they follow Pinkie's plan for the wedding.
"Pinkie, can they do that on the stage, in front of everypony?" Twilight said.
"Duh, of course! I mean, I've done it beforelikeahundredtimesanditwasSOOOOfunand-" Pinkie said, speaking at faster and faster speeds, still bouncing circles around Derpy and Dinky.
"Pinkie, slow down! You're going to spill Derpy's muffin basket!" Interrupted Twilight.
"It's okay Twilight, Muffin can float them. Go ahead, try." Derpy said to her daughter.
"Blueberry, my favorite! Good job Muffin!" she hugged her daughter.Dinky giggled in delight. Applejack burst through the door.
"PINKAMENA DIANE PIE! Ah thought ah told ya not to put THAT on tha ta-do list for Fluttershy!"
"And why can't Rainbow Dash be on her to-do list?" Pinkie said, head turned and arms folded.
"You're kidding, right?"
"Don't underestimate Pinkie." Rainbow Dash said from across the room.
"See? She understands me." Pinkie said
"So you're saying that yur fine with Pinkie putting that on the list?" The farm pony said, eyebrow raised.
"NO!-I mean, uh-Maybe, I mean…" Her face was redder than Big Macintosh's.
"It's okay girl. Ah understand."
"So you're a f-" Rainbow Dash said, interrupted by Applejack.
"No. Ah ain't like that. But Ah've been in love before. It's normal."
Rainbow's face was still red. Twilight giggled. It was cute. First Lyra and Bon Bon, then Rainbow and Fluttershy. She'd be here if Trixie hadn't…. no. No, no, no. Don't think about her. Not now. Why was she thinking so much about Trixie? She felt as if the same special magic that Trixie had was near. The weirder thing is, it also feels like the magic Luna uses. This is just strange, even for her.
Twilight faded back into reality. Applejack and Pinkie Pie were still arguing. Rainbow was perfecting her aeronautic maneuvers in a wedding dress. Derpy and Dinky were, well…. Being Derpy and Dinky.
"Glad to see everything's still normal…." She thought.
The door suddenly swung open. A silvery white unicorn walked in.
"Hi, I'm Shining Silver, I'm looking for Twilight Sparkle. Is she in here?"
"I'm up here!" Twilight called. She ran downstairs, eager to meet this new visitor. She stopped halfway downstairs due to almost bumping into Silver.
"Hehe. Sorry." She pointed her hoof upstairs.
"Care to meet my friends?" Twilight said unusually happier than normal. She didn't even know why she felt good. She hadn't felt this happy since-
Oh no. She knows who Silver reminds her of. She jumped back, and held her head in her hooves as the memories flew back in.
It was a cool, breezy summer afternoon. Twilight was preparing to go see her marefriend's performance. Spike was packing her things, gnawing on a gem at the same time. She pulled out her checklist.
Food? Check. Roses? Check. Perfume? She bent down and sniffed herself. Check.
"Okay Spike, I'm leaving! Have a good time alone." She said as she trotted out the door. Twilight could see Trixie's stage, prepped and everything. A small crowd had gathered also. She smiled and ran over to it. The show had just started to begin.
"Come one! Come all, as I, the Great and Powerful Trixie Sparkle-" Trixie said. Twilight blushed. "-Will tell you the amazing tale of the purple mare, and the 9 headed sea dragon!"
Oohs and aahs were murmured by the crowd. Trixe used her magic to create images while telling her story. Her tale was an obvious recreation of the adventure Twilight and her friends went on, but Twi enjoyed Trixie's performance.
"And when he opened his nine mouths, all of them exploded with fire!" The magic images showed the dragon's fire breath spread out over the sky. The audience cheered and applauded. The fire grew, and more excitement spewed from the crowd. Trixie enjoyed this. Never had she had so many adoring fans. So she did the first thing any showmare would do. Increase the flame even more!
Yet this time, it was greeted by horror.
"Her hat!" Lyra yelled. "It's on fire!" She was right. Her hat had caught fire. Trixie screamed and threw her hat down on the stage. Her magic lost all control and the entire stage erupt into flames.
"TWILIGHT!" Trixie screamed to her lover. "Use the metal from the rooftops to cover the stage in a dome. The fire wont spread!" Trixie was already moving bits and pieces to create such a dome. Twilight was hesitant at first, but ultimatley she agreed. Using hers and Trixie's magic, the dome was built. Trixie and the raging fire were left inside.
The next morning, the fire had welded the dome into one piece. Nopony bothered to open it, her fate was more than obvious.
When Twilight's mind returned to the present, she was sobbing heavily on Shining Silver's shoulder. She stopped instantly, semi embarrased. Silver only smiled.
"I heard. It's okay, at least you made it out alive, right?" Silver said. Twilight only responded with a sniffle and a blush. Silver sighed.
"I have news from Cantlerlot. Something bad is about to happen. Right now, let's get this marriage started." Shining Silver said. Twilight nodded.
Far away...
'A long time ago, it ruled. It was defeated. Not too long ago, it ruled again. It again was defeated. And now? It's a solid stone memorial of failure.' the figure thought.
"It's funny, actually. You could control everything, yet you let six little insects crush you. Why was that, my king? Why must your arrogance beat you?" The figure smiled as it broke open the statue, releasing what's inside.
"You're not going anywhere." The figure smiled.
"And here I was, hoping for something along the lines of "Welcome back Discord, it's a pleasure to see you my old friend". Honestly Celestia, you and your antics have just about made me want to go back into that statue."
"Would you like to?" Celestia smirked. Discord sighed.
"What's the plan?"
Celestia looked outside at her sister sitting on the balcony. The purple gem on her necklace glew softly.
"No, not now....too soon...," she practically cooed to it. Her expression sterned. She walked out to where Luna quietly weeped. She was shocked at her older sister approaching her.
"OH! Tia, we were just-"
"Ssshhh," Celestia said, "Not now. Your pains can be fixed, you know."
"THEY HATE US! THEY DONT UNDERSTAND US, OR HOW WE FEEL! WE DOUBT IF SHE EVEN LOVES US!" Luna said (in royal canterlot voice, as tradition), eyes glowing and tears streaming down her eyes.
"Listen, Luna. Some ponies may hate you. Some may want to kill you. Not me." Celestia said. Luna kept crying. Celestia tensed. How could her sister, a princess, be crying like a little filly who spilled her milk? She groaned. The gem glowed again. She looked down in disapproval.
"Tia, do you think she loves us?" Luna said through her tears.
"Why of course she does, Luna. But before you go to the wedding to find out, I have a gift for you." Luna wasn't all too sure that she was right, but she could have sworn she saw something moving in the dark behind Celestia.
"A gift? Really?" Luna said, a bit more cheerfully. Only when she got her gift was she less satisfied. Two red eyes opened behind Celestia and the figure slithered out of the dark. Luna slowly walked back in disbelief.
"D-d-d-dis....Dis-dis..." Luna stuttered.
"Oh you mean hubbie? Yes, he's here to give you your..present." Celestia said.
'No! No, No, NO! Discord and Celestia.... Discord? DISCORD? The necklace was glowing. The 7th element? SHE FOUND IT? This is bad! Very, VERY bad!' Luna thought
Discord slashed at Luna with his claws. She bucked him in the face and knocked him back.
"Oh, Luna, that's not how your accept a gift POLITELY!" Celestia hissed. She tried to stab Luna with her horn. Discord got up again and started to move toward them. Luna panicked. So she did the only thing she thought to do. Using her magic, she dislodged the balcony from the castle. It went hurtling downward. Luna, with tears in her eyes, flew off from it.
"Should I go and get her?" Discord asked.
"No, not yet. There is one thing I want you to do, though. Remind the Elements of Harmony who their REAL ruler is." Celestia said.
"Of course, my queen." Discord responded.
"No. Not Queen. Not yet. For formality's sake."
"Oh, you and your formalities." Discord said as he disappeared. Celestia looked back down at her necklace.
"Very soon... it will be ours....The entire world.....ours."
"You may now kiss the mare!" Mayor Mare said to the awaiting couple. Fluttershy was hesitant at first, being the cute shy thing she is. Lucky for her, Rainbow found this adorable. Rainbow scooped her up, and lifted her up in the air.
"Don't forget I love you. Mrs. Fluttershy, may I have the honor?" Rainbow cooed. Fluttershy giggled.
"You already have it." Fluttershy leaned in deeply and kissed Dash. Dash pressed her lips strongly against Fluttershy, and world seemed to melt around her. It was only her and her mare. Fluttershy broke the kiss. Fluttershy's blue eyes were like sapphires. Rainbow smiled.
The crowd erupted into an applause. Twilight, Silver, and Rarity ran up onto the stage to congratulate the newly married mares.
"Did you see that trick?" Bon Bon said to Lyra, who was sitting next to her.
"How could I miss it? That thing was like, 20% cooler than the one she used to get into the Wonderbolts!"
Rainbow Dash overheard this, and asked for a piece of paper. She quickly scribbled something down.
"Hey Lyra!" Rainbow yelled over the crowd. Lyra and Bon Bon both turned and looked. Rainbow Dash threw the flowers at them. Lyra caught it with her magic, as usual. Inside, a note was carefully tucked. Lyra looked at it and giggled.
'I said the same thing' - RD, the Wonderbolt.
"Hey, where's Pinkie Pie?" Rainbow asked. Fluttershy was asleep on her back, still in her wedding dress. Twilight looked back and forth. She was gone. Strange, considering Pinkie Pie would party until the place crashes down. Literally. It's happened many times before.
This time, Rarity was the one who spoke up.
"She was heading back to Sugarcube Corner. Heaven knows why. The weird thing was that she was as white as I was, flat hair included."
"Oh no, not THIS again." Rainbow groaned. "I'll get her She seems to prefer it if I do it. Weird." Rarity lifted Fluttershy from Rainbow's back and rested her on her's. Rarity headed back towards her shop, a presumed mess thanks to the 'Cutie Mark Crusader Wedding Afterparty Planners.'
Rainbow Dash flew over to Sugarcube Corner. The night was beautiful, and quiet. A bit too quiet. She shrugged it off as being yet another natural occurence. She slowed down as she approached the front door. Rainbow knocked on the door.
Mrs. Cake opened the door. She wasn't happy.
"She's inside. You messed up big time, Mrs. Dash." Her expression was stern.
"Me? I haven't done anything....."
"Don't you lie to me. She's been in her room for an hour CRYING and constantly repeating 'Why Rainbow why?'" Rainbow was honestly confused. What has Rainbow Dash done that would have upset Pinkie?
Dash ignored the fact Mrs. Cake was standing there and sped upstairs. Rainbow Dash could hear the crying. Rainbow is no expert on love, but she could tell if a person's tears were sadness or heartbreak. This, was obvious heartbreak.
"Pinkie?" Rainbow said quietly.
"GO AWAY MRS. CA- Rainbow Dash?" Pinkamena yelled, depression could be heard from a mile away.
"Pinkie, I wanted to talk to you." Rainbow opened the door. She's handled with Pinkamena before, but this time. This was different. Like Rarity said, pure white. All color had left her body, excluding her mane, cutie mark, and eyes.
"Pinkamena, what's wrong?" Rainbow asked. She obviously had no clue. Pinkamena only chuckled as she arose from her tear-stained bed.
"You have no idea, do you?" Pinkamena Diane said. "Think. What did you do today?"
Rainbow stopped and pondered.
" I ate some roast beef, some chicken, a pizza....."
"LATER THAN THAT" Pinkamena yelled. Rainbow stopped and thought again.
"I ate roast beef, chicken, and a pizza....."
"NO! LATER THAN THAT! JUST NOW. OUT THERE!" She said, flailing around and pointing her hoof towards the stage. Rainbow got it now.
"I married.... Fluttershy?" She said, not completely sure.
"Finally, she gets it right!" Pinkamena said, Gummy with an uninterested stare riding on her back.
"Why does this.....hurt you?" Rainbow asked again, still unsure.
"Somepony is dumber than I thought." Pinkamena replied, adding a facehoof for good measure.
"Pinkie, what's wrong with y-" Her sentence was cut short by the pure whire Pinkie Pie kissing her. Rainbow retailiated, trying to break free. Pinkie kept going, kissing harder. Rainbow gained enough will to push her away.
"Pinkie, you....you love me don't you?" Rainbow said, putting the pieces of the puzzle together. Pinkamena only responded with a sniffle. Rainbow Dash backed off. She couldn't handle this. She just couldn't handle - WHAM. Something hit her on the head. With that, she fainted.
Dash awoke with a jump. Where was she? A hospital. She got that. Wait, why is Fluttershy there?
"Dash..... Nice to see you're awake. You suffered a pretty hard hit to the head. When we found you, blood was everywhere. I'm so happy you're okay!" She reached her hoof out and held onto Dash's.
"Fluttershy....where's Pinkie?" Dash said. Fluttershy sighed.
"Here's the sad part. She's gone. According to reports, headed for Canterlot." Dash was struck with confusion. Canterlot?
"I'm glad I have you now, Dash...." Fluttershy gently landed in the hospital bed with Rainbow Dash. "Can we act like we used to when we dated? We just cuddled. I want that...." Flutter gentle nuzzled Dash. Rainbow smiled.
"Only for you." Rainbow felt Fluttershy's hooves wrap around her, and she smiled. Rainbow smiled, but there was something
"Hello Mrs. Dash. I'm new here, just call me Dr. Q" A stallion doctor said, as he entered the room.
"Okay, Mr...Q? Alright. What's the diagnosis?" Dash said, holding onto Fluttershy.
"Well, I am not 100% sure, but I'd say you have a mare sleeping with you." Dr. Q said with a chuckle.
"Well, duh. I know that. Second opinion, please?" Dash said, a bit annoyed.
"Well, it seems like you are suffering huge amounts of depression and homicidal thoughts. The cause is your loyality. Your friend, Pinkie, and her disappearence has gotten you in a bad state. I can fix this instantly." Q said to Dash.
"H-how?" Rainbow said, a bit confused.
"Sign your loyality to the Solar Empire, and to lock away anypony or anyone that defies Celestia." Q said, levitating Rainbow a clipboard. Dash looked at Fluttershy, and back at the paper. She let out a disgruntled sigh. She signed it with her mouth.
Then bad things happened. First off, Fluttershy dissolved into mush. Rainbow screamed. The entire room fell apart, revealing Sugarcube Corner. And finally, Dr. Q also dissolved into...
"DISCORD!" Rainbow said with pure fear. She looked at her own body. The cyan flushed out, leaving only white. Her mane, her mark, everything. The white took her over, and only one thought pierced her mind.
'Celestia will be protected. Luna must die!'
Celestia chuckled.
"Three elements. My, my. You've outdone yourself." Celestia leaned back in her throne as Discord threw a colorless Applejack onto the ground in front of her.
"Mah princess, I will retain full loyality to yah. I even killed five Lunar Repulic soldiers on the way here." She said with her hat to her chest. This only made Celestia laugh harder. How Discord managed to do that, she'll never know. His arrogance limits his abilities. He could have made the world in his literal image. Yet he sits around, getting kicks from playing card houses. Ignorance is bliss. He prooved it. She was tired of him, and hated to have to put up a love act. He was a good lover, she had to admit.
She looked to the window murals. Pictures of the elements of harmony and the pyramid of power dotted each opening. She looked down at her necklace. 4 gemstones were neatly placed inside, each representing elements of harmony. 'Honesty, Loyality, Laughter, and Trust.' Equestria could not comprehend what's in store for it. A simple six part plan is this.
Make up Princess role.
Banish only thing in way for 1000 years.
When (weakened) sister returns, awaken Discord.
Make up Dicord's lover role.
Capture Elements of Harmony and Luna.
Equus Extraho Fusion spell.
She was nearly there. She was halfway done with the elements. Luna has an excellent ruse, though. Nopony knows where she is. Even the godly Celestia didn't know.
Shining Silver was trotting along with Fluttersh- sorry. Mrs. Fluttershy Dash. She was trotting along with Mrs. Fluttershy Dash and Twilight Sparkle. They were in Sweet Apple Acres, looking for Applejack. Silver checked the map. Now,don't get anypony wrong. Twilight and Flutter knew how to get the Sweet Apple Acres, but the picture in the map looked different than the actual farm.
"Umm, Twi? Are the trees supposed to be burnt like that?" Silver said, peering from the map. Twilight sat there in shock. Somepony burnt down Sweet Apple Acres. Who? Who in the wide, wide world of Equestria would do such a horrid crime? A singed Big Mac pushed away some trees that fell on him. Twilight rushed over to his side. It's not like he had any feelings for him other than friendship. She was a fullout fillyfooler. That was the source of her teasing in magic kindergarten. She helped Mac because he may have known the attackers.
"Oh Celestia! Mac! What happened? Who was it? Was it a failed Cutie Mark attempt?" Twilight said, shooting a glare to Applebloom. Mag coughed up burnt tree bark. His left eye had a huge gash in it. FlutterDash shreaked and hid behind Silver. Silver, a tad annoyed, levitated Flutter and some medical supplies over to Mac.
"Fluttershy, you have higher medicinal knowledge than any of us. Could you help?" Silver said, envoking a nod from Flutter, "Now you. Macintosh, I presume. What happened here? Who did this?" Mac coughed up more smoke. Luckily, he was well enough to make words.
"Ya'll ain't gunna believe this..... It was my sis. Big sis. Applejack. Royal guards... That one creature with the many animal parts..... Applejack..... Pure white, no color....." He said, coughing during each pause. He was about to faint then and there, not enough energy to stay awake.
"Granny....I'm commin home...." Mac closed his eyes and lost consciousness. Twilight and Silver gasped.They shook him, smacked him, Air-to-lung spell. Nothing. Yet he was still breathing. Flutter diagnosed him as in a coma-like state. He won't wake up for a minimum of five weeks if he's taken care of. Twilight used a magical spell to call Nurse Redheart. When she arrived, Twi explained everything and Redheart nodded. Mac and Applebloom were rushed to the hospital.
Celestia. She did it again. Another element of harmony was taken and corrupted, this time with more deaths in it's wake. One.. two....three.... At least five funerals would need to be held. As for the animals, well, FlutterDash was too weak to try and find out. Shining Silver leaned over and hugged Twilight. Twi was going through major stress, and she knew it would only be a matter of time before Discord targeted her. For now, they need to group the remaining elements together.
On the way to Rarity's, Silver felt uncomfortable. She felt as if a large amount of chaotic magic ebbed and flowed through the air. The Carosel Boutique was oddly quiet. It normally was bursting with noises of new 'Ideeaaaas!' or complaints aimed towards Sweetie Belle. Not today. Today was quiet. When Twilight was about to open the door, it swung upon and none other than Sweetie Belle her self fell out.
"Twilight! It's Rarity. She's.....different" Sweetie said, trying to stand with an obviously broken front leg. She was dotted with bruises and had a single puncture wound. Luckily, it nowhere even near lethal. She was still hurt, and she said it was Rarity's doing. For curiosity's sake, Twilight walked inside. A knife was magically slingshotted at the wall, nearly missing Twilight.
"GET OUT! This is MY house. MY shop. I don't want YOUR money. Wait. Give ME that money. BUT DON'T EXPECT ANY OF MY DRESSES!" Rarity yelled. Her mane and cutie mark were blank, a pure white. Discord had gotten her too! Her greed was worse than the first Discord attack. Sweetie Belle hobbled back inside. She magically moved Twilight outdoors and shut the door. Silver and Twi both tried breaking it down, but the door was too strong.
Twilight's mane frizzed out a bit. She started laughing.
"You and me Fluttershy, you and me. Silver, if I go, don't stay. I don't want to hurt you. I.... I" Twilight, despite her weakened mental state, still managed to form a blush. She was so sweet. Cute and.... Silver shook it off. Her thoughts should wait until after Discord and Celestia are stopped. Until that happens, Twilight and Fluttershy Dash must be kept safe.
Shining Silver set her letter down with a heavy sigh. It had been a good few weeks here in Ponyville, and things are still normal for anyone who doesn't know the Elements of Harmony. Silver read and re-read her note. She was sure it would help, and she sent it off with a magic spell.
'Dear New Lunar Republic High Council,
Today I want to inform you that the threat level has been raised to "full moon". Four of the six Elements of Harmony are Celestia's murderous slaves. Luckily, Twilight Sparkle is still ponane. She may be able to help us get to the Pyramid of Power. It'll be a hefty journey, given it's odd location. Despite this, it would turn the tables on the war agaist Celestia.
Blazing Bull and Buzz Kill, you two stallions need to stop your pyrotechnicians and bug extermination and move the troops to Canterlot. I want a full on war when I return. You best not dissapoint me.
Shining Silver, New Lunar Republic High Council.'
Twilight Sparkle still had her mane unkempt, and her sanity could be described as the same. She's been over doing herself trying to protect Fluttershy and herself from Discord's hand and talon...thing. Fluttershy can thankfully be described as the same, if not a bit braver. She was a good friend. She also had a golden horseshoe, signifying marriage. That Rainbow Dash pegasi must be really lucky to have a mare like her. Silver had no romantic interest in Flutter. She knew who she liked.
Yeah, liked. You know your true emotions, Silver. Why can't you tell her? Why can't you tell her who you really are...
Twilight had been asleep for quite a while now. Fluttershy decided to stay up, more interested in Twilight's owl than sleep. Silver cantered up to Fluttershy out of curiousity. Shining Silver looked out the window.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Silver said, her eyes focused on the outside. Fluttershy turned.
"What is?" She said in a half-whisper.
"The night sky, Kindness. The stars and the moon." Fluttershy was never really called 'kindness' by anypony other than Dash. She'd been called many things. Weak, frail, small. Kindess was a rarity. Even being the Element of Kindness, she was never really called 'Kindness'. Flutter knew in her heart she had just made a good friend.
"Oh yes, it's absolutely wonderful. Luna does a great job, doesn't she?" She said hovering in the air.
"Yeah, she does." Silver replied.
Fluttershy was a nice pony. Most ponies nowadays are either fretting about bits or cutie marks. Everypony is stressed, and love is gone. Silver turned back to the room Twilight was sleeping in. She sighed, but still smiled. She was so far away from the truth.
"Silver? Are you okay? You keep looking back to Twilight's room." Fluttershy said, ignoring the owl completely. Silver smiled a weak smile. She knew she could trust her. She could trust Fluttershy with the truth.
"Mrs. Dash, Shy. I need to tell you something. It's about me...and Mrs. Sparkle." Silver said with a low tone.
"um, I don't want to be rude, but it's Ms. or Miss Sparkle. Not Mrs. She never married."
"I know, Trixie died. To her knowledge..." Fluttershy popped up and leaned in closer to Silver.
"She's ALIVE?" Shy had a face indescribable by words. It was a mix-mash of rage and curiosity. "WHERE IS SHE? I-if you don't mind me asking.....sorry."
Silver let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. After regaining her exposure, she began to talk.
"Yes, Trixie is alive and is in full medical perfection. However, she is not with us."
"Where is she? The Everfree forest? Zebra lands? The Forbidden Ocean?" Fluttershy said with a drive for more knowledge.
Shining Silver pointed her hoof out the window. Shy dashed towards it, hoping to see Trixie outside, alive and well. Nopony was outside the window.
"Silver, what did you me-" Fluttershy was cut short by Shining Silver's magic moving her head up a few inches. Flutter didn't want to see it, or even think about it. It was the truth though. Tears fell down Fluttershy's face. She had found Trixie, her best friend's one true love. Where was she?
The moon.
Silver held Fluttershy close in a hug.Her tears wet both their coats, and both of them crying. SIlver looked at her new friend.
"I need to show you something also. Whatever you do, do not freak out." Silver stood up and looked at Fluttershy, who responded with a nod.
Silver's horn glew a bright blue, and her body illuminated with a brighter white than her coat. Distinguishable parts formed from the blob of white light. Four legs, a horn, wings. A horn and wings? Silver's horn stopped glowing and her body soon followed.
"Oh, my." Fluttershy said in complete shock.
"Yes, it is we. Princess Luna!" Luna said as her starry mane flew out of place and took for similar to Celestia's. Fluttershy cried tears again. This time, however, these were not the bitter tears of depression. These tears were of joy. Fluttershy hugged Luna.
"Oh my goodness! You've returned!" She said, practically squealing. Luna bent down and hugged her back.
"We never left, Fluttershy. We didn't want to get caught by thine sister's Solar Empire or get Twilight Sparkle in trouble." Luna said looking towards Twi's room again.
"You have a thing for Twilight, don't you, Luna?" Flutter said with a bit of sarcasm in her voice. Luna recoiled, trying to hide the blush on her face.
"Tis a lie! Did thoust imply we love a mare? How absurd and unhealthy! We would never.... I think I should drop the act. How did you know?" Luna said to a smirking yellow pegasus.
"Your wings. Happened to me and Dashie all the time." Flutter said, pointing at Luna's wings. They were straight up, stiff as a rock. This always happened when she thought of Twi. Luna gave a nervous giggle.
"Tell nopon-" Luna looked down at Spike's sleeping body. "No one?" she said, her hoof outstretched.
"Deal." Fluttershy replied, knocking her hoof with Luna's.
It was far past midnight, and Fluttershy and Luna were still up, laughing and acting like two best friends would.
"When did you realize you loved Dashie anyway?" Luna said through a giggle.
"You really wanna know?" Fluttershy said. Luna nodded.
"You really REALLY wanna know?" She said with more emphasis. Luna nodded harder.
"You really REALLY REALL-" Fluttershy was cut short by Luna shoving her hoof in Shy's mouth with a giggle.
"Yes!" She said, still laughing. "I want to know!" Fluttershy giggled too.
"Okay! It all sorta happened about a year ago...."
"The air was warm, the sun was shining, and everypony in Ponyville was having a glorious day.The town square was bustling and crowded and busy ponies filled the streets. All the pony folk seemed tohave somewhere specific to be. All except Rainbow Dash; her place was in the sky.
She tore freelythrough the air, speeding one way and the next, buzzing the tree tops and racing the wind. The blue pegasus swooped over a schoolyard, much to the delight of the children, then climbed several hundred feetand dove, streaking downward as fast as she could. Seconds before hitting the ground, her wings flewopen and she pulled up back into the clear blue. Rainbow felt alive.
Suddenly, Dash remembered that she had somewhere to be; she was supposed to meet with Pinkie Pie in five minutes. Dash had gotten so caught up in her exercises that she’d nearly forgotten that Pinkie had asked to meet her at Sugercube Corner at three. Pinkie hadn’t said why or what they’d be doing, but Dash knew that with Pinkie, it could be anything.
Dash wasn’t sure if she really wanted to go,though. She was so engaged with her stunts that she thought about blowing Pinkie off to continue flying.But, Dash’s conscience got the better of her. She knew that it would hurt Pinkie’s feelings; after all,Pinkie had said it was going to be something special just for the two of them. Dash considered it and thought “why not?” What did she have to lose? Heck, it might be more pranking. Pinkie might have founda bunch more fun stuff to pull on folks, and they’d had so much fun the last time. Dash kicked intooverdrive to make up for lost time, and sped to her appointment.
When Dash walked into the store, she was immediately greeted by her host, who was bouncing inexcitement.
“Yay, you’re here! I’ve been waiting aaall day,” said the jumping pony.
“Sorry if I’m a little late, Pinkie. I was doing my afternoon exercises and lost track of time,” Dash apologized.
Pinkie giggled and responded in a gleefully reassuring tone, “Oh that’s ok, you’re here now.What‘s a few more minutes? I’ve been sooo excited thinking about all fun stuff we’re gonna do, I haven’tstopped bouncing since I woke up. I mean, I almost forgot to breathe I’ve been so happy.” Dash gave a slightly uncomfortable laugh. She had always appreciated Pinkie Pie’s friendly,outgoing way of life, but Pinkie’s overabundant enthusiasm almost creeped her out. Dash maintained a polite expression, however. If Pinkie was this worked up, whatever she had planned must be good.
“So, you ready to get started, Rainbow Dash? I’ve got everything all ready,” the pink pony said.Dash psyched herself up.
“You betcha, Pinkie. So what do ya got planed? We gonna prank somebody? I got a couple of good ones I’ve been thinking about. Or maybe you’ve got some stunts youthink I should try? Or perhaps…”
“MAKING CUPCAKES!” Pinkie happily announced." Fluttershy told.
"Woah, woah, woah." Luna interrupted. "This sounds like that horror story 'Brownies' but with your friends."
"Let me finish, Luna!" Fluttershy giggled.
"Right as they were done putting on the frosting, Rainbow Dash accidentally fell backwards. She was most likely scared of Gummy or something. Anyway, she fell backwards and knocked over a vile of pure rainbow juice. Now, to most ponies, rainbow juice is beyond spicy, and pure rainbow juice is pure acid. However, Rainbow Dash is rainbows in essence. So when she hit pure rainbow juice, she went into this extremely hyperactive state. Twilight coined it 'The Double-Rainbow Effect'.
Rainbow sped through town, performing several, almost endless Sonic and Atomic Rainbooms. She was handing out money to random citizens. All faster than the speed of light. She left Ponyville and flew to my house, and she charged though my front door. I didn't expect her, and it kinda scared me. Still, she swooped me up, held me for about five minutes in her perspective and spoke this exact word.
"SorryifI'mbeinganintrusionbutIalwayswantedtotellyouthatyou'recutebeyondbeliefandIloveyou"
She kissed me for as long as an hour in normal speed. I can't begin to imagine how long it was for her. Normally, this would frighten a little mare like me. But her kiss....was so wonderful. It had heart and feeling. It had love."
Luna stopped and blinked.
"Wow. Nothing like 'Brownies' at all. Hey, you think that SorryifimbeinganintrusionbutIalwayswantedtosaythatyou'recutebeyondbeliefandIloveyou would work on Twi?" Luna asked. Fluttershy only laughed.
While all this fun and laughter was happening downstairs, Twilight was being haunted. In her sleep voices kept talking to her.
"Everything you know is wrong.... Trixie's alive........"
Twilight woke with a jump. Her room was dark, and she could hear the faintest sounds of giggles from downstairs. She was about to go down and check it out, when the door shut. A pair of red eyes glowed in the darkness.
"Evening, Ms. Sparkle." The male voice said. She couldn't see, but she knew the voice had a smirk on his face. Twilight wasn't too happy.
"Get out Discord. I don't want you hurting my friends or any more citizens of Ponyville. I don't know who released you, but I'm sure-"
"Celestia. It was Princess Celestia. She set me free, she made me give her the Elements of Harmony. The white color and total bloodshed attitude was an accidental unintended side effect." Discord said from his corner.
"Wha? She did? I thought Silver was lying...." Twilight said "That cute motherf-" She was cut off again by Discord.
"She did lie. Not about why I'm here, but who she is. Also, save the swearing until after the presentation." Discord threw Twilight some ripped letters. All addressed the same. 'Dear Twilight Sparkle.' They also all had practically the same words. Your beautiful purple coat, those pure and innocent eyes, Twilight, I cannot find out why, but it's the truth. I love you.
All of them. Every single one ended with 'I love you, Twilight Sparkle'.
"Silver wrote these?" She said, scanning all the letters. Discord smiled.
"Yes and no, my dear. She herself didn't write these. Shining Silver is just a persona. You want to know who she really is?" Twilight nodded. She didn't notice her coat lose color in the dark of the night.
"Enjoy." He threw Twilight the other halfs of the papers he ripped up. All of them said 'Love, Luna'.
"Luna? She's princess Luna? The one that's-" Her eye twitched as new thoughtsshot through her skull. "-trying to kill my Princess Celestia? That devil! She thinks she can seduce me? NO! I am CELESTIA'S student. I WILL NOT let her get hurt!"
"Excellent." Discord said with a laugh.
Ever since Luna has returned, Celestia was different. Luna was unincluded from most events, and she had to sneak out to go to Ponyville. Even before then, Celestia had been training the Royal Guard. For thousands of years, she was perfecting them in secret. Far away from any civilization she trained them, hoping to find one soldier that could fight back with some chance of victory. In Luna's returnal, the decandants of the Lunar Republic have formed together outside of Celestia's eye. These colts and mares fight cold blooded, with no mercy for their cause.
Democracy.
The Solar Empire has reigned over many cities for thousands of years. Unicorns and Pegasi of pearl white coats marched through the streets, terrorizing villiages for gold and bits. Yet, these ponies are the ones deemed 'heroes.' While the Lunar Republic is named as the unholy worshippers of the night. Still, they fight for ponies rights. They'ved saved lives from ponies too poor to pay the taxes, ponies without jobs, young fillies and colts. Some villians.
A month ago, Celestia cast her soldiers across Equestria. Primary targest such as Manehattan, Appleloosa, Fillydelphia were capture and converted to the empire. In Germaney, the New Lunar Republic fought a long and hard war, eventually ending with Celestia atomically rainbooming it, wiping it's existance off the map entirely. She has also been collecting the Elements of Harmony the charge her power, and take Equestria from the people who fight for the original law.
A week ago, two stallions managed to stop an attack on Ponyville by trapping the soldiers and using their magic to erase Celestia's spell. Those Solar Legionaries had thier lives back, and they joined the Republic. The two stallions responsible are Buzz Kill and Blazing Bull, two ponies high up in the ranking of the New Lunar Republic, and personal friends of Princess Luna herself. Luna had chosen these two colts to start an all out battle against Equestia, and they were intent on doing just that.
Buzz Kill looked over the horizon. Canterlot was just in view. Below him, Lunar Soldiers donned thier black armor. Blazing Bull moved up to him.
"Brother, what are you doing? Luna officially decrees she wants a war tonight. The Solar Legionaries must be removed so the Princess herself can return to her throne."
"She calls for a war and gets a battle. Our stallions and mares are hardly trained. Most here are just new recuits!" Buzz said to his brother.
"Nopony is a new recuit here. Only men in hooves. We are one republic, and we stand united." he said, placing a hoof on his shoulder. Buzz just flew up a few feet and Bull fell off.
"You have an advantage with those wings of yours." he said, dusting himself off. Buzz chuckled.
"You have an advantage with that horn of yours, brother." Buzz landed on the ground, a bit too cocky. He was young, but he was a fighter. A good one at that.
A mare equipped in light-shifting armor decloaked next to the two brothers. Her name was Obsidian, the pony most skilled in sneaking and espionage in all of Equestria. She shook hooves with both Buzz and Bull.
"Gentlecolts, I am back from Canterlot." She said in her monotonous french accent. She dug a map into the ground showing her location and theirs. She dug more lines into the grass showing the plans of attack. Bull carefully observed her strategy, planning it out. This plan might actually work out. All they need is the cold shrowd of the night sky in which they rule. The only flaw is the extreme amount of Solar soldiers.
"Now, men, I have done some reconnaissance, and I am afraid I have bad news. We have to go to the castle immediately. I'll explain on the way.
Five hours ago...
"So that's how two mares can have a foal." Luna said, a bit shocked.
"Medical science has changed a teensie bit over the last thousand years...." Fluttershy said with a huge blush spread across her face. She was fondling with her hair. Luna didn't noticed she was doing the same with hers. Luna sighed.
"My dearest friend, I need to get over my fears and tell Twilight the truth. I must tell her I love her." Luna said while walking upstairs. Fluttershy quietly nodded before she fell asleep on the cloth designated for her.
Luna walked up the stairs, trying not to wake anyone in the library. Her mind was racing with thoughts and fears. What if she doesn't love her? What if she hates her for this? She was scared, yet at the same time she was content. She was ready. She was in love with Twilight, and was going to make it official. She slowly opened the door to Twilight's room. The entire room was pitch black, and Twilight's gentle snores could be heard.
"Twilight? I didn't mean to disturb you but....." She spoke these words in Shining Silver's voice, and she stealthily morphed back into that form.
"....but what?" Twilight's voice responded from the bedside.
"I'm not who I say I am..." she said, slowly walking towards Twilight. The room was so dark....
"Oh, really?" Twi's voice said in a low, flat tone. The blackness of the room was dark even to Luna.
"I'm Princess Luna, Twilight. I've been Luna from the start. I'm sorry I hid from you and lied to you, but Twilight Sparkle, please believe me. I, Princess Luna, am in love with you." Luna said, casting a spell to return her back into her royal form. The spell illuminated the room, lighting everything in it. What Luna didn't notice, was that her lover lacked any color in her body full of hate and resent.
"Oh, Luna~" The white Twilight said. "I cannot tell you how long I've been waiting for this day." She said, advancing on Luna. Luna smiled a smile bigger than any of Pinkie Pie's smiles, ever. Twilight held Luna's face.
"Luna! Take me! Kiss me!" Twilight leaned in and kissed Luna.
Words could not describe how Luna felt. Joy? No, to little. Bliss? No, that still didn't describe how good she felt. Pain? Yeah, that works. Wait, why does she feel pain? What is that? A knife? In her wing? Why the f-
Twilight turned around a bucked Luna in the face. She was temporarliy disoriented, and her entire body fell out of the room and down the stairs, to land on the kitchen table. Spike and Fluttershy were both awoken with a shock.
"Yo Luna? You okay?" Spike said, poking Luna's unconscious body. Fluttershy picked up Spike and threw him across the room. She pushed into her stomach. Blood seeped out of the wound, from where the knife was impaled through her wing and into the table. Fluttershy tryed to pull the blade out, but it was stuck.
Discord slithered out of Twilight's room and down into the kitchen. He snapped his fingers and teleported to Fluttershy. He traced his finger under her neck.
"My, my, my deat Fluttershy. You look positively cute today." Discord said, his face close to hers. She shunned away, eyes shut closed.
"No! I may be cute, but I am NOT weak! Not any more! I'm not scared of you, you meanie!" She said, eyes still closed,
"Oh, you little- adorable creature. How can you be so kind when the world around you is so mean to you? You remember Sweet Apple Acres? With the fire? Do you know how many of your animals died?"
"NO! Leave me alone Discord!"
"Twelve....."
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
"You remember your wife, little ol' Dashie?" Discord said, still in Fluttershy's face.
"STOP IT DISCORD! LET MY FRIENDS GO!"
"Her and Pinkie have had a WILD sex life after she left....." He said with a chuckle.
"NO! LIES!"
"If I hurts you so much, than use the stare on me, Mrs. Shy Dash. Look my right in the eyes...." Luna gained enough strength to speak again.
"Don't do it! You'll be gone too!" she cried
"Look me in the eyes, Shy....."
"DON'T!" Luna yelled.
Fluttershy couldn't handle this, and she fell to the ground. Her eyes were open, and staring straight at Discord. She too was under Celestia's spell.
"NOOOoooo....." Luna said before she blacked out again, leaving the library behind.
Luna awoke with a jump. She was in a cage. In Canterlot's royal hall. Great. The elementless Elements of Harmony squabbled below her. Celestia was sitting on her throne, a huge smile spread across her face.
"Well, well, well. Look who my husband brought in. A pet." She said, shifting some controls so the cag shifted to in front of her. Luna cast a spell to teleport her away. A blinding flash of light covered the room. Luna had done it, she had escaped! She opened her eyes and all she saw was iron bars. Celestia laughed.
"Magic proof." She said, knocking the bars of the cage. Discord rattled the jail a bit too. Celestia rolled her eyes.
"Look Luna. Look at my necklace." She said. Luna didn't want to, but she was held magically. All the 7 gemstones of the Elements of Harmony adorned the golden piece. She had it. World domination was in her hooves. She was planning just that.
"Now, it is time to start the show." Celestia pushed a button and the roof of the castle opened up. She flew upwards, ready to adress her nation.
"Citizens of the sun!" Celestia yelled, allowing all of Equestria to hear. Ponies everywhere hid in fear.
"I broadcast to you a message! If anypony here is in or supports the New Lunar Republic, they will personally face my wrath! For I am the new sole ruler of Equestria!" Her horn shone in a bight blue color. The seven gemstones on her necklace also illuminated. She finally had enough power for this.
"Hey Celestia? What about me? I thought you said we'd rule together!" Discord yelled at the floating light irradiated with energy. Celestia looked down at discord with a smug grin.
"I lied." Celestia shot a blue beam of energy straight at Discord, enveloping him in light. His figure was being dragged towards her. He struggled and struggled trying to get away, but not even his chaos magic was strong enought to beat and alicorns and the seven Elements of Harmony.
Luna watched in horror as Celestia and Discord became a single being, floating high above Canterlot. The new dragonequise let out a roar, breaking Luna's cage and reverting the six friends back to normal. High winds swirled as loose papers and debris flew into the magical vortex which was left behind by the fusion of Celestia and Discord.
" I LIVE! " Shouted the new Queen Celestia, half alicorn, half dragonequise. Luna couldn't imagine the terror that was about to be unleashed on the land she once ruled.
Not the Best Time for a Party
Luna was a clever pony. She thought out her actions, and did them. She was skilled in magic and philosophy. She's not your average pony. Yet, in a time like this, magic and philosophy isn't going to be much of an aid. There she was, laying on the ground with little magic. Her sister has taken the powers of Chaos and Harmony to become the most powerful creature in existance, and she's using her new power to burn down the citizens who defy her.
Philosophy wasn't too much of help either. She had either two choices, run with low energy, or die for wanting the people's freedom. This is where her intellect kicks in. She slowly crawled on the floor to where the weilder of the Element of Magic lay still. Her mane was in hideous condition, slightly singed. She stopped next to her body. She pushed her hoof into Twilight's side.
"Twi?" She said in a weak groan. She shook her body, but she stayed quiet. A single tear dripped from Luna's eye. She stood up and limped towards the Element of Laughter. Her mane had poofed back up into it's pink cotton candy-ish state. Her normally never ending words had ceased. The same thing with Loyality, Generosity, Honesty, and Kindness. Luna fell down to her knees and cried. It had become hopeless.
"Uh, hello?" A male voice said from the shadows behind Luna. The ex-princess turned around to see a brown earth pony coming towards her. Normally in a situation like this, Luna would defend herself. Luckily for the stallion, Luna knew him. Luna knew him well.
"Doctor!" She said beaming, with tears still strolling down her cheeks. "It's so good to see you again!" The Doctor only laughed.
"Luna! I see you've..... gotten yourself into quite a pickle." He said, looking at the destroyed ceiling. Luna gave him a confused look.
"What's a pickle?" She said. Doctor Whooves lit his Sonic Screwdriver up over the sleeping bodies of the old weilders of the Elements of Harmony. He donned his glasses and turned to Luna.
"Human food. You remember the humans, right?" He said, examing Pinkie's body.
'Odd. A lot of residue from the fourth wall on her body. Gotta keep an eye on her....' He said putting the pink earth pony back on the ground.
"Ah yes, humans. Odd creatures. Hey, do you need my help in any way?" She said, still trying to wake the slumbering elements.
"Have you got a pen?" The Doctor said. Luna only returned with another blank expression. "Quill? Hoof-paint? Something?" Luna jumped up and ran to her room. Doctor Hooves felt a tremor shake through the castle. A segment of the roof broke of and crash landed on the floor, taking the floor with it. He jumped back.
"Hey, Luna, we may have a situation here." He said.
Luna crashed from room to room. Bits of the ceiling and floor were falling straight down of the mountain. She flew cautiously, swearing Celestia's name as she did. A chunk of debris fell and hit her right on the wing. She crashed and slid across the floor. Normally, a pony would have given up. A normal pony would have stopped and died. Good thing for Luna, she wasn't a normal pony. She crawled across the damaged floor, determined to make it to her bedroom.
The floor was breaking quicker than Luna could crawl. The bits and pieces of ancient Equestian tile fell down a few hundred feet onto the grasslands far below. Luna tried to go faster. She was using every bit of energy she had left. The hole had grown too big though. Her rear hooves fell off of the floor and down the mountain. She screamed and tried to pull herself up.
Her wings were too weak for flight. All she had was her own strength. It wasn't much, but it was working. Celestia noticed this. With a grin, she had found herself an opportunity. Celestia's horn glew a brilliant yellow, and struck the ground where Luna was.
Luna looked down in fear. The floor around her was pure cracks. One wrong move and it was all over. She was blessed with thi one moment to have life. Yet, she wasn't blessed with luck. She took her first step forward.
-CRACK-
'I am going insane..' Doctor Whooves thought. Normally, the Canterlot castle is on rock and mountainside. Now, it seems like the rock has magically vanished and the collapsing roof is breaking the tiled floors. He kept his Sonic Screwdriver aimed at the Element of Magic, hoping it's sonic properties would reactivate her magic. Luckily for him, it did.
Twilight slowly opened her eyes. She was greeted by an ecstatic stallion and a sharp pain in her sides. She jumped back. The new situation thrown into her lap had startled her.
"Hey, you. Tan guy." She said, trying to regain her composure. "Who are you?" He turned froom Pinkie's body and looked and her.
"The Doctor" he said.
"That explains it." She sighed. Memories of recent events had caused her to sadden.She looked back up.
"You're a doctor, right?"
"Yes and no." He proclaimed, mananging to awaken the married pegasi couple.
"What? Where are we? The castle?" Dash said, rubbing her head. Both her and Fluttershy had a massive headache.
"What's happening to us?" Twilight said to Doctor Whooves. Rarity and Applejack had awoken. Both with massive pains in their sides as well. Applejack also commented about having a headache, too.
"A change. Magical Metamorphing. I'm guessing it has something to do with your relation to the Elements of Harmony. Which by my guessing is in the hooves of that giant glowing floaty thing, yes?" He stopped talking to get a nod from Twilight. "Right. Listen, all I can say now is that you're going to get-"
"A SURPRISE!" yelled a famous pink pony as she quickly darted across the crumbling room to give every one of her freinds a hug. (A special rainbow maned pegasus got the hardest one.)
"Hey! My head hurts. So do my sides." She stopped mid-dart to slide across the floor on her flanks, finally noticing the pain.
"Doctor?" Twilight said though the commotion of the friend's apologies. Whooves turned back and looked. "You're older than us, right?"
"Older than you by a total of 882 years, why?" He responded. Twilight shot him a confused look. He smiled. "Yep, I get that all the time."
"No, doctor. If you're older than me by centuries, how are you shorter than us?"
"While I do not understand why you have lived for so long, the mare is right. How are you smaller?" Rarity added.
"Fillies, Fillies. Listen. It's not that I am shorter than you. It's that you are now taller than everypony else." he said with a serious tone in his voice. All of the girls' jaws dropped.
"How?" Fluttershy asked.
"Ah'm sure ya'll're jokin'. Ya're jokin', right?" the orange farmer added.
"It HAS to be true! I have like, 20% more party in me! I have to be bigger if I can hold all this party in my body! Or I'll explode! Then I'll explode again! My hoof isn't stomping, so that means nopony going to explode today. Good luck for little old Pinkie. Whoops, I mean, not-so-little." Pinkie Pie said with a giggle.
"Pinkie Pie logic. I'll never get it." Dash whispered to Fluttershy.
"Girls, I'm sorry to end this here. I really would love to stay, but you have bigger things on your plate that I cannot help with. Just remember, it is URGENT that you-"
"Halt! You aren't going anywhere!" Three of Celestia's personal body guards had entered the chamber, and were pointing spears at the Doctor and the six strangely tall ponies.
"You don't have to do this, we're trying to help you!" Twilight said, jumping in front of the Doctor.
"You are a threat to Celestia's rule. You shall be locked away far from civilization, so that you may not hurt the ponies safety any longer!" One of the guards said. Another pair of three burst through the door behind them.
"Stop this! This isn't brave! This isn't valor! This is suicide!" Doctor Whooves shouted. The number of Celestian guards multiplied by the dozen as more and more marched in, effectivly surrounding the seven. Just then, Queen Celestia herself floated downwards. The tiles and shingles of the ceiling were magically flying around her at different speeds, creating a sheild around her snake-like body.
"I found this outside. You should know not to run from me." She hissed. Luna with magically thrown onto the floor between the ponies. Her mane and wings were ruffled and out of shape. She was bruised all over. Still, she stood up. She had a look of hatred for the monster that was there, standing in place of the once caring sister shy knew.
"I have lost all tolerance I used to have with you. All of you plan to take me down. I cannot just bide and let you do that, now can't I?" She said. Luna's eyes sone in a bright white as she yelled back to the magical beast.
"You are NOT fit to oversee a kingdom! You aren't fit to oversee a city! You aren't fit to oversee a tortoise race! You aren't my sister any more, Celestia. You should slither back into the pits of hell from which you came and give me back the REAL Celestia!" She yelled. Tears flowed down from her eyes.
"We'll see about that." Celestia's hron glew a brialliant yellow with black undetones, and the gemstones of the Elements of Harmony lit up in their respective color. The beam of magic shot out, hitting Luna square in the chest. Luna thre her head back and fell downwards as magic was sucked out of her own body. Doctor Whooves and the girls looked on in horror.
"I need more magic for where you seven are going..." She said as the magic beam split into three. The two spare beams hit the doors, locking them. They then touched the Royal Guards, absorbing their magic until all that was left of them was a pile of bones. The Doctor was infuriated.
"That was murder!" He said, growling at Celestia.
"It was self defence! They were eventually going to rebel. I needed their magic, anyway." She said, without a hint of care for the dead soldiers in her voice. "Besides, I'll need more magic than what these baubels have, because instead of banishing one weak little alicorn, I'm banishing six ponies and a Time Lord. "
"I can bring your rule down in six words!" The infuriated Doctor said to the malevolent tyrant Celestia. He turned to the six ex-weilders of the Elements of Harmony. "You are going to become alicorns!" Celestia was outraged. She cast the banishment spell on the Doctor and the six ponies.
"Goodbye PESTS! I hope you enjoy the moon!" She said with an evil laugh. The Doctor took this one moment to strike. He broke through the teleportation spell, and knocked Luna out of the magic draining spell, putting him where she used to be. Luna was sucked into the spell and vanished with the other six.
"What?!? You! Oh, I'm going to end you, peasant!" She turned all of the beams of energy onto Doctor Hooves' body. He turned back in pain. For the first time in the Doctor's life, he cried.
'Goodbye Dinky, Daddy loves you. Goodbye Ditzy, I......I......I....'
"I don't want to go." The Doctor said.
Just a second ago, Luna, Twilight, and the others were in the Royal Hall. A mysterious brown stallion gave his life for them to go far away from there. A place where all things add up. A place so far away, even the most powerful being cannot harm them there. Everything was going as planned.
Luna opened his eyes to the familiar barren landscape of the moon. She controlled the moon. This was her place. Her kingdom. It was beautiful. It was empty. It was quiet. It was lonely. Luna sighed and laid herself down. All of the recent events were too much to take. Her sister had become a monster. She still had the head, legs, and hooves of a pony, yet she now had the snake-ike body of a air serpent, wings of a dragon, and pure magical energy magnetically forcing items to swirl around it endlessly. Worst of all, the creation of the monster also birthed a huge magical vortex. Anything near would have all of it's magical forced drained. To top things all off, it was growing at a tremendous rate.
Twilight. Twilight Sparkle. Ever since Nightmare Moon was defeated, Luna had a magical link to her. Even before she was born, Luna had dreams of Twilight Sparkle. Her savior. Her love. So, being a thinker instead of a do-er, Luna used magical spells of ancient Equestrian history to change herself into a silver maned, blue coated unicorn named Trixie. She had a little fun messing with the villiagers before confessing her love. The love was returned, but Luna felt wrong lying to her lover like that. So she 'killed' Trixie, while in reality she was sent back to where she was made.
Celestia. She was once a caring sister. A beautiful alicorn mare, capable of so many wonderful things. She was bold, she was nice. She was also curious. Like they say, curiousity killed the cat. In better terms, her curiousity turned her into a demon. Her thoughts and soul were binded with dark magic. It was a failsafe in the Element of Trust. After Mother Earth and Father Time realized to harm this 'failsafe' could cause, they hid the Element away and didn't put it in the other six Elements of Harmony.
Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash. Applejack. Rarity. Fluttershy. Days ago, they were just names. Now they are Equestria's top wanted. The Equestria led by a demon and powered with slavery. In his final hour, Doctor Whooves said his final words. Six words to bring down Celestia's evil reign. He said that these ponies with her on the moon would become alicorns. It was no myth, either. All of them felt pains where their missing piece was. The ones without horns had massive headaches, caused by the horn growing. The ones without wings felt pain in their sides, caused by the wings growing. The six of them had also grown taller than most ponies. Twilight noticed they were all the same height as Luna.
Luna. This was her tale. This is her story. She had now realized it. She wasn't the hunted. She was the survivor. She was the only thing in the way of Celestia taking over all of the world, from Equestria to the Forbidden Oceans. Luna stood back up. Confindence restored in her mangled body. This newfound power gave her strength to run north. There was something there. The one thing that could stop Equestria from being swallowed by a magical vortex of Chaos magic and Harmony maigc constantly contradicting each other.
Luna's new friends struggled to keep up with her with the immense pain they were in. Randomly growing wings and horns for the first time hurts. Luna wished she could help them somehow, but she couldn't yet. They had to arrive to their destination. Luna stopped only once. Both Twilight and Pinkie fell down in pain. Magically, some appendages ripped out of their sides, glowing a bright white. The wounds healed themselves rather quickly. When the two mares stopped writhing in pain, they both had a set of functioning wings.
Rarity and Applejack jumped onto the backs of Pinkie and Rainbow Dash. All of them were flying at high speeds to get to Pyramis Crater. There, Luna saw it. The answer to their prayers. The one thing that could save them all.
"The Pyramid of Power?" Twilight exclaimed in mid-air. "I thought that didn't exist!" She stopped there, just flying in place. Right in front of here was a building of legend. A story not written within a book, but within the stars. Twilight Sparkle was always an astronomer, and she red the tale. The Elements of Harmony died here. The original weilders before the Nightmare Cascade. It was right before her. On the moon.
"It exists as well as you or me, love!" Luna said, passing Twilight and dipping down into the crater. Twilight picked up her jaw and flew downwards. The building itself was magnificent. It was made of moon stone, hoof carved into it's shape. Unlike the pyramids from the deserts of the Maurader Ponies, this pyramid was in top condition. Magic pulses spewed from the inside in much stronger frequencies. One edge of the structure had a depression, which led to a large wall with ancient Equestrian writing on it.
"Well, ah've never seen anythin' like that in my life. This doesn't look like Equestrian. Luna, what kinda writin' is that?" Applejack said. She ran her hoof along the wall, carefully scanning the carvings. One item struck her as odd. It was an apple, like her cutie mark. Underneath it was a round circle that went in, about the size and shape of her hoof.
'Ah wonder...' She stuck her whole hoof into the slot. It fit perfectly. She felt something, way in the back. She could almost reach....
The hole shut iteself a small amount. Applejack was stuck. She screamed for help. She had become part of the door. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy both tried to pull her out. All force used to pull her out caused the door to close even more around her. There was no hope. She was stuck. At least, nopony had an idea how to get her out. Excluding the insane pink party pony, who was perplexed because she was pondering a plan to save a pleafull pony in a plight. It instantly hit her.
Pinke gentley bucked both Fluttershy and Rainbow off of Applejack. She flew around, quickly reading the door. She didn't understand what was written on it, but she did know something. She had found a second hole, similar to the one Applejack had found. Above it was a gemstone. Pinkie's eyes grew bigger than sausers as she almost exploded in glee. She swooped down and grabbed her friend Rarity.
"Dear, may I ask you what you are doing? Why are you- No! Don't get me stuck too!" Rarity said is her now winged friend had picked her up and put her hoof into the hole underneath the picture of a gem. The rock had closed around her too. The wall shook, and a small crack formed through the entire wall. Pinkie was right!
"Hey, look!" Fluttershy said. "It's not a trap! It's a lock! Somehow, we're the keys!" Fluttershy ran over and found her keyhole. Right underneath a picture of a butterfly. She stuck her hoof in, and the crack grew wider. Rainbow Dash found her slot, and stuck herself into it. The crack spread across the entire door.
Luna looked at Twilight. She was walking towards the wall of the pyramid. She barely put her hoof onto the door and felt magic surround her. Her horn lit a bright red-purple. She stepped back from the pyramid, back towards Luna. Her horn had stopped glowing. Somehow, this building had a magical connection to Twilight. How, though? Was it because she was the Element of Magic? What if it's something more?
She found it. Her slot. The amount of magic now flowing into her body was unbearable. It took her some time and strength, but she put her hoof in there. The wall shook violently. The cracks spread across the door, and they started to glow. This was it! They were about to enter! Small fragments of the pyramid broke off and fell down the sides of the pyramid.The door lit up brighter and brighter as the cracks spread. Then nothing. Nothing happened. The door was fragmented, glowing magically. Yet it wouldn't break. They were stuck. They weren't strong enough to break it.
"Twilight! Do not give up hope! I know what we're supposed to do!" Luna shouted to the purple mare as she ran to her.
"Well, what's wrong? Why isn't it opening? All slots are full!"
"Twilight. This door is powered by magic. Not all of you are alicorns yet, so you lack the amount of magic necessary. So, if you are to open this door, more magic is required. Your magic is low, due to Discord draining it to a little more than a young school filly's. I have to share my magic with you." She said. When she reached Twilight, she put her hooves on Twilight's shoulders. She sighed heavily. Of all moments, it had to be now. She summoned as much magic as she could without killing her and powered her horn. Luna closed her eyes and leaned forward. She kissed Twilight.
The door light up greater than the surface of the sun. It resumed shaking aggresively. The cracks started to intertwine. Sections of the wall fell down, letting even greater areas of light shine out. The cracks reached the ends of the wall, and turned back to the center. Twilight's niche. Then, Applejack's hole unlocked, and she fell out. Rarity, Pinkie, Dash, and Fluttershy's all opened and they fell down. The only one still locked was Twilight's. Her and Luna were still up in the air, magic locked together. Luna and Twilight were enveloped by the growing light of the door. Then, it broke.
The door just broke. It fell into small fragments on the ground. Luna and Twilight slowly floated downwards.
"Well, um, the door is open. Let's keep moving, yes?" She nervously spat out as a blush grew on her face. She ran down the hallway inside the pyramid. Twilight slowly nodded, trying to find a way to explain what just happened. She walked alongside her friends, heading for the inside. Nopony turned to notice, but the door repaired itself behind them, locking them in.
Rarity couldn't help but notice that the drawings carved into the side of the hallway were all pictures of Twilight. There were also images of Luna, Trixie, and Shining Silver. They all told a tale of love and rejection. Self-sacrifice and redemption. She understood it. She knew what it all meant. Why Trixie came to Ponyville, why Shining Silver warned them, she evem knew why Luna kissed Twilight. She knew it all. Rarity was the only one.
"Ah, finally! We're here! I knew it! I knew I'd be here! Celestia's going to go DOWN!" Luna yelled as they made it into the main room. It was a gigantic round chamber, with six huge pillars on the walls. In the middle was another pillar made of solid glass. Inside it was three figures floating in pure magic, in a liquid form. Luna flew to the top of the middle pillar and teleported the three figures to Equestria.
"Hey!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Where'd you send them? What's the hurry? Didn't want us to see them or something?" She flew forward at Luna. She dodged at the last second. Rainbow was going too fast for anypony to stop her, and she collided with the pillar on the other side of the room. She pulled herself from the rock, a bit stunned. She shook it off, and went after Luna again. Behind her, the rocks around the pillar moved up. Behind them was a glass layer. She suddenly paused in mid-air.
"Dashie? What happened?" Pinkie said to her friend. Dash didn't answer. She stood there. Stuck in mid-flight, looking at the pillar. Pinkie looked inside the pillar that her best friend had crashed into. Inside it was liquid magic, like the main container in the rotunda. A golden necklace similar to the one Celestia wore floated inside of it. Unblinking, Dash slowly floated towards the glass container. She pressed her face and hooves against the glass. All of the ponies in the room tried to move her, or make her move. Nothing. She just floated there, face against the glass.
"Dash? Baby, please hear me! Where are you?" Fluttershy said. At this point, she expecting something big. After recent events, nothing would surprise her. Nothing excpet for Rainbow responding.
"These necklaces..... they all have them..... We need them....Just....a little....force..." She whispered load enough for everypony to hear. The corresponding five pillars opened up, each showing a necklace for them. Rarity looked at hers with awe. It was beautiful. She wanted to have it. If she could just break the glass, it'd be hers. An evil grin grew on her face. She walked back, facing the pillar with her necklace.
"Rarity, what in tarnation are ya-" Applejack was cut short by the sound of glass breaking and a scream. She turned around to see Rainbow Dash had broken her pillar. The necklace was resting firmly on her chest. The magic from the pillar surrounded her. It filled her. A horn had pierced through her head, at full grown length. Her wings had become bigger and more astonishing. Another pillar had broken. Rarity bust throught into hers. She was being enveloped by her magic, too. Her mane had grown longer and curlier. She grew wings, too. Hers were bigger and fancier, while Rainbow's looked more aerodynamic. Luna nodded at the other four. SIlently, they nodden back and headed for thier own pillars.
'Why can't anything be easy around here?' Twilight though as she rammed opened her glass pillar.
"Girls, girls. I have not been entirely truthful to you these past few days. Past few months. I'd like to apologize. I will tell you all now. I built this place. I knew this day would come. I knew of all of you thousands of years before you were born. When I was banished here, I had dreams. All of them ended with you dying. I couldn't let that happen. Your love and frienship binds you together in many ways. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. You two are the happiest married couple I've seen in my thousand and twenty five years of living. Pinkie Pie. I need to tell you something. Love is a wonderful thing. Sometimes love is shared between two people. Sometimes one may love someone who loves someone else. You must learn to find another. It will only end in misery for somepony if you don't. Rarity. Love also effects you. There is somebody who endlessly loves you, and you have put it aside as simple youth. Little to your knowledge, he is older than you. Applejack. You need not feel sorry for you actions under Discord's magic. It wasn't you. You should understand that you didn't do this. If you keep blaming yourself, you will faulter. Twilight Sparkle. This one I owe the biggest apology to. I have lied to you endlessly because I was too afraid to tell you the truth. I am Trixie. Her 'body' was up here, on the moon. I used a spell to call upon her. I became her. I had her voice, her personality. The only thing I had still was my emotions. So whenever Trixie said she loved you.... It was me. It was always me. Discord gave you my letters. I'd like to say I'm sorry. If you do not love me, I would understand. I have been selfish and greedy when it came to love, and I'm sorry. There is a bigger threat ahead of us. One who can manipulate chaos and harmonic magic. She can bend reality to her will, so we must take caution. At the same time, there is a war between Celestia ever-growing army and my soldiers. So, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy. I need you three to go and help my army. Ponyville is Celestia's next target, so you must move with haste. Twilight, Dash, Pinkie. You three will be coming with me. We will take down Celestia, once and for all. Before we go, I have to tell you something. I have something planned for her. We will not kill her. My sister will not die. Alright, my friends. I wish you luck. This may be the last time we see each other. I have never been happier to have such great friends."
Apon finishing her speech, Luna and the other ponies' horns glew multiple colors, and they were gone from the moon.
Celestia was growing impatient. She felt Luna return. She knew that Luna had come back. She knew Twilight had become powerful alicorns. She was angry, tired, and though she wouldn't admit it, she was scared. Her rule was going to end here.'
"Gaurds!" She yelled. Her voice echoed through the empty halls. Nopony responded. They were all down by Ponyville, attacking the New Lunar Republic's last outpost. She was alone. It didn't matter to her. She was the Queen of the world. She could handle this. She was powerful. Her could take them in less than ten seconds. So she waited. She waited for her sister to come. She feared her sister would come. She was alone, and scared.
Twilight, Rarity, and Luna arrived at a destination far from where they needed to be. They were outside Ponyville's library. The streets were empty. Everypony had left the city or joined the fight. The hospital was in functioning condition, personnel could be seen passing the windows every now and again. Other than that, the city was abandoned.
Luna opened the door to the library with her back hoof. She gave a stern look to Rarity. 'Go inside' was the message she was delivering.Rarity was confused as to why, but it had to be done. Rarity wlaked inside the library. It was trashed. The railing on the stails leading to Twilight's room were busted, dried blood decayed on the table and a little purple dragon was paralyzed. Twilight rushed to his side. He wasn't responding. Tears formed in her eyes. Spike was a little brother to her. She had let this happen.
"If you don't mind me saying, grieving isn't why we're here. Your dragon, Spike was born with an illness. He cannot grow unless his greed-plagued heart becomes greedier. This disease, however, has a cure. The greed can be wiped from his heart. Due to his birth problem, he'll only grow to a few inches taller than us on our hind hooves." Luna explained to the crying Twilight and Rarity.
"What's the cure?" Rarity said. She also had tears in her eyes.
"Bliss. He needs to be in a state of pure bliss to erase the greed. He will rapidly grow if we can cure him. He can... help us fight my sister." she said, fondeling with her hooves. Twilight didn't listen. Her brother was dead. Nothing in this world can put him in bliss. He's too kind and generous. He would never- Twilight was shoved to the side by Rarity.
"How old is he?" she said to Twilight, who was picking herself up off the floor.
"Twenty-four. Why?" She said, dusting herself off. Rarity picked up Spike's body.
"I must do this. Equestria needs me. Spikey-wikey needs me. Do NOT get any ideas from this, Twilight!" Rarity said. Twilight was about to question her, but was hit with a lack of breath when Rarity kissed Spike. His eyes shot open. He realized what had just happened. Rarity was kissing him! He was so happy, he could.....
Spike's scales moved back as a pair of dragon wings grew out. His body size and stature grew bigger. Rarity broke the kiss as Spike's body grew to fit his age. He was a mature dragon, after all. When he reached the correct size, he bent down and hugged Rarity and Twilight. Luna smiled.
'Life is beautiful some times. Other times, it is not. Right now, it's about to get ugly.'
Canterlot. They had made it. It was time for the final confrontation. Luna walked through the worn-down castle. The magic vortex has been taking loose pieces of the castle and sucking it into itself. It was horrifying. The sight of the castle where she played as when she was a filly in a total forlorn condition. Luna was disgusted just walking down the halls.
"So, how are we going to take her down? We have no plan." Twilight said to Luna.
"You may now, but I dooo!" Pinkie Pie said, eating a cookie she had gotten from hammerspace. Twilight, Dash, and Luna all looked at her with a confused face. As if they wouldn't expect this by now. Pinkie hopped off in the direction of the kitchen. Luna scratched her head.
'Whaddya know. My life is resting in her hooves. Great mother of Atermis, we're doomed.'
"Oh Celestiaaaaa" Pinkie Pie called in a sing-song voice. "I'm in the kitcheeeennnnn. Come and get meeeee!" Pinkie giggled when she thought of her plan. She was such a pankster! This'll get Celestia! The pink pony was a sneaky one. She always had a plan for a party. Pinkie was also a clever pony. She knows how to use her skills wisely. Not anypony can use a party as a weapon! Pinkie Pie is such a great prankster!
Celestia had been driven into insanity. Her mind was constantly fighting itself. Kill all? Rule all? She could never decide. The forces of chaos and the forces of harmony were in a battle over who is best. She walked into the room, amgic blasting off of her in yellow and red sparks. Pinkie was missing from the kitchen. She had been fooled, by a pink pony, nontheless! Celestia'd banish herself is she were pink. Good thing she isn't.
"Hello Equestria! Are you ready to PARTY?" the room shouted at Celestia. She ducked back, expecting something to pop out behind her. The room was the same as before. Nopony had entered. Nopony had left.
"FIRST! We'll teach you my favoriteististist song ever! You can sing along if you want!" Pinkie Pie giggled from somewhere in the room. Celestia scowled. Using her magic, she pointed the sharp ends of the shingles and debree infront of her, ready to slingshot them forward.
"All you have to do is take a cup of flower, add it to the mix....."
Pinkie Pie breifly appeared behind Celestia, hitting the back of her head with an iron measuring cup. After recovering, she turned around. Pinkie was gone. How could she move that fast?
"Now just take a little something sweet...."
When Celestia turned around, Pinkie Pie took the end of a lollipop and jammed it into her right eye. She screamed in pain. She tried to take it out with her magic, but that only caused her more pain.
"Not sour..."
Pinkie turned back around and squeezed lemon into her wounded eye. She fell downwards in pain.
"A bit of salt, just a pinch..."
Pinkie Pie was about to pour a bag of salt onto Celestia, but she grabbed the bag before Pinkie could. When she turned to hit her, she was gone.
"Baking these treats is such a cinch, add a teaspoon of vanilla!"
Pinkie had laid down a track of liquid vanilla, which Celestia slipped in. She fell out of the kitchen and slid into the main hall. Luna, Twilight, Rainbow, and Pinkie were all standing there, party cannons aimed at her.
"You're kidding. You're kidding, right?" Celestia says.
"Add a little more, and you count to four, and you never git your filla~" Pinkie sang as she fired the cannon.
"Cupcakes, so sweet and tasty!" The four of them fired the cannons again. All direct hits.
"Cupcakes, don't be too hasty!" The cannons fired again. Celestia fell downwards. Mane and coat both singed and patchy.
"Cupcakes!" Another blast.
"Cupcakes!" Yet another blast.
"Cupcaaaaaakes!" The final round fired. This time, it wasn't pure party being fired at her. It was a horned pegasus named Rainbow Dash. Dash picked Celestia up and bucked her into the air. While she was stunned, Rainbow constandly kicked her with her hooves at high speeds. Being an alicorn, she can move much faster with no problem at all.
Twilight flew up. She began charging spells and firing them at Celestia. Each one hit with dead accuraccy. She was battered, she was weak. She still had energy. With her last strike, she broke the chain holding the Elements of Harmony and let it fall down. The chaos magic flowed through her. A dragon made of chaos energy shadowed over Celestia. She swiped Twilight and Rainbow down.
Luna picked up the neckalce with the Elements of Harmony on it. She pried the six gemstones of the other flew off, being absorbed by their holders. The 7th element was still locked in place. It was a gamble at best. If she does this, she may become the next evil mastermind. It was risk she didn't want to take, but with this new chaos dragon form, she had to.
With he hooves, she held the gem near her heart. The gem was sucked into her body and dissappeared. She was the holder! She was the one. She was ready for judgement.
Luna floated upwards with broken pieces of the roof swirling around her. Her horn shone a brilliant blue, and the other Elements of Harmony teleported to her. The dragon swiped at them, but they blocked it off. The elements encircled Celestia. Blue beams shot from each of their horns at Celestia. She was stuck. She struggled to get out. Casting chaos spells, she made dark energy flow through the harmony lasers.
Luna floated up into the air above Celestia. The weilders of the Elements raised the right hooves and connecting the beams onto Luna. A ring of magic incircled the group. Celestia wasn't going to give up, however. With one last blast of chaos magic, she turned the magic beams into a red energy. All of them winced in pain. Twilight turned back and winked at the castle.
Celestia began to laugh. It had been a feeble attempt. No one could best Celestia! Not even the giant purple dragon heading right for her. Her moment of arrogance had caused the beginning of her end. Spike, who had flown up from the castle, grabbed her back. She had lost all focus, and the chaos spell was terminated.
"Celestia! Your reign shall end here. You were cursed with chaos magic, so I shall remove that from you." Luna said. Her horn shone a bright color. Celestia's body turned back into the alicorn's, and Discord's dead body fell from her. She screamed in pain. The dark magic had gotten weaker and weaker. She was growing weaker. She was losing. Celestia knew there was nothing she could do.
"Now. Your craving for magic has caused this trouble. Your ability to manipulate magic shall be removed." Luna said. The blue beams turned a low yellowish hue. Celestian's horn also lit up this yellow shade. Slowly, it started to disintigrate. Celestia bucked around in the magic dome she was captured in, to no avail. Her horn was gone.
"Finally. Your ability to not die of age has caused your brain endless years of torture. Normally, I would let you become the age you are, making you shrivel up and rot in seconds. Yet, this isn't a normal case. You're my sister, and I love you aswell. Still, you cannot go unpunished. You will have a chance to relive life as a pegasus filly, in Ponyville. I hope you don't mess up again, sister." Luna said. All of the alicorn's horns filled with magic. Celestia's hornless body shrunk down in size and age. With that, the corrupted magic from the failsafe had broken itself, and the filly had vanished.
Luna and her friends floated downwards slowly. She had done it. They beat her sister. Luna still felt bad about it. She had practically killed her sister. All that was left of her past life was memories, burn marks, and a blood-stained lollipop.
All of the surving ponies had gathered outside of the castle. Celestia's soldiers had surrendered when the news of her defeat spread. They were wait for Luna to give her grand announcement speech.
Behind the scenes, Luna was nervous. She was never in full power before. She never had full command. Now, here she was. It was a scary thought. She gained all her nerve and walked forward.
"Citizens of Equestria! Celestia's tyrannic rule is no longer! I promise you all that a golden age has begun for us! We are a united nation, not two armies in a constant struggle! We are one land where nopony shall suffer slavery or heavy taxes. This is the year of the ponies! Also, let us not forget that we are not alone. Within the next few years, the Zebras and hte Ponies will have a universal peace act. Zebras are no longer illegal citizens! In Equestria, all animals are welcome to live and play!"
All of the ponies cheered. Every single one of them. Four of Luna's soldiers and two mares cheered the loudest. It was truely a miracle. Luna hushed the crowd again. She continued her speech.
"As you may or may not know, I didn't solely take Celestia down. I had help from your new princesses. Yes, five new princesses."
The crowed gasped in shock. It was more of a delightful shock then disgustfull one.
"Princess Pinkie Pie, Princess Rarity, Princess Applejack, Princess Rainbow Dash, and Princess Fluttershy Dash." Luna announced to the crowd. All of the ponies from Ponyville cheered. The ponies from Canterlot cheered at the name of Rarity. Appleloosans almost had a party with Applejack's name. The ponies from Cloudsdale.... well, it's best if it isn't put into too much detail.
"Uhm, Luna?" Fluttershy said to the alicorn addressing her subjects. Luna turned around and nodded. A hot blush formed over Fluttershy's face.
"If me and Rainbow are alicorns now, does that mean we can have a foal?"
Far, far away, somewhere in the Everfree forest, Zecora heard a loud shriek of joy. She shrugged it off and went back to her work.
"Now, citizens, I have big news for you all!" Luna said after recovering from the scream in her ear. She took a deep breath and turned back. Waving her hoof, she signaled Twilight to walk out onto the blacony. She didn't understand why she wasn't labelled as one of the princesses. Was she not going to be in charge? Would she be sent back home?
"Twilight Sparkle. Element of Magic. You have done so much for me in this small time. Without you, we couldn't have stopped Celestia. I will tell you now. You will not be a princess over Equestria."
The whole crowd gasped, including Twilight and her friends. She had done all of this, and she's not a princess? She never wanted to be one, though. If she wasn't, however, she'd be hours away from her friends every day. She didn't want to live alone again. Luna continued talking before Twilight grew angry.
"IF" She said louder than usual, so every pony could hear " you follow my offer." She turned around and faced her back to Twilight and the crowd. She levitated a small black case to herself. She opened it a tad and smiled. Putting a stern face on, she turned back around.
"What may that be, Queen Luna?" she said, a bit sarcasticly. She didn't know what was going to happen next. No pony called it. Except for one of the princesses. A white alicorn with a purple mane knew what she was going to do. A tear ran down her cheek as a smile grew on her face.
"Twilight Sparkle." She said, opening the case to reveil a golden horseshoe with Twilight's name engraved on it. She intictively put her hooves over her mouth. This just couldn't be happening! With a deep breath, Luna said the words that would change Equestria forever.
"Would you marry me?"

"That is the end of our tale. It's sad it's over so soon. You've barely been here long, it's still afternoon." Zecora said to the teenage mare who was sitting down, listening to her story. Applebloom groaned. She liked that story. She wished it were longer.
"Mighty thanks Zecora. That was one intrestin' yarn you spun there." She said as she packed her saddlebags full of the medicinal items she came for. Zecora dumped some flower petals into her cauldron and a huge puff of green smoke. She laughed.
"I did not lie, this tale is quiet true. It happened six years ago, I thought you knew." She said as she added more items into her pot. Applebloom dropped a vat of a glowing green liquid with questionable origins onto the floor. Her jaw dropped and hit the ground before the mixture did. She shook her head.
"Six years ago? When the farm burnt down and ah was in the hospital, where ah met Aurora? Those six years ago?" She said with a high amount of shock in her voice. Zecora chuckled and continued working on her mixture. She nodded to the yellow teenage filly as she dropped some melon seeds into the brew.
"Huh. Guess that explains how mah sis' has wings an' all. Ah was told Celestia just stepped down from power." Appleblooms still didn't believe the wise zebra's words. She picked up the book she had been reading to her. It was a copy of Equestrian History, 2018 edition. She quickly skimmed throughout the pages. It was there. Word for word.The cold, hard truth, right there in black and white. Man, Zecora always know how to amaze ponies.
"Whelp Miss Zecora, ah'd really love ta stay an' all, but Aurora needs me at our flower shop. Queen Twilight is coming over, and it needs to be ready fer her. Have a great day!" Applebloom said as she hugged Zecora and picked her things back up.
"Farewell, Applebloom my friend. I hope you and Aurora's love may never end!" She chanted with a wink. Applebloom blushed and ran out the door, headed to Ponyville. The zebra sighed and went back to her work.
'If only Twilight knew what's left for her up ahead. I hope my fears don't come true, or many will be dead.'
A blast of magic burst through the outskirts of Ponyville as six male figures fell from it. The wormhole shut itself after dumping the bubbly pink unnatural bringer of happiness and chaos onto the forgein soil. The purple one stood up. It was obvious he was the leader of the pack. A stray flier that was gently floating along with the wind caught his attention. Using his magic, he floated the piece of paper towards him. After reading it, he dropped it in shock.
"Guys! It's us! Except they have both wings and horns, and...... they're female."
