Spike's egg wasn't always with ponies. It all started with two dragons peacefully living in the Everfree Forest. Spike's father, Moss, is the self-proclaimed "first dragon scientist" of animal and pony behavior. But when he and his wife stopped a raid on Canterlot, a group of vengeful dragons seek to gain revenge, and Spike is the only survivor.
