//-------------------------------------------------------// A Equestrian's Nightmare -by Fryguy- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Ever since the three pony tribes had settled into Equestria, built their villages near the sea and occupied the land, they were happy. They had plenty of food, no crazy Windigos that were trying to kill them, their wealth extended. Best of all, the pony tribes were now friends with one another and could trust each other, each tribe didn't fight with one another anymore. The fillies of each tribe played with one another, laughed, and much more. The stallions and mares of each tribe got together and were singing, dancing, and lots of other stuff to show that they were happy. The relationship of the leaders were also affected as well, Commander Hurricane, Princess Platinum, and Chancellor Puddinghead were much nicer to each other after Clover The Clever, Private Pansy, and Smart Cookie became friends and melted, literally, their leaders from their icy hatred to each other. The leaders worked better together, went through problems together, and solved them together. The three tribes were happy, very happy indeed. Well, they were, until one day, spying from the nearby hills, were two well armed ponies who looked very angry looked upon the villages across the valley. Hatred were in their eyes. Their armor included a helmet, leg guards, and a chest plate, as well as armor covering their back. Their manes came out of the back of their helmet in the form of a pony tail. "Cowards." One of the ponies said. His angry look turned to his partner, who was just as angry at what he was seeing in the valley. "These ponies could just think that they can take the land of the valley even though we were about to take it? Who, or what would do that to very powerful warriors such as ourselves?" The ponies looked angrily again at the villages in the valley where the pony tribes lived. They looked at the buildings and the happiness that they produced inside, the more the pony warriors saw of it, the more they hated it. The more they saw what they were seeing, the more they wanted to stir up trouble. That was when one of them came up with an evil idea, he nudged at his partner, signaling that they should leave. "Let's go report back to our leader." The two pony warriors then turned to leave and to head back west, where they had come from. They ran like the wind, not wanting another look at what they were looking at. Soon the pony warriors were heading near what appeared to be a huge gate as tall as a mountain which was the only way to get past a very high wall, The gate opened for the warriors who were going inside. But once inside, the gate immediately closed. Beyond the wall were tents, buildings, and a large palace. Warrior ponies roamed the streets of the neighborhoods of many warriors ponies. The tents had many weapons stocked inside, they were prepared for any attack, but nether places were the destination for the two warriors. They were heading towards the palace, where their leader awaited them. When the two pony warriors entered a long throne room, a loud voice thundered across the hallway. "Raven! Sitclaw! Come at once!" The two ponies still kept going like if they hadn't heard anything.  When they made it through the hallway to the throne glittering with gold and silver, they bowed down to a pony who sat on the chair. He had brown fur and a black mane and tail, with long stripes running down his back. He had a few scars over his right eye. He wore a battle helmet like if it were a crown, and when he opened his eyes, they showed nothing but hatred and darkness in his irises. "You took your time!" He yowled at his two soldiers, who didn't even flinch when being shouted at. They kept their heads low, still bowing to their leader that they had faith in and trusted with their life. Soon they stood up again, and one of them responded to their leader. "Oh great leader of the stars of the sky. We come with a report. About new threats rising from the east." Their leader twitched his eyebrow. "What threats? I want to know, for you know that I hate trouble." He said with a sneer. The two warriors before him looked at their leader with seriousness. "Pony tribes from an unknown land settled in the valleys of the east recently, the land we were about to take as ours." As their leader listened on his throne, his anger boiled, but showed great calm. "Tsk, they were wrong to fool around with us! Soon they will learn a lesson of why not to mess with the warriors of the west." As the leader talked, he stood up and started walking towards a door, which he opened to reveal the outside world. Sitclaw, one of the two pony warriors, walked towards his leader with a smile. "They could be of use though, oh great leader, the earth ponies looked strong, even the fillies and colts. Why kill these tribes when they could be of great use?" He said cunningly. His leader paused for a moment, looking at the sunset, then said. "Maybe we could use them, but we'll have to go tonight when they sleep soundly in their beds." Turning around as he spoke, the leader headed towards another door marked "Officers Chamber." Walking down the corridor, the leader started thinking on how to use the earth ponies of the tribe. Finally he though of an idea. "I think the fillies and colts could work as slaves around here, they could save us money and time, and while they do our labor we can do battle training." He said, starting to smile. The leader finally reached his destination cackling with laughter. When he opened the door he found some ponies heavily armed with metals of high honor on their chest plates. "Lord Eyescar!" One shouted, and they all bowed down to the leader in front of them. "Generals, we much march east tonight, I have a little surprise in store for some lucky fillies and colts in their beds tonight. Heh heh heh..." Eyescar started laughing again, he was enjoying the thoughts he had about the earth pony fillies and colts. They were sure going to be surprised the next morning.
