//-------------------------------------------------------// Friends Stick Together -by Voxyl the Game Dragon- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Don't Leave Me //-------------------------------------------------------// Don't Leave Me Colt Prince BlueBlood was stilling in his room, playing with his toy soldiers. "Master BlueBlood." The white colt looked up from his green plastic ponies and saw one of his chambermaids. She had a small smile on her face. "Your girlfriend is here." "She not my girlfriend! She's just my best friend." The mare chuckled. "Whatever you say, Master BlueBlood." The mare stepped aside as the eager young colt ran out the door. She chuckled lightly and began cleaning up his soldiers. BlueBlood galloped down the stairs, instantly looking for his best unicorn friend. "Scritch!" Scritch, who full name was Scritch' n ' Scratch, had pancake colored fur and a brown mane and tail. Her mane messily draped over her shoulders, strands here and there. She had three spikes, hanging in front of her face. She had green eyes and small square glasses. "Blue!" The two locked in a hug for a few seconds. "What are we doing today?" "It's a secret." "And what kind of secret would this be?" Suddenly, BlueBlood's aunt, Princess Celestia, walked out, pink hair flowing. "Oh um. Hi Aunt Celestia! It's not a big secret, we're just going to the park." Scritch let out an angered huff. "The park? What's so great about the park?" "If you don't hush, we can't go we're I'm really talking about." Scritch nodded and zipped it. "Alright then, I'll have Spectro and Moon Flash go with you." "Not Spectro-" "And Moon Flash!" "Yes, Spectro and Moon Flash." The two pegasus colts came down from the steps and stood on either side of the foals. "Don't get into trouble, but have fun!" "We won't!" The group of 4 walked out the door. BlueBlood and Scritch were dragging behind Spectro and Moon Flash. Scritch walked closer to BlueBlood. "So where are we really going?" "Well, I overheard some of the adults talking about an awesome pond in the middle of the jungle. I was hoping we could go." "I've lived in the jungle nearly half my life and I have never seen this pond. Plus, if we do go, how are we gonna get away from Spectrout and Moon Fish?" Scritch and BlueBlood laughed. Scritch had a habit of making jokes with the two stallions names. "Nice one!" Scritch and BlueBlood were still talking. Moon Flash turned and smiled. He bumped Spectro, and nodded toward the foals. "Aw! That's adorable!" "Little seeds of romance blossoming in Equestria. Your aunts will be elated. With them choosing Scritch and all!" The foals looked at each other before looking back at the stallions. "What?" "Master BlueBlood, your aunts chose Scritch to marry you." "Ew!" "Sick!" "I can't marry her! She's my best friend!" "That would be way strange." "Well, you don't really have a choice." BlueBlood and Scritch groaned and began to drag on. "Wait a minute. Don't you have to do what I tell you?" "Not yet, young master." "But you do when he gets older. So why wait?" "Until he reaches the age were he can rule the family business, he's not in charge. And with that attitude, your shaping up to be a pretty pathetic pony prince." BlueBlood looked at Spectro and Moon Flash, a cocky look sneaking its way onto his face. "Not the way I'm thinking." (I Just Can't Wait To Be Prince is playing) [BlueBlood] I'm gonna be a handsome prince To get mares that are fair [Spectro] Well, I've never seen a Prince of Class With quite so little care [BlueBlood] I'm gonna be the main event Like no prince was before I'm brushing up on looking cool I'm working on my score [Moon Flash] With how you're planning it I'd rather mince [BlueBlood] Oh, I just can't wait To be prince ("You've got a longs way to go, young master! If you think...) [BlueBlood] No one saying, "Eat that" ("Wait, when we said that...") [Scritch] No one yelling, "Come here" ("What we meant was...") [BlueBlood] No one scolding, "Cut it" ("Now you don't see...") [Both] No one saying, "Stop dear" ("Now, stop! Dear!") [BlueBlood] Free to play around all day ("That's certainly gone.") [BlueBlood] Free to do it all Blue's way [Spectro] I think it's time that you and us Planned a heart-to-heart [BlueBlood] A prince don't advice from Pegasi for a start [Moon Flash] If this is where the family work is heading Count us out Out of service Out Equestria We would never lay about We rather work for your Wealthy brother Vince [BlueBlood] Oh, I just can't wait To be prince ("Can you believe this kid?") [BlueBlood] Everybody, walk left Everybody, walk right But, everywhere you walk I'm Stepping in the spotlight ("Not now!") [Off Screeners] Let everypony Go for broke Not wince The water has Been cleared That sunlight rinse It's gonna be Prince BlueBlood's Finest since [BlueBlood] Oh, I just can't wait To be prince Oh, I just can't wait To be prince Oh, I just can't wait (Hold that note) To be prince BlueBlood and Scritch laughed as they ran way from Spectro and Moon Flash. They had gotten trapped on the crowd. "Sweet! It worked perfect!" "We lost'em!" "We are geniuses!" "Ain't we?" The foals high-hoofed and began walking. "Wait a minute." Scritch was stopped by BlueBlood's arm. "Look." BlueBlood pointed at the exact place they were looking for. They high-hoofed again went to dive in. "Don't!" The foals turned around to see Moon Flash and Spectro. "Not you guys!" "Don't go in there!" "And why not?" "Because that's the Equestrian Acid Pool! It burns all who touch it!" BlueBlood picked a vibe and walked over to the water. He dipped it in and pulled it. It was smoking. "Dear Aunt Celestia..." "We need to go now. Your aunt requests us back at the castle." The foals followed the stallions back to the family castle. Celestia looked at her nephew and took a deep breath. "BlueBlood, say goodbye to Madam Scritch." "W-what?" "My mother has decided that it's time that I take throne in Cantorlot. We're moving there." "N-no. Please! She's my very best friend!" "We know, nephew. But our sister has to. We are sorry." BlueBlood hugged Scritch and they refused to let go of each other. They were both crying. "Come now BlueBlood." The colt whimpered into Scritch's shoulder before letting go. He looked at her before following his aunts. (In the carriage) Everything was packed and they were about to take off. "Wait!" BlueBlood hopped out the carriage and over to Scritch. He locked a necklace her neck with his magic. "This is so you can always remember me." Scritch looked down at the heart shaped necklace. She took it in her hooves and opened it. There sat a picture of her and BlueBlood. She smiled through her tears and hugged BlueBlood. "I'm gonna miss you, so much. Promise you'll never forget me." "Never." The two hugged one last time. Scritch put a collar and tie around BlueBlood's neck. It was big for him though. "It was gonna be for your birthday, but since I'm not too a be there for it..." BlueBlood out his hoof in Scritch's shoulder. "I'm gonna miss you so much." "I'm gonna miss you, too." BlueBlood wiped his tears and walked back to the carriage. He waved as it took off, Scritch waving back. //-------------------------------------------------------// Catching Up //-------------------------------------------------------// Catching Up Stallion Prince BlueBlood stood at the top of the stairs, greeting guests as they entered the Gala. "Hello. Hello. Hello. H-" He looked down over the railing, astounded. "Is that?" There, in a simple yet beautiful dress, stood a pancake-colored mare with a down mane and tail. Her mane draped over her shoulders, strands here and there. Three spikes hung in front of her face. She had green eyes and small square glasses. "It can't be." BlueBlood raced down the stairs to get a better look. He walked over to the mare and tapped her shoulder. She turned around. "Why, hello!" "It is you..." "Excuse me?" "Scritch, it's me...BlueBlood." The mare's magical grasp on her drink died and the cup fell to the ground. "It can't be..." BlueBlood took her hoof. "It is. Look." BlueBlood pointed to his collar and tie. "I finally grew into it." Scritch was still breathless and pulled a heart shaped necklace from under her dress collar. She opened the locket and looked back and forth between BlueBlood and the picture inside. She shut it and put it back. "It is you." Smiles spread across their faces. "Dude!" "Whoa!" "I haven't seen you in forever!" "I'd missed you so much! A day didn't go by that I didn't think about about our adventures!" By now, Celestia had walked over to see what was going on. "BlueBlood, who's this?" "Aunt Celestia, don't you remember her?" Celestia leaned in a little closer and gasped. "Scritch?" "It's me, Madam Celestia." The white-pink alicorn brought the mare in for a hug, of which she returned. "Sister, what is the problem?" "Luna, look!" The midnight mare walked over and gasped. "Is it really thou?" "Yes, Madam Luna." Everyone was brought in for a group hug. "BlueBlood, show her around the castle." "Yes, Aunt Celestia! Come on, Scritch-" "And, for old times sake, I'll have Spectro and Moon Flash go with you." BlueBlood let out a groan. His head made a thunking noise as it banged against the wall. "Aren't you a little old for them?" The two, slightly elder, stallions flew down the steps. They walked closer to BlueBlood, but stopped when they saw Scritch. "Moon Flash, is that who I think it is?" "It's Madam Scritch!" The two stallions ran over and gave the mare a hug. "I can't believe it's you!" "You've grown up so much!" "Yeah, it's me!" "Yes. It's my best friend. Can we go now?" Scritch chuckled and nudged BlueBlood. "Impatient as ever." BlueBlood laughed and nudged her back. They began walking away, Spectro and Moon Flash following. "Hey, kids, listen." BlueBlood and Scritch turned around lazily. "I know ya wanna catch up and all, so go on ahead and do so." "Me and Moon Flash have some...business to attend to." Moon Flash blushed and bit his smiling lip. The two stallions walked away from the slightly confused mare and stallion. "O...k. Let's keep walking." "Good idea." The two turned around and continued walking toward the garden, talking all the while. "So do you still live in the jungle?" "Sorta. I stopped nomading about it and finally found a beautiful place to settle down in. It is quite a lovely part of the jungle. I should probably take you some time." "Sounds wonderful." "What have been doing?" "Not much. Aunt Celestia says I'm not allowed to leave castle grounds, so I often have to practice my 'princely' skills. I remember at last years Gala, there was this white unicorn mare that tried to hit on me. The entire time, I pretended to be this stuck-up, pompous, prince because I knew she wasn't the right one for me." BlueBlood paused his speaking for a second. "Then she shook cake all over me." BlueBlood and Scritch laughed. Scritch began running, causing BlueBlood to chase after her. He tackled her, knocking them both to the ground, sides adjacent, laughing. A shadow loomed over them.
