The Accident

~Texas, Ft.Worth~

I was on my way home from the movies with my Dad, Stepmother, and my baby Sister. We had just went and seen, The Amazing Spiderman 2.  Although, My Stepmother did not want to sit in the back of the car, but my sister would not stop crying. So, that meant I had to sit in the front of the car. I enjoyed sitting in the front, but now it was downright boring and LOUD. And then, I saw my life flash before my eyes.

A semi trucker had fallen asleep at the wheel and came right at us. My Dad saw one second to late. When the trucker hit, all I felt was pain. I knew pain like it was my best friend, and to be honest, it was. I had lost my Step-Father in a fatal car accident, lost my Grandmother when I was sleeping with bed with her, because the house the lived in had been in a fire and they only had one bed and a couch, my Grandfather chose the couch, And I lost my Grandfather when he was preaching at the church him and I went to. I can recall more people, but those ones are most dear to me.

My Dad had swerved out of the way of the semi, but it still hit where I was sitting. It hit me, and only me. My sister was lucky, I would figure out later on in my life. But... as I was saying. All I felt was pain. It was everywhere. I couldn't think straight, couldn't breath, couldn't move. Even the simple task of breathing became a chore for the next, and possibly last, few minutes of my life.

When they say 'Death was instantaneous'. They were wrong. I spent nearly the next five minutes in pure agony, wishing for it to stop.  The added terror of the situation made my shallow breathing shallower, and my heartbeat sped up.  Memories began to flash through my head, from the time I was born to my death. At least, I thought it was death.

~Equestria, Somewhere near Ponyville~

I felt the pain in my body go away. It ebbed away like the tide, relieving me of the immense agony. That pain had finally vanished, meaning I must be dead. I could feel wind in my hair. I felt grass. I could hear wildlife. I could feel something on my back?!?!

As I got up to see what was on my back, I saw straps. I could tell it was a backpack of some sorts. Only then, did I realize that I was not on earth anymore, but in a familiar place, although I couldn't put my finger on where it was. I noticed I didn't have any marks that suggested to what had happened only minutes before. The pain I felt now was one of being sore like you get when you sleep for more than twenty-four hours. I wasn't on earth anymore! Fear began to worm its way back into me as I surveyed my surroundings. I tried to figure it out, but no destination came to mind.

I needed to figure out what was in the bag I had, so I opened it to find my computer, my ipods, my jacket, a pair of headphones, a couple of my favorite books, a cowboy hat, and a few very important items to me: a necklace, a pick, a die, a feather, and dog tags. These were things to remind me of loved fallen ones. I put everything away except for my jacket, because it was a little chilly, my cowboy hat, my headphones, My iPod five, and my important items.

Now, I all I need to do was figure out where I was and to find any sign of civilization. As I headed out from my location of awakening, I put my headphones on and turn on my favorite song, Spitfire. The first thing I see, is want appears to be a town, although it looked a bit only fashioned, a town, nonetheless. I headed out for the town to reach it about one hour later. I read a sign before entering the town that said "Welcome to Ponyville".

Right then, I realized why everything looked familiar. It was from a TV show back on Earth, where ever Earth was. The town was almost empty from the looks of it, although the were ponies walking around. They had not seen me yet,  but as soon as I came within a few feet, my music startled one of them. She screamed something and I couldn't hear her. Although, as I looked into her eyes I saw three things. Fear, Curiosity, and Anger. I took off my headphones and turned the music off. I then knelt down to eye level and I said "Interesting! It is just like the show back on Earth. Although, I am in a land of opportunities, peace, and well talking ponies." The next thing I knew, was being knocked out by something. Definitely not the pony I had talked to, but something else.

I woke to find myself in a bed, somewhere. I could hear some furious arguing and things being thrown. I went over to the door to try and open it. I felt a resistance and the fighting stopped. As soon as it stopped, I knew I was in danger. So I saw a balcony, I ran for it, jumped over the railing and started running with all my gear. 'ROTC paid off, finally.' I thought to myself as I ran. I looked back to see if I had pursuers and sure enough, I had what looked to be about 12 ponies running after me and 4 Pegasuses after me.

I just kept running even though they had stopped. Till I realized that, I stopped running and  and I realized about 20 or more ponies I assumed to be guards. I turned around to see I had been surrounded. That's when my Martial Arts training kicked in. One of the guards tried to tackle me, I sidestepped and kicked him aside. Another tried to tackle from behind, I grabbed his head and hoisted him over me and brought him down on his back. the next few guards had taken a step back, faces aghast.

I prepared for more to fight me only then did I realize a glowing behind me. A bolt of magenta lightning shot by, and exploded a few feet from me. Searching for the source, I looked to see a very angry Alicorn I recognized as Princess Twilight Sparkle. "How did you get here?" Seeing my face, she gasped, her eyes shining with curiosity. "Did you come through the mirror?" Regaining her angry stance, she fired another bolt of magic. I dodged that one with ease, only to find a blue blur rushing me from behind. I dove out of the way to see, who I assumed to be Rainbow Dash, hit the princess head on.

I got back up and said with a smile, "Gotta go!" And with that I left a extremely angry and confused Twilight Sparkle, a dazed Rainbow Dash, a concerned group of guards, and a crowd of shocked ponies. As I ran, I made my way for the city on the mountain. I know it as Canterlot. I ran for about an hour before I stopped at a creek and got some water. I sat for a minute pondering why I was here and asked myself or the world, why I wasn't dead. Yet. Then continued on my way towards Canterlot, to seek out answers, from the Princesses, as to why I was here.

~Back at Ponyville~

"So, the human beat all of your guards, you, and Rainbow Dash?" Applejack asked. "Yes girls, the human beat my guards, Me, and Dash." Twilight said. The Mane Six were very confused as to what the human was doing here, because it made quite the scare when it entered town. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna came to hear what had happened. They were shocked to hear that a human had beat a full fledged Alicorn single-handed and it beat up all of Twilight's guard as if they were nothing, but foals.

"So, We have is an human that can speak fluent Equish, seems to boundless endurance, and also better trained than our guards." Princess Celestia stated, as she learned of the Crisis at hand. "Luna, alert the guard and tell them that the human was headed towards Canterlot. Also Tell them to handle the human with extreme caution, if found." With that being said, Luna flew off to the palace to begin the search for the human.
