Shining Armor knew that a threat would soon be coming to the Crystal Empire. He'd have to stop it alone, as Cadance was currently away on super secret  Princess business! It was like, all up to him for once! He was still a little disappointed that they didn't turn him into an Alixorn when he marries her. That was why he did anyway! He deicided that he'd just side with the treat when it came, instead of helping the forces of good. Maybe then he could bully Celestoi into tuning him into an Alicoen.
