Stitching It Together

The mare shook her head angrily. "No no NO! These outfits are terrible! I thought you were suppose to be an amazing fashion designer. These are the worst things I've ever seen!"

"M-maybe if I just-" Rarity cried, frantically trying to make something out of nothing. "...a dash of red. Maybe if I add-"

"NO!" The newest and biggest pop idol, Silver Solstice screamed. "You've done enough! I'll just have to find someone else to make my outfits by this weekend." She headed towards the door with her head up in disgust. Rarity ran to intercept her.

"Wait! Just... come back tomorrow. Give me one more chance and I'm sure I can make something you'll love!" she was down by the mares feet pleading and crying. "Just one more day."

After a pause, Silver Solstice sighed. "Fine. One day. If you can't come up with something I absolutely adore, you'll never be designing anyone's outfits again. You can be sure of that!"

"Thank you! Thank you! I promise you won't be disappointed again!" Rarity watched as Silver Solstice and her entourage left. "Oh... what am I going to do...?" The room was strangely silent as she looked at all her outfits she had created. Failures, all of them. Rarity walked up to the outfits and threw them all onto the ground. "The client's always right..."

She worked all night long on new outfits, racking her brains trying to figure out something that Silver would actually like. By the time morning came her work room was a complete mess with fabric and jewels all over the place. Rarity's hair was all tangled and she had huge dark circles under her bloodshot eyes. She had just placed the last jewel when Silver Solstice walked through the front door.

"I'm back! These outfits better be fantastic!" Silver pranced into the showroom. Rarity began pushing the outfits into place. "You better have redeemed yourself Missy."

"Oh but I have" exclaimed and exhausted Rarity. "These are by far my best creations yet! Are you ready?" She pulled away the curtains. "I give you, Aurora Chic! A line of outfits that captures one of Equestria's greatest wonders!"

"I..." Silver Solstice seemed to be paralyzed for a moment by the outfits. Rarity leaned in closely and hopefully. She really did believe this was her best work yet. "I hate it! This is even worse than before!"

"But I..."

"Repulsive! Disgusting! How could you possibly think this looks good?" Silver glared at Rarity. She glanced at one of the mares following her. "I'd be better off wearing Pepper her as an outfit!"

"I thought..." Rarity stared at the ground. "But... this was the best I've ever done... I..."

"Well it looks like even your best is complete trash!" yelled Silver.

Rarity twitched a little when she heard that. "I just wanted to..."

"Oh just wait till the press gets a hold of this. You won't be designing for anyone." Silver snickered.

"Pepper... outfit..." Rarity's eyes twitched as she looked from Silver to Pepper and back. Pepper looked at her curiously. "Stitch... stitch..." Rarity mumbled and gritted her teeth. Silver was still spouting foul things and declaring how she'll ruin her, when Rarity took Pepper by the hoof.

"What are you..." Pepper exclaimed.

"Hush, don't talk. Fabric..." Rarity grinned as a needle held by purple magic quickly pierced Pepper's skin, causing the mare to let out a scream. This caused Silver to stop her ramblings and look at Rarity in horror.

"What are you doing!" Silver yelled and rushed over to the two mares. She was met with a piece of fabric magically wrapping around her legs. The pop star collapsed on the ground. Rarity tied up the colt that had accompanied the other two. It was at that point that Pepper ran for the door, screaming. Rarity pulled on the thread and the needle pulled and stretched the mares skin, causing her to fall backwards in pain.

"Shh... don't run... you'll stretch out the fabric." Rarity grinned down at the mare, her eye twitching. Pepper yelped and then was met with another needle being threaded through her left leg. She cried out as her blood began to pool on the ground. Rarity then produced a pair of very sharp scissors brought them up close to the mares face. Fear was visible in Pepper's eyes as she struggle to get away from the scissors. The more she struggle, the more she pulled on the threads running through her arms, which stretched out her skin and caused more blood to spill out.

"No... please... don't!" Pepper cried as the scissors pierced the skin of her neck. A stream of blood shot out and hit Rarity clear in the face. She licked her lips and proceeded to cut the skin around Pepper's face. Each snip caused a blood curdling scream from the mare as her eyes filled with red.

"Stop this!" screamed the colt, who was then swiftly met with a pair of scissors flying directly into his eye, causing blood to splatter all over Silver Solstice. The pop star cried out in disgust and fear.

"YOU BE QUIET." shouted Rarity. "I'm making you the best outfit you'll ever have. Be patient." Her voice sounded almost gentle, but with an ominous tone to it. She looked back down at her work, Pepper was shaking violently. Rarity pulled on the threads. "Be still!" She continued to cut faster with the scissors. The faster she cut the more blood spilled, but this only made her cut even faster. Her white body was covered in crimson red and she was grinning with her eyes wide as she cut off the mare's face and laid it on the ground. "And down the middle..." Pepper was no longer moving or screaming as Rarity took the scissors and began cutting straight down her chest. "Piece by piece..." The skin on her chest seemed to be thicker than her face, so Rarity had to push hard against the scissors, which caused blood to spray everywhere. "...snip by snip..." Once she had made it down all the way she reached her hooves in between the two pieces and pulled them apart, revealing the still moving organs and veins underneath.

At this point, Silver was screaming her head off. "You monster! HELP!!! SOME ONE SAVE US!!!" Rarity stood up angrily and walked over to the pop star, leaving bloody foot prints as she walked. "No! Get away from me you piece of trash!"

"What did I say. You have to be quiet and wait..." Rarity picked up a pin cushion and shoved it in Silver's mouth. One of the pins stabbed her tongue and caused her to bleed. Before she could spit out the cushion, Rarity wrapped fabric around her mouth tightly. "Quiet while the artist works." She said gently, with a twitch of the eye, then turned back towards the mangled heap of blood and flesh that was Pepper. Silver had tears in her eyes and she tried not to stab her self with the pins in her mouth.

"Now where was I?" Rarity looked at her work, trying to find her place. "Ah right..." She flipped Pepper over and pulled at her skin, tearing the veins and arteries apart. A strange, gurgling sound came from Pepper's mouth that was probably suppose to be a whimper.Rarity pulled hard on the skin until all that was holding it were some arteries. She then brought the scissors out and began snipping away, causing more and more blood to spill all over until she had finally freed the skin from Pepper.

"Okay, Silver, time to fit the fabric." She walked towards Silver, who shook her head. This caused a pin to stab through the side of her mouth and blood began to spill, which caused her to choke. Tears flooded the pop stars face. Rarity slowly drapped the skin around Silver Solstice. Whenever she tried to move away another pin would stab her, till she eventually gave in and let Rarity put the skin on her. "Now to fit it..." A needle and thread magic floated towards Silver, whose eyes widened in fear.

"Mmm! MMMMM!" Silver struggled to get away, causing a pin to stab deep between two of her teeth and get lodged there. Blood was filling her covered mouth, causing her to choke and swallow a lot of blood.

"Quit moving. Don't you know a stitch in time saves nine?" Rarity held the pop star still as the needle pierce through both skins. Silver whimpered as Rarity began threading the needle through Pepper's skin and into hers. "Thread by thread..." The mare accidentally swallowed the pin cushion causing many pins to pierce through her throat. "...stitching it together..." Silver started to fall over but Rarity held her still as she continued threading. "All most... there."

She finished and stood back grinning widly. "It's... it's perfect!" Rarity rushed to get a mirror as Silver fell against the wall, shivering and crying. The designer came back with the mirror and the pop star looked in horror as she saw that her skin had been fused together with Pepper's.

"The client's always right..." murmured Rarity as she shoved Silver Solstice out of her front door. "Now go and dazzle the world with my creation!" The bloodied and choking pop star stumbled through the streets of Ponyville, causing many ponies to run and scream. She collapsed against a fountain and her blood began to pool into the water, turning it red. Silver's teary eyes closed for the last time as she took one last blood filled breath.
